On the eve of GALACTICON 2008.......
In 2102 one of the most tragic stories in wrestling occurred when a rookie by the name of Crossfire was killed in the ring...
A skin graft from Crossfire's leg was taken before the burial, and at the time the idea was to one day clone the fallen fighter...
21 years later..................
The nightmare is over.............or has it just begun for.......
TORN
21 long years after the brutal and disturbing in ring death of Crossfire at the hands of Blazing Skull, the GWF braces itself for the debut of the long awaited Crossfire Clone, Torn.
Raised by Lorelei while being monitored by the scientists who cloned him, it was not until his thirteenth year, when Torn suffered from agonizing nightmares, seeing himself dying in a wrestling ring, did Torn learn from his Mother the truth of his horrendous past. It was then when Torn went from a happy youth to a confused, bitter, and increasingly violent young man.
From that day on Torn dedicated his time and life to the art of fighting. Already an accomplished archer in his early teens, Torn channeled his anger by turning his attention to more vicious acts of violence, eventually entering the Centaurus Wrestling Federation at age eighteen. Despite the pleas of his mother Lorelei, and brother and former GWF star Blade, Torn made it known his goal was to one day re-enter the GWF and full fill a legacy cut short by the murderous Blazing Skull.
By his own admission, Torn was always just that - torn - after finding out about his past. In some cases Torn has gone as far to blame others for the nightmares that still haunt him to this day. His tendency to lash out at others has started whispers that his true intentions of returning to the GWF have less to do with his goal of fulfilling a legacy cut short by Blazing Skull and more about acting out revenge on the federation that saw him carried away in death.
Torn has been given a contract to compete in the GWFZ and earn a return to the GWF. He brings with him two finishers, CROSSFIRE CLONE, his own version of the tag finisher he and Archon shared in 2102, a flying leg drop from the top turnbuckle, and the deadly and controversial TRAUMATIZED!
Torn claims his nightmares sometimes follow him to the ring, and he will often see the face of his killer, Blazing Skull in place of his opponent...when this happens Torn unleashes a vicious fireball to the face of his adversary! TRAUMATIZED has already gained the attention of Endgame, who has publicly claimed Torn knows full well what he is doing when he unleashes his fireball, regardless of Torn's claims this occurs only when he blacks out and sees the face of Blazing Skull in the ring.
For now, the GWFZ will have it's hands full with the troubled and confused Torn. Should he earn a GWF contract, one has to wonder who's side he will take in Martial Law 2123.
