After a 1 week break, Major League Wrestling (MLW) action returns this weekend with this week's episode of Saturday EAWA!
Major League Wrestling (MLW) EAWA Saturday October 17, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
In the Ring: EAWA Tag Team Champions the Valiants
- The Valiants brag about how they've been the only EAWA Tag Tag Team Champions since the EAWA brand was started almost a year ago and how, after they defeated the Double Axe Attack last time on EAWA to retain their championship, they expect to be the EAWA Tag Team Champions for a long time as at Summer Slam they've pledged allegiance to EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase.
- Suddenly the entrance music for the Double Axe Attack plays and the Hennigs come out to join the Valiants in the ring.
- Larry "the Axe" Hennig challenges either Valiant brother to a singles match tonight and if he (Larry Hennig) wins then the Double Axe Attack gets another title shot at Halloween Havoc.
- The Valiants say yes but only if the Hennigs agree that if either Larry Hennig loses this singles match tonight or if the Double Axe Attack does get a title shot at Halloween Havoc and loses then the Hennigs will not receive another title shot during the Valiant's current EAWA Tag Team Championship reign.
- Mr. Perfect points out that MLW's Survivor Series rules in which the survivors of the elimination matches at next month's PPV receive automatic title shots could negate this agreement, but otherwise the Hennigs agree to this demand.
- The Valiants agree too and then, as Johnny Valiant suddenly attacks an unprepared Larry Hennig, say this singles match is taking place now!
Match #1: Larry "the Axe" Hennig (accompanied by Mr. Perfect) defeated Johnny Valiant (accompanied by Jimmy Valiant).
- Despite Johnny V controlling most of the action due to getting an unfair early advantage in this match, Larry Hennig won via a double forearm hammer.
- As a result, the Double Axe Attack gets another title shot against the EAWA Tag Team Champions the Valiants at Halloween Havoc in 2 weeks!
Match #2: The Vachons (managed by "Wild" Red Berry) defeated the Mongols (managed by Sir Oliver Humperdink)
- For the second straight EAWA episode, the Vachons pick up a victory over the Mongols as Mad Dog Vachon pinned Geeto Mongol via his PILEDRIVER.
Backstage: The Heroes of Hardcore are interviewed by EAWA interviewer Trinity Denucci.
- Hardcore Hodge (Danny Hodge): "I'm Hardcore Hodge!"
- Hardcore Hutton (Dick Hutton): "And I'm Hardcore Hutton!"
- Hardcore Hodge and Hardcore Hutton together: "And together we're the Heroes of Hardcore!"
- Hardcore Hodge: "We just learned next month at MLW's 3rd ever Survivor Series PPV that all 3 MLW brands will have a 3 way elimination tag match for their brand's tag team championship."
- Hardcore Hutton: "And we also learned that regardless of the outcome at Halloween Havoc, both the EAWA Tag Team Champions the Valiants and the Double Axe Attack will be 2 of the 3 tag teams in that EAWA 3 way tag team championship elimination match at Survivor Series."
- Hardcore Hodge: "So at Halloween Havoc is will be us, the Heroes of Hardcore, vs the Vachons vs the Mongols in a 3 way elimination tag match with the winner getting the final spot in the 3 way EAWA Tag Team Championship tag elimination match at Survivor Series!"
- Hardcore Hutton: "And to prove we belong, next week on EAWA it will be us vs the winner of that last match the Vachons!"
Match #3: The Crusher defeated the Terrible Turk
- Despite losing repeatedly on recent episodes of EAWA to the Terrible Turk and his controversial STRANGLEHOLD finisher (for which the Terrible Turk can't get disqualified for using here in the EAWA due to the extreme rules nature of the brand), The Crusher won tonight via a Crusher Nelson.
- Afterward, to prove tonight's victory wasn't a fluke, The Crusher (a former EAWA Champion) challenged the Terrible Turk to a finisher's match at Halloween Havoc which will pit the CRUSHER BOLO vs the controversial STRANGLEHOLD!
Match #4: D'Lo Brown and Danny Doring defeated Al Snow and Playboy Buddy Rose
- Snow and Rose win this match when Snow pinned Brown via the SNOW PLOW 1 move after hitting Brown in the head with Head.
- Afterward, the Missing Link (who has shown himself enchanted by Head on the past episodes of EAWA) ran into the ring and stole Head and ran to the back with Snow in pursuit.
- Meanwhile, in the ring, Brown is attended to by trainers and EMTs who load him onto a stretcher as it appears Brown got injured in tonight's match.
Match #5: Giant Baba defeated Justin Credible (accompanied by the Sandman).
- After defeating Credible's tag team partner the Sandman on the previous episode of EAWA, Baba also defeated Credible tonight via his NECKBREAKER DROP as he seeks revenge against the Barroom Heroes who recently set him on fire backstage on EAWA.
- Afterward, the Barroom Heroes once again reminded Baba of their challenge to him of a 2 on 1 handicap match at Halloween Havoc and Baba signaled his reaffirmation to this challenge!
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and includes Ray Stevens vs his enemy Bob Orton Sr., Steve "Dr. Death"Williams vs his former manager and current enemy Killer Kowalski, Brass Knuckles Champion Sabu vs EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase in a non-title match, and EAWA Champion Rob Van Dam vs the Iron Sheik (a former EAWA Champion) in a non-title match!

Major League Wresting (MLW) No Mercy Sunday October 18, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Third of the show)
- No Mercy was preceded by a 30 minute edition of Major League Wrestling Fight Night which recapped all of the major story lines going into tonight's PPV and included 1 dark match.

- Before this match began, Tiger Mask shook hands with Liger.
- Great opening match won by a Tiger Mask via a twisting moonsault to regain the Cruiserweight Championship.
Match #2: Ed "Strangler" Lewis defeated Bob Roop
- In a show of sportsmanship at the start of the match, Roop offered his hand for Lewis to shake. At first Lewis looked like he would shake Roop's hand but then instead took advantage of the situation to instead hit Roop with a foot sweep to start the match in his favor.
- Despite some good offensive series by Roop who valiantly resisted repeated attempted STRANGLER'S HEADLOCKS, Lewis eventually got Roop to tap out to his patented finishing hold.
- Afterward Lewis reminded Roop that, despite Roop's amateur success as an Olympic athlete, he (Lewis) still doesn't consider Roop an actual professional wrestler until Roop manages a victory over him (Lewis).
Match #3: The Armstrongs defeated Don Leo Jonathan in a handicap match.
- The Armstrongs overcame DLJ's major size advantage when Brad Armstrong hit DLJ from behind with his RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP and "Bullet" Bob Armstrong then immediately applied his SLEEPER for the victory.

- Afterward, as the New Age Outlaws brawled with the Midnight Express, the One Man Gang hit a still downed Severn with 2 straight 747 SPLASH'S and was preparing to go for a 3rd 747 SPLASH when all of a sudden Hacksaw Jim Duggan with his 2 X 4 ran into the ring to make the save. Duggan chased Cornette away by swinging (but missing) his 2 X 4 at him before smashing the One Man Gang hard on the head with his 2 X 4.
- As the One Man Gang stumbled to the back, Duggan checked on Severn as the announcers comment that this probably isn't the last we've seen of Duggan and the One Man Gang.

Match #6: Johnny Valentine and Larry Zbyszko (both managed by Eddie Fyne) defeated George Hackenschmidt and Antonio Inoki
- Valentine and Zbyszko, who briefly earlier this year held the World Tag Team Championship, won when their manager Fyne got away with spraying Hackenschmidt in the face with pepper spray followed by Valentine immediately applying his ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER for the pinfall victory over the former MLW Champion.

Backlund's Office: In his office, RAW General Manager Bob Backlund is shown talking to Don Muraco and Cowboy Bob Orton Jr. (both accompanied by Ladies Champion Sherri Martel), the Love Brothers, the Body Donnas, and Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke.
- Backlund tells these tag teams they will be at Fall Brawl along with Valentine and Beefcake and the Killer Bees in a 6 way tag elimination playoff match to determine which of them will participate in the 3 way tag elimination match for the MLW Tag Team Championship next month at Survivor Series in which the current MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos have already qualified for one of the 3 spots regardless of whether or not they retain their championship against Diamond Dallas Page and John Pesek at Fall Brawl.
- After all the tag teams leave, Backlund turns around to find Abdullah Farouk right in his face.
- Farouk reminds Backlund that if it wasn't for Backlund's controversial ruling at Unforgiven then The Sheik (managed by Farouk) would still be the Intercontinental Champion and that Backlund should watch the next match closely to see what The Sheik is going to do to Backlund in their match at Fall Brawl.
Match #4: The Sheik (managed by Abdullah Farouk) defeated S.D. Jones.
- The Sheik won viciously after hitting Jones with a stab with sharp object.

As Street slithered away, Londos announced that at Fall Brawl it will be him (Londos) vs Street!
Match #7: The French Angel Maurice Tillet vs Nick Bockwinkel (managed by Bobby Heenan and accompanied by the Heenan Family's "problem solver" Ox Baker) ended in a double DQ.

- DiBiase explains that, instead of it being an elimination tag match, it will just be a tag match where the winners take both titles with (if DiBiase and the Iron Sheik win) the EAWA Championship going to DiBiase and the Brass Knuckles Championship going to the Iron Sheik regardless of who actually pins RVD or Sabu or makes either one of them tap out. DiBiase then gave his diabolical laugh before RVD's entrance music was played.
