GWF Supernova #1 01.03.2087 from Deimos Intergalactic Arena
- In the Arena - The first show of the reborn GWF started with the FDF came out in force to the thunderous applause of the assembled crowd. With a mic in hand, Omega addressed them, saying, "Welcome back, at long last, to the GWF!"
"Tonight," he continued as the crowd quieted down so he could speak, "we start down the road towards establishing our new champions. Tournaments begin tonight for the Galaxian Championship and the Galaxian Tag Team Championship, and will continue throughout the month until our champions are crowned at this month's pay-per-view event, GWF Coronation!"
Omega started to speak again, but was cut off as Thantos appeared on the other entrance ramp, flanked by the Evil Ones. "That belt's mine, old man, and you know it! You couldn't take it off of me and your son couldn't take it off of me, and you decided that your dream folding around you last year was the perfect opportunity to finally get your hands back on it. Well enjoy it, because it'll just be mine again soon enough."
"Well see about that, Thantos," Star Warrior said, taking the microphone from his father. "I carried you for years as your partner, and I know your weaknesses. You're not half the wrestler you think you are."
"Carried me?" Thantos shot back angrily. "You held me back! For years, your father kept me down because he knew how much better I was than you."
"That's Morpheus talking, Cosmos," Omega said calmly as Thantos bristled at the mention of his old ring name. "And you'll get your chance to prove if this belt truly is yours on an equal ground with everyone else. The road to the Coronation starts right now!" The FDF cleared the ramp, followed shortly, although begrudgingly, by Thantos and his henchmen clearing the other side to make room for the first match of the night.
- GWF Tag Team Championship Tournament - Opening Round - Lord Nexus and Pulsar vs. Exo-King and Death Knight Pulsar defeated Death Knight with a WHIRLWIND at 9:06 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: All four wrestlers in this match got in extended periods of offense. The Titans in particular shone on offense, nailing several huge dives out of the ring on Exo-King, who really showed his toughness and resilience. In the end, Pulsar locked Death Knight into a WHIRLWIND, then scored the pin as Nexus cut off the save.
- GWF Championship Tournament - Opening Round - Invincible Krakan vs. Massif Invincible Krakan defeated Massif with a disqualification at 1:08 Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: Krakan took the win in a short match after what was an upsetting series of events in the fans' eyes. After throwing Massif out of the ring, Krakan tried to nail him with a chair. Massif caught the chair, though, then head butted it back into Krakan's face, causing the referee to call for a controversial and unpopular disqualification.
- GWF Tag Team Championship Tournament - Opening Round - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Omega and Commander Sam Massacre defeated Commander Sam with a disqualification at 8:28 Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: The Gladiators dominated the action in this match, working over Omega in the first half of the match and then double-teaming Sam on the outside frequently in the second half of the match. Sam eventually got tired of the flagrant double-teaming by the Gladiators, and took matters into his own hands, whipping Massacre repeatedly into the guardrail for the DQ.
- GWF Championship Tournament - Opening Round - Star Warrior vs. Executioner Executioner defeated Star Warrior with a HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE at 18:53 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: An incredible match was nearly marred early on by the appearance of Comrade Terror, who attempted to interfere on Executioner's behalf. It backfired when Terror dropped Executioner with a clothesline and dropkicked over the top rope, who then nailed Executioner with a NOVA LAUNCH. The masked man kicked out, though, and the match continued.
The action went back and forth from there for another fifteen minutes, with both men getting in big moves and nearfalls as the match progressed. The finish saw a huge double clothesline take both competitors down. Executioner was the first to his feet and quickly scrambled to the top rope, hitting Star Warrior with the second HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE of the match to score the win.
- In the Arena - "Look at you!" Thantos said as he appeared from behind the curtain. "You're pathetic! You couldn't even get out of the opening round." Star Warrior, exhausted from the match, glowered at Thantos from the ring as the Executioner slid out of the ring and left.
"You're a loser," the Gamemaster continued, "just like your old man. I'm just glad you spared me the trouble of having to prove it myself." Thantos was cut off from going any farther by Commander Sam, who charged in from the back and clobbered him with an American flag to the delight of the fans. The two tussled on the ramp as Star Warrior charged down and quickly separated them. Thantos scrambled away in panic, leaving Star Warrior alone with Sam. Sam snapped to attention and saluted the crowd favorite, but Star Warrior did not return the gesture, simply shaking his head and walking away as the broadcast faded out.

GWF Supernova #2 01.10.2087 from Deimos Intergalactic Arena
- GWF Tag Team Championship Tournament - Opening Round - Killer Queen and Vanity vs. Neptunian Space-Croppers Killer Queen defeated Renegade with a cross-body block at 19:43 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: This amazing match got the crowd hot from the opening bell. Both teams showed amazing teamwork, with frequent tags both on defense and on offense, and each of the four wrestlers hit their finisher at some point during the match. The end came with both Beast-Rider and Vanity basically out of action, leaving Renegade and Killer queen alone in the ring. Renegade missed a turnbuckle charge and Killer Queen capitalized, going up top for a flying shoulder block and then following it up with another top rope leap, the second one leading to the pinfall.
- In the Arena - As soon as the bell rang, the referee tried to raise Killer Queen's hand, but he wrenched his arm away and went back on the attack against Renegade. He locked in in CHECKMATE, wrenching back on his back viciously. Vanity, now awake but groggy, climbed up onto the apron when he saw what was going on and went up to the top rope. He posed for the jeering crowd and came down with a vicious PULVERIZER right on the back of Renegade's head as Killer Queen maintained the hold. Vanity went back up to the top and, after kicking down the just-recovered Beast-Rider who tried to stop him, hit one more PULVERIZER before security stormed the ring and got involved.
When order was restored, Renegade was face-down in the ring, writhing in pain. Beast-Rider tended to his fallen companion as medical teams hit the ring. Renegade was quickly moved to a stretcher and taken backstage for further evaluation.
- GWF Championship Tournament - Opening Round - Wolf vs. Comrade Terror Comrade Terror defeated Wolf with an ATOMIC WARHEAD at 6:06 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Comrade Terror was an offensive juggernaut in this match, overwhelming Wolf with big move after big move. Wolf showed his tenacity, kicking out after multiple high-impact maneuvers including an ATOMIC WARHEAD near the end. Terror immediately nailed a second consecutive ATOMIC WARHEAD, though, putting Wolf away in a result that was less surprising for its outcome than the dominance that Terror showed.
- GWF Tag Team Championship Tournament - Opening Round - Greek Gods vs. Ghenghis Khan and Mutant Actagon defeated Mutant with a GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP at 4:49 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: The Greek Gods dominated the match, completely cutting off Mutant from ever making a tag. After both he and Proteus displayed excellent teamwork and athleticism, Actagon won the match with the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP.
- GWF Championship Tournament - Opening Round - Thantos vs. Pit Viper Thantos defeated Pit Viper with a MASTERLOCK at 2:58 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: The Evil Gamemaster showed his in-ring prowess here, systematically dismantling Pit Viper from the opening bell before cinching in the MASTERLOCK for a quick submission victory.
- In the Arena - Thantos ripped the mic away from the ring announcer's hand, cutting him off halfway through the proclamation of Thantos' victory. "Suffice it to say," Thantos said as boos echoed through the crowd, "I won when the little snake tapped out like a girl. Now get out of here."
The ring announcer scurried off, and Thantos motioned a cameraman close. "Look at what happened, Omega!" he called out as he got right up on the camera, "Your FDF is gone from the tournament completely. Even aside from the foregone conclusion that I'm going to win the GWF Championship, it is now a guarantee that one of my so-called 'code breakers' is going to win that belt you tried so hard to keep from me.
"You know, Omega, it's funny that you call us 'code breakers,' anyway. Look at what happened; Commander Senile got disqualified for losing his temper yet again. Your precious rookie apparently doesn't know how the rules of wrestling work and got himself disqualified. Your men are the ones breaking the rules, Omega. You know what mine are doing?
"They're winning."

Nice read. Greek Gods vs. Khan and Mutant was one of my premier tag feuds when I was like 14 years old. Man, reading these old school feds really knock loose some great memories.

Thanks, guys! It's been quite fun getting started again, and it's accomplished the stated goal of getting me reacquainted with the system, which will be good for the long-term health of COTG and Legends Online.

GWF Supernova #3 01.24.2087 from Deimos Intergalactic Arena
Wolf vs. Mutant Wolf defeated Mutant with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 9:32 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: The crowd was brought to life by a wild brawl to open the show. Both men spent a lot of time on the outside, and while Wolf got in the majority of the offense, Mutant got his licks in, too. The Gladiator was just too much for him in the end, though. Wolf got the victory after nailing Mutant with a slingshot plancha, a massive double stomp from the top rope, and then pinning him while having the SAVAGE FACE CLAW locked in.
Massif vs. Exo-King Exo-King defeated Massif with a disqualification at 22:02 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Massif and Exo-King put on a classic big man match for more than twenty minutes. Both men hit huge power moves and exhibited incredible strength. The end came in a sudden and spectacular fashion, however; Exo-King threw Massif, whose face was covered with blood, to the outside, then climbed up to the top turnbuckle. As he came flying off with a splash, Massif caught him and used both his own immense power and his opponent's momentum to hurl Exo-King into the crowd, causing the referee to call for the disqualification.
- In the Arena - After the match, Massif was livid, arguing the disqualification with the referee. After getting nowhere, he shoved the referee away out of frustration and climbed into the crowd, where Exo-King was still down after landing badly. He started to stomp at his fallen opponent, putting heavy boots into a leg that appeared to have been injured in the fall.
Commander Sam ran down to the ringside area and hopped into the crowd, shoving Massif off of his assault. After staring at his FDF teammate for a moment, he grabbed Exo-King's leg, put his foot behind his knee, then picked it up and brought it crashing down to the arena floor. As Exo-King writhed in pain, Sam motioned for Massif to do the same; he did so, jumping into the air and slamming Exo-King's knee into the floor with unbelievable force.
Star Warrior ran down next and pulled the duo off of Exo-King. "What are you doing?" he shouted at Sam in frustration as newly-arriving security and medical personnel tended to the injured cyborg. "That's not the way we do things!"
"Maybe it should be!" Sam retorted as the camera got in close to pick up their conversation. "You're letting Thantos and his goons run all over us for the sake of honor. He doesn't deserve honor from us! He broke the Code! You want to lead us, and that's fine. I want you to lead us. But you need to start leading, or I'm going to do it for you." Sam walked off in a huff, leaving Star Warrior and Massif behind as the event staff started bringing everything back to order.
- GWF Championship Tournament - Semifinals - Invincible Krakan vs. Executioner Invincible Krakan defeated Executioner with a disqualification at 1:50 Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: Krakan advanced once again by less-than-honest means. The two brawlers quickly brought the fight to the floor and started to struggle over a chair, with the referee warning both of them not to use it. Suddenly, the chair came crashing down onto Krakan's head and the referee called for the disqualification.
- In the Arena - Executioner argued with the referee after the disqualification, seemingly claiming that Krakan had manipulated the situation to get the chair swung into his head. The referee wouldn't hear the argument, though, pushing him off and raising Krakan's hand as the apparent victor got to his feet. Krakan stumbled to the back as Executioner argued further with the referee, laughing and pointing to his head the whole way.
- GWF Tag Team Championship Tournament - Semifinals - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Lord Nexus and Pulsar Massacre defeated Lord Nexus with a MASSACRE SLAM at 15:13 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: The evening's main event saw an absolutely amazing display of tag wrestling from both teams. The Titans tagged in and out fluidly, and used their incredible arsenal of aerial maneuvers to their fullest to attack the slower Gladiators. The Gladiators showed practiced tag expertise as well, though, and hit their share of the big, high-impact moves. The finish came when Lord Nexus charged at Massacre in the corner and caught a mouth full of elbow for his trouble. As he staggered back, Massacre lunged forward, scooped him up, and fluidly nailed Nexus with the third MASSACRE SLAM of the match to score the pinfall victory.

GWF Supernova #4 01.21.2087 from Deimos Intergalactic Arena
- On-Screen Vignette - A quick recap of the first month of GWF action was shown to start the show, highlighting the injuries to Renegade at the hands of Killer Queen and Vanity and to Exo-King at the hands of Commander Sam and Massif. Both competitors were noted to be out of action until at least sometime in February and would both be ineligible to compete at Coronation. The video ended with the announcement of a Wolf versus Executioner match on the undercard at the pay-per-view.
Ghengis Khan vs. Pit Viper Ghengis Khan defeated Pit Viper with a countout at 9:25 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Pit Viper controlled the first portion of the match, attacking Khan aggressively and scoring several near falls. Khan took over in the latter half of the match, hitting a devastating thrust kick to the jaw of Pit Viper that swung the match's momentum in his favor. While brawling outside the ring, Khan nailed a massive spinning thrust kick to Pit Viper's chest that knocked him hard into the ringpost and left him unable to get back into the ring before the countout.
- In the Arena - Ghengis Khan quickly slid out of the ring and continued his assault on Pit Viper, stomping him as he lay on the outside. The referee tried to stop him, but Khan put the referee down with a TWIN THRUST. He then stood Pit Viper up against the pole, took a few steps back, and then nailed a massive thrust kick that smashed his head against the ring post, apparently trying to finish the job of ending his career. Security swarmed down before Khan could attack again, but the damage was done, and Pit Viper had to be carried off on a stretcher.
Star Warrior vs. Death Knight Star Warrior defeated Death Knight with a cross body block at :31 Match Rating: SQUASH Match Notes: The match was over almost as quickly as it started. After the two locked up, Death Knight whipped Star Warrior into the ropes only to get knocked down by a shoulder tackle. Star Warrior then hit the ropes again and nailed a cross body block on Death Knight as he got up to score the lightning-quick win.
- In the Arena - As soon as the ring announcer started to announce Star Warrior as the victor, Executioner ran down and slid into the ring and started to pound him with punches. Death Knight got up and joined in on the action, then the duo whipped him into the ropes for a double clothesline. Star Warrior ducked it, though, and hit them both with a Running Star Blast that sent them tumbling over the top rope.
Then, to the crowd's delight, Star Warrior climbed up to the top turnbuckle. He gave the familiar signal for his finisher and then flew high into the air, crashing down onto Death Knight with a massive NOVA LAUNCH. The impact as he hit the floor was crushing, doubling Death Knight over and doing obvious damage.
As medics came down to tend to Death Knight, Star Warrior climbed up clutching his ribs and rolled into the ring, motioning for a microphone. "Alright, Sam," he said, clearly addressing his FDF elder, "you wanted me to lead, so I'm leading." He motioned to Death Knight, now being the second wrestler of the night to get put on a stretcher. "And I did it the right way.
"My way - my father's way - it works, Sam. And at Coronation, I'm going to prove it to you. You and me, one-on-one, and whoever wins, the FDF will follow." The gauntlet thrown down, Star Warrior tossed the mic aside and, still holding his ribs, headed backstage.
- GWF Tag Team Championship Tournament - Semifinals - Greek Gods vs. Killer Queen and Vanity Killer Queen defeated Proteus with a disqualification at 8:08 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: The match saw a flurry of interference early when Vanity laid out Actagon after a pin attempt leading to Killer Queen making a cover, which in turn was broken up by Beast-Rider, who streaked out of the back to break up the pin attempt. The referee restored order and the match continued smoothly until the referee was knocked out when he got in the way of a corner clothesline from Proteus. When he came to, Proteus was administering a beating to Killer Queen, but the referee called for the bell, disqualifying Proteus for hitting him.
- In the Arena - Before the semifinal match, Thantos took the microphone and addressed Comrade Terror. "You did an excellent job in taking out Wolf and paving the way for me, Terror," he said. "I know that I made an excellent choice in bringing you into the GWF. You know what to do now."
He put down the microphone and the referee called for the bell. Thantos gestured for Terror to lay down and be covered, but Terror stood his ground. Thantos got into his face and screamed, ordering Terror once again to lay down. Comrade Terror stood stone-still in the face of the verbal onslaught for a moment, then unloaded with a big right hand into Thantos' breadbasket, and the match was on.
- GWF Championship Tournament - Semifinals - Thantos vs. Comrade Terror Thantos defeated Comrade Terror with a MASTERLOCK at 6:57 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Comrade Terror controlled the early parts of the match, brawling with Thantos outside the ring and going for high-impact moves rather than to try to grapple with his opponent. After being hit with an ATOMIC WARHEAD and kicking out three times, Thantos took over during a brawl on the outside. He locked Terror in the MASTERLOCK, only to see the hold broken! After hitting a huge flying clothesline he locked in the MASTERLOCK again to get the submission victory.
- In the Arena - As Thantos berated Comrade Terror for not just following his orders, the crowd came alive when GWF legend Omega appeared on the video screen. "Cosmos," he said, "I don't suppose you've done much Biblical study lately, have you?"
Furious, Thantos motioned for a mic, which was quickly delivered by a ringside attendant. He tapped it until the microphone came alive on the PA, then responded, "Hardly, old man."
"That's too bad," Omega replied, "but what about the American Civil War? Have you studied it in any detail?"
"I don't have time for your double-talk, you fossil," Thantos spat out angrily. "Get to the point."
"My point, Cosmos," Omega replied, "is that you could learn something from both studies: a house divided against itself cannot stand."
"Perhaps you should pay attention to your own little proverbs, Omega," Thantos said derisively. "Or did your boy challenge Commander Senile to a match during your naptime earlier?"
"While I thank you for the concern, Cosmos," Omega answered calmly, "I assure you that I've dealt with the situation; my house will stand. Yours, however, I have my doubts about."
Thantos fumed and started to shout out an answer, but was suddenly clubbed from behind by Comrade Terror. Thantos scrambled out of the ring away from Terror's onslaught, leaving the Cygnusian alone in the ring with a clawed hand held aloft as the show faded to black.

Good line up. Love the animosity between the hero and villain camps early. How or will they be able to co exist? Can't wait to see how this all plays out.
