GWF Supernova #7 02.14.2087 from GWF Lunar Arena
- In the Arena - The show opened with GWF Champion - "The Invincible GWF Champion Krakan," as he referred to himself - being interviewed in the ring. "You see, I'm a fighting champion," he said, "and I want to make sure that people know that my reign is going to be marked by nothing but the best in competition. If someone deserves a title shot, they're going to get it.
"Well, last week on Supernova," he continued, "there was a man in this ring that took the GWF Champion to his absolute limits and really showed me what a competitor he truly is." The fans, excited at the apparent reference to Star Warrior, started chanting for the superstar, but Krakan carried on as if he didn't hear them. "That man, of course, is none other than GWF legend, Commander Sam.
"So, because I'm a fighting champion, I've gotten it booked for tonigiht. You're going to get The Invincible GWF Champion Krakan in a title match against Commander Sam, the man that's come closer to beating me than anyone else has." He then finished by adding sarcastically, "Because you, the fans, deserve nothing but the best!"
Thantos vs. Lord Nexus Thantos defeated Lord Nexus with a MASTERLOCK at 2:41 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Thantos had something to prove here, absolutely dismantling Lord Nexus. He grounded the Titan quickly, showing vastly superior mat wrestling skills and never letting Nexus bring his aerial offense into play. After working over his leg most of the match, Thantos locked in the MASTERLOCK to score the submission victory.
- In the Arena - "Give me a mic!" Thantos bellowed from the ring, and his request was quickly answered from a ringside attendant. "This is a warning to everyone in the GWF: what I just did to Nexus, I will do to anyone else who stands in between me and the GWF Championship. Starting with that backstabbing lizard, I'm going to dismantle every single man in that locker room if I have to until that belt is mine again." He tossed the mic down derisively and then slid out to walk towards the back to a chorus of boos.
Neptunian Space-Croppers vs. Ghenghis Khan and Mutant Ghengis Khan defeated Renegade with a disqualification at :34 Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: The match ended quickly thanks to Renegade's temper. Khan back body dropped him to the outside, which tweaked his back. When Khan followed him out, Renegade grabbed a chair and clocked him for the DQ.
Comrade Terror vs. Actagon for the Singularity Championship Actagon defeated Comrade Terror with a GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP at 7:08 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Both competitors appeared evenly matched here, giving the fans a spirited contest. In the end, Actagon pulled off the mild upset after out-brawling Terror outside of the ring and setting up the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP with a reverse piledriver to win the Singularity Championship.
Actagon won the Singularity Championship
- In the Arena - Actagon was given the belt as the referee raised his hand, and he held it high overhead to celebrate. Comrade Terror recovered, and as he did so, Actagon walked over to him and extended a hand to congratulate him on the match. Terror looked down at it to shake it for a moment, and the crowd urged him to do so, but the Cygnusian just slapped Actagon's hand away and then left the ring, leaving the new champion to celebrate with a belt that Terror could never compete for again.
Invincible Krakan vs. Commander Sam for the GWF Championship Invincible Krakan defeated Commander Sam with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 14:21 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Sam came out with something to prove, lighting into Krakan early and nailing him with SAM'S ATOMIC DROP. As he went for the cover, though, a returning Exo-King - recently injured at Sam's hands - ran out and broke up the pin. The referee restored order and kicked Exo-King out, but it gave Krakan a chance to take over with a chair shot on the outside.
He brought Sam back in and nailed a Krakan Skullcrusher which seemed to have the match put away. When he went for the pin, however, Pit Viper - who had been put out by Krakan's henchman, Ghengis Khan - ran out and chased Krakan out of and around the ring until he was also escorted out by security.
Sam took advantage of the time to recover and seemed renewed when Krakan came back in, giving him all he could handle. Krakan was too much for him in the end, though, and while Sam kicked out of three consecutive pinfall attempts, he finally fell prey to the FALLING FACE SLAM.
- In the Arena - Ignoring the ref's attempts to raise his hand for the win, Krakan instead kept laying into Commander Sam with kicks. The crowd's boos turned to excited cheers, however, as Star Warrior ran down to the ring to make the save, sending Krakan scurrying away. He helped Sam to his feet, then got a mic of his own to address the fleeing champion.
"Krakan!" he called out, "You're not the only one that can get a match booked. The GWF Board of Directors thinks that since you're a fighting champion and just like Commander Sam, I kicked you back and forth across the ring last week that I deserve a shot at the GWF Championship. So at the pay-per-view in two weeks, the main event is going to be you and me for the title!" The crowd erupted as Krakan stomped and bellowed in anger at the decision and the broadcast faded out.

GWF Supernova #8 02.21.2087 from Luna Auditorium
Executioner vs. Beast-Rider Executioner defeated Beast-Rider with a count out at 10:32 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Beast-Rider proved to be a match for the Executioner in his return bout, keeping him off-balance from the opening bell and scoring a near fall halfway through after a BULLDOG RIDE. The Executioner shook off the ring rust and recovered, though, taking the fight to the outside and putting Beast-Rider away after a power bomb on the floor while brawling outside left him down for the countout.
Lord Nexus vs. Mutant Lord Nexus defeated Mutant with a TITAN DROP at 4:59 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Lord Nexus dominated a short but tremendously exciting match. The Mutant absorbed a ton of punishment from Lord Nexus but kept kicking out, even managing to get back into the ring after a breathtaking springboard moonsault from the ring to the floor by Lord Nexus. The Titan finally put his opponent away with a huge dropkick off of the turnbuckle followed by a TITAN DROP.
Pit Viper vs. Ghengis Khan Ghengis Khan defeated Pit Viper with a countout at :32 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Khan utterly squashed Pit Viper, no-selling an elbow smash to start the match and then nailing a huge thrust kick to drop him to the mat. As Pit Viper stood, Khan measure out another kick that sent the Titan flying over the top rope and crashing awkwardly to the floor, causing a countout.
- In the Arena - As soon as the bell rang to declare him the victor, Khan was out of the ring to attack Pit Viper. After battering him briefly, Khan stood him up against the ringpost and lined up for another TWIN THRUST, aiming to take him out like he did the first time. Lord Nexus came streaking down like lightning for the save, though, ducking a thrust kick from Khan as he spun and then picking him up on his shoulders and delivering a TITAN DROP that brought Khan crashing against the guardrail. As Khan writhed in agony on the floor, Lord Nexus quickly got under Pit Viper's arm and helped his teammate to the back as medical technicians tended to Khan. (NOTE: Ghengis Khan was injured for two cards and will be medically unavailable to wrestle until GWF Supernova #9.)
Commander Sam, Massif, and Omega vs. Exo-King, Death Knight, and Killer Queen Massif defeated Killer Queen with a VOLCANIC DROP at 8:10 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The match saw a lot of intense action, with the big men for each team, Massif and Exo-King, seeing the bulk of the in-ring time. Exo-King was still somewhat slowed by his injuries, but despite them was able to hold his own against Massif and dominated Commander Sam before tagging in Killer Queen to try to finish him. Sam broke out of CHECKMATE, though, and tagged in Massfi to face one-half of the tag champs.
Killer Queen tried to get the tag, but Massif cut him off and hit him with a huge series of power moves, punctuated by a devastating power slam. The big man went up to the top rope and nailed the VOLCANIC DROP, sending Death Knight running in for the save and leaving Vanity, who had accompanied his partner to ringside, to try to distract the referee. Sam cut off Death Knight, though, and Omega quickly dropped vanity with a Tomahawk Thrust, leaving Massif to score a clean pin on one of the GWF Tag Team Champions leading into the pay-per-view.

Great stuff. I really like the write up's, and it certainly takes me back to when I first cracked open the 2087 set. Interested to see where Comrade Terror goes from here...maybe he can push his way into the Title picture?

GWF II: Fighting Champ 02.23.2087 from GWF Lunar Arena
Proteus vs. Death Knight Proteus defeated Death Knight with an OVERHEAD TOSS at 2:26 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Proteus controlled the math from the opening bell, systematically working Death Knight down until taking the pin after an OVERHEAD TOSS.
Lord Nexus and Pulsar vs. Neptunian Space-Croppers Lord Nexus defeated Beast-Rider with a TITAN DROP at 8:41 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Both teams looked good, with Renegade finally looking fully-recovered from his injuries. The Titans again showed themselves to be in the upper echelons of the GWF tag ranks, though, with their high-flying offense ultimately leading to a win over the Croppers.
- Titan Death Match - Commander Sam vs. Exo-King Exo-King defeated Commander Sam with a flying body crusher at 9:24 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Exo-King started off a little slowly, still not used to in-ring action after his injury, and Sam took advantage early. He couldn't keep the big man down, however, and the match continued, both fighters hitting big, high-impact moves but never being able to score a win. At the match's end, Exo-King put Sam down with his own version of Sam's finisher, then climbed to the top rope and hit a massive flying body crusher to score the pinfall victory.
- In the Arena - As soon as the referee counted three, Exo-King started to assault Sam, throwing kicks to the back of the downed GWF legend. The referee peeled Exo-King off and the cyborg went out of the ring, but not to leave; he came right back in with a chair and started to slam it down into Sam's lower back. The crowd popped as Massif ran down for the save, but as he slid under the ring, Exo-King nailed him with a huge golf-swing chairshot that knocked him right back out before returning his attention to Sam.
Exo-King then applied the DEATH VISE to Sam, working over his lower back with the devastating bear hug. Massif got back up after the chairshot and eventually clubbed Exo-King from behind, sending him fleeing the ring and ending the vicious attack. The damage had been done to Sam, however, who had to be taken from the ring on a stretcher.
(Commander Sam was injured for eight cards and will be medically unavailable to wrestle until GWF Supernova #13.)
Actagon vs. Executioner for the Singularity Championship Actagon defeated Executioner with a GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP at 7:41 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: The Executioner came out strong against Actagon, wearing the ancient Earthling down with power moves. Everything seemed to be going his way, but Actagon dodged a big shoulder block and flattened his opponent with a skullcrusher as they spun around. As the Executioner got up, Actagon got I to position behind him and locked in the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP. The Executioner struggled against the hold for almost thirty seconds before ultimately passing out.
Comrade Terror vs. Thantos Thantos defeated Comrade Terror with a MASTERLOCK at 1:16 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Comrade Terror started off hot, quickly sending Thantos outside after a skullcrusher. As he moved to follow Thantos out, however, the Gamemaster snapped his neck down on the ropes and followed right back in, locking in the MASTERLOCK. With Terror positioned perfectly in the middle of the ring and able to use the ropes for leverage when the referee wasn't looking, the Cygnusian had no choice but to tap out.
- In the Arena - As Terror struggled to his feet, Thantos kicked him in the back of the knee and dropped him to the mat again. "Remember why you're here, lizard!" he yelled down at the fallen Cygnusian. "I am the Gamemaster, and you're here at my whim. Don't you ever forget that!" Thantos put another stomp into Terror's knee and then left the ring, leaving Terror to struggle back by himself.
- Cosmic Cage Match - Wolf vs. Massacre Massacre defeated Wolf with a MASSACRE SLAM at 9:26 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Massacre came out with vengeance on his mind, dropping Wolf with a running elbow shortly after the bell and then following that up with a huge DECAPITATOR. He immediately tried to escape the cage, but Wolf got up and pulled him back in. Massacre went back on the offensive, hitting big move after big move, but despite repeated attempts to escape the cage, Wolf kept managing to get up and pull him back in. Finally, after ramming a bloody Wolf face-first into the cage, he hit the third MASSACREE SLAM of the match, which kept his former teammate down as he climbed up and out of the cage to win.
- In the Arena - Massacre got a chair from outside the ring and then climbed up to the top of the cage. He perched up top as Wolf got to his feet, then Massacre soared off of the top and brought the chair crashing down into Wolf's head with a thunderous chairshot that silenced the crowd. Wolf collapsed to the ground with the chair wrapped around his head, and Massacre thrust his arms up into the air victoriously as his opponent lay in a bloody heap at his feet.
(Wolf was injured for six cards and is medically unavailable to compete until GWF Supernova #12)
Killer Queen and Vanity vs. Omega and Commander Sam for the GWF Tag Team Championship This match ended in a draw (double disqualification) at 15:40 Match Rating: 1.75 Match Notes: With Massif still feeling the effects of the chairshot from Exo-King, Omega started the match. Killer Queen and Vanity immediately worked on isolating him and trying to wear him down for the pin. They nearly had him after a huge moonsault from Killer Queen, but Omega kicked out. Shortly after, he tagged in Massif out of desparation.
The big man came in and cleaned house for a while, but eventually proved unable to keep up with the speed of his opponents. After taking his legs out, Killer Queen locked him in CHECKMATE for more than thirty seconds, but the big man never tapped out. Frustrated, the champions started to double team Massif, leading Omega to run in for the save.
The four men started to brawl in and around the ring, with the fight quickly degenerating. The referee lost control as chairs and other ringside plunder came into play. After letting it go and trying to restore order, he had no choice but to call for the bell, ruling the match a double disqualification.
- In the Arena - Security swarmed out and separated the two teams, with four men holding back Massif to keep him from doing any more damage. Vanity squirmed around in the throng and grabbed the GWF Tag Team Championship belts and then slipped off, with Killer Queen close behind him. Massif fumed over the decision, but Omega merely patted his protege on the shoulder to calm him down, assuring him there would be another time for them.
Invincible Krakan vs. Star Warrior for the GWF Championship Star Warrior defeated Invincible Krakan with a disqualification at 5:18 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Star Warrior literally came out swinging, flooring Krakan with a devastating combo at the bell and getting a nearfall. The action went back and forth quickly several times from there, with neither man getting a decided advantage. Out of nowhere, Star Warrior nailed a Running Star Blast that put Krakan down. He then immediately went up top and hit a huge NOVA LAUNCH that got the crowd on their feet. The Mutant immediately ran in and attacked Star Warrior, though, stomping hm to break the on and pouncing on him and locking in a TEMPLE GRINDER as the referee called for the bell.
- In the Arena - Krakan joined in the attack on Star Warrior, stomping into him as Mutant savagely kept the TEMPLE GRINDER locked in. The attack ended abruptly as the crowd roared, heralding the arrival of Massif as he lumbered down to the ring. Krakan quickly scattered, but the Mutant didn't react quite so quickly; as he stood to accept Massif's challenge, the rookie barreled into him with a massive shoulder block, sending him flying out of the ring. As Star Warrior got to his feet, Krakan had already retrieved the GWF Championship and started back up the ramp, laughing and pointing to his knobbly head as Star Warrior glared at him from the ring.

well, only got two wrong in my prediction, but Krakan retains, so that's the main thing. Pretty stellar card and write up.
