Pyrotechnic display! Whoohoo! Congrats Eek! I know how much you wanted this and how hard you worked for it...I have always considered your fed one of the best on both boards here in the COTG community as it groundbreaking and entertaining to read....except for all them swirly graphics and damn colored print! Now if you would tell everyone the truth about Plethador embarassing Rush at MAYHEM IN MALVERN... ;D Look forward to seeing what you have in store for 2125....once again, congrats cleti!

[glow=red,2,300]Pool B: Animen of Andromeda[/glow] (images of last pool play across the screen...we see Monolith getting ousted by AOM and Rush...We see Paralyze win over Rush by DQ and then Paralyze and AOM has a 5 star thriller...cut to Hype MacLeod in the announce pod...)Hype: Welcome once again fans to the GWF: IntergalactiCup! First, before I get to tonight's card, I must say on behalf of GWF: FUSION, THANK YOU, the fans for making us the Federation of the Quarter 2! We fought hard to earn that distinction and we owe you all big time...now, let's get on to Pool B where the Andromedan battle it out...LET'S GO! [glow=red,2,300]Mantis vs. Panther Warrior[/glow] Match Rating: * * * Match Notes: The rookie Mantis held his own, but just couldn't get it going against the veteran Panther...he went for a RAPTORAL GRASP, but Panther dodged it and hit JUNGLE NIGHTS...Panther then uses Claws of the Cat to score the win. WINNER: PANTHER WARRIOR [glow=red,2,300]Swarm vs. Plethador[/glow] Match Rating: * * * * Match Notes: Plethador looked like he was gonna dehydrate in the early minutes of the match, but as Swarm worked him over, Plethador made a comeback and nearly upset him...finally Plethy did dehydrate, but went for a SUCTION CLAW, only to be countered into VENOMOUS STINGER. WINNER: SWARM Hype: Wow, what great opening matches...Panther and Swarm both with 3 points each, but that's about to change as Panther and Swarm will face off this next round! Let's cut to the back as Scoop Muldoon has caught up with Sly Drury...Scoop: Sly, on the last card we saw Paganax lay out Havoc, what's that all about? Sly: Just a hard lesson to be learned for Havoc, it's no big deal. The Rogue's Gallery keeps getting bigger and better. With the addition of the Heathen Chief, we're unstoppable! Scoop: How'd you sign on the biggest man away from the aCe, and who's next to join the Rougue's Gallery, the galaxy wants to know? Sly (evil grin): All of those questions will be answered in due time...now if you'll excuse me... [glow=red,2,300]Plethador vs. Mantis[/glow] Match Rating: * * * * Match Notes: Great match between the 2 lower-tiered animen. Both men took turns giving each other all they had, and then Plethador gassed again, but was able to nearly pull out the win with SUCTION CLAW. Mantis back and catches him with RAPTORAL GRASP to get the win. WINNER: MANTIS [glow=red,2,300]Swarm vs. Panther Warrior[/glow] Panther Warrior defeated Swarm with a JUNGLE NIGHTS Match Rating: * * * * * Match Notes: WOW! What a match this one was...Panther missed JUNGLE NIGHTS 3 times...Swarm goes for VENOMOUS STINGER and it is countered....Panther catches Swarm coming off the top rope 3 times and then blasts him out of the ring into the steps...Swarm back with a Hornet's Sting and then VENOMOUS STINGER, but Panther kicks out! Panther returns the favor and then hits JUNGLE NIGHTS to seal the deal! WINNER: PANTHER WARRIOR ("Sick Bubblegum" by Rob Zombie rips over the PA as we cut to Hype in the GWF: INFUSION PPV control room...)Hype: What a thriller we just witnessed between Swarm and Panther Warrior...Fans, our first PPV of the new year in 2125 is GWF: INFUSION, live from the Callistro Centroplex on Jupiter...it's presented by our good friends at Amish Wireless. The winner of the I-Cup will face the Galactic champion Monolith! More matches TBA as things progress, but be sure to get your tickets early, you won't want to miss this! [glow=red,2,300]Panther Warrior vs. Plethador[/glow] Match Rating: * * * * Match Notes: If Plethador wasn't amphibian, he'd be a possum! Panther was tooling him left and right, and most of the match Plethador didn't get a lick in, then after JUNGLE NIGHTS, Plethador rolls thru into a pin of his own! Panther powered out and then hit JUNGLE NIGHTS twice more to score the win and take first place in the pool. WINNER:PANTHER WARRIOR [glow=red,2,300]Swarm vs. Mantis[/glow] Match Rating: * * * * Match Notes: Great match between father and son...Swarm worked Mantis over hard, showing him just how tough the GWF is...he hit 2 Hornet's Stings in a row, followed by 2 VENOMOUS STINGERS...Mantis hung in there, but it was too much and the rookie tapped to WASP TRAP. WINNER: SWARM Hype: Another pool in the Cup done, as Panther Warrior wins the pool after beating Plethador...LOL...Plethador..pool...Swarm pulls off second...both men will make the Tournament of 8...Catch us back here for more action from Corvus as the FDF fight it out in Pool C. Goodnight everybody and thanks for tuning in! (cut to the back as we see Monolith and Drury having words) Sly: You can't quit the Rogue's Gallery, I need you! Monolith: Too late, Drury...Monolith not feel welcome...I QUIT! (He face palms Drury away and begins to walk off) Sly: Where are you going? You can't leave...no one wants you on their team...MONOLITH! Monolith, come back! Monolith (turns back around): Paganax, Bishop Hell and that sparkly little vampire, they will all FEEL..THE..TERROR! AARRGH!

I've got to learn to not to bet against AOM. He really pulls off the wins. I did pick Paralyze to place second, though it would have been interesting to see what would have happened if he had gotten a clean win over Rush. I love Paralyze and he deserves a singles run for sure.
Looking forward to more of this.

[glow=red,2,300]POOL C: FDF[/glow] (recap of the last 2 pools are shown...images of Paralyze and AOM's epic battle shown, plus Swarm and Panther Warrior's match...cut to the announce pod to Hype MacLeod) Hype: Helloooo wrestling fans, and welcome to the continuation of the IntergalactiCup as we're broadcasting live from Corvus! Tonight you'll witness the FDF go at it with 2 men making it out and into the final tournament...the new year is upon us and we can hardly wait...LET'S GO! [glow=red,2,300]Endgame vs. Pride[/glow] Match Rating: * * * Match Notes: What a match...Pride stuck it to Endgame and never relented...He hit 3 Blue Chip Clotheslines then Pride and Glory for a near fall...PATRIOT MISSILE and then another Pride and Glory! Endgame had a little spurt of offense, but it didn't last as Pride regained control and hit a PUMP HANDLE SLAM to knock off the leader of the FDF. WINNER: PRIDE Hype: Wow, Pride opens up the Pool with a HUGE win over Endgame, and a convincing one at that...(just then the arena springs to life as all heads point towards the tron:
[glow=red,2,300]Ensor vs. Tauran[/glow] Match Rating: * Match Notes: Tauran was blasting Ensor, hit him with a LEG HOOK PILEDRIVER very early, then went for the VICTORY LOCK, but Ensor countered and hit THARSIS ERUPTION for the win! WINNER: ENSOR
(Scoop catches up with Havoc)
Scoop: Havoc, can I get a word with you? The galaxy is wondering what's going on...one minute you're shaking hands with Sly Drury, the next minute you're getting punked by his new main man, Paganax...what gives?
Havoc: It's complicated...never trust anyone. That's all I have to say about that...nothing is what it seems.
(with that, Havoc walks off, leaving Scoop Muldoon with a puzzled look on his face)
[glow=red,2,300]Pride vs. Tauran[/glow] Match Rating: * * * * * Match Notes: This one was a classic...back and forth, in and out of the ring...it got nasty with chair shots, into the step and ring post...back in Pride hit a total of 4 Pride and Glory moves...Tauran bounces back and nearly catches a submission with VICTORY LOCK, but Pride to the ropes...Pride back with PATRIOT MISSILE, then PUMP HANDLE SLAM to continue his roll. WINNER: PRIDE
[glow=red,2,300]Endgame vs. Ensor[/glow] Match Rating: * Match Notes: Another shocker here as Ensor keeps Endgame off his feet by hitting a THARSIS ERUPTION early, then catching Endgame off the top rope with a crossbody for a near fall...THARSIS ERUPTION again and Endgame is stunned. WINNER: ENSOR
(Swarm and Panther Warrior are seen talking)
Swarm: Dude, congrats last week on winning the pool...if I had to lose to someone, it'd be you.
Panther: At least us 2 animen are in the finals....that's what matters.
Swarm: REPRESENT! (fist bump)
(just then 2 aliens appear on either side of the animen and some tongue is heard...then they begin brawling...Swarm and Panther not sure what to make of it...security in to break it up...something is heard about INFINITY CHALLENGE in 2125...)
Swarm (to Panther): Since when did the GWF get illegal aliens?
Panther (laughs): Not since Mutant or that Neily guy.
[glow=red,2,300]Ensor vs. Pride[/glow] Match Rating: * * * * * Match Notes: Excellent match up here...Ensor was banging up Pride big time and nearly got the win with THARSIS ERUPTION, but Pride came back with some offense of his own as he nailed 2 Pride and Glory moves, then a PATRIOT MISSILE...Ensor would bounce back and hit a couple Elbow Hammers and then a couple 450 Splashes...THARSIS ERUPTION and it is all over! Ensor wins the pool and Pride locks up 2nd as no one can match it. WINNER: ENSOR
[glow=red,2,300]Endgame vs. Tauran[/glow] Match Rating: * Match Notes: These 2 were going at it back and forth, nothing but pride on the line here as both men are out of the competition...then Tauran tosses Endgame to the floor and follows him...they trade some shots, then Anivar appears and slams Endgame into the ring steps head first...Tauran is sent into the guard rails...Anivar waffles Endgame in the head with a chair shot, then cracks Tauran across the back twice before exiting thru the crowd as security heads towards him WINNER: NO CONTEST
Hype: HOLY TOLEDO! Anivar hasn't been seen for some time and now he's back destroying his former teammates! 2 alien freaks are here and no one is sure why...and some mysterious news on this INFINITY CHALLENGE...things are already heating up and the new year isn't even here quite yet! Fans, we're out of time, join us back here next time as Pool D takes place from Centra!
