First, I apologize if a thread was already started on this The recent threads about theme music have me thinking about this again...I know it doesn't happen often Just curious what theme songs everyone envisioned the GWF wrestlers of the past coming out to Some wrestlers I had themes for years ago (when I was kid) that I still envision for them today. Others, I never really had a good theme for until recently. Anyways... Just some that I can think of without my full notes (used the web to get full info ): Thantos (when I was a kid)- "Also Sprach Zarathrusta" (Ric Flair's theme) Thantos (currently) - "The Game" by Motorhead (Triple H's theme) Star Warrior (when I was a kid) - "Sirius" by Alan Parsons (Rick Steamboat's theme) Star Warrior (currently) - "Hero" by Nickelback Commander Sam - either - "Born in the U.S.A." by Bruce Springsteen or "Real American" by Rick Derringer (Hulk Hogan's and others' theme) Wolf - "Primal Scream" by Motley Crue The Gladiators - "Gears of War" by Megadeath Exo-King - "The Great Gates of Kiev" (Harley Race's theme as "The King") Bishop Hell - "Hells Bells" by AC/DC Heracles (heel) - "Pure Power" (Hercules Hernandez's theme) Thunder - "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC Vanity - "Sexy Boy" (Shawn Michael's theme) Of course with Vanity's voice and a more comical version that the fans despise Mr. Galaxy - "Striptease" (Rick Rude's theme) For awhile he came out and berated the men in the audience like Rude in my fed. Just wondering what everyone uses or thinks of in terms of wrestler entrance themes

Here's my list from the old board. Most I thought of myself but some were ideas from other promoters. I see we use a lot of the same ones for the same wrestlers.
K.O. Keller: "Rocky" Theme (Gonna Fly Now) by Bill Conti
Santon: I originally used "Eyes Of A Stranger" by Queensryche because you can only see his eyes through his mask, but then I think since he's a mute that he should have a lyric-less theme, so now I use the Sid Vicious' final WCW run music.
Screw: "The Sounds Of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel (because he can't talk). I picture a darkened arena with the opening playing. Then, when the drums hit, Screw appears in a spotlight and the place goes nuts, singing along and pumping their fists.
Paladin Power: "We Will Rock You" (Fatboy Slim Remix) by Queen. It has a very futuristic feel to it.
Morpheus: Ric Flair's Theme Music or Imperial March from Star Wars
Cosmos rookie card: "Last Resort" by Papa Roach
Dorado Sundown: "Midnight Rider" by the Allman Bros., "Wanted Dead Or Alive" (Rock Remix, from their "This Left Turns Right" album) by Bon Jovi, or the Dukes Of Hazzard theme song by Waylon Jennings
Mensans: "Them Bones" by Alice In Chains
Jack Hood: Kane Theme Music
Defiance: "Smokin' In The Boys Room" by Motley Crue
Blood (after Jammer retires): "Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent
Commander Sam: "Born In The USA" by Bruce Springsteen, or Kurt Angle's theme (because many people do thing that he sucks, and would chant along).
Big Superstar: "Real American", obviously
CrossCurrents: "Where The River Flows" by Collective Soul
Torin Caelum: Bret Hart's Theme Music
GameMasters (pre-2087): "Star Wars" Theme
DragonFighter: Tajiri's Theme Music
Wolf: "Bark At The Moon" by Ozzy Osbourne or “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses
Gladiators: "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath (since they're takeoffs on the Road Warriors)
Mimic: "Sirius" by Alan Parsons Project
Mangus: "Voodoo" by Godsmack
Omega: Florida State Fight Song (picture the crowd doing the tomahawk chop)
Hechilles: "Subdivisions" by Rush
Caiman: "Swamped" by Lacuna Coil
Wind Riders: Hardy Boyz Theme
Vice: “Down With The Sickness” by Disturbed
Rock Solid: Chris Masters’ Theme (WWE). During the first part (when Masters is posing) I picture Prince doing some "royalty poses" and then, when the "walking" music starts, Screw comes out behind him and they slowly march down to the ring ready to take care of bidness.
Now here's a few for the modern GWF era...
Star Warrior: "Hero" by Foo Fighters, "Hero" by Chad Kroeger & Josey Scott (from Spider Man 1), “Final Countdown” by Europe, or Maven’s Theme (WWE)
Thantos: "Sad But True" by Metallica Memser: "Enter Sandman" or "I Disappear" by Metallica
Battering Ram: Rhyno's Theme Music (WWE)
Matador of M83: "I Am The Bullgod" by Kid Rock
Bishop Hell: "Burn In Hell" by Twisted Sister, "Hells Bells" by AC/DC, or "Hellraiser" by Ozzy Osbourne
Billy Jo Boxer: "Mama Said Knock You Out" by LL Cool J
U.S. Patriot (as a face): see Commander Sam
U.S. Patriot (as a heel): "Star Spangled Banner" by Jimi Hendrix (from Woodstock '69)
Vanity: "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" by Rod Stewart, "Supermodel" by RuPaul, or "Sexy Boy" (Shawn Michaels Theme Music)
Killer Queen: "Killer Queen" by Queen or "Poison" by Alice Cooper (since AC digs KQ)
Renegade: "Renegade" by Styx
Bounty Hunter: "Wanted Dead Or Alive" (Rock Remix) by Bon Jovi
Mercenaries: "Click Click Boom" by Saliva
Destruction 3000 or anyone who's been Transvolved: "Who Made Who" by AC/DC
Nightmare: "Welcome To My Nightmare" by Alice Cooper
Chaos: “Down With The Sickness” by Disturbed, “Walk” by Pantera, or Brock Lesnar Theme
Thunder: "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC
J.J. Smooth: "Smooth Operator" by Sade or "Smooth Criminal" by Michael Jackson
Iron Mane: “Cat Scratch Fever” by Ted Nugent
Wildcat: "Eye Of The Tiger" by Survivor or “Cat Scratch Fever” by Ted Nugent
Mad Jester: typical circus theme
Mad Jester Clone: "Clones" by Alice Cooper
Ms. Liberty: "American Girl" by Tom Petty
Brainstorm: see Vanity, or Val Venis Theme Music (WWE)
Metalhead/Sleeze: "Bang Your Head (Mental Health)” by Quiet Riot
Euritar: “Numb” by Linkin Park
Monolith: Brock Lesnar Theme
Death’s Head: Undertaker Theme (Funeral March)
Cycle Hog: “Bad To The Bone” by George Thorogood
ANYONE with mostly robotic parts: "Mr. Roboto" by Styx
ANY alien: "Zombie Stomp" by Ozzy Osbourne
ANY woman: “Bring Me To Life” by Evanescence, "Celebrity Skin" by Hole, "Dirty" by Christina Aguilera, or “All The Things She Said” by Tatu
ANY face woman: "Hollaback Girl" by Gwen Stefani
ANY heel woman: "Don't Cha" by Pussycat Dolls or "Short Short Man" by 20 Fingers
ANY “easy” woman (like Lita): “Shake That A**” by Eminem
ANY Savage Kingdom member (particularly Karah The Jungle Lad): “Tarzan Boy” by Baltimora
Now these other songs aren't specifically for any certain wrestler, but I think they could make good theme songs for certain types of wrestlers.

I think of and use a lot of the ones previously mentioned, but here are a few I use that are a bit different:
Count Necros (or any other mystical/supernatural evil type character) - I use the "Mantis' Hymn" from Metal Gear Solid
for PPVs/Supercards - old school WWF PPV production music
Bishop Hell - Mortis' theme from WCW - "Satans Sanctuary" i think its called
This one may get a lot of people scratching their heads, but if you just listen to it I think it works great (even though I have not brought him in yet): Iron Hand - William Regals music when he was RAW GM

Man, I wish I could remember more of ours, but it has been 12 years. Ha.
We actually "wrote" a lot of our own music which was always fun, but the best music we used had to be for the tag team of Vanity and Killer Queen whose team was actually named after their music: Modern Love by David Bowie.

I just stumbled on this and thought it would be perfect for Tricks. Midnight Midway by a composer named Michael Hedstrom. cdbaby.com/cd/hedstrom2The tracks are on the left with a little preview of the sound.

Since it was just used at WrestleMania 25, I think "War Machine" by AC/DC would be good for Destruction 3000 or anyone with a lot of robotic parts.
