ECW on TNN (Card #8):
Highlights of Mike Awesome defeating New Jack in last week's main event were shown as the show opened.
Joey Styles: "Hello everyone...and welllllcome to ECW on the only network that does not have indoor plumbing--TNN! I'm Joey Styles.."
Joel Gertner: "And well...well...well... put those floppy disks away, here comes the man with the biggest hard drive in professional wrestling ... Joel 'I've got more RAM than you can handle' Gertner"
Steve Corino (on the phone): "Come on, guys...why do I have to face New Jack? What did I do? I'm the guy bringing in the ratings around here and you want to endanger my life like this!? What do you mean I brought this on myself? Hello? HELLO?! Oh no..no...oh man."
1.) Jerry Lynn vs. Chris Candido went to a time limit draw. The two shook hands after the match, and Lynn challenged Candido to a rematch at Guilty as Charged and Candido accepted.
In three weeks; the most insane, the most severe, the most extreme form of sports entertainment legal in the United States today returns to Pay-Per-View with Guilty as Charged! Witness the ECW World Champion Taz defend his championship against Shane Douglas and the rivalry between Rob Van Dam and Sabu heats up yet again over the Television Championship!
2.) Lance Storm beat John Kronus with a superkick after Justin Credible used the Singapore cane. Perry Saturn was at ringside but was taken out by Justin Credible.
LATE-BREAKING NEWS: From the office of ECW's Executive Producer Paul Heyman, the match between Mike Awesome and Masato Tanaka at Guilty as Charged will be to determine who challenges for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship at Hardcore Heaven!
3.) Tommy Dreamer beat Al Snow with the Spicolli Driver. The lights went out after the match, and when they came back on, Tommy Dreamer was face-to-face with Raven!
A short video recaps the build to Taz vs. Shane Douglas at Guilty as Charged before we see Shane Douglas in his locker room with Francine, Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch.
Shane Douglas: "Did I hear you correctly, Taz? Bring anyone I want to the ring at Guilty as Charged? That's an invitation that I'm damn sure going to take you up on. You have walked around here falsely billing yourself as the ECW World Heavyweight Champion, which is something I don't appreciate since I'm the one who made this company what it is. I'm the reason people are watching this show right now, not you. I'm the [censored] Franchise! And come Guilty as Charged, I will take what is rightfully mine, ain't that right, Bammer?"
The camera pans to Bam Bam Bigelow and Douglas laughs as the show comes to a close.

Shane better watch out, because Bam Bam was not the best Triple Threat member to have once Rude got in his ear

ECW on TNN (Card #9):
Joey Styles: "Hello everyone...and welllllcome to ECW on the only network that would dare broadcast a sport as stupid as Rollerjam--TNN! I'm Joey Styles.."
Joel Gertner: "And there's me, Joel 'The biggest ladykiller in Buffalo since O.J. Simpson' Gertner."
Joey Styles: "At this time, I'd like to welcome our guest who is the ECW World Television Champion...Rob Van Dam!"
RVD walks out with Fonzie in tow to a huge reaction from the crowd.
Joey Styles: "Rob, the floor's yours."
Rob Van Dam: "Thank you, Joey. You see in two nights at Guilty as Charged I'm taking on a guy I know an awful lot about in a defense of my Television Championship. Of course, I'm talking about Sabu. You know, it's kind of funny after all this time, I've beaten you, you've beaten me, we've got to time limit draws...that this still isn't resolved between you and I, Sabu. Guilty as Charged, we both know it won't be the end, there will probably never really be an end, will there, Sabu? One thing I can guarantee is on Sunday night, we're gonna give these people what they [censored] paid to see and that's a Pay-Per-View main event match! Like I said, it'll never be done between you and me, Sabu, but we both know that on Sunday night, I'm still going to be Mr. Pay-Per-View, I'm still gonna be the Whole [censored] Show, and I'm still gonna be ECW World Television Champion."
1.) Justin Credible beat 2 Cold Scorpio with That's Incredible. Kronus attacked Credible with a chair after the match and got out of the way when Lance Storm attempted a save.
Steve Corino is shown walking backstage. He's paranoid, looking all around him to the point he spins himself dizzy. He turns around and sees something he thinks is New Jack and he attacks it. As it turns out, it's a lamp post. New Jack shows up, and Corino turns around and runs away from New Jack. New Jack looks into the camera and smiles before we go to commercial break.
This Sunday night, the most insane, the most severe, the most extreme form of sports entertainment legal in the United States today returns to Pay-Per-View with Guilty as Charged! Witness the ECW World Champion Taz defend his championship against Shane Douglas and the rivalry between Rob Van Dam and Sabu heats up yet again over the Television Championship!
2.) Super Crazy beat Little Guido and Yoshihiro Tajiri, last eliminating Guido with a moonsault after Tajiri sprayed mist in his face. A brawl between the FBI and Tajiri and Whipwreck erupted after the match while Rhino attacked Super Crazy, goring him through a table.
3.) Taz beat Steve Corino with the Tazmission, the Triple Threat of Douglas, Bigelow and Candido attacked him after the match.
Steve Corino: "You people all witnessed it, I was viciously assaulted by New Jack tonight! Oh, I can't believe this is happening to me? WHAT DID I DO? Somebody PLEASE tell me...Someone...."
Lance Storm: "Kronus, you think what you did has changed anything about the Tag Championship match at Guilty as Charged on Sunday? Well it hasn't. Justin is cleared to compete, unlike your partner Saturn. I doubt he'll even show up, which leaves you on one leg against the greatest athlete in this sport today and Justin Credible. Get ready to kiss those titles goodbye, because I'm going to bring them back to the wrestling capitol of the world--Calgary...Alberta, Canada."
Masato Tanaka: "Mike Awesome, Sunday night I'm going to beat you and then I will become the ECW Champion!"
Sinister Minister: "So the FBI want to tangle with my Unholy Alliance. Well, if you think you stand a chance against these two, you may as well reserve your spot in the depths of hell itself because at Guilty as Charged it's going to be a Full Blooded Massacre!"
Taz: "You wanna bring Bam Bam to the ring, Shane? You wanna bring [censored] Bam Bam Bigelow? I don't give a [censored] who you bring, you sorry son of a [censored]. It doesn't matter to me, Shane. I don't give a damn, because I'm gonna choke you out because I'm the [censored] ECW World Heavyweight Champion. BEAT ME IF YOU CAN, SHANE. SURVIVE....IF I LET YOU."

The last two cards were really good. The build to GAC was excellent and I can't wait to read the show. If I were Douglas, I wouldn't trust Bam Bam. Also interested to see where Dreamer and Raven is headed.

Card #10, "Guilty as Charged"; Ft. Lauderdale War Memorial Coliseum:
Joey Styles: "Hello everyone and welcome to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida's War Memorial Coliseum! And in a company where nobody is innocent, we are all Guilty as Charged! I'm Joey Styles..."
Joel Gertner: "And well...well...well. Well, well, well if you got an hour, I've got the power for I am the Quintessential Studmuffin, Joel 'Just like the Rubix Cube, the more you play with it, the harder it gets' Gertner"
1.) "The New F'N Show" Jerry Lynn vs. Chris Candido (w/Tammy Sytch) - Much like their match on ECW on TNN, this was an excellent technical match. Lynn was in the driver's seat until Sytch got on the apron, distracting Lynn and the referee. Candido would kick Lynn low and roll him up to gain the victory, showing that the handshake on ECW on TNN was nothing more than a transparent gesture.
2.) Rhino vs. Super Crazy - Rhino did just what he had promised to do in the weeks leading up to this show as he dominated Super Crazy, smashing Crazy with everything at ringside that wasn't nailed down, including several chairs and even one of the cameras. Rhino would Gore him only to have Super Crazy kick out at two. Rhino set up a table and Gored Crazy through it to give the Rookie Monster the win.
3.) ECW World Tag Team Championship: The Eliminators [Perry Saturn & John Kronus] (ch) vs. The Impact Players [Lance Storm & Justin Credible] - Kronus didn't have to go it alone, as even with a cast on his arm, Saturn showed up to fight. Saturn would end up being taken out early by Lance Storm and Credible, leaving only a one legged Kronus to attempt to retain the titles. This match was short, but brutal, as the Impact Players picked apart the injured leg of Kronus with cane shots and the Calgary Crab. Kronus finally submitted, and we had new Tag Team Champions.
4.) Steve Corino vs. New Jack - "Natural Born Killaz" played throughout the match, as per usual with New Jack's matches, but Corino had several surprises up his sleeve. First, he tried out wrestling New Jack...which worked, but Corino abandoned that for a more hardcore approach, which began to fail miserably. Once Jack brought out the staplegun, it seemed like it was all over for Corino, but Corino had a backup plan. Rhino rushed the ring, attacking New Jack and beating him violently with every weapon that Jack brought to the ring before Goring Jack through a table to give Corino the victory.
5.) Mike Awesome vs. Masato Tanaka - As you can imagine, this was a very physical, very brutal match. They started off almost immediately going to the direct chair shots to the head. Awesome tore into Tanaka, only to see Tanaka start making a major comeback until Awesome blasted Tanaka with a chair and bombed him to the outside through a table. Awesome wouldn't stop there as he brought Tanaka back into the ring and hit him with another Awesome Bomb, this time following up with a pin which Tanaka kicked out of at the count of one. Tanaka hit a Tornado DDT onto a pile of chairs and through a table, only for Awesome to kick out. The fans were chanting "This is awesome" as Mike hit a super Awesome Bomb through a table to put Tanaka away, and to net himself an ECW World Heavyweight Championship match at Hardcore Heaven.
6.) The FBI [Little Guido Maritato & Tony Mamaluke] (w/Sal E. Graziano) vs. The Unholy Alliance [Mikey Whipwreck & Yoshihiro Tajiri] (w/Sinister Minister) - A lightning fast match, showcasing four of the best wrestlers in ECW. Big Sal would be the difference maker on more than one occasion, helping the FBI gain the victory after a choke slam on Whipwreck.
7.) ECW World Television Championship: "The Whole F'N Show" Rob Van Dam (ch) vs. Sabu - These two did not wait for the bell, Sabu attacked Van Dam during his entrance and what would follow was one of the wildest matches of the night. Sabu bombed chair after chair at Van Dam early on, getting near falls consistently but becoming frustrated when he didn't win the match. This lead to Sabu bringing out a table which wouldn't be used until much later in the match. Van Dam recovered and hit a Van Daminator for a quick near fall. This lead to an early Five Star Frog Splash, which Sabu kicked out of. Bill Alfonzo was at ringside, but got chased off by Sabu after Fonzie interfered while Sabu had RVD in a camel clutch. Sabu hit a triple jump moonsault, but RVD kicked out. The match went into the crowd, where Van Dam threw a chair to Sabu and then booted it into his face. As the match got back to the ring, it seemed like RVD had it won but just as he hit the Five Star Frog Splash, the time limit expired. The fans booed as Van Dam begged for five more minutes and at the discretion of Paul Heyman, RVD would get his five minutes. Sabu bullrushed Van Dam, but was put onto the apron. RVD threw a chair to Sabu, and hit another Van Daminator, sending Sabu crashing through the table on the floor. Van Dam hit a dive, rolled Sabu back into the ring and hit a third Five Star Frog Splash to retain the Television Championship.
8.) The Dudley Boyz [D-Von Dudley & Buh Buh Ray Dudley] vs. The Hardcore, Chair Swingin' Freaks [Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney] - This match wouldn't last long as both teams were brawling and were attacked by The Impact Players. Lance Storm pushed Mahoney and Buh Buh from the bleachers through several tables below, and Credible caned Rotten and D-Von until neither man could stand, forcing this match to be ruled a no contest.
9.) ECW World Heavyweight Championship: "The Human Suplex Machine" Taz (ch) vs. "The Franchise" Shane Douglas (w/Francine & Bam Bam Bigelow) - With the odds stacked against him, Taz went into this match with Shane Douglas looking to prove a point. Bigelow attempted to intervene early on, but Taz temporarily neutralized the threat, blasting Bigelow with a chair and knocking him into the crowd. Douglas took advantage shortly after, controlling a chunk of the match but was unable to actually get a pinfall attempt set up. Taz started to fight back after a Belly to Belly Tazplex, and Bigelow rushed the ring. As Bam Bam set up Taz for Greetings From Asbury Park, Taz locked in a Tazmission, choking Bigelow until he dropped to the mat, unconscious. Douglas blasted Taz with the ECW World Championship and pinned him for a two count. Douglas argued with the ref, which allowed Taz to recover and hit a Tazplex which Taz followed up with the Tazmission to get the win and retain the ECW World Heavyweight Championship.

Really good show here. It lived up to all the hype. The Impact Players keep rolling on as they got a nice win to become the champs. I liked their attack in the other tag match as well. Mike Awesome defeated Tanaka in what sounded like a hell of a match. RVD and Sabu alos sounded great. I wish Sabu would have won though. Taz remains champ which is fine in my book.

Card #11 (House Show):
Shane Douglas opened the show with a promo, saying he was going to become the ECW World Heavyweight Champion, even if it was the last thing he ever did. This brought out Mikey Whipwreck, who started a brawl, leading to...
1.) Mikey Whipwreck (w/The Sinister Minister) beat Shane Douglas with the Whippersnapper.
2.) The FBI [Tony Mamaluke & Tracy Smothers] (w/Big Sal E. Graziano) beat Super Crazy & 2 Cold Scorpio when Mamaluke pinned Scorpio after a chokeslam from Graziano.
3.) Masato Tanaka beat Danny Doring with the Roaring Elbow.
4.) Yoshihiro Tajiri (w/Mikey Whipwreck & The Sinister Minister) beat Little Guido Maritato (w/Big Sal E. Graziano & Tony Mamaluke) with a brainbuster.
5.) Mike Awesome beat Axl Rotten with an Awesome Bomb through a table.
6.) Lance Storm beat Balls Mahoney with the Superkick. The Dudleys attacked Storm after the match but Justin Credible made the save, leading to a huge brawl between the two teams.
7.) "The Whole F'N Show" Rob Van Dam & Chris Candido beat "The New F'N Show" Jerry Lynn & Sabu when Candido used the Blonde Bomb on Sabu.
8.) ECW World Heavyweight Championship: "The Human Suplex Machine" Taz (ch) beat Little Spike Dudley with the Tazmission. Shane Douglas attacked Taz after the match but was run off. Mike Awesome attacked Taz after, putting Taz through a table with an Awesome Bomb and following up with an Awesome Splash.

This has a nice, authentic flow to it; now we need to get official cards of a LOT of these guys and I'll be real happy (and yes, I would use Mike Awesome in this incarnation, NOT "The Fat Chick Thriller" or "That 70s Guy").

ECW on TNN (Card #12):
Highlights of the Guilty as Charged Pay-Per-View are shown, highlighting Taz and Rob Van Dam's successful defenses of their championships as well as the Impact Players becoming the new ECW World Tag Team Champions.
Joey Styles: "Hello everyone...and welllllcome to ECW on the network where the only qualification to become an executive is that you've fathered a child with a first cousin--TNN! I'm Joey Styles.."
Joel Gertner: "And well, well, well. It is I, the Quintessential Studmuffin; Joel 'Harder than the tree that hit Sonny Bono' Gertner"
Joey Styles: "And tonight in our main event, 'The New F'N Show' Jerry Lynn will get another crack at the man who beat him at Guilty as Charged, Mr. 'No Gimmicks Needed' Chris Candido!"
Joel Gertner: "And with Chris Candido, comes the pleasure, and I do mean pleasure, of seeing Tammy Sytch!"
Joey Styles: "Do you mind, we're on network television!"
Joel Gertner: "Who gives a f--"
Gertner's mic is cut and we hear a voice over the speakers saying, "Wait a second, wait a second." The person steps out from behind the curtain, revealing himself as Cyrus!
Cyrus: "Excuse me, Joel, but I've put up with these sleazy promos of yours for long enough, and quite frankly so has the Network. So why don't you get your fat ass out of the ring, and let a real color commentator take the reigns of this show?"
Joel Gertner: "How about you go back to your hobby of [censored] every pig in the state of Pennsylvania?!"
Cyrus: "Alright, enough of this. Go, go to black. Cut! Cut!"
For those of you who missed Guilty as Charged, it's not too early to order the replay on your local cable or satellite provider! Witness one of the greatest matches in ECW history as Sabu did battle with Rob Van Dam for the ECW World Television Championship, and the main event everyone is talking about as Taz fought the Franchise with Bam Bam Bigelow in his corner!
1.) Rhino (w/Steve Corino) beat The Sandman with a Gore. New Jack attacked Rhino and Corino after the match and as Corino and Rhino got the upper hand, the lights went out. When the lights came back on, Sabu was in the ring alongside New Jack and we cut to commercial break.
A video recaps Mike Awesome's brutal attack on Taz at a recent house show after Taz successfully defended the ECW World Heavyweight Championship against Little Spike Dudley.
Judge Jeff Jones: "Take a look at the man standing next to me. Six foot six of the most awesome athlete in the world today. Two hundred, ninety five pounds of the biggest giant of them all. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the next ECW World Heavyweight Champion--Mike Awesome!"
Mike Awesome: "Taz! I'm gonna kick your ass at Hardcore Heaven, and I'm gonna take the ECW World Heavyweight Championship...'cause I'm Awesome!"
2.) Mike Awesome beat "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer with an Awesome Bomb through a table after Raven provided a distraction.
Rob Van Dam: "So I'm feeling a little lacking when it comes to competition around here. I mean, I've beaten everyone they've put in front of me, who's left? Do you know, Fonzie? Me either. So how about this, I'm issuing a challenge to only the best wrestlers in the world. If you think you have what it takes, come to ECW and try to take this Television Championship from me; Mr. Pay-Per-View...Rob Van Dam."
3.) "The New F'N Show" Jerry Lynn beat Chris Candido (w/Tammy Sytch) with the Cradle Piledriver.
Tommy Dreamer: "Raven, I'm sick of this. No matter how long we fight each other, there's no end in sight. I can't do this anymore. I don't want this to end, Raven...I NEED it to end. And I'll bring an end to it, because we're bound by something stronger than love, or blood. We're bound by hate. I hate you, and I will be the end of you...even if it means the end of me."
Card #20, "Hardcore Heaven"; The ECW Arena: ECW World Heavyweight Championship: "The Human Suplex Machine" Taz (ch) vs. Mike Awesome
