What a Great game and the New York Giants take another Trophy away from the Pats. I have to say that was the best Super Bowl since these two teams last Super Bowl showdown, SOLID win for the Giants and a SOLID game to end the 2011 NFL Season...

hard to comprehend the giants have two championships by winning 9 or 10 a year. i was kind of pulling for the patriots for no other reason than i'm gonna have to hear nonsense tomorrow on espn like 'is Brady done? is Brady's legacy tarnished?"

Steelers-Cardinals was better. Great game, glad NE didn't catch that last hail mary.

A close game is better then a one sided win any day.

hard to comprehend the giants have two championships by winning 9 or 10 a year. They didn't. This year the Giants won 13 games. The playoffs count towards your overall record. That's why we have the wildcard. I look at it this way - once the playoffs start, all the teams are 0-0. So what they did in the regular season doesn't matter too much. Only for who gets homefield. It was a great game and congrats to the Giants. You've gotta put Eli up there with the all time great playoff QBs. I think Eli gets a bad rap because he so hum-drum in his interviews but I like that about him. I was pulling for the Pats but it was definitely a good, defensive game. Came down to the final play and as a fan, you can't ask for more.

I agree that the Playoff's are truly a Second Season and every team starts at 0-0 once the Playoff's begin... I didn't care about how Eli ended up with the Giants, but I'm glad that he has won Two Super Bowls and has proven he is a Top QB for sure... The Patriots I thought had the best game, but the Star Players on the Giants stepped up and helped them secure the Victory. No doubt the Two best teams went toe-to-toe in a very Entertaining game...

And the best part of it all?
Dream Teams: Vince Young 1 David Carr 0.
Super Bowl Rings: David Carr 1 Vince Young 0.
Up yours, Sports Radio 610.

If that's where you're finding joy, I think I need to get in touch with your pharmacist.. Vince Young had nothing to do with the Eagles failure. David Carr had nothing to do with the Giants success. Yes, It was a stupid statement by Young. Doesn't make this statement anymore valid.

See, you're not from the Houston area, didn't have to listen to the talk radio there act like Vince Young could have taken those Texans teams to the playoffs.
Those teams Carr played on were horrible. His best ever running back was Ron Dayne. Post Denver Broncos Ron Dayne. Andre Johnson was the only receiver he had. Before AJ came along, David Carr's go-to receiver was named Jabar Gaffney.
Yet Sports Radio 610 and Houston fans laid all the blame on Carr and acted as if Vince Young would have been the savior of the Texans.
Now they are both backups in the NFC East.
My comment was meant as an illustration at just how stupid sports radio personalities and fans can be.

I thought it was an exciting game. I'm happy for Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin. I like them both a lot. I'm happy for Mario Manningham, a MI guy. I admire the Giants defense (very similar to how the Lions play). They deserved the win.
I feel bad for Tom Brady. Dropped passes killed that last drive. I admire Wes Welker to owning up to that huge drop. With that said I think the Pats are back in it next year with a chance to redeem themselves.
Most importantly, no referee F ups. Gotta give whoever the officiating crew was some credit after so many questionable calls all season long.
