Lucas "Mr Beefy" Morris, 24 years old and hail from Mary's Home, Missouri...yes the name of the town is Mary's Home. It's a small rural, predominately Catholic town with less than a 100 people in it, even though there are alot of people surrounding it.
I graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia, or Mizzou with a BA in Psychology, and a Minor in Sociology. I have worked in two Psychology research labs, one being Dr. Laura King's Personality lab, and Dr. Denis McCarthy's Alcohol Cognitions lab (if you can stand reading research papers they have some interesting work, esp Dr. King). I'm also kind of 'proud' that I was able to create a videogame for one of the personality studies that actually worked and found significant results relating to intuition. I have plans to go back to grad school but I am taking time off to spend with my family/father. I'm also using the time to get hands on experience with people. I'm debating going back to school to become either a therapist, researcher, or possibly a high school counselor/teacher.
I work with a organization called, Pathways. It is about Community Behavioral Healthcare. My actual job description is a CSS or Community Support Specialist. It is my job to assist chronically mentally ill people (schzophrenic, bi-polar,borderline,depressed, etc) from being hospitalized. We try to help them adapt, progress, and get out into the community. Calling me a caseworker would be appropriate, but the best description for what I do would be called a life coach. I help these people make it to their psychiatrist, and regular doctor appointments. I also teach and aid them in working on budgets, going grocery shopping, applying for jobs, Medicaid, food stamps, or simply just giving them someone to talk to.
While I believe that what I do is great it leaves hardly no time to do the things I like. Luckily with CotG going online it has made it easier for me to set up and run cards without having to do my own rankings and such which would take up more time for me than I have. I'm fairly new to CotG and it is one of the few ways for me to 'escape' from the stress of work and family. I'm currently really into the aCe, and getting geared up for GWFZ, and play a little GWF 2087 inbetween. I want to start MMA/wrestling POW but I am currently short on time.
As far as wrestling goes I don't watch anymore, too crappy writing for not good enough wrestling IMO. I have been to many live events, saw the first Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood, saw Rock win his first title against Mankind at Survivor Series, and one In Your House I believe. I've seen Raw and Smackdown, but like I said I'm indifferent when they come to town anymore. However, I do still like going to see local shows from Harley Race's WLW. I find it to be good fun without the crappy stuff in between. The guys may not be the best but they usually put on a great show!
I do have a MySpace but don't bother with it much since I prefer Facebook over it. Feel free to email, PM, add me as a friend on facebook. If you ever need anyone to talk to about anything personal I have probably heard it all and will do my best to help you, or give you the best advice I can. Then again I may not have any idea what I'm talking about . Take it easy, and may you keep them dice rollin'!!!
