Let's get this party started. Looks for updates through Tuesday.
BIGGEST WINNERS -Dallas Cowboys - They looked really good. The defense looks especially good. Romo deserved credit for this W.
San Francisco 49ers - The beat the Packers asses, and are probably (rightfully) the team to beat in the NFC right now. Statement victory.
Washington Redskins - Bet their balls on their new QB and looking brilliant today for doing it.
Robert Griffin III - Based on one game, he looks like a star. Breakout Big 12 QB? Is he the one? I was shocked. Can't wait to see him in week 2 vs. a stout Rams D. HUGE game between two teams with close ties to each other featuring two Big 12 quarterbacks.
Chicago Bears - I know it was against the Colts, and the true test for the Bears comes this Thursday at the Pack, but Cutler to Marshall looked damn good. Bears have never had a WR do that in my lifetime.
New York Jets - More proof preseason means nothing. Beat the living crap out of the Bills.
Denver Broncos - HUGE return to the NFL victory for Peyton Manning. Was totally awesome to watch.
St. Louis Rams - They lost, but it happened on the last play of a game they were in the whole time thanks to a tough looking defense. Rams have won only 3 road games in past 2 seasons, and almost stole one from the Lions in Ford Field. Rams are on right track with Jeff Fisher.
BIGGEST LOSERS -NY Giants - Now we're all reminded how and why this team went 9-7 last year. Factoid: Since 1990, 54% of teams who win in week 1 make the playoffs. Only 25% of teams who lose week 1 end up making the playoffs. That's a huge difference.
New Orleans Saints * - No bounties = no motivation.
Green Bay Packers - Have now lost 3 of last 4 at home. Poor defense and no running game = Rogers can't beat the best teams by himself. In danger of starting 0-2 with Bears on deck.
Pittsburgh Steelers - No longer in the discussion for top team in the AFC.
Carolina Panthers - 10 points with Cam Newton?
Seattle Seahawks - Had a chance to get a W in Russell Wilson's debut and "Stone Hands" Braylon Edwards dropped it in the endzone. TO would have caught that. ;-)
Buffalo Bills - Threw 100 million dollars at Mario Williams and the Jets drop 45 on them in his first game. More like Buffalol.
Brandon Weeden - Dude...
