Looking at No Way Out, the card (so far) seems weak compared to the four (SurSer, Armageddon, NYR, Rumble) Pay-Per-Views that preceded it. Though I'm very much looking forward to WrestleMania.

With now only 40 days to go until Wrestlemania 2, it's now time for Tuesday Night RAW!
(Promoter's Note: For this week, Tuesday Night RAW replaces Thursday Night RAW because RAW this week is taking place on Tuesday instead of during it's regular Thursday time slot)
Major League Wrestling (MLW) RAW Tuesday February 3, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
Match #1: Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake defeated the Killer Bees by countout
- The Killer Bees lost this match when B. Brian Blair was unable to return to the ring before the referee completed a 10 count after Blair had been double teamed outside of the ring by Valentine and Beefcake.
Match #2: Cruiserweight Champion Pepper Gomez defeated Iron Mike DiBiase in a non-title match
- Gomez won this match quickly after only a couple of moves via a criss cross smash.
- As Gomez gets his hand raised in victory, the TV announcers say that Gomez should find out by watching Friday Night Smackdown who his Smackdown cruiserweight challenger will be at the Smackdown brand PPV No Way Out on February 15th.
Match #3: The Sheik (managed by Abdullah Farouk) defeated the Missing Link by DQ
- In a rematch from last week's RAW, The Sheik once again defeated the Missing Link (formerly managed by Farouk) but this time only by DQ when the Missing Link smashed The Sheik with a steel chair outside of the ring.
- Afterward, although the match was over, The Sheik hit the Missing Link with a FIREBALL as Farouk announced that The Sheik (who at the Royal Rumble won his feud against former World Champion Bobo Brazil) seeks gold!
Match #4: Bruiser Brody defeated Johnny Rodz
- In this match, Brody basically just played with Rodz who he proceeded to finish off with a piledriver.
- As trainers and EMTs attended to an apparently injured Rodz, Brody (who lost to his former tag team partner World Champion Jimmy Snuka by DQ at the Royal Rumble) announced he wants a rematch vs Snuka and he wants it in a match he can't get disqualified in at Wrestlemania 2!
Match #5: World Champion Jimmy Snuka defeated Gorgeous George in a non-title match.
- Facing George, his very first enemy from the early days of MLW who put up a good fight in this match, Snuka won via his SUPERFLY LEAP.
- Afterward, Snuka got on the microphone and said, if allowed to do so by MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino, he'll accept Brody's challenge for Wrestlemania 2!
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and includes the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos in action, Diamond Dallas Page vs Don Muraco, Jim Londos trying to regain the Intercontinental Championship from Rick Rude and more!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) RAW Tuesday February 3, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Backstage: New Age Outlaws ask MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino if they, as former MLW Tag Team Champions, can be the challengers for the current MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos at Wrestlemania 2.
- Sammartino says no because he has another tag team in mind.
Match #6: MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos (managed by Captain Kangaroo) defeated Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke in a non-title match.
- The Kangaroos won this match in just 2 moves as Roy Heffernan pinned Cousin Luke via the BOOMERANG following interference from Captain Kangaroo (Albano).
- Afterward, the Kangaroos got on the microphone and listed how they've defeated all of the regular tag teams on RAW just this month:
- Valentine and Beefcake at New Years Revolution
- New Age Outlaws at the Royal Rumble
- Killer Bees on last week's RAW
- Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke on this week's RAW just a couple of minutes ago
- The Kangaroos say they may as just take Wrestlemania 2 off since there isn't a tag team on RAW worthy of challenging them for the MLW Tag Team Championship at Wrestlemania 2.
- But Sammartino then appears and says the Kangaroos will indeed be defending the MLW Tag Team Championship at Wrestlemania 2- against the 2 time back to back winners of the 2 Sammartino Invitationals: The Brothers of Other Mothers!
- After Sammartino makes this major announcement, The Brothers of Other Mothers (RAW's Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras) come out and stand on the stage ramp where they stare toward the ring in the direction of their Wrestlemania 2 opponents the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos.
Backstage: Bobby Heenan tells Harley Race that the Heenan Family's regular "problem solver" Ox Baker is still injured from the 8 man tag main event match on last week's RAW and that he needs Race to take Baker's place at ringside tonight when Rick Rude defends the Intercontinental Championship against former champion Jim Londos.
- In the Ring: Don Muraco accompanied by Ladies Champion Sherri Martel
- Muraco says he plans to teach Diamond Dallas Page, who as special guest referee at New Years Revolution gave Muraco a DIAMONDCUTTER in the elimination chamber main event match and who also gave Muraco a DIAMONDCUTTER backstage during shows each of the last 2 weeks, a lesson tonight. DDP's entrance music then starts playing.
Match #7: Diamond Dallas Page defeated Don Muraco (managed by Ladies Champion Sherri Martel)
- DDP won this match by pinfall via a Diamond Dream followed by a DIAMONDCUTTER.
Match #8, the main event: Intercontinental Champion Rick Rude (managed by Bobby Heenan and accompanied by Harley Race) defeated Jim Londos
- During this match, Rude tossed Londos out of the ring where he exchanged fisticuffs with Race. Londos got the better of this scuffle before jumping back into the ring just in time to beat the referee's 10 count.
- But the end came when Race reached beneath the ropes and tripped Londos who then got hit with a RUDE AWAKENING for the defeat.
- Afterward, Race grabbed a chair and climbed back into the ring where he gave Londos a PILEDRIVER onto the steel chair to a chorus of boos from the fans in The Major League Wrestling Arena.
Backstage: Ed "Strangler" Lewis asks Sammartino if Londos' defeat tonight means that Lewis doesn't get the automatic shot at the Intercontinental Championship he was promised after defeating Londos on RAW last week if Londos defeated Rude tonight.
- Sammartino says that's correct. But instead he'll award Lewis one of the 3 RAW spots in the Money in the Bank match at Wrestlemania 2 and Lewis smiles seemingly pleased with this news.
- Sammartino then says he has to go out to the ring to make a major announcement to close out tonight's show.
Wrestlemania 2 Advertisement Wrestlemania 2 Sunday March 15 15 matches om New York City, Chicago, and Las Vegas 1. The Brothers of Other Mothers (Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras) vs the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos 2. Money in the Bank Ladder Match: EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase vs Ed "Strangler" Lewis vs 6 more TBA competitors 3. 13 more matches TBA
In the Ring: Sammartino says that although this year's Royal Rumble winner Antonino Rocca of Smackdown hasn't decided yet whether to stay on Smackdown to challenge current champion Buddy Rogers for the MLW Championship or to go to the EAWA to challenge for the EAWA Championship at Wrestlemania 2, Rocca has informed him (Sammartino) that he (Rocca) does not intend to challenge for RAW's World Championship at Wrestlemania 2 which leaves Sammartino free to announce the RAW portion of the main event at Wrestlemania 2:
World Champion Jimmy Snuka vs Bruiser Brody in a steel cage to ensure that their main event match at Wrestlemania 2 doesn't end in a DQ like at the Royal Rumble!
- the entrance music for Nick Bockwinkel suddenly plays and Bockwinkel comes down to the ring with his manager Heenan.
- Bockwinkel asks Sammartino if he heard correctly- that he (Bockwinkel) still won't get a chance to regain his World Championship in a 1 on 1 match at Wrestlemania 2?
- Sammartino says this is correct that Bockwinkel won't be challenging for the World Championship at Wrestlemania 2 and Bockwinkel suddenly slaps Sammartino in the face a few times.
- As Heenan says that Sammartino just got some Beverly Hills [censored] Slaps, Bockwinkel then applies his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK on Sammartino and refuses to relinquish the hold until The Brothers of Other Mothers, Larry Sharpe, and S.D. Jones run into the ring to make the save.
- As Sammartino lies in the ring in obvious pain from Bockwinkel's attack, tonight's show comes to an end.
See you on Friday for Friday Night Smackdown!

Friday Night Smackdown Preview:
The main event on tomorrow's Friday Night Smackdown will be MLW Champion Buddy Rogers teaming up with Johnny Valentine against Frank Gotch, Rogers' challenger at No Way Out, and Antonio Inoki! Rogers and Valentine will have their fellow Horsemen Larry Zbyszko in their corner while Gotch and Inoki will have Rikidozan in their corner.
Speaking of the Horsemen, tomorrow night on Smackdown is the deadline for United States Champion Steve "Dr. Death" Williams to accept the offer made last week by the Horsemens' manager Eddie Fyne to become the new 4th member of the Four Horsemen to replace George Hackenschmidt who last week on Smackdown was unceremoniously kicked out of the group. Prodded by his manager Killer Kowalski, who Fyne offered a briefcase full of cash to convince Williams to join the Horsemen, will Dr. Death become the newest member of the Four Horsemen?
In addition, will Smackdown's Antonino Rocca finally announce which title he is going to challenge for at Wrestlemania 2 as a result of winning the Royal Rumble? Although Rocca has ruled out jumping back to RAW to challenge for the World Championship, it remains unknown whether Rocca will decide to stay on Smackdown and challenge for the MLW Championship or use this opportunity to go to the EAWA, the brand run by the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase who ordered his personal employee King Kong Bundy to attack Rocca after the Rumble match because Rocca eliminated DiBiase late in the Rumble, and challenge for the EAWA Championship.
Finally, with this being the last Smackdown episode before the Smackdown brand present the No Way Out PPV on February 15th, what additional matches will be added to No Way Out?
All this and more tomorrow night on Friday Night Smackdown!

- Williams gives Fyne a thumb up and a happy Kowalski starts to reach for the briefcase Fyne is holding!
- But then Williams suddenly reverses his thumbs up to an emphatic thumbs down!
- As a disappointed Fyne leaves the ring with his briefcase, an angry Kowalski gestures to DLJ and the two of them (Kowalski and DLJ) proceed to beat up Williams.

Major League Wrestling (MLW) Smackdown Friday February 6, 2009] The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #5: Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Jushin Liger defeated Buff Bagwell and Tiger Mask.
- Before this match started, it was announced that these 4 wrestlers would be 4 of 6 competitors in 2 triple threat matches next weekend at No Way Out: Buff Bagwell vs Tiger Mask vs Mr. Canada and Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Jushin Liger vs Fritz Von Goering. And the winner of these two triple threat matches will go on to become 2 of Smackdown's 3 participants in the 8 man Money in the Bank match at Wrestlemania 2!
- This match ended when Duggan pinned Tiger Mask via a FLYING SPEAR.
Backstage: Koko B. Ware is informed by an MLW official named Bob Backlund who is substituting for MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino (recovering form being attacked earlier this week at the end of RAW by Nick Bockwinkel) that since the other top Smackdown cruiserwieghts are involved in the Money in the Bank triple threat qualifying matches at No Way Out, he (Ware) gets to challenge Cruiserweight Champion Pepper Gomez next weekend at No Way Out.
Hot Seat: The guest is George Hackenschmidt.
- Bill Apter begins the Hot Seat by saying he just heard that Antonino Rocca, this year's Royal Rumble winner, is still unable to participate at No Way Out due to the bruised ribs injury he suffered form EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase and King Kong Bundy at the end of the Royal Rumble, but Rocca will be appearing on Saturday EAWA tomorrow to announce whether he will use his Royal Rumble victory to challenge for the MLW Championship or the EAWA Championship at Wrestlemania 2!
- Then footage from last week's Smackdown is shown where MLW Champion Buddy Rogers and the other members (Johnny Valentine, Larry Zbyszko, and their manager Eddie Fyne) Four Horsemen accuse Hackenschmidt of being the group's weak link before kicking him out of the group and attacking him.
- Hackenschmidt repeats that at the Royal Rumble he really didn't intend to throw out Zbyszko. But next weekend at No Way Out what he does to Zbyszko WILL be intentional. And he's also going to prove to Rogers that it was a big mistake to kick him out of the Four Horsemen.
Match #6: World Tag Team Champions the Road Warriors defeated US Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express (managed by Jim Cornette)
- The Road Warriors overcame some serious offense from Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane to win when Road Warrior Hawk pinned Lane via the DOOMSDAY DEVICE.
- But what will happen next week at No Way Out when these two championship tag teams battle in a likely historical epic best 2 out of 3 falls match that will see the winner unify the World Tag Team Championship and the US Tag Team Championship?
- In the Ring: Prior to the start of tonight's main event match of Frank Gotch and Antonio Inoki vs MLW Champion Buddy Rogers and Johnny Valentine, Rogers, Valentine and their manager Eddie Fyne is with Gotch, Inoki, and Rikidozan.
- Fyne: "Although Dr. Death someday will regret his decision tonight to turn down our generous offer to make him the newest Horsemen, the Four Horsemen tonight have signed another Smackdown wrestler to become our 4th member instead and this newest Horsemen will be introduced next weekend at No Way Out."
- Fyne: "And this leads me to make a challenge to you Gotch. At No Way Out next weekend, let's make your match against Rogers a lumberjack match. Zbyszko is already in another match that night to teach Hackenschmidt a lesson. So lets make it a 4 man lumberjack match with you having Inoki and Rikidozan in your corner and Rogers having Valentine and our new mystery Horsemen in our corner."
- Gotch agrees to this lumberjack stipulation for his match next weekend at No Way Out.
Match #7, the main event: Frank Gotch and Antonio Inoki (accompanied by Rikidozan) defeated MLW Champion Buddy Rogers and Johnny Valentine (managed by Eddie Fyne)
- This match ended when Gotch made Rogers tap out in the center of the ring to his GOTCH TOEHOLD. Will Gotch have similar results next weekend at No Way Out in his one on one match for Rogers' MLW Championship? And who will be introduced as the next Horsemen in that lumberjack match at No Way Out?
- To end tonight's show, an advertisement with the complete lineup for next weekend's No Way Out is shown.
No Way Out Advertisement No Way Out presented by MLW's Smackdown brand Sunday February 15th The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV 1. Looking at No Way Out, the card (so far) seems weak compared to the four (SurSer, Armageddon, NYR, Rumble) Pay-Per-Views that preceded it. Though I'm very much looking forward to WrestleMania. I just noticed this post. No Way Out next weekend will have a couple of BIG surprises (one of them being the identity of the new 4th Horsemen and one of them really literally being BIG ). I don't know yet how No Way Out will actually turn out. But no worries, because I think it will turn out OK as part of my fed's road to Wrestlemania 2.

BREAKING NEWS:
With exactly 1 week to go until No Way Out when Frank Gotch challenges MLW Champion Buddy Rogers in a lumberjack match where the Four Horsemen have promised to reveal their 4th Horsemen, both Gotch and Eddie Fyne (the Four Horsemen's manager) were seen today at the Burger Bar located inside Mandalay Bay on The Strip here in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As news of this meeting leaked fueling speculation that Gotch might actually be the new mystery Horsemen, Gotch released the following statement to the press.
Gotch: "The fact that Eddie Fyne and I were both at the Burger Bar at the same time today was just pure coincidence. Fyne was having lunch at one of the tables with some associates while I just stopped by for a glass of Sin City Amber at the bar. At no point in time did I engage in any conversation with Fyne today. I have spent my entire time on Smackdown fighting Buddy Rogers and the Four Horsemen and I am not and never will be a member of the Four Horsemen."
- Before leaving the podium, Gotch turned and said something else:
Gotch: "At Sunday at No Way Out at The Major League Wrestling Arena, I am scheduled to challenge Buddy Rogers for the MLW Championship in a lumberjack match with Antonio Inoki and Rikidozan in my corner and Johnny Valentine and this new mystery Horsemen in Rogers' corner. So how could I possibly be the new mystery Horsemen standing in Rogers corner if I am supposed to wrestle him in the ring at the same time? Think about it people."
For his part, Fyne couldn't be reached for comment.
But despite his public denials, is Frank Gotch really telling the truth?
