Major League Wrestling (MLW) No Way Out Sunday February 15, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Final Third of the PPV, First Third and Second Third are both posted above) (ratings are based on a 4 star system)
Match #7: George Hackenschmidt defeated Larry Zbyszko (managed by Eddie Fyne)***
- This was Hackenschmidt's first match against one of his former Four Horsemen teammates and it came against Zbyszko who Hackenschmidt accidentally eliminated from the Royal Rumble match last month prior to getting kicked out of the Four Horsemen.
- Hackenschmidt won via a wristlock suplex.
- Afterward, Hackenschmidt got on the microphone to say he hopes that Frank Gotch defeated MLW Champion Buddy Rogers (another of Hackenschmidt's former Horsemen teammates) tonight in the main event at No Way Out. But, Hackenschmidt adds, if Rogers does win then he (Hackenschmidt) wants to use his automatic title shot that he won back at Survivor Series to challenge Rogers for the MLW Championship at Wrestlemania 2!
Hot Seat: Interim MLW Chairman Bob Backlund and Minor League Wrestling Commissioner Charlie Cox are the guests.
- Bill Apter: " I'm joined tonight on the Hot Seat by Interim MLW Chairman Bob Backlund and Minor League Wrestling Commissioner Charlie Cox who are going to discuss Cox's demands for Minor League Wrestling at Wrestlemania 2."
- Apter: "Mr. Cox, what are your demands for Minor League Wrestling at Wrestlemania 2?"
- Cox: "My one demand is simple. In exchange for no longer invading MLW shows, Minor League Wrestling wants its wrestlers wrestling at Wrestlemania 2."
- Backlund: "Forget it. We're talking about Wrestlemania, not Wrestleminoria. We only have space for 15 matches at Wrestlemania 2 which means we don't even have enough room to get many of the wrestlers on RAW, Smackdown, and the EAWA matches at Wrestlemania 2."
- Cox: "Then I have the perfect solution for you. Lets make just one of those matches a 30 man battle royal of Major League Wrestling vs Minor League Wrestling where you can use 15 MLW wrestlers who don't have another match that night against 15 Minor League Wrestling wrestlers. Or are you and Sammartino afraid that Major League Wrestling will get embarrassed by Minor League Wrestling at Wrestlemania 2?"
- Backlund: "No. I'm not worried and I agree to this match."
- Apter: "You heard it here first fans. At Wrestlemania 2, there will be a 30 man battle royal pitting Major League Wrestling vs Minor League Wrestling!"
Wrestlemania 2 Advertisement Wrestlemania 2 Sunday March 15 15 matches in New York City, Chicago, and Las Vegas 1. World Champion Jimmy Snuka vs Bruiser Brody (steel cage match) 2. MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino vs Nick Bockwinkel 3. The Brothers of Other Mothers (Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras) vs the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos 4. Jim Londos vs Harley Race 5. Money in the Bank Ladder Match: EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase vs Ed "Strangler" Lewis vs Mr. Perfect vs Buff Bagwell vs Fritz Von Goering vs 3 more TBA competitors 6. Antonino Rocca vs EAWA Champion Bob Orton Sr. 7. United States Champion Steve "Dr. Death" Williams vs Killer Kowalski 8. 30 man Battle Royal: Major League Wrestling vs Minor League Wrestling 7. 7 more matches TBA
Match #8: World Tag Team Champions the Road Warriors defeated United States Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane, managed by Jim Cornette) by DQ in a title unification match.
- What started off as a good match turned into utter disappointment at the end. The Road Warriors had the Midnight Express and the action spilled outside of the ring where Cornette got his team DQd for hitting Road Warrior Animal on the back with his tennis racket. Afterward, an angry Road Warrior Animal gave Cornette a POWERSLAM right through a ringside table.
- As a result of the DQ ending, Sammartino's desire to unify the 2 Smackdown tag team championships won't happen tonight.
Match #9, the main event: MLW Champion Buddy Rogers defeated Frank Gotch in a lumberjack match. *** 1/2
- Before the start of the match, Gotch arrived in the ring with his 2 lumberjacks Antonio Inoki and Rikidozan while Rogers only arrived with 1 lumberjack in his fellow Horsemen Johnny Valentine plus Eddie Fyne- the manager of the Four Horsemen. Rogers was supposed to introduce the new 4th Horsemen in this match to serve as his other lumberjack, but there apparently wasn't a 2nd lumberjack for Rogers present at the star of this match.
- Gotch: "So where is he? Where is this mystery other lumberjack and the new 4th Horsemen?"
- Rogers: "Oh, I have no doubt he'll be here during this match."
- Gotch: "Well, we're not waiting. Let's get this match started."
- Rogers agrees and the match begins.
- This turned out to be an excellent main event as both Gotch and Rogers made many reversals on defense and scored multiple pin/submission attempts against each other.
- The end of this match came when Gotch had Rogers trapped in his GOTCH TOEHOLD and it really looked like Rogers was about to tap out when Rikidozan suddenly hit Inoki from behind with a steel chair and entered the ring and launched an astonishing attack upon a surprised Gotch. Rikidozan then threw Gotch out of the ring where Valentine, Fyne, and even Larry Zbyszko (who ran out from the locker room) joined in the assault upon Gotch before throwing him back into the ring toward Rogers who applied his FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE for the win to retain the MLW Championship.
- Then, as the fans litter the ring with garbage in disgust, the Horsemen set up Gotch for Rikidozan who hit him with this THUNDEROUS CHOPS as the Four Horsemen with their newest member Rikidozan proceeded to pose in front of the camera giving their four fingered hand signal as No Way Out comes to an end.
End of Show.

No Way Out was what I was expecting, but after the last four Pay-Per-Views you had, it was a given this one would be kind of a lead-in to Mania and as such a little bit of a disappointment. I'm not sure how I feel about Rikidozan with the Horsemen, I would have much rather seen Williams with them. WrestleMania 2 is looking hella stacked, though. Good to see Brody's going to be in the main event for the show.
On that note - Have you decided how you're going to do the show as far as the match order? Because surely you're not doing the top 3 matches from the same venue, as opposed to having one headline each of the cities. Either way, I'm very much looking forward to that show.

Yeah, I admit my No Way Out PPV just didn't turn out quite as I wanted. Some of the match results (like Match #8) were disappointing and too many other matches were surprisingly short. Hopefully the dice are more kind to me for Wrestlemania 2. And for Wrestlemania 2, I am going to make an effort to balance out the card among the 3 cities. Once the rest of the lineup is announced in the next 2 weeks, I'll probably have a Breaking News segment announcing the division of the PPV. And finally, thanks to everyone here for the 4,000 views that I noticed Major League Wrestling is about to attain!

With 26 days to go until Wrestlemania 2, it's now time for this week's edition of Tuesday Night RAW
Major League Wrestling (MLW) RAW Tuesday February 17, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
Match #1: Gorgeous George defeated Cruiserweight Champion Pepper Gomez in a non-title Money in the Bank Qualifying match
- George won this match when he got thrown into the ropes by Gomez and rebounded with a small package coupled with a handful of tights to win and advance to the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2.
- Gomez, however, retained the Cruiserweight Championship as it was a spot in Money in the Bank and not his title that was on the line in this particular match tonight.
Match #2: Ed "Strangler" Lewis defeated S.D. Jones
- Lewis, who was already previously named to participate in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2, won this match when Jones threw him into the ropes from which he rebounded with a spear followed by his patented STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK.
- Will The Strangler also win the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2?
Match #3: Don Muraco (managed by Ladies Champion Sherri Martel) defeated the Missing Link in a Money in the Bank Qualifying match
- Although Martel got herself ejected from ringside for attempting to interfere in this match, Muraco still got the victory when he pinned the Missing Link via his HAWAIIAN HAMMER to secure RAW's 3rd and final spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2.
- Now 7 of the 8 spots in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2 have been secured by Mr. Perfect, EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, Ed "Strangler" Lewis, Gorgeous George, Don Muraco, Buff Bagwell, and Fritz Von Goering. And the final spot will be won by a Smackdown superstar later this week on Friday Night Smackdown!
Backstage: Interim MLW Chairman Bob Backlund is in his office along with Heenan Family members Bobby Heenan, Intercontinental Champion Rick Rude, and Ox Baker.
- Backlund tells Rude he was able to get back his Intercontinental Championship that The Sheik stole from him last week on RAW after he (The Sheik) violently interrupted the aftermath of the Diamond Dallas Page-Rude match and caused both DDP and Rude to bleed heavily.
- As Backlund hands over Rude's title, he (Backlund) also tells Rude that he did decide however to give The Sheik a shot at Rude's Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania 2!
- As Rude and Heenan again start to protest, Backlund makes them more angry by saying Rude's title defense at Wrestlemania 2 will be historical because it will be the first time the Intercontinental Championship will be defended in a triple threat match in Major League Wrestling History as Rude will also defend it in that match against DDP- the other wrestler The Sheik savagely attacked the same time as he attacked Rude last week on RAW!
- As Heenan starts to protest some more, Backlund interrupts him by saying Heenan needs to tell his family members Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race they will be wrestling in tonight's main event- against the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos!
In the Ring: the Killer Bees vs Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake match is about to begin when suddenly Backlund appears at the top of the ramp with a microphone.
- Backlund announced, that of the 5 RAW wrestlers he's putting into the 30 man Major League Wrestling vs Minor League Wrestling Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 2, there is room for a tag team. And the tag team that wins this match will be in the Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 2!
Match #4: Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake defeated the Killer Bees
- This match ended when Beefcake put B. Brian Blair away via a sleeper.
- As a result, Valentine and Beefcake will be in the 30 man Major League Wrestling vs Minor League Wrestling Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 2!
Match #5: New Age Outlaws defeated the Brothers of Other Mothers (Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras)
- Brazil and Mascaras, the back to back Sammartino Invitational winners, suffered the upset as Mascaras got distracted when their Wrestlemania 2 opponents the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos came down to ringside with Roy Heffernan and Al Costello standing on opposite sides of the ring. Suddenly Heffernan threw a boomerang that flew right in front of Mascaras and across the ring to Costello who caught it as B.G. James took advantage of Mascaras briefly losing his concentration to get the win via a PUMP HANDLE SLAM.
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and includes Jim Londos in action, the recently temporarily signed Andre the Giant making a guest wrestling appearance, the contract signing for the Wrestlemania 2 main event steel cage match between World Champion Jimmy Snuka and Bruiser Brody, and tonight's main event of the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos vs Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) RAW Tuesday February 17, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #6: Jim Londos defeated Ox Baker (managed by Bobby Heenan)
- At Wrestlemania 2, Londos is scheduled to wrestle Race but tonight he fought Race's fellow Heenan Family member and the Heenan Family's "problem solver" Baker.
- Londos won this match via his AIRPLANE SPIN.
Backstage: World Champion Jimmy Snuka asks Backlund why Brody still has his title shot against him in a steel cage at Wrestlemania 2 since Brody attacked him after Snuka and Brody's tag match against Bockwinkel and Race last week on RAW.
- Backlund responds because Brody's attack occurred after the match and not during the match as stipulated. However, during tonight's contract signing, once again if Brody attacks Snuka during the actual contract signing itself then Brody loses his title shot against Snuka at Wrestlemania 2.
In the Ring: Presided over by Backlund, Snuka and Brody sit on opposite sides of a table to sign the contract for their steel cage title match at Wrestlemania 2.
- Despite the obvious tension between them, the Snuka-Brody contract signing goes off at first without a problem. But as soon as Backlund picks up the signed contract, Brody suddenly grabs Snuka and gives him a piledriver straight through the table!
- Backlund tells Snuka that, once again, Brody doesn't lose his title shot at Wrestlemania 2 since the attack occurred after the contract signing and not during it. However, Backlund says it's obvious that there will have to be a special guest referee in their steel cage match at Wrestlemania 2 to keep order and thus he (Backlund) names himself as the special guest referee in the main event championship steel cage match between Snuka and Brody at Wrestlemania 2!
Wrestlemania 2 Advertisement Wrestlemania 2 Sunday March 15 15 matches in New York City, Chicago, and Las Vegas 1. World Champion Jimmy Snuka vs Bruiser Brody (steel cage match with Bob Backlund as special guest referee) 2. MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino vs Nick Bockwinkel 3. The Brothers of Other Mothers (Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras) vs the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos 4. Jim Londos vs Harley Race 5. Money in the Bank Ladder Match: EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase vs Ed "Strangler" Lewis vs Gorgeous George vs Don Muraco vs Mr. Perfect vs Buff Bagwell vs Fritz Von Goering vs 1 more TBA competitor 6. Antonino Rocca vs EAWA Champion Bob Orton Sr. 7. Diamond Dallas Page vs Intercontinental Champion Rick Rude vs The Sheik (triple threat title match) 8. Special Attraction: Andre the Giant vs Ivan Koloff and Nikolai Volkoff (1 on 2 handicap match) 11. 5 more matches TBA
Match #7: Andre the Giant defeated Cowboy Bob Orton Jr.
- In his first match since signing his temporary MLW contract that lasts until Wrestlemania 2, Andre the Giant looked very impressive as Orton Jr.'s attempted offense against him proved futile.
- Andre the Giant got the win via a headbutt followed by an extremely powerful (+6) BIG SPLASH for the win.
(Promoter's Note: I am using the Andre the Giant card from Cory Olson's LOW Bootlegs group)
Backstage: Backlund tells the New Age Outlaws that, despite their victory tonight, they still won't be added to the championship match between the Kangaroos and the Brothers of Other Mothers at Wrestlemania 2.
- Instead, Backlund says he has a "Backlund Original" idea for a tag match at Wrestlemania 2 which will involve the New Age Outlaws.
Match #8: MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos (managed by Captain Kangaroo) defeated Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race (accompanied by manager Bobby Heenan and Heenan Family "problem solver" Ox Baker)
- Aided by Londos who came down to ringside to distract his Wrestlemania 2 opponent Race, the Kangaroos won when Heffernan pinned Race via the BOOMERANG.
End of Show. See you on Friday for this week's edition of Friday Night Smackdown as the road to Wrestlemania 2 continues!

With now just 23 days away until Wrestlemania 2, it's now time for this week's edition of Friday Night Smackdown!
Major League Wrestling (MLW) Smackdown Friday, February 20, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, Nevada (First Half of the show)
Match #1: Ivan Koloff and Nikolai Volkoff (managed by Nikita Breznikov) defeated Koko B. Ware and George South
- One week after Koloff lost to the Boogie Woogie Man in a steel chain match at No Way Out only to incur the wrath of Andre the Giant who was sitting ringside for the PPV and who has now signed a temporary MLW contract to wrestle both Koloff and Volkoff in a handicap match at Wrestlemania 2, Koloff and Volkoff won this match when Koloff pinned South after getting away with attacking him with his chain.
- Afterward, Koloff got on the microphone and said Andre the Giant will find out he made a big mistake signing that temporary MLW contract when he (Koloff) and Volkoff defeat him in their handicap match at Wrestlemania 2!
Match #2: Buff Bagwell defeated Fritz Von Goering
- This matchup, pitting the 2 Smackdown wrestlers who last weekend at No Way Out won a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2, ended when Bagwell pinned Von Goering via a scoop slam.
- As Bagwell is officially declared the winner, the TV announcers mention that tonight the 3rd and final Smackdown competitor in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2 will be determined later tonight on Friday Night Smackdown!
Backstage: Interim MLW Chairman Bob Backlund tells Tiger Mask, Jushin Liger, Boogie Woogie Man, Mr. Canada, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan that they are about to compete in a 5 way elimination match. Backlund continues by saying that once the match gets down to the final two competitors the winner will be determined by the one who can climb a ladder to grab a steel rod to earn the final Smackdown spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2!
Match #3: Mr. Canada defeated Boogie Woogie Man, Jushin Liger, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and Tiger Mask in a 5 way elimination ladder match Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
order of eliminations Boogie Woogie Man - eliminated by Mr. Canada (Billy "Red" Lyons) via SLEEPER HOLD Tiger Mask- pinned by Duggan via FLYING SPEAR Duggan- pinned by Liger via Liger Dive
- it was now down to Liger vs Mr. Canada in a ladder match for the final spot in Money in the Bank at Wrestlemania 2
- Mr. Canada won the match and thus the 8th and final spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match (the concept for which he introduced here in Major League Wrestling last year) when he was able to climb the ladder and grab the metal rod when his henchman The Mountie came down to ringside and got away with tripping Liger with his Shock Stick.
In the Ring: Interim MLW Chairman Bob Backlund says that he added a new tag match to Wrestlemania 2- a 3 way brand superiority elimination match pitting a tag team from RAW vs a tag team from Smackdown vs a tag team from the EAWA!
- Backlund also announces the RAW tag team for this brand superiority elimination match at Wrestlemania 2 will be the New Age Outlaws!
- Backlund finishes by saying the Smackdown tag team for this brand superiority elimination match at Wrestlemania 2 will be determined by the outcome of the next match!
Match #4: The Armstrongs defeated the New Midnight Express and the Mongols (managed by Sir Oliver Humperdink) in a 3 way tag elimination match to qualify for the 3 way tag brand superiority match at Wrestlemania 2.
order of eliminations
Mongols- eliminated when "Bullet" Bob Armstrong pinned Bepo Mongol via an atomic drop
New Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey and Rapping Red Bastien)- eliminated when Condrey got DQd for accidentally hitting the referee.
- As a result, the Armstrongs advance to Wrestlemania 2 where they will represent Smackdown in fighting RAW's New Age Outlaws and a EAWA tag team TBD in the tag brand elimination superiority match!
Match #5: Frank Gotch defeated The Mountie
- Gotch won this match easily via his GOTCH TOEHOLD.
- Afterward, Gotch got on the microphone to condemn Rikidozan for betraying him last weekend at No Way Out to join the Four Horsemen.
- Gotch says that Rikidozan cost him the chance to regain the MLW Championship last weekend and that now George Hackenschmidt apparently will be challenging for the MLW Championship at Wrestlemania 2, but he (Gotch) just signed to get his revenge against Rikidozan in a match at Wrestlemania 2!
Backstage: MLW Champion Buddy Rogers complains to Backlund that Hackenschmidt has no right to challenge Rogers for the MLW Championship at Wrestlemania 2 since the automatic title shot Hackenschmidt laid claim to actually belongs to the Four Horsemen and Hackenschmidt is no longer a Horsemen.
- Backlund responds by saying that the Four Horsemen had 4 automatic title challenges locked up- but one of those came from Survivor Series form which Hackenschmidt survived that match as a Horsemen. Thus one of those title matches belongs to Hackenschmidt who will be allowed to use it to challenge Rogers at Wrestlemania 2!
Backlund concludes by saying that tonight's main event on Smackdown will pit the most recent Horsemen Hackenschmidt vs the newest Horsemen Rikidozan!
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and includes MLW's temporary special attraction Andre the Giant in action, a major Wrestlemania 2 update, and tonight's announced main event of George Hackenschmidt vs Rikidozan!

- For this match, Williams teamed up with Severn.
- This match ended when Williams pinned Kowalski via the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE as Severn gave an attempting to interfere DLJ a shoulder slam.
- The TV announcers comment that Dr. Death is looking good going into his title defense against his former manager Kowalski at Wrestlemania 2!
Backstage: Interim MLW Chairman Bob Backlund tells the United States Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express and their manager Jim Cornette that since their last two PPV matches at the Royal Rumble and then again at No Way Out in an attempted title unification match against the World Tag Team Champions the Road Warriors both ended in DQ there will be another tag team title unification match between them and the Road Warriors at Wrestlemania 2!
- Backlund adds, to guarantee a clear winner this time, the title unification match between the Midnight Express and the Road Warriors at Wrestlemania 2 will be a no DQ best 2 out of 3 falls match and it will be one of the 5 Wrestlemania 2 matches held in Chicago!
- Without any luck, Cornette and the Midnight Express complain about having to fight the Road Warriors in a no DQ best 2 out of 3 falls title unification match at Wrestlemania 2 in the Road Warriors' home town of Chicago.

In the Ring: Ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta announced that the next match would be between MLW's temporary special attraction Andre the Giant and a wrestler Andre has wrestled before in Japan- Antonio Inoki!
Match #7: Antonio Inoki defeated Andre the Giant
(promoters note: I am using the Andre the Giant bootleg card from Cory Olson's LOW Bootlegs group)
- Inoki won this match by pinfall via his ENZUIGIRI when Andre, who is signed to a temporary MLW contract up to Wrestlemania 2, got distracted when his Wrestlemania 2 two opponents Koloff and Volkoff showed up at ringside.
- Afterward, Koloff and Volkoff rushed into the ring where they threw out Inoki and attempted to tie up Andre with Koloff's chain. But Andre grabbed the chain and chased both of them away as he twirled the chain above his head.
- How will Andre the Giant do at Wrestlemania 2 when he has to wrestle both Koloff and Volkoff in a 1 on 2 handicap match? Match #8, the main event: Rikidozan (accompanied by MLW Champion Buddy Rogers, Johnny Valentine, Larry Zbyszko, and manager Eddie Fyne) defeated George Hackenschmidt (accompanied by Frank Gotch)
- This match ended when Gotch got distracted by the other Four Horsemen as Rikidozan hit Hackenschmidt with his THUNDEROUS CHOPS to the delight of Rogers who will be defending his MLW Championship against Hackenschmidt at Wrestlemania 2.
- Afterward, Valentine and Zbyszko both grabbed Hackenschmidt and set him up for some more THUNDEROUS CHOPS from Rikidozan when Gotch came to the rescue by chasing all of the Four Horsemen away with a steel chair. As Gotch yells toward his Wrestlemania 2 opponent Rikidozan, tonight's show comes to an end.

With now just 22 days to go until Wrestlemania 2, it's time for this week's edition of Saturday EAWA!
Major League Wrestling (MLW) EAWA Saturday February 21, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
Match #1: Terrible Turk defeated Konnan
- Terrible Turk win this match due to his controversial STRANGLEHOLD which here in the EAWA, due to the brand's extreme rules nature, he can apply repeatedly without concern of disqualification.
In the Ring: EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase with his employees Virgil and King Kong Bundy.
- DiBiase lists all the EAWA wrestlers who have already earned spots at Wrestlemania 2:
Antonino Rocca (challenging EAWA Champion Bob Orton Sr.)
EAWA Champion Bob Orton Sr. (defending against Rocca)
Mr. Perfect (participating in the Money in the Bank ladder match)
himself, the Million Dollar Man (participating in the Money in the Bank ladder match)
King Kong Bundy (assigned to ringside for the Money in the Bank ladder match to protect DiBiase)
- DiBiase says there still has to be determined an EAWA tag team to wrestle against RAW's New Age Outlaws and Smackdown's the Armstrongs in the brand superiority tag team elimination match at Wrestlemania 2 and this tag team will be determined today in a tag team turmoil match pitting all the official EAWA tag teams against each other!
- DiBiase says it also still has to be determined which 5 EAWA wrestlers will participate in Wrestlemania 2's 30 man Major League Wrestling vs Minor League Wrestling battle royal. To get a spot to compete in this battle royal, DiBiase says tonight will feature qualifying matches with battle royal participant hopefuls against an EAWA wrestler already scheduled for a match at Wrestlemania 2 and if the former wins then they win a spot in the battle royal at Wrestlemania 2!
Match #2: The Heroes of Hardcore defeated EAWA Tag Team Champions the Valiants, the Vachons, the Barroom Heroes, the Bodydonnas, the Samoan Island Tribe, and Playboy Buddy Rose and Danny Doring in a tag team turmoil match for the right to represent the EAWA in the brand superiority tag elimination match at Wrestlemania 2.
Match #2A: The Bodydonnas (managed by Tammy) defeated Playboy Buddy Rose and Danny Doring
- This contest ended when Chris Candido pinned Doring via a vertical suplex.
Next Team Up: Samoan Island Tribe
Match #2B: The Bodydonnas (managed by Tammy) defeated the Samoan Island Tribe
- This contest ended when Tom Prichard pinned Alofa via FOREIGN OBJECT in plain sight of the referee without any fear of disqualification due to the extreme rules nature of the EAWA.
Next Team Up: Vachons
Match #2C: The Bodydonnas (managed by Tammy) defeated the Vachons (managed by "Wild" Red Berry) - The Bodydonnas continued their impressive performance in this tag team turmoil match as they defeated former MLW Tag Team Champions the Vachons when Prichard again blatantly used his FOREIGN OBJECT to pin Butcher Vachon.
Next Team Up: the Heroes of Hardcore
Match #2D: The Heroes of Hardcore defeated the Bodydonnas (managed by Tammy)
- The Bodydonnas finally went down to defeat when Candido tapped out to Hardcore Hutton's ABDOMINAL STRETCH.
Next Team Up: the Barroom Heroes
Match #2E: The Heroes of Hardcore defeated the Barroom Heroes
- One week after last week's episode of EAWA when both of these two tag teams exchanged backstage words about who was the most hardcore, the Heroes of Hardcore won this contest when Hardcore Hutton put Justin Credible away via his ABDOMINAL STRETCH.
Next Team Up: EAWA Tag Team Champions the Valiants
Match #2F: The Heroes of Hardcore defeated EAWA Tag Team Champions the Valiants
-This contest and thus the match ended when Hardcore Hodge put Jimmy Valiant away via an abdominal stretch. But since it was a spot in Wrestlemania 2 and not the EAWA Tag Team Championship itself on the line, the Valiants retained the EAWA Tag Team Championship.
- As a result, the Heroes of Hardcore win the right to represent the EAWA at Wrestlemania 2 in the brand superiority tag team match against RAW's New Age Outlaws and Smackdown's the Armstrongs!
Match #3: Angelo Mosca defeated Antonino Rocca
- As stipulated earlier tonight by EAWA's General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, with Rocca already scheduled to appear at Wrestlemania 2 in challenging EAWA Champion Bob Orton Sr, Mosca needed to won this match to qualify for one of the 5 EAWA spots in the Major League Wrestling vs Minor League Wrestling Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 2.

Major League Wrestling (MLW) EAWA Saturday February 21, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #4: Mr. Perfect defeated Larry "the Axe" Hennig
- As stipulated earlier tonight by EAWA's General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, with Mr. Perfect already scheduled to appear at Wrestlemania 2 as one of the 8 competitors in the Money in the bank ladder match, Larry Hennig needed to win this match to qualify for one of the 4 remaining EAWA spots in the Major League Wrestling vs Minor League Wrestling Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 2.
- Mr. Perfect denied his father a chance to win a spot at Wrestlemania 2 when he got the win following a rolling neck snap.
Match #5: Andre the Giant defeated the Masked Superstar
- Signed to a temporary MLW contract until Wrestlemania 2 where he is set to wrestle both Ivan Koloff and Nikolai Volkoff in a 1 on 2 handicap match, Andre the Giant continued his tour of all the MLW brands by taking on the EAWA's Masked Superstar tonight.
- Before the match began, ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta announced that since Andre the Giant is already a scheduled Wrestlemania 2 participant, the same stipulation for everyone else wrestling a Wrestlemania 2 participant tonight will also apply to the Masked Superstar- win and you're in Wrestlemania 2.
- Although his repeated attempts to unmask the Masked Superstar failed, Andre the Giant survived a near pinfall to come back and win via his BIG SPLASH to deny the Masked Superstar the chance to lock up a spot in the Major League Wrestling vs Minor league Wrestling battle royal at Wrestlemania 2.
(Promoter's Note: The Masked Superstar came very close to scoring a major upset as he hit Andre the Giant with his SPINNING NECKBREAKER (O) when Andre's PIN - from Cory Olson's card of him in LOW Bootlegs- was at it's starting point of 2 and the dice roll was a 3).
Backstage: EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase tells The Crusher and Giant Baba that they are about to have a match against each other and the winner gets a spot in the 30 man Major League Wrestling vs Minor League Wrestling Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 2!
Match #6: Giant Baba defeated The Crusher
- Baba got the win over former EAWA Champion and fellow fan favorite The Crusher via his NECKBREAKER DROP to win one of the 4 remaining EAWA spots in the Major League wrestling vs Minor League Wrestling Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 2.
Match #7: Ray Stevens defeated EAWA Champion Bob Orton Sr. in a non-title match
- As Orton Sr. is already scheduled to appear at Wrestlemania 2 to defend his title against Antonino Rocca, Stevens had the chance to lock up a spot in the Wrestlemania 2 Major League Wrestling vs Minor League Wrestling battle royal by defeating his enemy Orton Sr.
- Stevens won this match when Rocca, returning the favor from Orton Sr. earlier in the show, showed up at ringside and distracted his Wrestlemania 2 opponent Orton Sr. as Stevens then hit Orton Sr. with a Crippling Piledriver for the win.
- As a result, Stevens advances to Wrestlemania 2's battle royal which now only has 2 spots left for EAWA wrestlers.

Match #8, the main event: EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase (accompanied by King Kong Bundy and Virgil) defeated Sabu
- In this match, DiBiase as an already scheduled Wrestlemania 2 competitor was seeking to win and deny his former enemy Sabu the chance to participate in Wrestlemania 2's battle royal.
- This match ended when Bundy reached through the ropes to land a devastating punch in the face of Sabu who recoiled backward only to get nailed with DiBiase's MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER.
- As a result, there are still 2 EAWA spots left to be filled in the 30 man Major League Wrestling vs Minor League wrestling battle royal at Wrestlemania 2.
- As DiBiase celebrates his victory tonight, the TV announcers wonder aloud if Bundy's announced ringside appearance at Wrestlemania 2 in the Money in the Bank Ladder match might also lead to a DiBiase victory at Wrestlemania 2.
- As DiBiase continues to celebrate while the fans boo him heavily, tonight's show comes to an end.
