Following RAW's presentation of Unforgiven last weekend, it's now time for this week's special edition of Tuesday Night RAW!
Major League Wrestling (MLW) RAW Tuesday September 22, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
Match #1: The Sheik (managed by Abdullah Farouk) defeated Exotic Adrian Street
- The Sheik, whose 6 month reign as the Intercontinental Championship ended controversially at Unforgiven last weekend, dominated this matchup and won when he got away (unlike at Unforgiven) with using a FIREBALL for the pinfall.
- Afterward, Farouk got on the microphone to say The Sheik will soon get his Intercontinental Championship back from Mil Mascaras and that RAW General Manager Bob Backlund might also receive some form of payback for restarting the match after the referee had DQd The Sheik for using a FIREBALL in what was billed as Mil Mascaras's final chance to win the Intercontinental Championship.
Backstage: Sherri Martel (whose impressive reign as Ladies Champion came to an end at Unforgiven) is walking with Don Muraco and Cowboy Bob Orton Jr. when they suddenly run into Kanye West.
Martel: "Kanye West! You're one of my favorite singers! What are you doing here at Major League Wrestling?"
Kanye West: "I have a show tomorrow night at the MGM Grand so I'd thought come by and hang out here on RAW. I can't believe that referee made a fast count to take your title away from you and give it to Penny Banner 2 days ago at Unforgiven."
- Kanye West then shakes hands with Muraco and Orton Jr. before walking away.
Match #2: Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake defeated the Killer Bees
- Despite the loud encouragement of the fans who were thrilled to see the Killer Bees reunite after B. Brian Blair defeated Jim Brunzell at Unforgiven and who kept chanting "Bee Up!" throughout the match, Valentine and Beefcake stole the victory when Valentine pinned Blair via a falling elbow hammer with his boots on the ropes near the turnbuckle for extra leverage as the referee made the 3 count.
In the Ring: Gary Michael Cappetta (the ring announcer)
- Cappetta: "Ladies and gentlemen, it's now time to recognize new Ladies Champion Penny Banner who at Unforgiven just ended the 2 1/2 year reign of Sherri Martel."
- Cappetta then gestures to the stage where Penny Banner comes out and grabs a microphone.
- Banner: "I just want to say thank you to all my fans and ---"
- Banner is suddenly interrupted as Kanye West wanders on stage.
- Kanye West, grabbing the microphone from Banner: "I'm really happy for you, but Sherri Martel just had one of the best title reigns of all time. One of the best title reigns of all time. One of the best title reigns and nobody is recognizing it-----"
- Kanye West is then interrupted by Diamond Dallas Page who snuck up behind him and gave him a DIAMONDCUTTER to shut him up.
Match #3: Jim Londos defeated Gorgeous George
- Londos, who made an impressive but unsuccessful effort to win the World Championship from Bruiser Brody at Unforgiven last weekend, dominated this match and won in just a few moves via a Sleeper Grip.
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and includes Jimmy Snuka vs his enemy the Masked Superstar, the MLW Tag Team Champions defending their title against the Body Donnas, and the main event of World Champion Bruiser Brody, new Intercontinental Champion Mil Mascaras, and new Cruiserweight Champion Jushin Liger vs the Heenan Family's Nick Bockwinkel, Harley Race, and Rick Rude in a 6 man tag team match with Frank Gotch as the special referee!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) RAW Tuesday September 22, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #4: Jimmy Snuka defeated the Masked Superstar
- Two days after defeating the Masked Superstar in a dog collar match at Unforgiven, Snuka picked up another victory over his enemy when he won relatively easily via his SUPERFLY LEAP to show he is clearly winning this feud.
Match #5: MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos (managed by Captain Kangaroo) defeated the Body Donnas (managed by Tammy) 2-0 in a best 2 out of 3 falls match.
- This one on one tag match was set up after the Body Donnas o]put up an impressive performance 2 days ago at Unforgiven as the last surviving tag team of the 6 tag teams that unsuccessfully challenged the Kangaroos in the tag elimination match.
- First Fall: Al Costello forced Chris Candido to tap out to his MARBLE BOR LEGLOCK to send the Kangaroos up 1-0.
- Second Fall: Roy Heffernan pinned Candido via a deathjump to win the fall and thus the match 2-0 as the Kangaroos once again retained the MLW Tag Team Championship.
- The Kangaroos, who just marked their one year anniversary last weekend at Unforgiven as the MLW Tag Team Champions, thus start off the second year of their reign successfully.
Match #6, the main event: The Heenan Family: Nick Bockwinkel, Harley Race, and Rick Rude (all managed by Bobby Heenan and accompanied by Heenan Family "problem solver" Ox Baker) defeated World Champion Bruiser Brody, Intercontinental Champion Mil Mascaras, and Cruiserweight Champion Jushin Liger in a six man tag team match with Frank Gotch as the special guest referee.
- This match featured all 3 of the singles champions on RAW: Brody, Mascaras (who 2 days just won the Intercontinental Championship from The Sheik at Unforgiven) and Liger (who 2 days ago just won the Cruiserweight Championship at Unforgiven) against the Heenan Family.
- Good match that ended when Race pinned Liger via the PILEDRIVER as Race's enemy Gotch (who defeated Race 2 days ago in a classic last man standing match) as the special guest referee reluctantly made the 3 count.
- Afterward, as Gotch raised Race's hand in victory he suddenly maneuvered Race in position for the GOTCH TOEHOLD which he locked in and refused to relinquish as Brody and Mascaras prevented the rest of the Heenan Family from making the save as tonight's show came to an end.
End of Show. See you this weekend for Friday Night Smackdown!

With just 3 weeks to go until No Mercy on Sunday October 18th, it's now time for this week's edition of Friday Night Smackdown featuring both the Semi-Finals and the Finals of the Gold Rush Tournament!
Major League Wresting (MLW) Smackdown Friday September 25, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
Backstage: Getting ready for his Semi-Finals match in the Gold Rush Tournament (which he won when he was back on RAW) against Ed "Strangler" Lewis, Bobo Brazil invites Bob Roop to observe his match at ringside to continue his learning and development since recently arriving in Major League Wrestling.
Match #1, Semi-Finals of the Gold Rush Tournament: George Hackenschmidt defeated Antonio Inoki.
- Before the match officially began, Hackenschmidt and Inoki shook hands in the center of the ring.
- This match ended when Hackenschmidt placed Inoki in his RUSSIAN BEARHUG and then maneuvered him into a pinning position for the 3 count.
- As a result, Hackenschmidt will face the winner of the other Semi-Finals matchup of Brazil vs Lewis in the Finals of the Gold Rush Tournament in tonight's main event to determine the challenger for MLW Champion Buddy Rogers at No Mercy!
Match #2, Semi-Finals of the Gold Rush Tournament: Bobo Brazil (accompanied by Bob Roop) defeated Ed "Strangler" Lewis
- This match ended when Lewis was knocked out of the ring and landed by Roop. Lewis distracted himself by yelling at Roop as he climbed back into the ring where he walked right into a COCO BUTT from a waiting Brazil who got the pinfall to advance to tonight's Gold Rush Tournament Finals.
- Thus tonight's Gold Rush Tournament Finals for the right to challenge Rogers at No Mercy pits Hackenschmidt (the most recent MLW Champion) vs Brazil (who won the Gold Rush Tournament years ago on RAW which at the time propelled him to eventually winning the World Championship)!
- Afterward, an angry Lewis got on the microphone to blame Roop for his loss and said he's tired of playing with Roop who he is challenging to a match at No Mercy where afterward Roop will be sorry he ever signed a Smackdown contract!
Match #3: Fritz Von Goering defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan
- Duggan put up a good fight but Von Goering won via a knee drop to throat.
Match #4: Angelo Mosca defeated Mr. Canada
- In this battle of Canadian countrymen, Mr. Canada (Billy "Red" Lyons) was in command early but lost to Mosca via the SLEEPER.
- Afterward, an extremely angry Mr. Canada violently kicked the ring ropes in frustration.
Match #5: Buff Bagwell defeated the Boogie Woogie Man
- This feud between these two former tag team partners reached a new level of intensity last week on Smackdown when Bagwell interfered in the Boogie Woogie Man's match against Lewis in the Quarter-Finals of the Gold Rush Tournament to prevent the Boogie Woogie Man from advancing.
- Bagwell won this match via a double arm DDT.
- During this match, the TV announcers commented that a bullrope match between Bagwell and the Boogie Woogie Man has been signed for No Mercy!
In the Ring: Before their match begins, Iron Mike DiBiase asks Tiger Mask if he wants to make this a #1 contender's match with the winner getting to challenge new Cruiserweight Champion Jushin Liger at No Mercy. Tiger Mask nods in agreement to accept DiBiase's challenge.
Match #6: Tiger Mask defeated Iron Mike DiBiase
- A really good match won by Tiger Mask via a sudden jumping spin kick as he wins the right to challenge Jushin Liger for the Cruiserweight Championship at No Mercy.
- As Tiger Mask climbs to the top turnbuckle to raise a single finger in the air to signify his new #1 contender's status, he is suddenly grabbed from behind by Mr. Canada who proceeds to beat him up before grabbing a microphone.
- Mr. Canada: "You don't make the matches around here Tiger Mask, you little idiot."
- Mr. Canada: "And I say if anyone deserves a shot against that masked freak Jushin Liger it's me Mrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Canadaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
- Mr. Canada: "How about next week on Smackdown we have a #1 contender's match of me vs you (Tiger Mask) and the winner gets the title shot against Cruiserweight Champion Jushin Liger at No Mercy!"
- Mr. Canada then leaves the ring to a chorus of boos.
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and includes DLJ in action, the New Age Outlaws vs the World Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express, Antonino Rocca vs Larry Zbyszko, the Road Warriors vs Ivan Koloff and Nikolai Volkoff, and the main event of the Gold Rush Tournament Finals of George Hackenschmidt vs Bobo Brazil!

Match #7: Don Leo Jonathan defeated Larry Sharpe and George South in a handicap match.
- DLJ quickly put Sharpe away via the MORMON SWING. DLJ then challenged South to enter the ring and easily put him away via the MORMON SWING.
- The Armstrongs then came out and said they're challenging DLJ to a handicap match at No Mercy and DLJ accepted this challenge.
Backstage: The New Age Outlaws, who lost last week to the World Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express thanks to the interference of Jim Cornette's new bodyguard the One Man Gang, introduce Dan "the Beast" Severn who they say will be in their corner tonight to level the playing field against the Midnight Express and the One Man Gang!
Match #8: New Age Outlaws (accompanied by Dan "the Beast" Severn) defeated the World Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express (managed by Jim Cornette and accompanied by the One Man Gang via DQ in a non-title match.
- The New Age Outlaws won by DQ due to interference from Cornette and the One Man Gang.
- Afterward, a wild brawl broke out between the New Age Outlaws with Severn and the Midnight Express with One Man Gang until Smackdown General Manager Dusty Rhodes arrived to break it up.
- Rhodes then announced at No Mercy it will be the New Age Outlaws and Severn vs the Midnight Express and One Man Gang in a 6 man tag match!
Match #9: Antonino Rocca defeated Larry Zbyszko (managed by Eddie Fyne and accompanied by United States Champion Rikidozan and Johnny Valentine)
- Good match that saw Rocca put Zbyszko away via flying dropkicks right in front of, Zbyszko's fellow Horsemen and Rocca's opponent at No Mercy, Rikidozan.
Match #10: Ivan Koloff and Nikolai Volkoff (both managed by Nikita Breznikov) defeated the Road Warriors.
- The battle tonight in this ongoing war between these two tag teams was won by Koloff and Volkoff when Koloff made Road Warrior Hawk submit to his RUSSIAN BEARHUG.
- Afterward, the Road Warriors got on the microphone to mention how at last year's No Mercy they defeated The Vegas Haters in a tag team steel cage match and this year at No Mercy they are challenging Koloff and Volkoff to a tag team steel cage match!
No Mercy advertisement No Mercy presented by MLW's Smackdown brand Sunday October 18th 1. TBD (either George Hackenschmidt or Bobo Brazil) vs MLW Champion Buddy Rogers 2. Boogie Woogie Man vs Buff Bagwell (bullrope match) 7. Armstrongs vs Don Leo Jonathan (handicap match) 8. more matches TBA
Match #11, Gold Rush Tournament Finals: Bobo Brazil defeated George Hackenschmidt
- For this match to determine his challenger at No Mercy, MLW Champion Buddy Rogers provided guest color commentary.
- Before this match began, both Hackenschmidt and Brazil shook hands.
- Good match won by Brazil via the COCO BUTT.
- Brazil, who has now won the right to challenge Rogers at No Mercy, has just won the Gold Rush Tournament on Smackdown which he also previously won on RAW. With his 2 Gold Rush Tournament wins and (along with Mil Mascaras) as one half of the winners of 2 of the 3 Sammartino Invitationals, there is just something about Brazil doing extremely well in tournaments (both singles and tag) here in Major League Wrestling.
- As Brazil and Rogers (standing up at the announcers table) exchange stares, tonight's show comes to an end.
End of Show. See you next weekend when all 3 MLW brands (including the EAWA) will be back in action!

- Afterward, Bockwinkel announced that in early November the RAW brand has decided to replace Cyber Sunday with a new PPV called Fall Brawl where, as a result of defeating MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino in a Hell in a Cell match at Unforgiven, Bockwinkel will get a chance to regain the World Championship in a match against World Champion Bruiser Brody!
Match #2: The Mountie defeated Konnan by DQ.
- The DQ in this grudge match occurred when the action spilled outside of the ring where The Mountie grabbed his SHOCK STICK but was unable to use it before Konnan instead hit him with a steel chair to get the DQ call as this feud is apparently set to continue.
Match #3: Don Muraco and Cowboy Bob Orton Jr. (both managed by Sherri Martel) defeated the Killer Bees.

Match #6: The Sheik (managed by Abdullah Farouk) defeated Jim Londos
- In this matchup of former Intercontinental Champions (both of whom had impressive reigns), The Sheik won via a FIREBALL.
- The FIREBALL hurt Londos so badly that he had to be carried away on a stretcher and some EMTs even brought out some respiratory equipment as it appeared Londos was having trouble breathing.
- Afterward, Farouk got on the microphone to announce that while The Sheik will regain the Intercontinental Championship someday, first he (The Sheik) has a score to settle with RAW General Manager Bob Backlund for his (Backlund's) controversial ruling at Unforgiven that allowed The Sheik's title defense against Mil Mascaras to continue as Mascaras went on to win that match and thus The Sheik's Intercontinental Championship. Farouk then announced that Backlund has accepted The Sheik's challenge for a match at Fall Brawl!
Match #7: Intercontinental Champion Mil Mascaras defeated Chris Candido (managed by Tammy and accompanied by Tom Prichard) in a non-title match.
- Mascaras won this match via his FLYING BODYPRESS.

Match #8: Masked Superstar defeated Jimmy Snuka
- Although Snuka has been winning most of the recent matches in their feud, the Masked Superstar got the victory tonight via the COBRA HOLD after Snuka missed on the SUPERFLY LEAP.
- Afterward, as he got his hand raised in victory, the Masked Superstar was hit from behind by the RUDE AWAKENING from Rude. Who will win the triple threat match on the next RAW between Rude, Snuka, and the Masked Superstar to win a title shot against Intercontinental Champion Mil Mascaras at Fall Brawl?
Match #9: World Champion Bruiser Brody defeated The French Angel Maurice Tillet in a non-title match.
- Brody, now the last of the 4 wrestlers (Brody, George Hackenschmidt, The Sheik, and Antonino Rocca) who won a singles championship at Wrestlemania 2 to still retain his title, won this match after his 3rd straight JUMPING KNEE DROP finisher. Will Brody continue as the World Champion after he defends his title against Nick Bockwinkel (a 2 time former World Champion) at Fall Brawl?
