A fun & entertaining Royal Rumble and King Kong Bundy coming out on Top is a Good thing. I think either the 1st or Last wrestler in is pretty cool in winning the Rumble and now Bundy has a Title Shot in his sights. It's good to see Gotch retain, but Bobo Brazil was on a long road back to the Top and it's cool that he gained Gold once again...

The Royal Rumble was awesome, Vegas. Seeing King Kong Bundy win it was a mark out moment for me as I have always been a big fan of his. It should be interesting to see who he challenges at WrestleMania. Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine winning was cool too and it was definitely a great night for Sherri Martel. I really liked the emotion in the Bobo Brazil vs. Mil Mascaras match with Brazil coming away with the championship. I'm looking forward to the new talent debuting on your different brands, particularly with Blassie and Tolos being on Raw together so there may be some fireworks there. Great stuff all around

Thanks Crimson Cross and cruefan68. I am also happy with Bundy winning my main rumble and with my tag rumble being won by Valentine and Beefcake (I am going to see the Dream Team next week at Wrestle Reunion 6, perhaps I'll tell them about their victory. ;D)
But I admit I sort of wish it was not the final entries in both cases that proved to be the winner.

I didn't notice that the winners were the last to enter in both cases. I guess that is the reason everyone wants the final number in the Royal Rumble Cool you are going to meet the "Dream Team" next week. Like Bundy they were a favorite of mine back in the 80's. People like to rag on Beefcake but he held his own partnering with Valentine and I thought they were a great team myself.

I'm with Cruefan68 in liking the Dream Team and they were a Top tandem in my book too. I still like Greg Valentine of old even though his image in the last many years is horrid. Brutus Beefcake to me was the key to the team and he'll always be one of my favorites. It'll be interesting to see if they can capitalize on the Rumble Win...

People like to rag on Beefcake but he held his own partnering with Valentine and I thought they were a great team myself. That's an excellent point about how those Rumble victories increase the value of the final number and I guess it also really adds significance to the Rumbles Numbers matches I have on my shows prior to the Rumble (for example, as a result of being among the winning side in a 6 man tag Rumbles Numbers match on the previous RAW, Bundy who ended up with the final number was already guaranteed of not entering the Rumble prior to George Hackenschmidt, Jim Londos, and DDP which increased the likelihood he would indeed get a really late number.) and cruefan68, it is cool that both you and Crimson Cross also liked the Dream Team. I know there were better tag teams at the time, but I have always been a big fan of tag team wrestling and the Dream Team were the tag team champions at the time I started watching wrestling back in 1985. Although at $15-$20 per autograph I won't be able to meet every vendor guest next weekend at Wrestle Reunion 6, I am nevertheless definitely going to meet the Dream Team (provided of course Greg Valentine does not no show the event as he has missed a number of other scheduled appearances in recent years.)

BREAKING NEWS:Magnum T.A. has challenged his enemy Ivan Koloff to a feud ending Best of 7 series of matches and Koloff has accepted with Match 1 taking place this week on Friday Night Smackdown! This should be awesome. I remember the Magnum vs. Nikita series and that was incredible so hopefully "Uncle Ivan" can help revive those great memories.
