It is now time for the start of Survival of the Sinners!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #16: Survival of the Sinners September 7th, Year One Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
Pre Show: ACH and C&C Wrestle Factory defeated Pinky and Los Banditos
Cedric Alexander put away Pinky after the C&C CONNECTION COMBO
Match #1: Mikey O'Shea defeated Willie Mack in a first round match
- O'Shea scored the upset via a standing swanton to advance to the 6 way elimination finals
Match #2: Davey Richards defeated Brian Cage (accompanied by Percy Pringle III) in a first round match
- a great match that saw Richards finally prevail via his ANKLE LOCK
Match #3: Eddie Edwards defeated Scorpio Sky in a first round match
- Edwards won via DIE HARD
- as a result, both American Wolves are in the 6 way elimination finals
Match #4: ROV Champion Roderick Strong (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated 2 Cold Scorpio in a first round match
- an evenly fought contest, at one point it appeared 2 Cold had Roderick pinned after 2 straight SCORPIO SPLASHES but Martini distracted the referee allowing Roderick time to recover and proceed to win via his STRONGHOLD
Match #5: Kevin Steen defeated Michael Elgin (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) in a first round match
- Steen advanced to the 6 way elimination finals via F-CINQ after Elgin missed a deathjump
Match #6: El Generico defeated Shaun Ricker (accompanied by Percy Pringke III) in a first round match
- Ricker controlled the majority of this match until Generico managed a sudden reversal and soon afterward hit a devastating (+4) BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!! to advance to the 6 way elimination finals that as a result of the previous match include his tag team partner Steen.
Intermission. Second Half features the 4 way tag elimination #1 contender's match of the Tribe vs Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team vs Future Shock vs Young Bucks and the 6 way elimination Survival of the Sinners finale of Mikey O'Shea vs Davey Richards vs Eddie Edwards vs ROV Champion Roderick Strong vs Kevin Steen vs El Generico!

Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #16: Survival of the Sinners September 7th, Year One Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Backstage: Joey Ryan is seen being interviewed by Veda Scott
- just before the 4 way tag elimination #1 contender's match is set to start, Ryan confirms that he is still looking for a new tag team partner due to Rhett Tutus leaving to focus on a possible deal with the VWE.
Match #7: The Tribe defeated Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team, Future Shock, and Young Bucks in a 4 way tag elimination #1 contender's match
- Future Shock eliminated when Hawaiian Lion pinned Adam Cole after RESERVATION DEVASTATION
- WGTT eliminated when Hawaiian Lion pinned Shelton Benjamin after RESERVATION DEVASTATION
- Young Bucks eliminated when Hawaiian Lion got Nick Jackson to tap out to his ANKLE LOCK
- as a result of winning this match (amd in impressive fashion as they accounted for all 3 eliminations,) the Tribe will challenge the Briscoes for the ROV Tag Team Championship next month at Glory by Vegas!
Match #8: ROV Champion Roderick Strong (accompanied by Truth Martini, Michael Elgin, and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated Mikey O'Shea, Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Kevin Steen, and El Generico in the 6 way Survival of the Sinners elimination finals
- Davey pinned O'Shea after an Alarm Clock
- at this point in the match it was Roderick and two sets of tag teams (American Wolves and Steen and Generico.) Strong benefited because at this time tensions surprisingly erupted between the Wolves and Steen and Generico who proceeded to focus on fighting each other and Roderick benefited by getting to stay out of the match for a long period of time.
- Eddie pinned Steen via DIE HARD
- Roderick defeated Davey via STRONGHOLD after Martini got away with smashing Davey in the back of the head with the Book of Truth
- Roderick pinned Eddie via End of Heartache
- shortly after it got down to Roderick and Generico, Elgin blatantly tried to interfere on Roderick's behalf but Homicide- who has had recent issue with Elgin- appeared and took Elgin out of the equation by brawling with Elgin all the way to the back
- a great final fall won by Strong when he made Generico tap out to the STRONGHOLD
- as a result, nobody won a title shot to challenge Strong at Glory by Vegas.
- afterward, Roderick celebrated with the Hoopla Hotties (Courtney Rush and Jessie McKay) as Martini repeatedly shouted "Only the Strong survived!, Only the Strong survived!, Only the Strong survvied!" tonight's show comes to an end.
End of Show.

I have to agree with Crimson, that was a huge win for The Tribe and it should be interesting to see how they do in the tag title match against Mark & Jay Briscoe. I'm bummed that my pick El Generico lost to Roderick Strong in the SOTS finals and now the question is who will be able to take down Strong. Nobody getting the title shot at Glory by Vegas is a huge advantage for Strong.
My picks for ROV TV #35
Yuma & Goodtime Terex Shock & Taylor Kevin Steen

thanks again Cruefan68! It is now time for ROV TV #35!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV, Episode #35 September 9th, Year One Las Vegas, NV
In the Ring: ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness
- McGuinness starts off by saying congrats to the Tribe for winning the 4 way tag elimination match 2 days ago at Survival of the Sinners to earn a title shot against the ROV Tag Team Champions the Briscoes at Glory by Vegas when he is interrupted by House of Truth members ROV Champion Roderick Strong, Truth Martini, Michael Elgin, and the Hoopla Hotties
- Strong says Nigel can also congratulate him for winning the Survival of the Sinners competition but won't be announcing an opponent for Strong at Glory by Vegas since Strong's Survival of the Sinners victory stipulated he will not have to defend his title at Glory by Vegas.
- McGuinness says, although Strong does not have to defend the title at Glory by Vegas, Strong is not getting the night off at Glory by Vegas. Strong shrugs knowing his title will not be on the line and asks who his opponent is and McGuinness replies it is actually opponents and starts listing them off:
2 Cold Scorpio- who had Strong apparently defeated in the first round of Survival of the Sinners but lost thanks to outside distraction from Martini
Willie Mack- the opponent in Strong's most recent title defense at Debauchery Before Dishonor
Scorpio Sky- the opponent in Strong's title defense last month at Boiling Point
- McGuinness says this 4 way elimination match at Glory by Vegas will be a Defy or Deny match in which 2 Cold, Mack, or Sky can earn a title shot by winning the match or if Strong can win the match then neither 2 Cold, Mack, or Sky will get another title shot during Strong's current reign.
Match #1: Terex defeated Cedric the Hitman
- Terex easily won this match via his BIG SPLASH
Backstage: the Briscoes encounter the Tribe and congratulate them for winning the 4 way tag at Survival of the Sinners and say they look forward to defending the ROV Tag Team championship against them at Glory by Vegas. After the Briscoes leave, the Tribe is confronted by Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. WGTT say the Tribe, who WGTT defeated in a standard tag match at Planet Hollywood, got lucky at Survival of the Sinners and it should be them (WGTT) challenging for the ROV Tag Team Championship at Glory by Vegas instead and they seek to prove it by defeating the Tribe in a match once again next week on ROV TV!
Match #2: PPrAy defeated Johnny Yuma and Johnny Goodtime
- during this match, conflict between Yuma and Goodtime emerged once again leading to Goodtime walking out and leaving Yuma alone in the ring. Outnumbered, Yuma suffered the pinfall defeat via DROP DEAD GORGEOUS
Backstage: ROV TV Champion Adam Pearce voices his frustration to Martini that 3 wrestlers who have already lost to Strong are getting another chance to challenge him for the ROV Championship at Glory by Vegas while he still has not received a shot at the ROV Championship and Martini reminds him that will always be the case as long as he is the ROV TV Champion since the ROV Constitution prohibits a wrestler from holding more than 1 singles titles. Martini leaves and Pearce looks down at his ROV TV Championship and a smile flashes over his face.
Match #3: Natural Selection and Mikey O'Shea (all managed by Percy Pringle III) defeated Future Shock and Ryan Taylor
- in a matchup of the future stars of ROV, Ricker pinned Kyle O'Reilly via the GRAVY TRAIN
Backstage: Goodtime is told by an angry McGuinness that there will be a rematch between him and Yuma vs PPrAy next week on ROV TV and if Goodtime walks out again next week then Goodtime will be fired from ROV!
On Tap with James Morgan: ACH is the guest
- Morgan asks what ACH stands for and suggests Absolutely Completely Horrible and in response gets confronted face to face with ACH. Morgan then gives ACH a low blow and as ACH doubles over Morgan says sorry and he guesses ACH stands for Accidents Can Happen and then viciously applies CLOSING TIME until leaving ACH down in the ring.
Show #17: Glory by Vegas (an IPPV) promo Saturday October 5, Year One 1. Defy or Deny elimination non-title match: ROV Champion Roderick Strong vs Scorpio Sky vs Willie Mack vs 2 Cold Scorpio 2. the Tribe vs ROV Tag Team Champions the Briscoes 3. more matches TBA
Match #4: Eddie Edwards (accompanied by Davey Richards) defeated Kevin Steen (accompanied by El Generico)
- Edwards, who eliminated Steen 2 days ago in the final match at Survival of the Sinners where tensions erupted between the American Wolves and Steen and Generico, scored another victory over Steen via DIE HARD. Afterward, as tensions between the 2 sides again threatened to explode, McGuinness arrived and said now is not the time but at Glory by Vegas it will be the American Wolves vs Steen and Generico!
End of Show.

Another good show and I've watched a few PPrAy matches and I like that team and I'm glad they defeated Yuma & Goodtime. The war between those two teams is really cool and I want PPrAy to leave those other two behind and go for the ROV Tag Straps...
