LEGENDS WRESTLING FEDERATION The action so far:Buddy Rogers wins a 16 man tournament to crown the LWF champion defeating Bobo Brazil in the finals. Later that night he informs the press that he is going to the Bahamas and to contact him when a contender his been sifted from the rabble. The Road Warriors win the tag team championship tournament by defeating the Valiant Brothers. Jimmy Snuka and Bob Orton Sr. have started a bloody feud resulting from their double disqualification elimination during the world title tournament. Ted DiBiase intends to prove that Bobo Brazil does not have the class or refinement to be number one contender let alone world champion. Giant Baba by pin (roll up in the corner) Harley Race def. Gorgeous George by pin (Piledriver) This match almost went the 30 min. time limit as George refused to go down. Harley nodded his respect after the match. Playboy Buddy Rose w/Larry Sweeney def. King Kong Bundy by pin (DDT) Bob Orton, Sr. def. Red Bastien by pin (Piledriver) This match was a war with Bastien ending up a bloody mess. Can Orton afford to make another enemy with Jimmy Snuka still chasing after him? CARD #7 The Omni, Atlanta The Destroyer def. Jimmy Snuka by submission (Figure Four Leglock) Nick Bockwinkle def. Ox Baker by DQ (Baker attacked the ref) Killer Kowalski def. Giant Baba by pin (Piledriver) Playboy Buddy Rose w/Larry Sweeney def. Gorgeous George by pin (Bombs Away) Bob Orton, Sr. vs. King Kong Bundy double DQ Orton continues his violent streak with a uncontrollable brawl outside the ring forcing the referee to disqualify both men. Ted DiBiase def. Buddy Rogers by submission (Million Dollar Sleeper) DiBiase comes to the ring with a briefcase. It's contents are a mystery to no one. He grabs the microphone and tells the champ that if he's smart he can walk away with the briefcase. Rogers looks as if he is thinking it over and then goes to smack DiBiase. Ted is ready for him and the match is on. Both competitors make a good showing but DiBiase maintains advantage through most of the match and gets the win to become the new LWF World Heavyweight Champion. CARD #9 Boston Gardens The Destroyer def. Red Bastien by pin (Sensational Suplex) Nick Bockwinkle def. Jimmy Snuka by submission (Figure Four Leglock) Ox Baker def. Killer Kowalski by DQ Kowalski is disqualified during a ringside brawl after hitting Baker with the ring bell. Larry Sweeney def. Dewey Robertson by pin (12 Large Elbow Drop) The Valentines def. Nikolai Volkoff & The Iron Sheik by pin Johnny pinned Sheik after an Atomic Skullcrusher. The Road Warriors def. the Valiants by pin (Doomsday Device) The LoD retain there tag team titles after a hard fought match.

LEGENDS WRESTLING FEDERATION 2013 CARD #12 McNichols Arena, Denver The Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette def. The Killer Bees by pin Stan Lane pins B. Brian Blair after Lane reverses Blair's sunset flip and grabs Cornette's tennis racket to leverage a pin. Backstage LWF World Champion Ted DiBiase is talking with the Texas Hangmen. He offers them the contents of his briefcase if Bobo Brazil happens to be injured in his match tonight. The Hangmen promise to get the job done and DiBiase departs laughing. Bobo Brazil def. Killer by pin (Coco Butt) Brazil withstands an early surge by Killer and then proceeds to give the masked man the beating of his life. Brazil puts down Killer with a Coco-Butt but Psycho runs to the ring and, while Killer distracts the ref, gives Brazil a devastating spinning neckbreaker. Killer goes for the cover but Bobo kicks out at 2 3/4. Brazil soon recovers and hits Killer with a clothesline from the top rope. Killer rolls out of the ring and while the ref holds Bobo back, Psycho switches with him but Bobo reacts quickly and pins Psycho after a Bobo body slam. Killer jumps in the ring but Bobo clears out. The Texas Hangmen have failed to collect the Million Dollar Man's bounty. Bob Orton Sr. def. Gorgeous George by pin (Piledriver) Orton continues his rapid climb up the rankings. This time without drawing blood. King Kong Bundy def. Playboy Buddy Rose w/Larry Sweeney by DQ Rose dominates Bundy for most of the match but can't keep Bundy down. Bundy retaliates and Rose bails from the ring where he and Sweeney gang pile Bundy. The ref calls for the bell, disqualifying Rose. Giant Baba def. Frank Gotch by pin (Neckbreaker Drop) Gotch out-wrestles Baba the entire match until Baba's size finally overcomes the much smaller man. Buddy Rogers def. Harley Race by submission (Figure Four Grapevine) Rogers tries to brawl with Race early but he isn't a match for the rugged Kansas City grappler. Rogers eventually maneuvers Race into his finisher but took a lot of punishment getting there. An angry King Kong Bundy is interviewed at the close of the show. He says this is twice now that Rose and Sweeney have tried to take him out. He says he is getting a partner to take on the flamboyant duo. CARD #13 Philadelphia Spectrum Nikolai Volkoff & The Iron Sheik def. The Valentines by pin Trent Acid def. Dewey Robertson by pin (Acid Bomb) Trent Acid destroyed Robertson in his LWF debut. Larry Sweeney def. Iron Mike DiBiase by DQ Sweeney and DiBiase put on an exciting show. There was a lot of back and forth action and brawling outside of the ring. A frustrated DiBiase hits Sweeney with a chair and is disqualified. Ox Baker def. Jimmy Snuka by pin (Heart Punch) Ox overpowers Snuka right away and puts him down with his dreaded Heart Punch. Killer Kowalski def. Red Bastien by pin Kowalski decimates his smaller opponent. Bastien escaped defeat on a few occasions but is taken out by a clothesline from the top rope. The Destroyer def. Nick Bockwinkle by pin Bockwinkle was off his game this night as the Destroyer made him look like a mid-carder. The Destroyer pinned his opponent after Bockwinkle jumped from the top rope and was hit by a dropkick.

LEGENDS WRESTLING FEDERATION 2013 CARD #14 Omaha Civic Center The Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette def. The Valentines by pin A good back and forth match that ended with Greg Valentine being pinned after a Rocket Launcher. Gorgeous George def. the Destoyer by pin These two old rivals tie-up again and George comes out on top after an airplane spin. King Kong Bundy is waiting in the ring as Playboy Buddy Rose and Larry Sweeney come out for their match. Rose asks Bundy where his partner is. Bundy says he doesn't need a partner to beat these two chumps. Handicap MatchKing Kong Bundy def. Playboy Buddy Rose & Larry Sweeney by pin Bundy comes out thrashing Rose and hits an Avalanche. Sweeney breaks up the count. Sweet 'N' Sour is tagged in and gets the same treatment. Rose has to break a pin attempt. Sweeney keeps trying to tag out but Rose seems to be short-arming him. Bundy then crushes Sweeney with an Avalanche and gets the five-count. Frank Gotch def. Bob Orton, Sr. by submission Gotch makes short work of Orton, submitting him with a Gotch Toehold. Harley Race def. Giant Baba by pin Race methodically took apart Baba. The Japanese star got a little bit of offense in but a Piledriver by Race ended his night. Buddy Rogers def. Bobo Brazil by submission (Figure Four Grapevine) Rogers performs a lot better in this rematch for the number one contender spot. He works over Bobo pretty good early on. He mounts the top turnbuckle and comes down on Bobo with a double axe handle. Bobo falls on the referee who is crushed by the big man. Rogers slaps on the Figure Four Grapevine but the ref cannot check to see if Bobo quits. Rogers tries to revive the ref as Bobo recovers and cradles the Nature Boy but only gets a two count. Bobo starts to get the upper hand when down the aisle walks the LWF World Heavyweight Champion, Ted DiBiase. The champ has the belt over one shoulder and is carrying his metal briefcase. The match continues with Bobo maintaining advantage. After another Coco Butt DiBiase jumps onto the ring apron and cracks Bobo over the head with the briefcase. Rogers covers his downed opponent but Bobo kicks out! Bobo tries fighting back but DiBiase did his damage and Rogers gets the win with a Figure Four Grapevine. Backstage an angry Bobo Brazil swears to get revenge on Ted DiBiase. Elsewhere, DiBiase is seen talking to his next challenger, the man he beat for the belt, Buddy Rogers. Ted pats the briefcase and nods at the number one contender before walking away. CARD #15 Hartford Civic Center The Valiants def. Nikolai Volkoff & The Iron Sheik by DQ Volkoff single-handedly beats up the Valiants. When Sheik is tagged in he starts brawling outside the ring with Johnny and gets disqualified for using a chair. Trent Acid def. Dewey Robertson by DQ This was a balanced match with some good high flying spots. Trent tosses his foe out of the ring and Robertson gets fired up, smashing Trent headfirst into the announcer's table, drawing a disqualification. Iron Mike DiBiase def. Jimmy Snuka by DQ DiBiase starts brawling with Snuka right away. The Fijian fights back and loses his temper. He clobbers DiBiase with the ring bell after the referee warned him, and is disqualified. Snuka doesn't seem to care. Red Bastien def. Ox Baker by pin Bastien's speed gives him the early advantage in this match but Baker's size eventually evens things up. Red gets the win after Ox tries a jump from the turnbuckle only to land on Bastien's raised knees. With the wind knocked out of him, Baker is easily pinned. The Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering def. The Texas Hangmen by DQ The Warriors see this match as a warm up for their next tag title defense but the Hangmen give them a fight. The LoD really work over Psycho, getting multiple near falls. The Hangmen employ their own double team tactics to put a hurting on Animal. After a couple of times, the ref catches them using their noose to strangle Animal, and awards the win to the Warriors. Nick Bockwinkle def. Killer Kowalski by submission Bockwinkle is happy to end this match quickly with the Bockwinkle Sleeper. He knows Kowalski's Claw Hold has had the big man on a roll.

LEGENDS WRESTLING FEDERATION 2013 CARD #16 Keil Auditorium, St. Louis The Texas Hangmen def. The Killer Bees by pin The Hangmen get the quick win after choking out B. Brian Blair with their bullrope. Playboy Buddy Rose w/Larry Sweeney def. Gorgeous George by DQ Sweeney passes Rose a foreign object that he uses on George who rolls out of the ring to get his wits. Rose comes after him and an angry George bashes the Playboy's head into the announcer's table and is disqualified. Bob Orton, Sr. def. King Kong Bundy by pin This match was a slobber knocker. Neither man would go down. As Bundy started to wear down, Orton drops him with a Piledriver for the win. Frank Gotch def. Giant Baba by submission Both men struggle to get the upper hand. Once Gotch gets some steam, he catches Baba in the Gotch Toehold to get the win. Bobo Brazil def. Harley Race by pin
The match starts with each man countering his opponents attempts at offense. Bobo starts getting through Race's defense and ends up delivering several Coco Butts leading to a win. World Heavyweight Championship Buddy Rogers def. Ted DiBiase by pin Before the bell rings, DiBiase offers Rogers his briefcase. Rogers wastes no time attacking DiBiase for trying to buy him off. The match is all Rogers from the get-go. DiBiase gets in some offense late in the match but it's Rogers who pins DiBiase, using the ropes, to regain the Legends Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Championship. Ted DiBiase is throwing a fit backstage. He yells about how the ref is blind and Rogers used illegal leverage from the ropes to rob him of his title. Before he can finish his tirade, he is attacked by Bobo Brazil. He gets away before too much damage is done and Bobo says DiBiase is going to have to face him again sooner or later. CARD #17 Showboat, Las Vegas The Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette def. Nikolai Volkoff & The Iron Sheik by pin Eaton and Lane used excellent teamwork in this win with Lane pinning Sheik after a cross body block. Trent Acid def. Larry Sweeney by submission Sweeney was completely ineffective in this match. Trent forced him to submit to an Acid Lock. Iron Mike DiBiase def. Ox Baker by pin Ox brutalizes DiBiase in the early stages of this match. When they go to the outside, Iron Mike surprisingly comes out on top. From that point DiBiase was in the drivers seat and finished Baker off with a Top Rope Knee Drop. Red Bastien def. Killer Kowalski by pin Kowalski batters the smaller man but when he comes off the top rope he accidentally downs the ref. Kowalski puts the Claw Hold on Bastien but there is no one to see if he submits. When Kowalski revives the ref, Bastien tries a roll-up but only gets a two count. Bastien eventually takes over and beats Kowalski with an Atomic Drop. United States Championship Nick Bockwinkle def. The Destroyer by submission Both men fight hard to become the new United States Champion but it's Bockwinkle who gets the gold after putting the Destroyer out with the Bockwinkle Sleeper. LWF World Tag Team Championship The Valiants def. The Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering by DQ Animal begins the match pounding on Johnny Valiant. After a while, the Valiant's dirty tactics and double teaming have Animal in trouble. After a few pin attempts Animal manages to tag in Hawk who starts cleaning house. When he comes off the turnbuckle with a Flying Clothesline, Johnny ducks and the referee is taken out. While the ref is down LoD takes control, but when the ref recovers he disqualifies Hawk and the Valiants get the win but not the gold. Current Rankings: Singles 1. Buddy Rogers 2. Ted DiBiase 3.
