YEAR SEVEN, CARD NO. 2
Jacksonville Civic Center
Commissioner Chad came out and called out the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering. He said it was hard for him to believe that the Tag Team of the Year managed to lose their recently regained tag titles one card later. The commissioner added that there would be no rematch with the Exiles right away, because they, once again, needed to rebuild their reputation, and they could start with … S+S!
The Road Warriors (w/ Paul Ellering) d. S+S when Larry Sharpe fell victim to the DOOMSDAY DEVICE. The Road Warriors actually had some problems putting away S+S, who showed little offense but remained resilient for a while against the physicality of their opponents. The Road Warriors definitely were not in a good mood afterward.
Curt Hennig d. Johnny Rodz using his HENNIG PLEX. Afterward, he took the mic and said, “Magnum TA, when you get back from your injury, I’ll finish the job I started and take the U.S. title to boot. Get ready to fail before perfection!”
The Oilmen, Danny Hodge and Yukon Eric, came to ringside, and Hodge took the mic and said: “I don’t usually make requests, but this time I am. Naptown Dragons, we had a great match on the last card, and I want to have another one on this card, with a slightly different result, of course. So come on down!” Down came the Naptown Dragons and Sir Oliver Humperdink.
The Oilmen d. the Naptown Dragons (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) by DQ when Yukon Eric and Dustin Lee ended up outside the ring, and Sir Oliver clunked Yukon Eric on the head with his cane. Unlike their last match, which was a long, hotly contested affair, this one ended relatively quickly after Danny Hodge broke out of a Naptown Dragons offensive attack and tagged in Yukon Eric.
Bryan Danielson (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) d. Don Leo Jonathan by DQ when Jonathan gave Danielson a rolling back splash on the ground outside the ring. The match was a competitive one, although Jonathan held the advantage for most of it but appeared frustrated that he couldn’t put away Danielson.
Bill Apter’s “Hot Seat” once again featured Commander Lou Albano, who said he was still rankled by the fact that the commissioner was not letting Andre the Giant wrestle for the BCW world heavyweight championship again Jimmy Snuka, especially since Rob Van Dam was getting a shot on this card. Albano said Commissioner Chad will need to “tread carefully” around the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Albano then added that he had gotten Andre a tag match against the BCW world tag-team champions, the Exiles. “Nontitle, of course,” he added, then smiled.
Bobo Brazil d. Larry Sweeney (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) by countout when Brazil unleashed a big hammer punch on Sweeney outside the ring and Sweeney couldn’t make the 10-count. Afterward, Chris Hero and Ricky Landell came to ringside and attacked Brazil, apparently injuring him.
Commander Lou Albano came to ringside with Mad Dog Vachon and Andre the Giant. He took a mic and called out George Hackenschmidt and Mil Mascaras. “Hey, Exiles, tell you what – my guys win this one, you give them a title shot the next card. What do you think?” Hackenschmidt and Mascaras came to ringside with the tag belts, conferred for a moment, then Hackenschmidt said, “Deal!”
The BCW world tag-team champions The Exiles d. Mad Dog Vachon and Andre the Giant (w/ Commander Lou Albano) in a nontitle match when Mil Mascaras connected on a FLYING BODY PRESS against Vachon to get the pin. Andre looked good during his turn in the ring, but George Hackenschmidt was able to distract him long enough for Mascaras to get the pin. Afterward, Albano was furious with the turn of events as the tag champs got out of the ring before Andre could do some post-match damage.
Ox Baker d. “Bloody” Harker Dirge (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) when he pinned him following a vicious clothesline. Their hostile feud continued with another hard-fought match that saw four pin attempts and a lot of battling in and out of the ring. Afterward, Baker got out of the ring before the rest of the House of Humperdink could get in it.
Jimmy Snuka came out with the heavyweight belt. He said he is a fighting champion, and he wanted to give others a shot at the title. So it figured that Lou Albano would stick his nose in, then have a fit despite botching up the heavyweight match at the last card. But Snuka had to admit that for a change, Albano was correct – he would be facing Rob Van Dam in a best-of-three-falls match, and it was coming up next.
BCW world heavyweight champion Jimmy Snuka d. Rob Van Dam in a best-of-three-falls match, 2-1.
In the first fall, there was an amazing series of back-and-forth exchanges, with each man getting two pin attempts. Eventually, Snuka fell to the outside of the ring, and as Van Dam went after him, Mad Dog Vachon snuck to ringside and hit Snuka from behind with a chair, prompting a DQ. Van Dam was upset at the interference. Snuka took a minute to recover as officials ushered Vachon from ringside.
In the second fall, Van Dam connected on a split-legged moonsault against Snuka, who was still woozy from the out-of-ring action, to get the pin.
In the final fall, the action again was back and forth, but Van Dam misjudged a leap after being distracted by Commander Lou Albano at ringside and ended up outside the ring. When he crawled back in, Snuka nailed him with a SUPERFLY LEAP to get the pin.
Afterward, the two shook hands. Then, as Snuka celebrated, Albano took a mic and said: “Just remember who helped you keep that belt, Snuka. When you do lose it, it will be when I say so, and it will be to the wrestler I choose!”

I really enjoy reading all the action that goes on in your fed. I was impressed by how dominate the Fabulous Kangaroos were, and was shocked with how they ended up leaving! All the story lines are interesting and awesome. Keep up the good work. I eagerly await what happens next between Andre and Snuka!!!

YEAR SEVEN, CARD NO. 3
Eddie Graham Sports Stadium Rick Rude (w/ Ida Mae) d. Johnny Rodz, pinning him after a top-rope knee drop. Rude mostly toyed with Rodz and looked angry at having to face him in the ring at all. He also mostly ignored Ida Mae.
Sir Oliver Humperdink came out and said he had some more tests for his “House students,” and Mr. Candido and Mr. Credible had been kind enough to provide two opportunities. Down to ringside came “Bloody” Harker Dirge, to face Chris Candido.
“Bloody” Harker Dirge (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) d. Chris Candido (w/ Tammy) by DQ when Ox Baker came to ringside and starting pounding on Dirge while he was outside the ring. Officials eventually were able to get Baker to the back.
After the match, Candido, Sunny and Dirge all stayed at ringside to provide addition protection for the next match.
Justin Credible (w/ Chris Candido, Sunny) d. Larry Sweeney (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) when Credible hit a THAT’S INCREDIBLE and pinned Sweeney. Sweeney was taunting Credible when he had the advantage early on, saying, “Who is the hardcore one now?” He even hit a 12 LARGE ELBOW DROP, but Credible kicked out, eventually got the advantage, beat on Sweeney a good bit, then finished him.
Ox Baker came back out and said it was his personal goal to destroy the House of Humperdink. He called out anyone from the House who was gutsy enough to face him, right here, right now! Out came Ricky Landell, who joined Sir Oliver Humperdink at ringside.
Ox Baker d. Ricky Landell (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) when he pinned Landell after a running clothesline. Earlier in the match, Baker caught Landell with a HEART PUNCH, but was unable to get the pin due to interference by Humperdink. Landell had moments where he took control of the match, but he had a hard time matching Baker’s raw power.
Bill Apter’s “Hot Seat” featured the Road Warriors, who were angry that they hadn’t received a shot to get “their” BCW tag titles back. Paul Ellering said other teams might get hurt in the meantime until they got back what was theirs. Hawk then told the Exiles not to get “too comfy” with those belts, because they would be “going back to where they belong” pretty soon.
Chris Hero (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink, Larry Sweeney) d. Jushin Liger when Hero locked on his HANGMAN’S CLUTCH. Hero dominated the first part of the match, only to taunt Liger and pay for it, as Liger rallied for two pin attempts. Finally, Liger was on the top rope when he got a push from an unseen Sweeney and crashed to the canvas, making him easy pickings for Hero.
Commissioner Chad came out and called out Andre the Giant and Mad Dog Vachon. They came to ringside with Commander Lou Albano. The commissioner asked them if they were a “serious” tag team. They nodded “yes.” Then he asked if they would like to test their mettle with a challenge from a former world-champion tag team, and Albano yelled “Yes!” Out came the Naptown Dragons. Both Albano and fans seemed disappointed that it wasn’t the Road Warriors.
Andre the Giant and Mad Dog Vachon (w/ Commander Lou Albano) d. the Naptown Dragons (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) by DQ when Scotty Vortekz hit Andre with a chair as the giant stalked a battered Dustin Lee outside the ring. Lee took three sit-down splashes in the ring and crawled out to catch what little breath he had left. After Vortekz hit Andre with the chair, a merely stunned Andre turned around to retaliate, and the Dragons quickly vacated ringside.
Johnny Valentine d. Bryan Danielson (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) when he rolled up Danielson after coming off the top turnbuckle with a cross body block. Valentine started on Danielson before the bell rang to start the match, belting Danielson and hitting an ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER. Danielson proved to be pretty resilient in fighting off the pin, but he never fully recovered during the match.
BCW world tag-team champions the Exiles d. the Oilmen when Mil Mascaras caught Danny Hodge with his standing surfboard and turned it into a submission win. The match was pretty even most of the time, until Mascaras and George Hackenschmidt finally gained some momentum and secured the victory.

YEAR SEVEN, CARD No. 4
Leon County Civic Center – Tallahassee
Necro Butcher (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink), in his return from injury, d. Johnny Rodz using his TIGER DRIVER finisher. Butcher appeared very aggressive in his return.
“Bloody” Harker Dirge (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) d. Jushin Liger in a long, great match when Dirge locked on the DIRT NAP and got the pin. The battle went back and forth for what seemed like forever, with neither man getting much of a sustained advantage before Dirge finally locked on his finisher. Afterward, Humperdink stood over a fallen Liger and said, “This is a harbinger of things to come. Beware, BCW.”
Ivan Koloff, in his return from injury, d. Larry Sharpe when Sharpe submitted to his RUSSIAN BEARHUG. Koloff came to the ring without Commander Lou Albano, and he was sluggish early against Sharpe. But he eventually turned the tables and slapped on his finisher.
Afterward, Albano came to ringside, said a quick “Nice job” to Koloff, then took the mic and said, “Exiles? Tonight we come after your tag titles again, and this time we’ll get them, and my mighty team of Andre and Mad Dog will leave you broken and bereft!” Koloff looked disappointed that Andre had taken his place as the tag partner of Vachon.
Justin Credible and Chris Candido (w/ Tammy) d. the Road Warriors (w/ Paul Ellering) by DQ when Animal took the Singapore cane that Credible had brought to ringside and whacked Credible with it outside the ring until the referee called for the DQ. Animal was enraged because Credible and Candido jumped on the Warriors before the bell rang and held the advantage for most of the match. Hawk seemed to do little to turn their momentum during his time in the ring. Afterward, Ellering had to get between the two Warriors and remind them to “regain your focus!”
The Oilmen were the guests on Bill Apter’s “Hot Seat.” They talked about how they had remained a team for a long time, and they were looking to finally climb the ladder to a title. Hodge said he thought it might be their time, considering the tag-team division was in a bit of turmoil. Just then, the Naptown Dragons and Larry Sweeney came to ringside, took out Yukon Eric, then injured Danny Hodge using Sir Oliver’s cane. Sir Oliver also came to ringside, took the mic and said, “This is war!” He and his House then left ringside as officials rushed to check on the Oilmen.
Before Sir Oliver Humperdink could get to the back, Johnny Valentine showed up at ringside, grabbed a mic and said, “If you want a war, Sir Oliver, send one of your punks down here so he can take a beating!” Humperdink returned to ringside with Ricky Landell.
Johnny Valentine d. Ricky Landell (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) by DQ when Landell and Valentine ended up outside the ring, only to have Valentine be attacked by the Naptown Dragons, Larry Sweeney and Necro Butcher, prompting the DQ. Afterward, Landell lunged off the top rope onto Valentine, who had been stretched out on a ringside table by the other members of the House of Humperdink, and Valentine was injured. Afterward, Humperdink and his House left ringside without saying anything.
Andre the Giant and Mad Dog Vachon (w/ Commander Lou Albano, Ivan Koloff) d. the Exiles to become the new BCW world tag-team champions. Unlike their previous meeting, George Hackenschmidt and Mil Mascaras couldn’t isolate Vachon in the ring enough, and Andre made them pay by dominating the match and then pinning Hackenschmidt following a huge body slam. Afterward, as the Foreign Legion was celebrating, Mascaras, in frustration, clipped Andre in the back of the knee from behind, injuring him. Albano looked on in concern as Andre held his knee and bellowed.
Rob Van Dam d. “the Belgian Brawler” Dupae Rupa (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) when he nailed his FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH and got the pin. Rupa tried to attack Van Dam before the bell rung, but that was a big mistake, as Van Dam took over the match and basically wiped the mat with Rupa. Afterward, members of the House of Humperdink ran to ringside to attack Van Dam, but he escaped through the crowd before they could get there.
Commissioner Chad came out and said it had been quite an eventful card. He also said that Curt Hennig had been a real pain in the backside lately, so he called him out. When Hennig came out, the commissioner said, “You’re complaining that you need a solid warm-up match before you face Magnum TA for the U.S. title at the Battle Bowl – no more of these ‘scrubs.’ Well, would a nontitle match against the BCW world heavyweight champion suit you?” Hennig sneered as Jimmy Snuka headed to the ring.
Curt Hennig d. BCW world heavyweight champion Jimmy Snuka in a nontitle match when he pinned Snuka following a running lariat coming out of the turnbuckle. Snuka, who was controlling the match, had thrown Hennig into the turnbuckle, only to be distracted by the appearance at ringside of a taunting Commander Lou Albano. That allowed Hennig to get the surprise attack, rollup and pin. Afterward, as Hennig mockingly celebrated, Snuka pounded the mat in frustration, while Albano said, “I’ll be over soon enough, Snuka – the belt, and your career!”

YEAR SEVEN, CARD NO. 5
Fort Walton Beach Civic Auditorium
The card opened with Commissioner Chad out to announce that there would be a tag-turmoil match on the next card to decide who would face the tag champs at the upcoming Bithlo Bash PPV. That brought out Commander Lou Albano of the Foreign Legion, who said that there was no way the tag belts could be defended then, as an injured Andre the Giant wouldn’t be ready. The commissioner said he was sorry to hear it, but the tag belts WOULD be defended. He said maybe Mad Dog Vachon could find another partner … like maybe his old one – Ivan Koloff!
Albano stomped away angrily, but he was replaced by Sir Oliver Humperdink. Humperdink said that it was “unfortunate” that a number of BCW wrestlers had been injured lately, but he had a solution: Why not give Bryan Danielson a shot at Jimmy Snuka’s world heavyweight title at Battle Bowl. He was sure that could help “quell” things like the attacks on wrestlers. Before the commissioner could answer, Rob Van Dam came down to ringside and said he “crushed” Danielson the last time they met, and he was ready for another shot at Snuka.
Commissioner Chad angrily said that the attacks on the wrestlers had better stop, or there would be repercussions. He also said that he hadn’t decided on an opponent for Snuka, since there were still many “worthy” candidates. Humperdink then interrupted to say that perhaps it would be better if Van Dam, whom he has “much respect for,” got another title shot instead, but the commissioner shot back that he was “suspicious” of Van Dam’s possible links to the House of Humperdink. While Van Dam shook his head “no,” the commissioner said the highflyer would get a chance to prove it on this card, as he would face Snuka in a nontitle match.
Claudio Castagnoli (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink), in his return from injury, d. Johnny Rodz when he connected on his RICOLA BOMB. Castagnoli looked a little rusty, and it took him some time before he could vanquish the veteran Rodz.
S+S d. Don Leo Jonathan and Ray Stevens by DQ when Jonathan slammed George South onto a table at ringside. The new tag team, apparently formed for the tag-turmoil match, got off to a rocky start, as Jonathan let his temper get the best of him.
Chris Hero (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink & Claudio Castagnoli) d. Justin Credible (w/ Chris Candido, Sunny) when he connected on his HERO’S WELCOME finisher. The match found Candido on the defensive for most of it, but it took a while before Hero finished him off.
Commissioner Chad came out and called out the Road Warriors. As they arrived in the ring, the commissioner said he thought the Warriors were still shaky, still not back to their championship form. He said they had a chance to get back on top of the heap at the tag-turmoil match, but they’d have to prove themselves against a lot of other teams, including this new one who wanted to prove themselves against the Road Warriors right now – the Bloody Butchers, Harker Dirge and Necro Butcher!
The Bloody Butchers (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) d. the Road Warriors (w/ Paul Ellering) when “Bloody” Harker Dirge caught Hawk coming off the top turnbuckle and turned it into a body slam and a quick pin while pulling on Hawk’s tights. Afterward, as he celebrated, an angry Hawk and Animal combined to put a beating on Dirge and Butcher, with Butcher being injured in the process. Afterward, Ellering grabbed the microphone and said, “It seems that the members of the House of Humperdink can get injured, too, and this tag team has had a very rough start to their new endeavor!”
Jushin Liger d. Ricky Landell (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) when he connected on his FISHERMAN’S BUSTER finisher and got the pin. Landell actually controlled more than half of the match and got three pin attempts against Liger, but he couldn’t put him away, despite interference by Sir Oliver Humperdink.
BCW world tag-team champions Mad Dog Vachon and Ivan Koloff (w/ Commander Lou Albano) d. the Naptown Dragons (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink, Larry Sweeney) in a nontitle match when Koloff pinned Scotty Vortekz after hitting him with a chain (unseen by the referee). Vachon handled most of the action for his team, as Koloff looked a little shaky early on in filling in for Andre the Giant, but was able to finish the job on a battered Vortekz, who was prevented from doing much tagging by Vachon. Humperdink and Albano eyed each other warily throughout the match.
As Sir Oliver headed to the back with his dejected tag team, Commissioner Chad came out and said, “Whoa, Sir Oliver, Larry, where are you guys going? I have someone who wanted to see you!” Out came Diamond Dallas Page, returning from injury.
Larry Sweeney (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) d. Diamond Dallas Page when he connected on his 12 LARGE ELBOW DROP after Page had been tripped up by Humperdink at ringside. Page dominated most of the match, but couldn’t get the pin. Afterward, Sweeney and Humperdink celebrated in the ring until Page chased them out and to the back.
Rob Van Dam d. world heavyweight champion Jimmy Snuka by DQ in a nontitle match when Bryan Danielson got involved and attacked Van Dam outside the ring. Van Dam and Snuka had been tussling in the ring when Van Dam missed a dive onto Snuka in the turnbuckle and ended up outside the ring. That’s when Danielson started putting the boots to him, with Sir Oliver Humperdink cheering him on. Officials ran out to separate the men while Snuka looked on, baffled by the turn of events, as Humperdink and Danielson had started the match in the corner of Van Dam!

YEAR SEVEN, CARD NO. 6
Lakeland Civic Center
U.S. heavyweight champion Magnum TA returned from injury and d. Johnny Rodz in a nontitle match after connecting on his BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX. Rodz put up a good defense against Magnum’s attack, but eventually fell to the finisher. Afterward, the fans cheered loudly at Magnum’s return to action.
“The Belgian Brawler” Dupae Rupa (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) d. Bruiser Brody when Rupa hit his BELGIAN WAFFLE finisher after Humperdink distracted Brody, who had been controlling the match up to that point. Brody was angry afterward, while Rupa and Humperdink got out of the ring as quickly as possible.
Jushin Liger d. Rick Rude (w/ Ida Mae) when he caught Rude with a clothesline coming out of the turnbuckle and got the quick pin. Afterward, Rude was furious with Ida Mae for not providing enough distraction for Liger, ignoring his own mistakes he made during the match, when he was on the defensive most of the time.
Sir Oliver Humperdink came out with Necro Butcher and called out the “greatest pain in our backside,” Ox Baker, so they could “finish things once and for all.”
Necro Butcher (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) d. Ox Baker by DQ when Baker broke a chair across Butcher’s back while both wrestlers were outside the ring – where they spent most of their match anyway. After the DQ, Baker propped up Butcher and gave him a major HEART PUNCH, seriously injuring Butcher. He then turned to Humperdink and said, “Now we’re finished – at least him and me are!”
Curt Hennig d. Yukon Eric when he connected on a HENNIG PLEX. Hennig controlled much of the offense in the match, and after finishing off Yukon Eric, he took the mic and said, “Magnum TA, I’m coming for that belt very, very soon.”
Rob Van Dam came out and called out Bryan Danielson after what happened at the last card when Danielson interfered in his match with BCW world heavyweight champion Jimmy Snuka. Instead, out came Ricky Landell from the House of Humperdink. Landell said Danielson was a little too busy to beat up Van Dam again, but he said he would be happy to teach Van Dam a lesson!
Rob Van Dam d. Ricky Landell (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) when he gave Landell a leg drop across a guardrail, then threw him back into the ring and got the pin. Van Dam appeared to work out a little bit of frustration about Danielson by pummeling Landell before getting the pin, then fled the ring as various members of the House of Humperdink, including Danielson, tried to enter the ring to attack Van Dam.
As the House of Humperdink members were still in the ring, out came the commissioner. He said it looked like Bryan Danielson was healthy, which was good, because someone had a score to settle with him – BCW world heavyweight champion Jimmy Snuka. And that score would be settled now, in a nontitle match, with no other members of the House of Humperdink at ringside, including Sir Oliver! He threw a fit, but eventually headed to the back with the other members of his faction.
BCW world heavyweight champion Jimmy Snuka d. Bryan Danielson in a great, long match when Snuka converted on a SUPERFLY LEAP to pin Danielson. It came shortly after Rob Van Dam strolled to ringside, which distracted Danielson long enough for Snuka to finish him in the ring. Van Dam then pointed to Snuka and left ringside.
Commissioner Chad came out and explained the rules for tag turmoil: Two contestants at a time will be in the ring. A wrestler can tag out to anyone. When one partner is pinned, that team is eliminated. The final two teams will go at it for a shot at the BCW tag belts at Bithlo Bash. “Gentlemen, have at it!”
(In order of elimination)
The Naptown Dragons were eliminated when Dustin Lee was pinned by Chris Candido.
Don Leo Jonathan and Ray Stevens were eliminated by the Road Warriors via DQ when Stevens pushed Hawk off the top rope when he and Animal were setting up a DOOMSDAY DEVICE against Jonathan, who had been pummeling both Road Warriors until they rallied.
The Kings of Wrestling were ousted by Justin Credible and Chris Candido when Credible hit a THAT’S INCREDIBLE on Chris Hero. With the pin, C+C eliminated both House of Humperdink teams.
S+S were eliminated by Page and Pepper when Diamond Dallas Page caught George South with a cross-body block off the turnbuckle and got the pin.
Justin Credible and Chris Candido were eliminated by the Exiles when Credible, after a long battle, succumbed to George Hackenschmidt’s RUSSIAN BEAR HUG.
The Road Warriors were eliminated by Pepper and Page after Pepper Gomez hit a Mexican Leap against Hawk and rolled him up for a quick pin. The Road Warriors were understandably upset afterward.
The Exiles won tag turmoil when they defeated Page and Pepper, as Pepper Gomez submitted to the RUSSIAN BEAR HUG of George Hackenschmidt. Earlier in the match, Mil Mascaras barely escaped a surprise DIAMOND CUTTER from Diamond Dallas Page. Throughout the match, the two sides were pretty evenly matched until the finish.

YEAR SEVEN, CARD NO. 7
UCF Arena
Commissioner Chad came out and said since it was the last card before the Bithlo Bash PPV, it was about time to announce the world heavyweight championship match – and it would be a triple-threat match, with Jimmy Snuka taking on both Rob Van Dam and Bryan Danielson. He said that he figured all three would be so focused on the belt, there wouldn’t be any “alliance” going on. The commissioner also said that some stars would be returning for Bithlo Bash, and fans would get to see them on this card. But first, a new wrestler was coming into BCW, and his match was next!
Larry Sharpe d. Sam Hayne (w/ manager Elegant Eddie Fyne) in Hayne’s BCW debut when he was DQ’d for giving Sharpe a power slam outside the ring. Hayne put the boots to Sharpe afterward until officials intervened to break things up.
Danny Hodge made a successful return from injury by d. George South when South submitted to Hodge’s Boston crab. Hodge looked sharp in his return to action.
The BCW icon Bobo Brazil, in his return from injury, d. Johnny Rodz when he pinned Rodz following a falling elbow. Brazil looked sharp in his return, hitting a number of COCO BUTTS before finishing Rodz off. Afterward, he grabbed a mic and said, “I’m back in time for Battle Bowl, and I intend to win it!”
Sir Oliver Humperdink came out with the Kings of Wrestling and called out Chris Candido and Justin Credible. He said, “You cost us much in the tag turmoil match at the last card, and we’d like to return the favor – with interest!” Candido and Credible headed to ringside with Tammy.
The Kings of Wrestling (w/Sir Oliver Humperdink) d. Chris Candido and Justin Credible (w/ Tammy) when Claudio Castagnoli pinned Credible after a RICOLA BOMB. Earlier in the match, Chris Hero nailed Candido with a chair outside the ring, but the referee was preoccupied with Humperdink and missed it. At the end, Hero was busy distracting Credible and Tammy as Castagnoli hit his finisher.
Bill Apter’s “Hot Seat” featured U.S. heavyweight champion Magnum TA. Magnum said that he was fully recovered from his injury, and he was looking forward to getting another shot at Curt Hennig: “I owe him, and at Bithlo Bash, I intend to pay what I owe.”
Ox Baker came to ringside with Jushin Liger, and the called out Sir Oliver Humperdink: “How about you get a couple of your clowns to meet me in the ring for a little ‘workout’ before Bithlo Bash?” Humperdink shook his head “no,” but down to ringside came the Naptown Dragons.
Jushin Liger and Ox Baker d. the Naptown Dragons (w/Sir Oliver Humperdink) when Liger hit a jumping kick on Scotty Vortekz, who was coming off the top rope at the time, and got the subsequent pin. The match was long and eventful, with interference keeping Dustin Lee in the match despite two HEART PUNCHES from Baker. After the match, Baker came in and gave Vortekz a HEART PUNCH, injuring him. “Another clown down,” Baker yelled afterward.
Larry Sweeney came out and said he needed a “challenging” match before he “dominated” Bithlo Bash. Bruiser Brody then came to ringside and offered his services. Sweeney tried to decline, but the referee started the match.
Bruiser Brody d. Larry Sweeney (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) when he hit his JUMPING KNEE DROP. Brody pretty much dominated the match, and when he was going for his finisher, Humperdink appeared to consider interfering, only to be stopped by a look from Brody.
The Road Warriors and Paul Ellering came out, and Hawk took the mic to say they were a little sore at Diamond Dallas Page and Pepper Gomez for eliminating them at the tag-turmoil match. “And when you’re sore, you should cure the sore! So come on down, Page and Pepper, and meet your doom – the Legion of Doom!”
The Road Warriors (w/ Paul Ellering) d. Page and Pepper when Diamond Dallas Page fell victim to the DOOMSDAY DEVICE after Hawk tossed Pepper Gomez off the ring apron. Afterward, Hawk took the mic and said, “That’s that! Now, on to getting our belts back. Oooooh, what a rush!”
Commander Chad came out and called out the BCW tag-team champions, Ivan Koloff and Mad Dog Vachon. He said their tag-team opponents, the Exiles, were recovering after winning the tag-turmoil match at the last card, but that was no reason to keep the tag champs from getting some exercise. While Commander Lou Albano shook his head “no,” the commissioner announced that they would be facing Ray Stevens and Don Leo Jonathan – next!
Don Leo Jonathan and Ray Stevens d. BCW world tag-team champions Mad Dog Vachon and Ivan Koloff (w/ Commander Lou Albano) in a nontitle match when Jonathan rolled up Vachon while he was attempting a sunset flip and got the pin. Albano was furious about the extremely long match and the finish. “You’ll pay, commissioner. You’ll pay!” he shouted at Commissioner Chad, who was still at ringside.
