JAN 01 - HOUSE SHOW CIRCUIT
MAPLE LEAF GARDENS, TORONTO, ON Lou Thesz def. Buddy Rogers to win the NWLA title. Promoters in the northeast United States refuse to recognize Rogers' one-fall loss to Thesz, thus breaking away from the NWLA to form a new promotion, the International Wrestling Legends Federation. Rogers is declared the first IWLF World Heavyweight Champion after defeating Antonino Rocca in a tournament in Rio de Janeiro, BrazilI love your origins for the IWLF. Will we see any "interaction" between the upstart IWLF and the older, more established NWLA? Presumably the NWLA represents an alliance of promoters / territories throughout North America and perhaps beyond? Is the IWLF similar in this respect or is it just a single promotion?

Thanks. This is about the thousandth time I've restarted my fed. I will usually bring in guys from "other" feds or send my guys out of town. In the past I've had the 3L (Lucha Libre Legends) Champion visit Madison Square Garden or have my guys appear on "Japanese" cards when I wanna mix things up and use some cards not in my fed.
Abe Lincoln will be making an appearance as Illinois Champion for sure.

This looks like my kind of LOW fed! Imagining an actual match between Ox Baker and Savage-T is painful.
