Well that's a hell of a downgrade.

That Drake promo is awesome. Dude's one of the best talkers in the business. Cole's promo is great, too

Today is the day!
I just wish I did not have to drive back to Las Vegas tonight (the show probably will not end until 1:00 or so) otherwise I would stay in California the entire weekend and on Sunday go to the CWFH tapings at CWFH's new location on the coast. Unfortunately I need to be back here tomorrow- but tonight is going to be fun!

After driving All Night Long (Inner City Machine Guns entrance music,) I am back home in Las Vegas.
Ten was absolutely incredible!
Just a quick review because I really need to get some sleep:
on the way to PWG, I ate at Umami Burger in the Laurel Canyon area and the burger I ate there is better than any burger I have ever eaten in Las Vegas. Also, awesome cheesy tater tots as a side order. If you are ever in the area, check this place out!
Before the show, I bought the DVD for All Star Weekend 9 Night 1 (the only PWG show I had to miss so far this year) and I got to talk to the Young Bucks who were selling their merch next to the guys selling the PWG DVDs.
A returning Joey Ryan was the first wrestler to appear after the show officially started and he got a standing ovation from many including myself. It is great to see Joey Ryan back in PWG! In the opening 6 person tag match, Willie Mack, B-Boy, and Candice LeRae defeated Joey Ryan, Ryan Taylor, and Pretty Peter Avalon. From out of the crowd, Scott Lost made an appearance in this match to help Candice's team.
Brian Cage used WEAPON-X to defeat a debuting Anthony Nese. A really good match, but I would still someday like to see the originally planned matchup of Cage vs Davey Richards.
Forever Hooligans defeated RockNES Monsters. Rocky Romero and Alex Koslov wore their IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship belts to the ring which I think is the first time championship belts from another fed have appeared in PWG's ring since Austin Aries wore the ROH World Championship belt when he participated in BOLA 2009.
Michael Elgin defeated AR Fox. A fantastic match- my favorite match of the first half!
Intermission.
Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano defeated Paul London and Brian Kendrick. Not as much comedy as I expected, but I absolutely liked this match alot. I think this is the first time London and Kedrick teamed up in PWG since the first Kurt Russellreunion back in 2010?
Kyle O'Reilly defeated TJ Perkins. This match all by itself was worth the 9-10 hours I spent driving in my truck to get back and forth from PWG!
PWG World Champion Adam Cole retained over Kevin Steen and Drake Younger in a 3 way guerrilla warfare match. Since he did not win the title tonight, at the moment I think Drake Younger is my current pick to win BOLA later this month (provided of course he is as expected one of the 6 names still to be announced.)
PWG World Tag Team Champions Young Bucks defeated Dojo Bros and Inner City Machine Guns in a 3 way tag ladder match. I have seen alot of wrestling but there were things in this match that I do not think I have ever seen before in a ladder match. For example, at one point Ricochet dived through the sides of an extremely large ladder that reached almost to the roof of the Legion Hall and his dive took him over the turnbuckle and over another ladder set up outside of the ring and onto one of the Bucks in the crowd area. The Bucks retaining by standing on top of a ladder and grabbing the belt hanging over the ring was a perfect way to end PWG's 10th anniversary.
Afterward, the Inner City Machine Guns music of All Night Long was played and a number of wrestlers came to the ring. Elgin (doing the worm as he did at Night of Hoopla,) Chuck Taylor, and Drake Younger all danced. and then Legion Larry actually got in the ring and danced too. no Super Dragon appearance though despite alot of chants for him at the end of the show.
Before I left, I got to talk to Excalibur and tell him how much I enjoyed tonight's show. Steen Wolf IMO had the two most indelible PWG moments for me (El Generico ripping both the PWG World Championship and the vent it was attached to out of the ceiling after defeating Steen in a ladder match and the dramatic return of Super Dragon) but as a whole I thought Ten was even better than Steen Wolf! At least I personally rate Ten above Steen Wolf from my perspective as a live attendee at both events, but I do not know how it will be seen through DVD.
So far, if you buy just 1 PWG DVD this year, you really need to buy the DVD for this show!
Also, on the way back home, I experienced some excitement when I stopped at a gas station in Reseda a couple of miles away from PWG and suddenly about 5 gunshots were fired in front of the store. The police were actually just a block away and apprehended a suspect and the shots were not fired in the direction of the store, but they still woke me the hell up.
