Yes, Jake is clean and sober now, but he has relapsed before (more than once). I know it's a hypocritical stance, as there are other recovering addicts in the hall (Iron Sheik, for example), but none with as high profile a battle with his personal demons as Jake. It would be damaging to the brand of the Hall of Fame to have Jake relapse after induction; as such, I think it will be a posthumous induction for Jake.

That may be true. But look at the Road Warriors who are perhaps the greatest tag team in the business, Hawk had battled his demons and lost. Shouldn't have happened to him but still people loved them. Jake had his relapses from time to time, but at least he's fighting his problems. Maybe he won't be in the hof soon, but I believe sometime in the future if he continues to stay clean.

Hawk didn't lose to his demons, if you watch the Road Warriors DVD, he died clean and from his heart giving out after moving all the heavy stuff for his girl friend at the time.
