First, I'm glad this is coming from a credible source. The fine folks at "showrenity" would never lead you astray , especially with the journalistic integrity to use the headline "Strong Ass Rumor Alert". Take it to the bank, it's a done deal! In all seriousness, should this come to pass AND a match is involved, I think they shouldn't bring in Sting to do the job. Probably induct Warrior into the HOF, definitely not waste one of Undertaker's last matches. They COULD do icon versus icon with Shawn and Sting and it wouldn't be too bad. They match up well and could cover each others weaknesses at this stage. Again though, Shawn isn't going to want to do the favor for Sting in "Shawn's house" at Wrestlemania, so it'd have to be a draw or some kind of screwy finish. Just want to add that showrenity is not a wrestling dirtsheet news website. It's a guy from IGN who runs this and who happens to love wrestling and knows his stuff. So he was just reporting the news he got from the other website named in the article. On a side note, this Matt Fowler guy writes a weekly Wrestling Wrap up column where he talks about WWE / TNA / and a little about WCW/TNA alumni Dafnney. Along with some funny gifs and memes. Check it out

If they had brought Sting during the Invasion storyline when they bought out WCW (and then blew the angle of a lifetime), I would have been really excited. 50-something year old Sting doesn't really do it for me.

For my two cents, an ideal 2014 WWE Sting run would consist of: One nostalgia-riffic match at WrestleMania 30... Not against 'Taker, but against someone young and athletic enough to do most of the actual work. My choice would be Dean Ambrose or Seth Rollins, which ever one isn't in a match with Reigns. A DVD A Tee-Shirt season 2 of Legends House on the Network A 45 second or so stay in the 2015 Royal Rumble as a surprise entry 2015 Hall of Fame induction

If Sting would have come over at the WCW Invasion, I think Sting would have been lost in all those wrestlers at the time. I agree that he should have made the transfer before now if you the rumors are true. I would have liked to have seen Sting in the WWF during the early 90s.
