The Evolve set is so cool that I have to do some kind of fed! What I plan to do at the start is book the same cards that Evolve actually does and play out the matches to see how things turn out. I will stick with how they are booked as opposed to how the show actually goes. For instance, the advertised main event of Evolve 30 did not go down as planned. I do it anyway. In the cases where there are participants without playing cards, I will fill out the show as best I can (I enjoy the FRAY! format). I will roll my shows up before watching/learning the real world results. I will pick up with Evolve 29 and take into account what has come before including roster, champions, feuds, and so on. Once my Evolve diverges enough from the real thing, I will progress my own storylines, etc. I'm just gonna keep it casual and fun. And these cards are fun! 29 FRAY! - Jon Davis, Ricochet, Lancelot Bravado, Harlem Bravado, Gran Akuma, and Shane StricklandLance and Davis start the match. Akuma enters next. Strickland enters the Fray! Akuma pins Davis(4 tokens) after a Tenchi Crash. Ricochet joins in. Ricochet pins Lancelot(7 tokens) following an over the ring post dive. Harlem enters last. Ricochet eliminates Akuma(4 tokens) with a 630 Senton. Strickland uses a 450 Splash to take out Harlem(3 tokens). Strickland pins Ricochet(6 tokens) after a 450 Splash to win the FRAY! NOTE: The match ended in an epic struggle between the two high-fliers. Despite a dominant performance, Strickland had trouble putting away Ricochet and resorted to using a steel chair to set his opponent up for his finisher. By pinning the Open The Freedom Gate Champion, Strickland may have put himself into the title picture. Rich Swann def. Caleb Konley w/Su YungThis was an ultra-fast paced match with many pin attempts. Swann used a Chicken Fried Driver for the win. Biff Busick def. Johnny GarganoBusick ripped into Gargano, forcing the former Open The Freedom Gate Champion to seek refuge outside of the ring. Gargano is then disqualified for putting Busick through a table. Jigsaw & Tim Donst def. The Colony (Green Ant & Fire Ant) Donst and Jigsaw isolated Green Ant, working well as a team. Fire Ant never saw action and Green Ant had no offense, being pinned after a Jig 'N' Tonic. Chuck Taylor def. Drew GulakA hard fought battle between bitter enemies that ended with an Awful Waffle. Uhaa Nation & AR Fox def. Anthony Nese & Trent Barreta w/Su Yung The Premier Athlete Brand team isolated Uhaa for quite a while. When Fox finally tagged in, he thrashed Trent. Barreta survived one Lo Mein Pain and when Fox attempted a second, Nese intercepted him and sent him out of the ring with a reverse huracanrana onto a ringside table. Fox was wiped out and the PAB were disqualified.

Blehschmidt - Can Strickland continue his winning ways? And can The Colony bounce back for their title shot? Keep reading to find out! 30 FRAY! Jon Davis, Richochet, Tim Donst, Drew Gulak, Biff Busick, and Shane Strickland
Gulak and Davis begin the match. Busick joins in. Ricochet is next in. Gulak makes Busick(7 tokens) tap to the University Stretch. Donst enters the FRAY! Strickland is the last to enter. Donst pins Gulak(5 tokens) after an SDT. Strickland pins Ricochet(7 tokens) after a slingshot double stomp. Donst eliminates Davis(10 tokens) following an elbow hammer. Donst wins the FRAY! With a Donstitution on Strickland(5 tokens) Note: Donst cleaned house. Strickland pinned the DGUSA Open the Freedom Gate Champion, Ricochet, for the second night in a row. FOUR-WAY FREESTYLE Anthony Nese def. Chuck Taylor, Jigsaw, & Ethan PageThis was a short match with most of the action taking place between Nese and Jigsaw. Nese pinned Jigsaw after a Reverse Piledriver. AR Fox def. Caleb Konley w/Su YungAnother quick match with Fox rolling over Konley and hitting Lo Mein Pain for the easy win. Trent Baretta w/Su Yung def. Uhaa NationUhaa tossed Trent around like a rag doll showcasing his amazing athleticism. Trent made a spectacular comeback demonstrating that he was also an impressive athlete. A springboard dropkick by Baretta led to a pinfall and the Premiere Athlete Brand goes 2-1 for the night, splitting wins with their rivals Fox and Nation. Ricochet backstage promo:“Shane Strickland… Hey buddy, you think pinning me a couple of times during a five-on-one situation puts you on my level? You better think again. I’m the Open the Freedom Gate Champion. I beat the guy who held this title for over two years. I’m a star. You’re just another stunt-dummy like AR Fox. And we all know he can’t beat me one-on-one. So what chance do you have?“ OPEN THE UNITED GATE CHAMPIONSHIP The Colony (Green Ant & Fire Ant) def. The Bravado Brothers(c)This was a fairly one-sided match seeing the Colony isolate Lancelot. All four men were in the ring, and during the confusion, Green Ant reversed a pinning situation on his partner. Fire Ant pinned Lancelot and we have new champions! I QUIT MATCH Johnny Gargano def. Rich SwannThe feud between these two has led to this point. Not known as a submission wrestler, many questioned Swann taking this match with Gargano. Right away, Gargano took the match out of the ring and hurt Swann. After planting Swann in the middle of the ring with a swinging reverse STO, Johnny applied the Gargano Escape and Rich said ‘I quit’. It is hard to tell if this match has ended this feud or not. I really liked EVOLVE 29 & 30, the promo by Ricochet toward Strickland was cool and the Colony taking the straps from the Bravado Brothers was killer...

32 FRAY! Jon Davis, Uhaa Nation, AR Fox, Chuck Taylor, Harlem Bravado, and Lancelot Bravado
EVOLVE Champion AR Fox and Jon Davis open the match. Uhaa Nation enters. Lancelot Bravado joins next. Davis pins Nation(0 tokens) after 3 Seconds Around The World. Harlem Bravado enters the FRAY! Taylor enters last. Fox(6 tokens) is pinned by Lance after a springboard double stomp on the apron. Taylor pins Harlem(1 token) after a somersault suicide dive. Lance pins Davis (6 tokens) with a Deadlift German Suplex. Lance wins the FRAY! By pinning Taylor(4 tokens) with a Deadlift German Suplex. Note: For the second night in a row, Taylor is eliminated by a Bravado Brother for the win. Lance and Harlem, having won the first two night's FRAY!s, are scheduled to face each other at EVOLVE 33. BEST OF THREE SERIES Match #2 Biff Busick def. Drew GulakAn excellent grappling display saw Gulak seemingly on his way to evening the best-of-three but a flying European uppercut earns Busick the 2-0 series win. Ricochet backstage promo:"Shane Strickland, I almost didn't sign for this match with you tonight. You take too many risks and put your body, and your opponent's, on the line. You and AR Fox must have gone to Stupid Moves Camp together. I'm the Open The Freedom Gate Champion. I can't afford to be injured by someone as careless and dangerous as you. But at the same time, I need you and everyone else to know that you pinning me was a fluke. Both times." Johnny Gargano def. Caleb Konley w/Su YungCaleb showed some slick offense early but Gargano outclassed him and got the quick win with a cross body from the top turnbuckle. Gabe's Book It Cam: Chris Hero is settling in after arriving at the venue. Gabe: Hey, Chris. Got a second?Chris: Yeah. Yeah, sure.Gabe: So you lost the EVOLVE Championship last night. How do you feel about it 24 hours later? Chris: Disappointed. But that's the business. And AR Fox is an amazing wrestler and a great champion.Gabe: Tonight you have Trent Barreta. What are your thoughts on him?Chris: Yeah, well, Trent's a great athlete and an entertaining guy. Kind of a smart-ass... But hey, who am I to talk? Gabe: Alright. Thanks, Chris. Good luck out there tonight. Anthony Nese w/Su Yung def. Rich SwannSwann was in the driver's seat until a ref bump distracted him and Nese took advantage. Nese unloaded on Swann and scored a 450 Splash for the win. Trent Barreta w/Su Yung def. Chris HeroTrent made Hero look bad and paid for it. One night removed from losing the EVOLVE title, Hero was in no mood to be shown up. He set up a table at ringside. Ignoring the referee's warning, he performed a leaping senton, putting Barreta through the table. Hero was disqualified and as the ref raised Barreta's hand, Hero attacked Trent and concussed him with a Rolling Elbow Smash. SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH Shane Strickland def. RicochetStrickland started hot and had the Open The Freedom Gate Champion on the defensive. Ricochet resorted to giving Strickland a tornado DDT on a chair at ringside, getting himself disqualified. Lenny Leonard commented that it looked like Ricochet was just trying to get out of the match to avoid a legitimate lose.

That's cool we'll see the Bravado Brothers facing each other, that should make for one interesting match. I noticed with the Gabe & Hero conversation, you ment Chris and not Chuck in your write up? I liked how you mentioned Lenny thinks Ricochet got dq'd on purpose, it'll be fun to see where that goes next...

The Bravados kicked butt in those FRAY!s and their match at EVOLVE 33 will be... unconventional.
