EVOLVE 40 was stellar with Chuck Taylor thumping Drew Gulak and I love this line...
Harlem: “Our grandmother would disagree. She thinks Chuck is a fine young man.”
I really loved the Uhaa Nation victory and the ending with him denying Dallas who flew out of the ring was fun stuff. Overall another top notch show and I look forward to your next event...

Taylor's turn was classic and Nation's triumph was epic... Stellar stuff!
When Ricochet manages to hit that 630 SENTON, victory is pretty much a guarantee... But, will that stop 'The Whole Shebang' on his quest for gold? I DON'T THINK SO...

Crimson Cross - I always thought the Bravados were pretty funny guys. I like to give them a chance to show it when I can. Pariah - Johnny Gargano's quest for gold is going to go in a... weird direction. Uhaa Nation has been on a roll and I shouldn't have been surprised he came out of the unification with the title. I will have more shows up in a couple of weeks after EVOLVE 2 drops. I will be introducing a new theme with "Ratings and Rivalries Weekend".

41 Lenny Leonard: “Fans, we want to welcome you to EVOLVE’s Rankings and Rivalries Weekend. Tonight we feature key matchups that will have the biggest impact on the top ten rankings. Tomorrow night we spotlight some of the brewing rivalries here in EVOLVE. We hope you enjoy this new concept and we look forward to bringing it to you.”Larry Dallas came out and hijacked Drew Galloway’s introduction from ring announcer Heather Lynn. He said that he was responsible for signing Drew as one of the biggest names on the indy scene. Galloway came out and regarded Dallas with a bemused smile. He reassuringly asked Larry for the mic: “I've never spoken to you before. I’m not even sure who you are. I can tell all of you right here and right now that Drew Galloway is here in EVOLVE because it is the best wrestling company in the world today! And it had nothing to do with this man here.”Larry sputtered and looked embarrassed as EVOLVE officials ushered him from the ring. Lenny Leonard: “I’m fairly positive that a wrestler the caliber of Drew Galloway would have no use for a toad like Larry Dallas.”Drew Galloway def. Lancelot BravadoLancelot came out hot and had Galloway in some trouble. The big Scot turned it around though and gave Bravado two Double Arm DDTs before pinning him. The EVOLVE fans gave Drew a big round of applause. Biff Busick def. Harlem BravadoThis interminable match saw neither man able to get a decisive advantage over the other. After running about ten minutes too long, Busick finished Bravado with a Bu Awakening. Anthony Nese w/Su Yung def. AR FoxNese came out strong and really put a hurt on Fox with his arsenal of power moves. Fox made a dramatic comeback and scored a couple of near falls. Nese reasserted his power advantage and went over with a 450 Splash. Gabe's Book It Cam: Uhaa Nation stands proudly with a championship belt over each shoulder. Gabe: “Uhaa, congratulations on winning the EVOLVE Championship from AR Fox and unifying that title with the DGUSA Open The Freedom Gate Championship.”Uhaa: “Thank you very much.”Gabe: “Tonight you make your first defense against Chuck Taylor, the winner of our last Brass Ring Challenge…”Uhaa: “I’m going to teach Chucky T that there’s a big difference between brass and gold.”Gabe: “And tomorrow night you have Rich Swann who wants some payback after you used one of those belts as a weapon at EVOLVE 39.”Uhaa: “Ha, ha! Rich Swann? What’s that scrawny punk think he’s going to do to The Ultimate? I’m gonna swat him like a fly.”Rich Swann def. Caleb Konly w/Su YungSwann was a ball of fire as he overwhelmed Konley and earned the solid win with a Chicken Fried Driver. Johnny Gargano def. RicochetGargano was a man possessed. Ricochet fended off his assault but blew a 630 Senton, putting Johnny back in control. Ricochet was soon locked in the Gargano Escape and struggled for many long minutes before passing out. Johnny got in the camera after releasing the hold. With a manic look on his face, he said he wanted his belt back. EVOLVE CHAMPIONSHIPChuck Taylor def. Uhaa NationAt the bell, Taylor tried a running big boot but Uhaa caught it and used his power to throw Chuck into the corner. Taylor reversed the following whip into the opposite corner and struck with a boot to the gut. Chuck then hoisted Uhaa up for a turnbuckle powerbomb. Taylor made the cover and just as Uhaa was about to kick out, Chuck put his feet on the ropes for extra leverage and the unaware ref’s hand fell for the third time. Taylor rolled out of the ring, grabbed the title belts and fled like a thief in the night as the bewildered Uhaa looked to the referee who fearfully fled as well.

Great debut for Galloway... Expecting big things from The Chosen One...
Ricochet is a great competitor and all, but Johnny wants his belt back... (and what Johnny wants, Johnny gets... Right?)
And speaking of crazy... What a victory for Chuck-T! Here's to the NEW Evolve champ! What a completely enjoyable show... Loved every minute!

EVOLVE 41 was a very fun event with that very cool intro for Galloway and Larry Dallas' stating he signed Drew was crazy good, plus seeing Chuck Taylor winning the titles from Nation is a nice thing. I liked the overall event and the little touches like the Gabe's Book it cam makes your write-up's fun to read...

Crimson Cross, Pariah - Thanks for the comments guys! Here is night two of Ratings and Rivalries Weekend with some interesting developments. 42 The Bravado Brothers came to the ring and interrupted Lenny Leonard's show opening. They said they had a beef to settle here on Rivalry Night. Lancelot brings up losing to Drew Galloway at EVOLVE 41. “Grandma was watching last night on WWN Live and saw him pull my trunks.” Harlem explained that their grandmother taught them to stand up to bullies and he challenged Galloway to face him right now. Drew came out with a big smile. He told the Bravados that maybe their grandmother’s eyes should be checked. They did not appreciate him talking about their grandma like that. Drew Galloway def. Harlem Bravado w/Lancelot BravadoHarlem got some good shots in before tossing Drew to the floor. Lancelot grabbed Galloway and sent him into the post. This happened right in front of the referee who called for a disqualification. As Galloway was helped to the back, the Bravados next called out Biff Busick who defeated Harlem at EVOLVE 41. Biff Busick def. Lancelot Bravado w/Harlem BravadoThis was a scrappy encounter that saw Harlem’s presence at ringside influence the match. He distracted the ref after Busick’s Half and Half Suplex, allowing Lance to kick out. The fight spilled out of the ring and a brawl ensued with Harlem getting involved on his brother’s behalf. The ref disqualified the Bravados again. The fight continued with Biff holding his own. Drew Galloway returned and the Bravados quickly retreated. Drew tried speaking with Biff who just screamed at him that he didn't need his help. #1 CONTENDER MATCHJohnny Gargano def. Anthony Nese w/Su YungGargano had a lot of problems with Nese’s strength advantage. The pair ended up brawling in the crowd and Nese was disqualified for ignoring the referee’s warnings. Gargano took a beating but had his hand raised with a twisted smile on his face. Gabe's Book It Cam: Gabe: “Chuck Taylor, you stole that title from Uhaa Nation!”Chuck: “Umm… Have you seen the video? I’m pretty sure I pinned him. The Bravados saw it. Right guys?” (Lance and Harlem nod) Gabe: “You guys are disgusting. And Bravados, I’m letting you know right now, you’re both being fined for your actions tonight.”
Chuck: “Don’t sweat it guys. Soon you’ll have the tag team titles back and you’ll be able to rub it in Book It Gabe’s face. Bold Young Gentlemen with all the gold in 2015!” NON-TITLEAR Fox def. Chuck TaylorFox fought from under to the decisive win with Lo Mein Pain. He motioned that the strap should be around his waist and he had the full support of the fans. Caleb Konley w/Su Yung def. RicochetKonley was looking for a measure of revenge after Ricochet used a chair on him at EVOLVE 39. This match was fought at a furious pace with Ricochet quickly getting the upper hand. Konley avoided defeat by rolling out of the way of a 630 Senton and went on to make Ricochet submit to the Oh! Face. RELAXED RULESUhaa Nation def. Rich SwannSwann took a massive beating from Uhaa who busted him open with a chair and put him through a table. Swann made a fiery comeback, showing his fighting spirit. This only served to give the fans false hope because Uhaa ended up punishing him some more before finishing him with the Ultra Combination. The fans unanimously jeered Uhaa who angrily reacted to them. EVOLVE RANKINGSChampion - Chuck Taylor - Johnny Gargano
- AR Fox
- Anthony Nese
- Uhaa Nation
- Caleb Konley
- Rich Swann
- Drew Galloway
- Biff Busick
- Ricochet
- Lancelot Bravado

Great seeing 'The Whole Shebang' win that #1 contender match... Hopefully he'll soon have some gold around his waist again...
Very big win for AR Fox as well... Keeping himself in the title hunt...
Assuming that we'll see Busick going up against Galloway before long... The Manliest Man might just wish he has accepted The Chosen One's help with a smile...
Enjoyed the show!
