Another World Cup is here and I'm amp'd to watch it unfold. USA is in Group G with Germany, Portugal and Ghana. It would be nice to see us go far, but we'll see how this team does. The group that has my interest other then Group G is Group H. Group H has Belgium, Algeria, Russia and Korea Republic...

My sister lives in Salvador in Brazil and she actually has tickets to the World Cup game between Germany and Portugal. She also has tickets to the game between Spain and the Netherlands. I don't remember what game she said it is, but for one of those games she is sitting 8th row and the other she is sitting near the back of the stadium.

I'll be pulling for the USA first and foremost. But after that my support goes to the host country Brazil, as it is where my wife was born. Can't wait to start watching next week!

I am jazzed about the World Cup...cannot wait to see the teams in action.
I just hope the injury bug that has hit lately slows down so the teams can be at their best.
All for the USA, but I really think Germany is going to be tough...lots of talent there.

I'd like to see USA advance from Pool play, but it's going to be tough getting out of the Group of Death. Injuries are part of sports and it adds to the storyline, but yes having every team healthy makes for the best game, but then injuries do shake things up at times in a good way...

I'd say the USA and England both stand no chance, given the groups they're in. Sorry, guys!
Hopefully, I'm going to get to see most games. England's first match is an 11pm kickoff my time (I'll be knackered!) but, due to the office rota, I'm going to miss their last group match against Costa Rica.
I also pulled Iran in the office sweepstake, so there's money down the drain!
Anyway, let's hope I get proved wrong.

What a opening game today, I just got home from work to watch it and the own goal was a wild start, then that pk was questionable for Brasil, but overall I enjoyed the game...

I too felt that the referee was intimidated by the home crowd to save Brazil by awarding the penalty. But Brazil looked very dangerous when they stepped up their game.
