Over 20 years ago, a friend and I spent almost every waking minute playing COTG... I lost touch with both the friend and that set of cards (I think we had reached the 2nd Invasion pack and Iron Mane was my fave). Recently, I did an online search just to see what had become of that game from my past... OMG! is all I can say.
I don't know if Mark Ashby would remember me or not. I was a member of the original COTG Fan Club and I was even one of the players that took on a GWF persona myself when someone started a fantasy fed using players as the characters. I was "The Major Rager" Axel G. It was great!
Anyway, here I am again all these years later. Just started playing the online version and after a few false starts, I think I have my federations heading in a the creative direction I am aiming for.
Until Raven of Sudden Death 2095 makes his return in the GWF (haha! had to put that in there cuz Scott Levy is my favorite real-life sports entertainer AND the character looks pretty damn cool)...
