Kind of baffling that so many guys turn down the opportunity to be in the game. Granted, it's not a financial bonanza for them, but it doesn't cost them anything either. What's the downside? I'm sure a lot of the huge names would (and likely have) taken smaller-than-usual payouts to be part of the WWE video games because those are still big selling games that reach a broad audience. The downside is less money up front, but they get royalties and their name/image is out there to a generation of fans who may have forgotten them, or even a generation who never knew them. The difference with signing with FG is that it's a one time payout. They're probably not going to get royalties so whatever they make up front is it so the downside is that it's just flat out less money and if you're a guy like, for example, Vader or even someone like Ric Flair, why would you take a lower offer if there's nothing really to gain from it? Sometimes lucky deals happen like Andre or Piper or the Poffo set but on the whole, bigger stars are going to want big money and FG may not be able or willing to pay them what they're asking and really both sides of that scenario make perfect sense.

Although there's lots of top names missing from the game which we can assume will never get 'official' cards, I am still astounded by the fantastic range of talent that have agreed to be part of the Legends universe. Names such as Savage, Piper, Thesz, Race, Rogers, Blassie, Tolos, Bockwinkel, Road Warriors, The Midnights, Brody, Valentine, Beefcake, Brazil, Duggan, Muraco, Dibiase, Buddy Rose and Andre The Giant form a pretty mighty roster!
I'm totally happy with some of the lesser known names being announced, I'm all for variety and have personally popped or guys such as Sam Houston, SD Jones, The Love Brothers, Larry Sharpe and Zhukov being part of the game. Everybody has a place and I'm looking forward to anybody who comes our way!

It is a very nice range of talent in LOW and though it will take years for everything to get colored (plus hopefully a few names sprinkled here and there)

Well all I am saying (and hoping I don't get jumped on) is we get one release a year of Legends (and I understand why) and its tough when we don't get some new names mixed in. I understand the first set was colored and and we got some great guys, but it was sort of a let down when we don't get at least one new name.

I too was hoping for a new name or two and I imagine that some b&w guys will probably never get colourised.

I think that anyone they have left is probably fairly low tier and while they will get released eventually it's probably not a top priority.

Looking like we will have a small Legends release at Gcon which will harken back to the earliest days of Legends. I know its not the big release everyone is hoping for, but atleast something that will make the Legends fans and long time Gcon goers happy. Look for details Monday.

Will this be available for those fans who live far, far away?! This is indeed good news
