Chuck Landers: โWelcome to the UWA Special Report. This is Chuck Landers along with
Chet Rockwell. And we will be looking into the UWA Showdown super card that is coming up
soon.โ
Chet Rockwell: โAnd that will be one super show Chuck. Let's take a look at the winners from
their respected brands to see how they measure up for the UWA Undisputed singles and tag
championships.โ
Chuck Landers: โI'm with you there Chet. First is the single's tournament.โ
NICK MONDOChuck Landers: โThe champion from CZW have just won the CZW championship at the
brand's pay-per-view. He is as tough as they come and is considered a high odds possibility
to be the next UWA champion.โ
Chet Rockwell: โAnd he won that very title in a triple threat match defeating Bryan Danielson
and longtime champ Jon Moxley. A lot of bets are on this guy.โ
TIM DONSTChuck Landers: โTim is a true pro that has the skills to get the job done. He currently
competes in CZW and Chikara. Tim Donst is the only star from another brand to have won
Chikara's top prize.โ
Chet Rockwell: โIt's uncommon to see moments like that, but he does have a lot of heart and
can win at any given time.โ
RANDY SAVAGEChuck Landers: โA true legend in his own right. The Macho Man came out of nowhere and
dominated the PWG title tournament. And that makes him the one to watch.โ
Chet Rockwell: โWhoever he's pared against will make a great match anywhere.โ
DREW GALLOWAYChuck Landers: โThe Evolve champion is a sight to behold. Drew brutalized almost every
opponent he faced. Another odds on favorite going into the UWA Showdown. Drew Galloway
is perhaps the biggest threat to the UWA Undisputed title.โ
Chet Rockwell: โThe aggressive style of Drew makes him a threat whoever faces him. The
question is who can stop him?โ
ADAM PEARCEChuck Landers: โAnd here's the champion from CWFH that stopped the Dark Menace from
making a clean sweep of all the titles in that brand. He looked great in that Heritage title
tournament. He's tough, got the drive and skills to possibly claim the UWA title.โ
Chet Rockwell: โHe's considered the third odds on favorite to win it all Chuck. And quite
simply one of the toughest besides Nick Mondo.โ
NIGEL McGUINNESSChuck Landers: โThe ROH champion has been under fire for his controversial win in the
brand's tournament. Some say it was luck. Nice set of mat skills, but can he pull it off?โ
Chet Rockwell: โNigel is going into the UWA Showdown with a lot of boos and chants of
'Paper Champion'. He needs to dig down deep and prove to the fans and media that his
championship victory wasn't a fluke.โ
LUFISTO AND BIFF BUSICKChuck Landers: โAnd just announced from the UWA chairman Charlie Cox that there will be
two wild card entries added to the UWA singles tournament. By popular demand, the new
Shimmer champion Lufisto will be the first ever female star to make a run at UWA gold. She
has faced male stars before she came to Shimmer and like Sara Del Rey before her, she
could be the very first to win it all. Biff Busick, the CZW Wired TV champion from CZW has
earned his way into a wild card spot. His hard work has gotten him here.โ
Chet Rockwell: These two wild card entries will make the singles tournament that much more
interesting Chuck.โ
Chuck Landers: โAnd that it does. Which brings us to our dominate tag teams in the UWA
Showdown.โ
IRISH AIRBORNE AND THE SWISS EXCHANGEChuck Landers: โIrish Airborne of the CZW have been on the most dominate tag teams in
extreme brand and they are considered the favorites to win the tag tournament. Dave and
Jake Crist have been amazing.โ
Chet Rockwell: โThe Swiss Exchange duo of Claudio Castagnoli and Ares from Chikara have
been making a lot of noise and they know what extreme is. Great teamwork have won them
the tag titles in Chikara and have also compete in CZW.โ
AR FOX & UHAA NATION AND UNLAWFUL JUSTICEChuck Landers: โThe Evolve duo of Fox and Nation have surprised the Evolve brand by
winning it's tag championship. AR Fox just arrived to Evolve from CZW and man is he
making a name for himself. This team's got a lot of heart and talent.โ
Chet Rockwell: โCWFH's very own Unlawful Justice duo of Benett Cole and Rocky Reynolds
lead by the Dark Menace himself. This ruthless team will do anything for a win. Quite clearly
the most hated in the tag tournament.โ
AMERICAN WOLVES AND NAPTOWN DRAGONSChuck Landers: โThe American Wolves duo of Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards are
perhaps the biggest challenge in the tag tournament. The ROH duo have impressed the
fans with their ability to win the ROH tag titles.โ
Chet Rockwell: โThe Naptown duo of Dusin Lee and Scotty Vortekz are a force in PWG and
should give any opponent a hard time in the ring. They are exciting to watch.โ
PREMIER ATHLETE BRAND AND THE TRIBEChuck Landers: โThe following entries were added to the UWA tag tournament as a reward
for their hard work. The Premier Athlete Brand duo of Anthony Nese and Caleb Konley from
Evolve has came very close to winning their brand's tag championship and another from
Chikara. This great feat has earned the Premier Athlete Brand a wild card entry.โ
Chet Rockwell: โJustice has been served for Hawaiian Lion and Navajo Warrior of the Tribe
from CWFH. After being robbed of the CWFH Heritage tag title, The Tribe hopes to not only
win the UWA Undisputed tag championship, but get some measure of revenge on Unlawful
Justice. The Tribe are the most dominate tag team in CWFH today.โ
Chuck Lander's: โIt's time to make our picks to see who's going to walk away with the ultimate
prizes in the UWA Showdown. We can pick two from the singles and tag tournaments apiece.โ
