This will be Chris Sinclair's seventh appearance on the program. The two will discuss the failure of the previous incarnation of the National Wrestling Alliance family of promotions. How merging several feds together ultimately failed. The two will also talk about how this latest venture is going to be laid out, and how all the contracts are structured.

Off the Record opens with a shot of Michael Landsberg sitting in a chair directly across from "Pure Original" Chris Sinclair. Both men are dressed fairly casually as Chris Sinclair is sporting a gold NWA Logo Shirt, and black pants. Landsberg is wearing a dark red turtle neck with gray pants.
MICHAEL LANDSBERG: Welcome to a very special edition of Off the Record. Today I will be sitting down with Professional Wrestler "Pure Original" Chris Sinclair. Chris Sinclair who is from Guelph Ontario has been working since he was sixteen and now a few years away from his fortieth birthday he has recently signed a contract to work for the relaunching National Wrestling Alliance. A promotion he is one of the owners of. Until late last year the National Wrestling Alliance featured several smaller promotions that all worked together under one banner and each had their own territory and television product. All of which were available on the NWA Network. Sadly the NWA Network ultimately failed and it lead to an over year long hiatus for the entire National Wrestling Alliance brand. Today Chris Sinclair breaks his silence as the National Wrestling Alliance gears up for a huge return later this month in the Staples Center in Los Angeles California. So Chris, how have you been doing?
CHRIS SINCLAIR: Well Michael I've been generally pretty good. This past year has been a fairly tough one for me as my good friend Richard Livingstone passed away suddenly and the NWA Network crashed and burned shortly after. While those two events were taking place I also ended up going through a brutal divorce, which ended up being a good thing for my mental health in the long run. I also reconnected with several friends who work around Ontarion on the independent scene. So while the last year had several crushing lows it bring about a lot of mental stability that has been lacking for a few years.
ML: Sorry to hear about the divorce and the death of Richard Livingstone, who many fans will remember wrestled as "The CEO" for most his in ring career. Today you're here to help promote the relaunch of the National Wrestling Alliance as a single federation....
CS: Let me correct you there Michael, the National Wrestling Alliance isn't a single "Federation." It's a Wrestling Promotion. Also the focus is going be on Wrestling, not "Sports Entertainment." In the National Wrestling Alliance success will be based on wins and loses, not whoever we feel like shoving down our fans throats.
ML: Sorry about that mistake, getting back to the upcoming relaunch of the National Wrestling Alliance that is taking place in Los Angeles on Saturday March 28th. How did this latest venture come about?
CS: The relaunch of the National Wrestling Alliance has been almost seven months in the works. It all started once my divorce from Denise was finalized and I had the freedom to go out and line up investors and sponsors that will help this latest incarnation of the National Wrestling Alliance. This time around I am one of the minority owners of the National Wrestling Alliance instead of having most of the financial responsibility fall directly on my shoulders. This time around I also won't be responsible for handling a large part of the booking. In fact as long as I am an active wrestler on the roster I won't have anything to do with the overall booking of the show.
ML: If your not one of the bookers who is then?
CS: The National Wrestling Alliance has put in a seven member "Championship Committee" that will oversee all booking decisions. All I will say about who is actually on the booking committee is that the members have long and storied histories within the history of the National Wrestling Alliance. In fact one member is a former multi-time Worlds Heavyweight Champion.
ML: Over the last few days NWA.com has released the names of the entire "Core" roster of the National Wrestling Alliance going forward, and it also announced that Andre the Giant would making sporadic appearances. How were the contracts lined up? Some people were signed to exclusive deals while other are on Pay Per Appearance deals. How do those contracts vary?
CS: The contracts are quite easy to differentiate as guys who have signed exclusive deals with the National Wrestling Alliance will only be competing for the NWA. Those contracts also offer a higher pay scale to off set the loses that wrestlers will see by competing exclusively for the NWA. While those wrestlers under Pay Per Appearance deals will have the freedom to compete in other promotions while making the National Wrestling Alliance their priority. There will also be talents who are paid for one off appearances as the National Wrestling Alliance brings in guys and gals for one off deals. Andre is under that style of deal. Andre is, and always will be known as one of the greatest attractions in the world of professional wrestling and his deal with the NWA gives Andre the freedom to come and go as often as he feels. When I sat down with Andre and hammered out his deal he was reluctant to sign full time or make the NWA his professional priority. Andre loves to travel the world and entertain fans everywhere he goes. Andre has given us a list of his available dates for the next few months. Sadly a lot of them don't match up with some of our upcoming dates, but when Andre is available to the NWA we promise to use him as much as possible.
ML: Are you able to announce any more dates following the first show in Los Angeles?
CS: You bet I can. The second show will be held on Saturday April 25th at the Nassau Veterans Coliseum in Long Island New York, this will be the one and only NWA Event held at that location. A week after that on Saturday May 2nd I have the privilege of wrestling in front of my home town crowd as the NWA stops at the Sleeman Centre in Guelph Ontario. It will be our only stop at the venue in 2015, and finally on Saturday May 9th the NWA comes back to Toronto with stacked card that will feature Andre the Giant at the Air Canada Centre.
ML: Well thanks for taking the time to sit down today, sadly the rest of the show is being preempted for a State of the Maple Leafs press conference where team President Brandon Shanahan will address the teams latest season long collapse. For Off the Record I am Michael Landsberg.
