Heh, not even sure that is a word...
Anyways, when you guys step away from the game, for say, about a year. How do you "get back into the swing"?
I got away from the game for nearly a year, and now I am trying to pick up the pieces of the storylines I was running, and I am not succeeding.
Part of me wants to just scrap and reboot to the beginning of 2128 (I was about half way through my 2128 year when I stepped away). So, how do you guys regroup after some time away?

Keep your champions and go forward.

Usually one of two things. One is I just start fresh. The other is I go back and read the results over last month or two of game time. It is like watching the shows. Usually that gets my juices going again for the story lines and feuds I had going. Maybe a bit different direction than originally headed but in the general idea. If it does not help I give it a deay or two then try again. If still nothing I go to option one and reboot.

keep your current champions and play it as a temporary closing and come back story wise and play it as financial or political troubles or censors not liking something or some such. or you could restart the year

I just keep detailed results so when I take a break I know what the heck is going on. I usually take a break in the Summer - but play like mad in the winter. Canadian winters are the worst so - I have to take advantage of the nice weather.

Like others have said, go back a couple months in game time on your results/recaps and get yourself back up to speed. Once you get cranking again, it'll be like you never left.
