Hey, guys. Basically I'm looking for beer suggestions where you cant really taste the wheat as I don't care for anything wheat tasting. I usually only drink Angry Orchard, but recently found out to enjoy Not Your Father's Root Beer and Sam Adam's Porch Rocker. Beers that I tried that I did not like would be like Coors, Sam Adams lager, and Kona Big Wave golden ale. Basically, does anybody have any suggestions for drinks that aren't over power with their wheat tastes? Thanks.

My two best beer suggestions...
1. Free 2. Cold
Q: Do you know the best way to open a beer? A: It doesn't matter because it should already be open when she brings it to you.
I'll be here all week, LOL.
To be serious, the Summer Shandy that TM mentioned is really good. Samuel Adams also has a summer ale that's decent.
Angry Orchard is a nice beer to drink when eating pork chops, pork loin, etc. When I cook kielbasa I boil it in beer. I've done it with Angry Orchard a few times and it turned out very good.

Speaking in general, for domestic beer, I still favor Northwest beers as I'm originally from that area and the region has great hops and thus great beer.
Probably my personal favorite beer is Red Hook (from Seattle)- especially Red Hook ESB (in fact I'm drinking one right now.)
I also really like the Alaskan beers (especially Alaskan Amber.)
I also really like Black Butte Porter from the Portland area.
My favorite International beer is Murphy's.
One of the things I like to do when traveling is try local beers. For example, last year Tournament Master had some great beers from the New York area that we drank at CZW's TOD 13. Although I still don't know yet if I can make it to Galacticon (I need to make some extra cash but I have a temporary job interview scheduled for Thursday,) does anyone know of any good local Cleveland area beers?

Vegas is right: Alaskan Amber is one of the best. Especially out of the tap. tornado, not to bust yer balls here but it sounds like you just want chick-beer. Some of that stuff is okay, like the Summer Shandy, but I don't really consider it beer. More like a malted beverage. Beer IS hops.

I gotta find that Alaskan Amber, never heard of it. I am a fan of Ambers.
I personally enjoy a variety of beers, but do not like anything too hoppy. IPAs are just not my thing at all, at the same time I avoid watery beers like Coors Light and Bud Light. Need some flavor, just not too bitter.

IPAs are a little much for me and the only watery beer I like is Rolling Rock which goes down nice on a hot day. Alaskan Amber is so smooth coming out of the tap if you can find it east of the Rockies. Not the same out of the bottle but still pretty good. Fat Tire is still my fave bottled amber. Currently I'm enjoying Snapshot from New Belgium. A decent hefeweizen with a nice citrus tart to it.

I pretty much stick with Sam Adams. Their Boston Lager is my favorite, but the seasonal rotation is always fun to try.
