Well, I've gotta hunch that Johnson is going to advance through the opening round... Not sure if Butcher can stand up to him without getting himself disqualified in the process... But, I'm choosing the CHOSEN ONE, Drew Galloway to take it all... Looking forward to the next show!

BREAKING NEWSELEVEN NAMES ANNOUNCED FOR THE WOMENS DIVISIONDENISE PELF: I am coming to you today on AllStarWrestling.com to announce that All Star Wrestling has just finished signing eleven women to compete in the relaunched Women's Division. Those women are:
"The Wrestling Goddess" Athena. Athena is a star on the rise in the World of Professional Wrestling and I feel that Shimmer's loss is All Star Wrestling's gain. Athena has been struggling in Shimmer over the last couple of years and is looking forward to being a huge part of the revamped All Star Wrestling Women's Division.
Brittany Blake is relative newcomer to the Professional Wrestling world making her professional debut in 2013. Blake had a short run in Shimmer before requesting her release to join us here in All Star Wrestling.
"The Punk Princess" recently found herself going it alone after her longtime tag team partner MsChif announced her retirement. Feeling that Shimmer wasn't the place for her anymore Von Eerie left in favor of returning to her singles career here in All Star Wrestling.
Davina Rose will be debuting a new look and attitude when the former Heart of Shimmer Champion joins the All Star Wrestling Women's Division.
The multiple time Shimmer Champion leaves Shimmer after doing everything she could in the organization to enter the All Star Wrestling Women's Division. Can Jessie McKay dominate the All Star Women's Division the same way she did on route to becoming a three time Shimmer Champion?
The former female member of the Dark Menace Forces has struggled since The Dark Menace left her in favor of joining All Star Wrestling. Will Laura and the Dark Menace regroup in All Star Wrestling? Only time will tell.
With over three decades of experience Malia Hosaka is the most experience member of the brand new All Star Wrestling Women's Division. Can Hosaka use that experience to dominate the All Star Wrestling Women's Division or is this Hosaka's last run in a stellar career?
"Crazy" Mary Dobson brings her unique style and following to the All Star Wrestling Women's Division. Can this ultra popular former Heart of Shimmer Champion relaunch her career in the new All Star Wrestling Women's Division.
The Shimmer Original has finally stepped away from the company to pursue other ventures. Del Rey won both the Shimmer and Tag Team Championships can she use that experience to head straight to the top of the All Star Wrestling Women's Division.
The Masked Saturyne is making her return to the ring as part of the All Star Wrestling Women's Division, can the Intergalactic Luchador use her high flying style to find the success that eluded her in Shimmer here in the All Star Wrestling Women's Division?
Not only will Su Yung be part of the All Star Women's Division she has requested and been granted her All Star Wrestling Managers licence. How will Su Yung's arrival in All Star Wrestling effect the entire company? All Star Wrestling is currently working on signing one more women to the division and once that signing has been completed we will announce it here on AllStarWrestling.com

BREAKING NEWSJOHNNY PELF ANNOUNCES LATEST SIGNINGJOHNNY PELF: I am here today to announce that a man who many thought would never wrestle again has been signed to compete in the expanded All Star Wrestling World Championship Division. That man is none other than:
"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander. Josh Alexander was forced to retire last year due to a severe neck injury, thankfully several specialists have cleared Mr. Alexander to return to the ring. Josh Alexander has told me he is eternally grateful for the opportunity All Star Wrestling is giving him to return to the profession that he loves. Shortly after his injury Josh Alexander requested and was granted his release from the National Wrestling Alliance as he wanted to put Professional Wrestling behind him. Due to him being injured neither the NWA or Mr. Alexander wanted the release made public. Once again All Star Wrestling is proud to welcome Josh Alexander to the family.

LIVE FROM THE CUMBERLAND COUNTY CIVIC CENTER IN PORTLAND MAINE SATURDAY FEBRUARY 17th, 2018 BELL TIME: 6:05PM EST TOURNAMENT OPENING ROUND MATCH"Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce w/ "Elegant" Eddie Fyne made short work of "Prince of Queens" Brian Myers putting Myers away with the Jumping Piledriver at the 7:13 mark to advance to the second round of the All Star Wrestling Interim World Champion Tournament. This one opened with Myers tossing Pearce off the ropes, as Pearce rebounded he sent Myers to the mat with a running shoulder tackle. Pearce then went for a vertical suplex, but Myers fought him off and then came back a snap suplex of his own before tossing Pearce into the corner. Myers followed him and hit a brutal suplex. Myers then went for a lariat, but Pearce blocked it and caught Myers with an elbow smash. Pearce then tossed Myers off the ropes and Myers returned the favor from earlier in the match as he caught Pearce with a running shoulder tackle. Myers then went for a jawbreaker, but Pearce fought him off before catching Myers with a spinebuster for a near fall. Pearce then hit the Last Ride Lariat then a vertical suplex before ending this one with the Jumping Piledriver. "Zombie Princess" Jimmy Jacobs defeated "Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger via submission at the 8:22 mark. Younger tapped out as Jacobs was grinding his Railroad Spike into the side of his head. Jacobs kept Younger on the defensive with numerous low blows while keeping this one in the ring. Sadly for Younger the multiple low blows kept the "Psycho Shooter" from mounting much offense as every time Younger would try to make a comeback Jacobs would cut it off with a low blow. The end of this one saw Younger looking for an elbow strike, but once again Jacobs connected with the low blow. Jacobs then caught Younger with a diving senton for a near fall before pulling out the Railroad Spike and started to brutally grind it into the side of Younger's head slowly moving towards Younger's eye. Younger tapped out before any permanent damage could be done. TOURNAMENT OPENING ROUND MATCH"Darewolf" P.J. Black defeated Larry "the Axe" Hennig via pinfall when he caught Hennig with a 450 Splash at the 18:26 mark. Hennig dominated most of this one as he wore down Black by locking on the bear hug and squeezing the air out of Black's lungs and almost making the "Darewolf" pass out twice in the hold. Hennig nearly won via submission when he locked Black in a chinlock and nailed him with brutal forearm shots across the face, but Black managed to fight his way to the ropes forcing the break. Black then mounted the late comeback when he came off the ropes and caught Hennig with a sunset flip for a near fall. Black then hit a springboard cross body and then an STO for another near fall. The "Darewolf" then caught Henning with a brutal kick as "the Axe" was trying to get back to his feet following the pin attempt. Black then climbed to the top rope and hit the 450 Splash for the pinfall victory to advance to the second round of the All Star Wrestling Interim World Championship Tournament. Los Primos Rivera (Danny & Gino Rivera) made shockingly quick work of Classic Connection (Buddy Royal & Levi Shapiro) when "Unorthodox" Levi Shapiro rolled out of the ring following a Brooklyn Beatdown and walked away from the ringside area ending this one at the 1:21 mark when the referee hit the ten count. Shapiro and Gino Rivera started this one off by going back and forth until Gino dodged a dropkick and tagged in his brother for the Brooklyn Beatdown. Following the Beatdown Shapiro rolled out of the ring yelling that he has had enough of this crap as he walked away from the ringside area shocking everyone including his tag team partner "The Ace" Buddy Royal. Masada defeated Joe Gacy via pinfall when he caught Gacy with a powerbomb at the 24:35 mark. Joe Gacy dominated the early stages of this one catching Masada with back to back Top Rope Splashes at one point. Despite controlling the action Gacy couldn't find a way to keep Masada' shoulders down for the three count. Masada eventually made the comeback during a brutal brawl around the ringside area that saw Masada block a powerbomb onto a piece of the steel barricade with a back body drop. Masada then hit a tombstone piledriver on the arena floor before tossing Gacy back into the ring and hitting the Masadamizer for a near fall. After that point this one was all Masada as he beat down Gacy all over the ring and ringside area. This brutal match saw both men covered in blood the final powerbomb of this one came after Masada had hit Gacy with a high-angle belly to back suplex onto a pile of chairs at ringside. Masada then tossed Gacy back into the ring and ended this one with the powerbomb which was more of an exclamation point on the brutality of this match. TOURNAMENT OPENING ROUND MATCH"Rowdy" Roddy Piper w/ "Ace Cowboy" Bob Orton Jr. defeated ACH via submission when he caught the high flying ACH in a third Sleeper and ACH passed out ending this one at the 14:43 mark. With the victory "Rowdy" Roddy Piper advances to the second round of the All Star Wrestling Interim World Championship Tournament. "Hot Rod" dominated ACH in this beating ACH down with his belt as the referee kept trying to stop him. Piper even wore down ACH by keeping him locked in a figure four leglock. ACH did manage to pick up a near fall when he caught Piper with a sunset flip after rebounding off the ropes. ACH then tried to come off the top rope, but "Ace" Orton distracted him long enough for Piper to recover to and toss the highflying ACH back into the ring with a slam off the top rope. Piper then locked on the first Sleeper, but ACH quickly fought out only for Piper to brutally jab him in the eye before reapplying the hold. ACH then made his way to the corner and used the turnbuckle to turn the Sleeper into a pinning attempt by Piper. "Hot Rod" quickly released the hold and then brutally caught ACH with a kick to the side of the head before dropping down and biting ACH nearly getting disqualified in the process. Piper then pulled ACH off the mat and applied the Sleeper for the third time in the center of the ring finally forcing ACH to fade out. Brothers of Funstruction (Ruffo & Yabo the Clowns) w/ Sidney Backabella defeated the Bravado Brothers (Lancelot & Harlem Bravado) via pinfall when Yabo the Clown caught Harlem Bravado with the Tightrope Legdrop at the 7:34 mark. Ruffo and Harlem started this one going back and forth until Ruffo tagged in Yabo. Yabo then connected with the Jack in the Box which saw Harlem roll to the arena floor. Yabo followed him out and drove Harlem hard into the steel barricade nearly getting disqualified in the process. Yabo then tossed Harlem back into the ring and hit the Tightrope Legdrop for the only pinfall attempt of this one. Blue Meanie defeated DJ Hyde via pinfall when he caught Hyde with a third Meaniesault at the 35:26 mark. Meanie and Hyde went back and forth with both men using whatever they could get their hands on to beat down the other man. Hyde even managed to wear down the Meanie with several hard Lariats and the Shadow Driver, but the Meanie kept coming back. The Meanie did connect with the first two Meaniesaults early in this one, but they weren't enough to keep DJ Hyde from roaring back. The end of this one saw Hyde taking a gamble by climbing to the top rope, but the Meanie climbed up and took DJ Hyde back into the ring with a superplex. The Blue Meanie then climbed to the top rope and hit the third Meaniesault for the victory. PPRay (Peter Avalon & Ray Rosas) made short work of the RockNES Monsters (Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma) when they caught Johnny Yuma with the Drop Dead Gorgeous at the 4:22 mark. Yuma opened this one with a hair pull on Ray Rosas. Yuma then tossed Rosas off the ropes only to be caught with his down as Rosas caught him with a brutal kick. Rosas then hit both the Crazy Train and Ego Trip before tagging "Pretty" Peter Avalon into the ring for the Smash & Dash. Avalon then hit a twisting neckbreaker on Yuma before hitting the Marti-Knees for a near fall. After Yuma kicked out of the Marti-Knees Avalon tagged Rosas back into the ring ending this one with the Drop Dead Gorgeous, as Ray Rosas made the cover "Pretty" Peter prevented Johnny Goodtime from making the save. TOURNAMENT OPENING ROUND MATCH"Chosen One" Drew Galloway defeated Jerry Lynn via pinfall when he caught Lynn with the Ego Trip at the 53:26 mark. "The Chosen One" and Jerry Lynn constantly went back and forth in this as both men fought hard for the victory in this one. Lynn managed to pick up several close near falls when he rolled up Galloway with the small package rollup, coming within a heartbeat each time. Galloway couldn't find a way to hit the Future Shock until late in this one hitting the move twice in quick succession, but Lynn found a way to somehow kick out. Lynn made the comeback shortly after the second Future Shock when he blocked a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker just after Galloway hit Thee Move. Lynn then hit a TKO before going for a bulldog, but Galloway shoved him off and nearly took Lynn's head off with a big boot before finally picking up the victory with the Ego Trip to advance to the second round of the All Star Wrestling Interim World Championship Tournament.

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM JOHNNY PELFREGARDING BRETT JOHNSON'S OPENING ROUND MATCHJOHNNY PELF: The first half of the opening round to crown the All Star Wrestling Interim World Championship has been completed and so far I am personally estatic about the results. All four men who won tonight are deserving of being named the All Star Wrestling Interim World Champion, not that any of the opponents weren't worthy. On Episode 34 the Main Event will be the match between "Crimson Dragon" Brett Johnson and former Anarchy Champion Necro Butcher. Seeing as Mr. Johnson is the only man my sister I don't want seeing as the representative of our top championship I have decided to let Necro Butcher choose the stipulation for his upcoming match against Brett Johnson. Brett I hope you enjoy whatever type of match that the Necro Butcher chooses for your upcoming match in Drummondville Quebec.
