Matt Sydal v Claudio Castagnoli w/ Larry Sweeney
"Swiss Superman" Claudio Castagnoli was all over "Reborn" Matt Sydal as he shoved Sydal to the mat and started rubbing Sydal face into it. Castagnoli then came off the second rope with a leaping European Uppercut for the first near fall. Castagnoli then put Sydal away with the Neutralizer for the quick victory. WINNER: "Swiss Superman" Claudio Castagnoli via pinfall at the 1:01 mark of the match.Angel Orsini v Sumie Sakai This back and forth match saw momentum swing back and forth almost throughout the entire duration of this match as both Orsini and Sakai showed how well they knew each other. The numerous counters back and forth had the All Star Wrestling fans on their feet until the very end of the match when Sakai caught Orisini charging at her in the corner and after sidestepping Orsini Sakai rolled her up for the pinfall victory. Both women did manage to connect with their finishers in this one only for the opponent to just barely kick out to keep this one going. WINNER: Sumie Sakai via pinfall at the 13:23 mark of the match.Biff Busick w/ Stu Stone v Silas Young w/ SoCal Val The growing rivalry between "The Manliest Man" Biff Busick and "The Last Real Man in Professional Wrestling" Silas Young saw Young even things up when he caught Busick with the Pee Geen Waja Plunge for the pinfall victory. Despite starting this one off strong Busick couldn't keep the momentum up against Young in this as Young made the late comeback to pick up the quick victory in this one. WINNER: "The Last Real Man in Professional Wrestling" Silas Young via pinfall at the 7:23 mark of the match.SoCal Val & Stu Stone stayed at ringside arguing about the previous match as the introductions were made for the triple threat tag team match due up next
AC/DC w/ SoCal Val v Bravado Brothers w/ Stu Stone v London & Kendrick The fast paced action in this match saw Paul London, Darin Corbin and Lancelot Bravado start this match off with some phenomenal back and forth action that saw all three men go for the early victory only to have the pinfall broken up by the man not involved at the time. At one point the Bravado Brothers caught Darin Corbin with the Gentleman's Approach and just barely missed out on three count when Paul London broke up the pinfall just before the referee hit the three count. London then caught Harlem Bravado with the Please Don't Die before Darin Corbin caught London trying to come off the top rope. Corbin then tossed London out of the ring only to have Harlem Bravado come up from behind and catch Darin Corbin with a Tiger Driver. As Harlem went for the cover Paul London just barely rolled back into the ring to force the break. London then tossed Harlem out of the ring and caught Darin Corbin with a Frankensteiner and got the pinfall victory before anyone involved in the match could break it up. WINNERS: Paul London & Brian Kendrick via pinfall at the 12:34 mark of the match.Timothy Thatcher v Uhaa Nation This clash of styles saw Thatcher do his best to keep Uhaa Nation grounded and locked in numerous submission holds and at one point Thatcher locked Uhaa Nation in the Fujiwara Armbar and when Uhaa Nation started to power out Thatcher transitioned into the Thatcher Stretch, but with Uhaa Nation positioned near the ropes it was only a few second before Uhaa Nation got his foot on the bottom rope forcing the break. Thatcher then caught Uhaa Nation with a Saito Suplex and snap suplex in quick succession before trying to come off the ropes and getting caught in mid air by Nation who slammed Thatcher down hard with a powerslam. Uhaa Nation then hit the Ultra Combination for a near fall before ending this match with a kneeling tombstone. WINNER: Uhaa Nation via pinfall at the 13:53 mark of the match.Falcon Jr. v Nigel McGuinness McGuinness and the young Falcon Jr. went back and forth in this match with both men picking up several near falls as this match progressed. Falcon Jr. started to build up momentum and was well on route to earning the victory in this match when he rolled out of the way of a top rope clothesline by McGuinness. Falcon Jr. then caught McGuinness with both the Falcon DDT and Falcon Slam for back to back near falls. Falcon Jr. then caught McGuinness with a standing senton before tossing McGuinness off the ropes. McGuinness then caught Falcon Jr. with the Rebound Lariat for the victory finally putting the young masked man away in this fast paced match. WINNER: Nigel McGuinness via pinfall at the 18:38 mark of the match."The Darewolf" P.J. Black v "Future of Flight" Ricohet Ricochet opened this match with a quick jab that staggered Black back. Ricochet then connected with a slingshot clothesline that sent Black down to the mat hard. Ricochet then tossed Black out of the ring and went for springboard senton, but "The Darewolf" sidestepped Ricochet and took firm control of this match as Ricochet landed hard. Back in the ring Black kept up the attack with several kicks to a kneeling Ricochet and jumping spin kicks and a pair of STO's before P.J. Black went on tear hitting Ricochet with four straight 450 Splashes on route to earning the victory in this one. WINNER: "The Darewolf" P.J. Black via pinfall at the 7:23 mark of the match.Adam Cole w/ SoCal Val v A.R. Fox Adam Cole made short work of "The People's Choice" and former All Star Wrestling World Champion A.R. Fox in this one as he grabbed Fox and drove him hard into the turnbuckle to open this one up. Cole then caught Fox with a superkick that nearly knocked Fox out cold. Cole then caught Fox with back to back Panama Sunrises for the quick and dominating victory in this match. WINNER: "Panama City Playboy" Adam Cole via pinfall at the 2:25 mark of the match.Jazz v Nora Greenwald Jazz spent most of this match keeping Nora Greenwald on the mat and stretching her out as Jazz kept transitioning from the Boston Crab, the STF and the B!tch Clamp as she absolutely wore out Greenwald during this match. Twice when Greenwald looked to end this match with the Flipping Seated Senton Jazz sidestepped and immediately locked Greenwald back in either the STF or B!tch Clamp. When Greenwald refused to submit to a second B!tch Clamp Jazz connected with the fisherman's buster and scored the pinfall victory. WINNER: Jazz via pinfall at the 13:33 mark of the match.OI4K (c) w/ Jimmy Hart v Los Banditos w/ Sylvia Los Banditos fought hard in this match to keep OI4K and "Mouth of South" Jimmy Hart off balance as they isolated Dave Crist for most of this match wearing him down as Rico Dynamite kept locking on the Rico Death Clinch forcing Jimmy Hart to try and get involved in this one. The end of this match saw Hart try to toss his Megaphone to Dave Crist, but Rico Dynamite caught it and laid out Dave Crist. Rico then made the cover as Tito Escondido prevented Jake Crist from making the save. Following the pinfall victory Los Banditos made a quick exit from the ring with the belts before OI4K and Jimmy Hart full released the match was over. WINNERS: Los Banditos via pinfall at the 27:34 mark of the match to become the NEW ASW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!

Great to see Kendrick & London pick up a big win in that Triple Threat... And Darewolf gave an astounding performance against Ricochet...
Congrats to the new tag champs... Sylvia did a fine job coaching her team on how to deal with the antics of Jimmy Hart... Nice work by Los Banditos...
Entertaining show, as always!

FEATURING SOCAL VAL OF VALIFICENTJOHNNY PELF: Welcome to the first edition of the Launch Pad. I am your host and a principal owner of All Star Wrestling Johnny Pelf. When my sister and I first decided to open up All Star Wrestling we wanted to bring fans a true alternative to the National Wrestling Alliance. So far we believe we have done just that with All Star Wrestling as our Chosen personnel currently hold all of the championships we have sanctioned in All Star Wrestling. Today's interview will be with a woman who cased a lot of stir when she suddenly jumped from the NWA to All Star Wrestling. So without further adeu please allow me to welcome the leader of VALificent the one and only SoCal Val.SOCAL VAL: Thanks for having me today Mr. Pelf. It's a pleasure to be your first guest on this historic venture.JP: When you were in the NWA you briefly managed my former brother in law Chris Sinclair, can you tell us how that came about?SOCAL: At first I looked at joining the NWA as a huge career opportunity, as being apart of the reborn H2K put me in the position of being apart of the most dominating stable the NWA could have possibly ever seen. Sadly that euphoria didn't last very long as Mr. Sinclair almost immediately starting putting the moves on me. Well needless to say it created a very uncomfortable work environment for me as for the first time in my career I truly hated going to work. I use to even go to the Shimmer Tapings where I talked to Cherry Bomb and we shared our stories with each other. At one point I was even looking at moving from the NWA to Shimmer, but I didn't feel there was anyone in Shimmer I felt I could help at the time. That is when I had my lawyer try to find me an out clause in contract with the NWA. It turns out that Managers in the NWA are truly paid on a pay per appearance deal and the more they are used on a show the larger their take home from that show is. My contract also didn't prohibit me from working for other organizations or leaving immediately if I chose too. When you and Denise approached me about working for All Star Wrestling, as you know I didn't immediately jump at the chance until I looked at the roster you two and Jimmy Hart had put together and I saw the opportunity to bring VALificent to life.JP: You have sure put together an impressive stable in All Star Wrestling consisting of the current number one contender Adam Cole, "The Last Real Man in Professional Wrestling" Silas Young and the tag team AC/DC, who have been struggling.SOCAL: First off right now All Star Wrestling is controlled by your so called "Chosen" and believe me when I tell you this Johnny that VALificent is going to change that in the very near future. AC/DC are going to turn things around with me in the their corner and once you and your sister actually let the number one contender the "Panama City Playboy" Adam Cole have his shot at the ASW Championship that gold will not only go around the waist of Adam Cole but it'll be in the firm control of VALificent and if anyone wants a shot at Cole they will first have to go through Silas Young. You may think that having two Alpha Males in VALificent isn't a good thing, but with both Cole & Young working on the same page my stable is unstoppable. You know as well as I do Johnny that you and your sister are afraid of what VALificent is capable of that is why on the next ASW show instead of giving Adam Cole his well earned title shot you have YOUR hand picked Champion Drew Galloway defending against Adam Pearce who everyone knows doesn't stand a chance of beating Drew Galloway. So let me ask you this Mr. Co-Owner, when is Adam Cole going to get his well earned shot at the All Star Wrestling World Championship?JP: I'm sorry, but that is all the time we have for the very first edition of the Launch Pad. I've been your host Johnny Pelf, and I would like to take this time to thank my very first guest the mind behind VALificent, SoCal Val.SOCAL: (As the camera is fading out) What the F#CK!!!

Wtf, indeed... The brass can only make excuses for so long... Eventually, Drew Galloway will have to defend that title against Adam Cole... And the longer it takes, the more determined SoCal Val's top contender is going to become... Snap!

LIVE FROM THE INTERIOR SAVINGS CENTRE IN KAMLOOPS BRITISH COLUMBIA SATURDAY FEBRUARY 25th, 2017 BELL TIME: 8:05PM PST EPISODE: 10
P.J. Black v Tommaso Ciampa
Ciampa overpowered Black right from the beginning of this match which constantly frustrated Black throughout this match. Despite constantly dodging a running knee strike attempt by Ciampa Black couldn't keep up the momentum as the “Sicilian Psychopath” kept coming back stronger and stronger each time and even picked up a couple of near falls on Black. The first was with a brutal twisting neckbreaker that saw Black just barely get his shoulder up. The second pinfall attempt came after Ciampa blocked a suplex by Black and nearly took Black's head off with a lariat. Ciampa then hit a jumping piledriver for the second near fall. Ciampa then tossed Black out of the ring and as he followed Black out Black recovered and first drove Ciampa into the steel barricade before grabbing the steel chair that the time keeper was sitting in and turning around and blasting Ciampa right in the head earning the disqualification. WINNER: “Sicilian Psychopath” Tommaso Ciampa via disqualification at the 18:34 mark of the match.Ricochet v Trent Barreta Trent Barreta was all over “The Future of Flight” Ricochet right from the opening bell when Barreta blocked a suplex and drove Ricochet back into the corner and hit a top rope Frankensteiner. Barreta kept up the attack with a flying forearm smash and springboard dropkick before picking up the first near fall of the match with a double foot stomp. From there Barreta kept up the attack with several high impact moves including a corkscrew senton, leaping clothesline and ring apron dropkick before setting up the Gob Stopper with second top rope Frankensteiner. Following the Gob Stopper Barreta took Ricochet back to the mat with a leg lariat before ending this match with the Cradle Belly-to-Back Driver. WINNER: Trent Barreta via pinfall at the 7:13 mark of the match.Alere Little Feather v Rockin' Robin Alere Little Feather opened this match by trying to toss Rockin' Robin into the ropes, Robin rebounded and took Alere Little Feather down with a brutal running kick. WINNER: Rockin' Robin via pinfall at the 0:19 mark of the match.Bravado Brothers w/ Stu Stone v AC/DC w/ SoCal Val Lancelot Bravado and Darin Corbin started this match off and were the only two men who were legally in this match. Lancelot Bravado started this match off strong with the front and back clotheslines that sent Corbin crashing to the mat. Lancelot kept up the momentum hitting Corbin with a springboard double stomp, buckle bomb and the up and over power slam. Lancelot then tossed Darin Corbin out of the ring and lost the momentum when Corbin grabbed Lancelot and drove the Bravado Brother hard into the steel barricade nearly getting himself disqualified. Corbin then tossed Lancelot back into the ring and hit the Ginger Snap for the quick pinfall victory leaving the Bravado Brothers as the only team in All Star Wrestling without a win. WINNERS: Arik Cannon & Darin Corbin, AC/DC via pinfall at the 3:22 mark."Reborn" Matt Sydal v Biff Busick w/ Stu Stone “Reborn” Matt Sydal started this match strong taking the fight right to “Manliest Man” Biff Busick right from the opening bell when he caught Busick with an enzuigiri that stunned Busick. From there Sydal kept Busick on the defensive for most of the match as he hit Busick with high impact move after high impact move earning near falls with both the Aftershock and Shooting Sydal Press before Busick caught Sydal coming off the top rope with a brutal forearm shot. That one move completely swung the momentum into Busicks favor and set up Sydal getting locked in the half stranglehold. Busick then hit the decapitating clothesline and the Half And Half Suplex for a near fall before ending the match with the Biff Blockbuster. WINNER: “Manliest Man” Biff Busick via pinfall at the 13:32 mark.Timothy Thatcher v Uhaa Nation Thatcher opened this match by trying to send “The One Man Nation” into the ropes, but Uhaa Nation then sent Thatcher sending Thatcher crashing hard into the mat with a running shoulder block. Uhaa Nation then hit Thatcher with a standing shooting star press and standing moonsault in rapid succession before Thatcher fought off a belly-to-belly suplex and stunned Nation with a head butt. Thatcher then took Uhaa Nation to the mat with a snap suplex before locking on the Fujiwara Armbar which saw Uhaa Nation roll to the ropes to force the break. Thatcher then hit the Saito Suplex and the locked on the Rocking Chair Surfboard. Thatcher then transitioned into the Thatcher Stretch in the center of the ring leaving Uhaa Nation no choice but to tap out ending this short fast paced match. WINNER: Timothy Thatcher via submission at the 6:12 mark.Claudio Castagnoli w/ Larry Sweeney v Falcon Jr. “The Swiss Superman” Claudio Castagnoli used his power and size advantage to try and keep the young luchador off balance in the early stages of this one. Falcon Jr. did manage to make a comeback and even picked up a pair of near falls with back to back Falcon Slams. Falcon Jr. then tried to come off the top rope and was caught with a brutal uppercut by Castagnoli. Castagnoli then hit the Neutralizer for a near fall before hitting the masked Falcon Jr. with a lifting gut wrench and then ended the match when he knocked Falcon Jr. out cold with several brutal headbutts. WINNER: Claudio Castagnoli via pinfall at the 14:28 mark.London & Kendrick v RockNES Monsters Johnny Yuma and Brian Kendrick opened this match with a long luck up until Yuma took control and tossed Kendrick into the corner. Kendrick rebounded out and Yuma nearly took Kendrick's head off with a charging clothesline. Yuma then tagged in Johnny Goodtime and the RockNES Monsters then hit Kendrick with the Futurana and Weapons Grade Bolognium in rapid succession before they hit Kendrick with back to back Explosive Amnesia's for the victory. As Johnny Yuma made the cover Goodtime ran and knocked London off the ring apron giving the RockNES Monsters the opening they needed to pick up the quick victory. WINNERS: Johnny Yuma & Johnny Goodtime, the RockNES Monsters via pinfall at the 5:31 mark.Tina Moretti (c) w/ Jimmy Hart v Simply Luscious Tina Moretti dominated most of this match as she beat down Simply Luscious in the early stages earning several near falls in the early stages. Luscious did make a comeback that nearly saw her defeat Moretti via pinfall with three straight Luscious Landings after the third one Jimmy Hart jumped on the ring apron and distracted the referee giving Moretti a bit of a breather that Moretti used to make a comeback. Once back in control of this match Moretti dominated the remainder of the match finally putting Simply Luscious away with the Northern Lights suplex. WINNER: Tina Moretti via pinfall at the 31:16 mark to retain the ASW WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP!!!Drew Galloway (c) w/ Jimmy Hart v Adam Pearce w/ Eddie Fyne This back and forth match between the defending champion “The Chosen One” Drew Galloway and his challenger “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce saw the challenger start off strong picking up several quick near falls in rapid succession as the challenger looked to pick up the quick victory and end the reign of “The Chosen One.” Galloway did manage to make the comeback when he nailed Pearce with a brutal right hand as Pearce followed him out of the ring. Back in the ring Galloway tried to end this one right away when he caught Pearce with back to back Double Arm DDT's. From there this match started going back and forth as both Champion and Challenger looked to win at all costs. Late in this one the referee took a small bump when Pearce was coming off the top rope. The distraction was enough for Galloway to once again take control of the match as he connected with the Double Arm DDT, but without the referee there to make the cover Galloway became really angry which gave Pearce the opening he needed to once again try and pick up the victory. Pearce first caught Galloway with the Last Ride Lariat and another Jumping Piledriver which saw the referee recover just in time to almost make three count on Galloway. Pearce then hit a Superfly Splash for another near fall which saw Jimmy Hart distract the referee. Pearce then hit the Hangman's Neckbreaker which once again saw Hart distract both Pearce and the referee. Peace then set up for a Jumping Piledriver near the ropes and Jimmy Hart climbed onto the ring apron and looked to hit Pearce in the back but “Scrap Iron” turned around and Hart blasted Galloway. Pearce then covered Galloway and Galloway just barely got his shoulder up to break the count. Pearce then connected with the Last Ride Lariat and as he was going for the cover Hart once again climbed onto the ring apron, having had enough of Hart's antics blast “The Mouth of the South” with a huge right hand sending Hart crashing off the ring apron. While Hart was falling he tossed his megaphone to Drew Galloway who blasted Pearce in the back getting himself disqualified and keeping his championship reign in tact. WINNER: “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce via disqualification at the 45:26 mark. Due to the nature of the victory “The Chosen One” Drew Galloway remains the ASW World Champion.

Snap! Rough night for many of many favorites - losses all around for Black, Ricochet, Sydal and the duo of London & Kendrick...
Cheap, but brilliant, tactics by Jimmy Hart and Galloway to ensure that the Chosen One remained World champ... Both men performed well in that marathon match, but I thought that Scrap Iron was on his way to taking the title...
Great stuff, as always!
