Training camp for Team USA for Rio 2016 opens today. 34 players in camp, including 2012 gold medalists LeBron James, Chris Paul, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love and Anthony Davis. Kevin Durant & Carmelo Anthony, both coming off injuries, are in camp but not expected to do much, just maintaining their illegibility. New comer to camp include LaMarcus Aldridge, Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green. Clippers Center DeAndre Jordan is expected to be in camp, so he'll probably decide to play for China at the last minute (sorry, bitter Mavs fan moment there). Looks like a good crop of talent for Rio, though I wouldn't be surprised to see LeBron pass on the Olympics if he and the Cavs make another run to the finals this coming season (nor would I blame him, he's got a lot of miles on those legs). A little suprised that Kobe, Bosh, Wade, and Rose didn't get an invite. I'm assuming that with Bryant it's the age issue and for Bosh and the guards it's a matter of a log jam at their positions.

Sounds about right, and Rose's injury issues probably also playing a role.

I thought I read Andre Drummond had been invited. Take away his piss poor free throw shooting and he is a stud.

OK, thanks. I do not follow NBA as much as other sports so was not sure.
