I am excited for this set... Knowing Tom, I imagine that it will be worthy of the name "Grand Finale". The way I envision Legends going forward is that instead of 1 ten card set every December, they can release 2 six card sets... 1 of new wrestlers and 1 of redo's with color artwork and, if necessary, updated stats. This way people who already have the B/W sets wouldn't "need" to get the remakes if they were happy with the ones they already have. I just hope that they wouldn't arbitrarily change stats just so they can say they are updated. But I know that there are several cards that Tim, Chad and Cory have said that they would do a bit differently if they could go back. I know that one of them was Ray Stevens... I, for one, am excited to see what the future holds! That would be fine with me as long as going forward LOW sets are not all color rehashes. As a online player color sets as far as playing enjoyment mean nothing to me.

Glad it's finally announced. I do find it odd that the decision to move to full color was made but it was decided to not move to color for another year. It seems to me that doing this just creates a bigger backlog of B&W cards that need to be remade as color. Regardless, I'm excited to see who's coming in this edition. Why do they have to be remade in color? For continuity sake? I know that I was one that did not want to mix black and white sets with color sets but I've come off that stance recently. I'm certainly not saying they have to. That is just the impression that I had gotten from a podcast Tom was on a little while ago. It's also what they've been doing with COTG for quite a while, though I believe the colorization was only to the online sets.

Well Steen and Lee are already signed.
Steen is an interesting question.....it reminds me of Tyler Black...do you rush out a new card (and later probably need yet another new one as his push gets bigger) or do you wait and see where he ends up. Tough question.

I'd expect teasers next week. I'm kinda surprised they're doing all the announcements on Monday but it might be easier to just do them that way.

I would LOVE to get Terry Funk. The fact that we don't have him is not from lack of trying...

I expect a Kevin Steen with pop-up powerbomb finish to be the headliner of this set. I'm not personally a fan, but it feels like an inevitability. I wouldn't be surprised if we see an other LOW update of a LOTF guy like Lee or Austin Aries. I would love to see a tag team, preferably one from the 80's or early 90's like The Nasty Boys or Mike Enos & Wayne Bloom. I will be happy with anyone we get. My biggest hope is that we don't have a repeat of last year where we as a community get ourselves so worked up speculating about names like Funk, Hart, Windham, Vader, Luger, etc that we unduly crap on the cards we do get (I'm thinking specifically about the reaction to M.A.B and Moxley & Black).
