Mat Mania Monthly- vol 1, issue 5 December
We have some exciting news. This is the last issue of Mat Mania Monthly. How is this exciting you ask. Because starting next year we become Wrestling Wrap-up Weekly. This way we can go more in depth with all the action that is happening. Now, on to the action from last month.
ROH
12/2 The final semifinal match in the Top Prospect Tournament got the show started as Moose faced off against Brian Kendrick. Moose used his size and power advantage to control early but Brain fought back and his Sliced Bread 2 to secure the victory and move onto the finals at Final Battle later this month. Next match had Adam Cole controlling things early against Keven Steen. Jimmy Jacobs came down to ring side and distracted the ref and Cole at different times and that was the difference as Steen picked earned the victory. Hot tag team action in the following match as WGTT defeated rivals American Wolves. Neither team wanted to end the fight after the bell and had to be separated. It was then announced they would get to continue their war at Final Battle. Not in a normal match but a Fight Without Honor. That should be a wild match. The main event was Michael Elgin getting the match he wanted. One more shot at AJ Styles. It did not go the way he wanted as once again AJ showed who the better wrestler was and earned the 1, 2, 3.
12/9 Roderick Strong picked up an easy win over Mike Mondo to kick things off. Jimmy Jacobs took on Adam Cole in the 2nd match. Cole dominated Jimmy and picked up a quick win. SCUM ran in after but Cole got away before they could get their hands on him. Addiciton faced C&C Wrestling Factory next. C&C were dominating Kaz and looked to be on their way to a rare win when Kaz was able to tag in Daniels who picked up a fast victory. The main event was between former ROH World Champion Matt Taven of the House of Truth and the crazy one Tommaso Ciampa. Matt was in trouble and Truth tried to hit Ciampa with his book but Tommaso took it away and used it on Matt without the ref seeing and got the pin on Taven. Not how HoT wanted to go into the PPV.
12/13 Final Battle ppv:
1) Adam Page vs Brian Kendrick in the final of the TPT. Both guys came close to winning. At one point Moose came down and distracted ref but no one knows why. In the end Adam Page picked up the pin and became the first Top Prospect winner. After Moose got in the ring and looked angry at Brian. Perhaps he was mad at losing to Brian. Then suddenly he turned around and speared Adam. He and Brian stomped on Adam for awhile and then left together.
2) WGTT vs American Wolves in a Fight Without Honor. Both teams tore into each other even before the bell. WGTT really took it to the Wolves but they would just not go down. In the end it was the American Wolves that got their hands raised.
3) Roderick Strong vs Michael Elgin. These two had been rivals for awhile and it showed in the match that they did not like each other. Strong earned the victory over Elgin who reluctantly shook Strongs hand after.
4) Briscoe Brothers vs War Machine. In another match between wrestlers who hate each other the two toughest tag teams in RoH beat each other down. The match ended up being short as the Briscoe's hit the Doomsday early on and got the win. War Machine yelled at the ref that Mark was pulling Hanson's tights. When the ref refused to restart the match both teams just started brawling again.
5) Samoa Joe vs Homicide in a cage match. Cage matches are used for the most intense feuds and are known to be nasty. This was no exception. Both guys used the cold hard steel to bust the other up. In the end it was Joe securing the victory over Homicide.
6) Matt Sydal & El Generico vs Addiction for the RoH Tag Team Championship. After some real good early back and forth Addiciton got El Generico caught in their corner and they worked him over for a long period and had some close pin attempts. Eventually Generico made the tag to Sydal who got in and shocked Daniels with a quick pin to successfully defend their titles.
7) Jay Lethal vs AJ Styles for the RoH World Championship. Jay was in trouble early as AJ dominated him. AJ hit his finisher and seemed to be on the verge of winning the title when Truth saved him. AJ was still in control till Martini distracted ref which allowed Matt Taven to help Lethal gain control over AJ. It was all Jay needed as he kept control of the match till he finished off AJ to retain the World title. It seems Matt Taven has accepted Jay into the HoT.
12/16 The post PPV show started with War Machine taking on the new tag team of Brian Kendrick and Moose. Excuse me that is THE Brain Kendrick as he wishes to be known as now. Brian and Moose seemed to work well together but the power and experience of War Machine helped them to the win. Adam Cole faced off against Matt Mondo next and was in trouble early. But Cole fought back to get the win and keep on the roll he has been on lately. Tommasso Ciampa picked up a victory over the young Donovan Dijak. The main event was AJ Styles vs HoT member Matt Taven. This was a real good back and forth. AJ was on the way to a pin win when Truth helped save Matt. The match ended when Homicide got involved and got his stable mate disqualified.
12/23 Kevin Steen took on Top Prospect winner Adam Page in the first match. Page in control early but then Steen had the ref distracted when Jimmy Jacobs ran in and attacked Page. After that Steen dominated and picked up the W. Samoa Joe faced off against Adam Cole in a great match with lots of back and forth action. In the end Cole hit the Florida Key not once but two times in a row to earn the victory. Cole has really been moving up the ladder. HoT member Matt Taven came up short again as he lost to Tommasso Ciampa. Heated rivals and top tag teams Briscoe Brothers took on War Machine in a #1 contender match. This time it was War Machine that came out on top and earned a title shot.
12/30 The last card of the year for RoH started with a good brawl of a match between Tommaso Ciampa and Homicide. Tommaso gave it his all but came up short against the veteran and HoT member. After what happened last week Adam Page asked for a match against Jimmy Jacobs. That might have been a mistake by the new comer. Jimmy dominated him and might have earned the win but decided to dish out pain as he took his railroad spike and used it to bust open Adam and give Adam the win via DQ. Tag team action came next as Addiction took on the new team of THE Brian Kendrick and Moose. In a big upset the new team earned their first victory. Addiction was not happy about the outcome. We got a rematch from last week in the main event. Samoa Joe looked to get back at Adam Cole for last weeks loss. Adam Cole had other plans as he jumped on Joe early and never let up on the way to his second straight win over the former World Champion.
next week: Tag team title match, return of Rhino
World Champion: Jay Lethal Tag Team Champions: Matt Sydal & El Generico
NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling
12/5 Boris Zhukov defeated George Steele who consoled himself after the match by eating a turnbuckle. The Sheik earned a clean pin win over Les Thatcher in a bit of a shocker. Bobby Heenan led his team of The Vachons against the Samoan Swat Team in a losing effort. Heenan looked beside himself after. Bobby got some good news in the main event when his man King Kong Bundy defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
12/12 The NWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Giant Baba kicked off action against Mr X in a non title match. It seems Mr X has heeled from his wounds as he was no longer wearing bandages over his mask. It did not matter as Baba picked up an easy win. Cowboy Bob Orton took on Bobo Brazil next and defeated him in a good match. Lanny Poffo was looking for a rare win as he battled Masked Superstar but the possibility of being pinned again got to him and he ignored the ref's warning to stop beating on Masked Superstar in the ring and he got disqualified. Well at least Lanny did not get pinned. The Tag Titles were on the line in the main event as the Road Warriors faced off against the Samoan Swat Team. The Warriors dominated the SST early but the SST fought back and almost pulled off the upset. Key word being "almost". The champs held onto their titles.
12/19 The last show before Starrcade, which was the next day, opened with Heenan Family member King Kong Bundy dominating Les Thatcher until Les caught Bundy with a sunset flip and scored the upset win. Koko B Ware continued his losing streak as he lost to Boris Zhukoz. Due to Boris's winning streak it was announced after the match he would get a title shot against Giant Baba at the Starrcade PPV. Tag team Midnight Express had a rematch against Killer Bees from last month. The Midnighers did not take the Bees lightly this time and earned the solid victory. The main event was Ted Dibiase against Angelo Poffo. Ted controlled early and seemed on the way to the win but then Poffo turned it around and hit his finisher not once but twice and got the pin on Ted.
12/20 Starrcade ppv:
1) Giant Baba vs Boris Zhukov for the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship. A good slug fest that ended with Boris submitting to a bear hug by Baba.
2) The Vachons vs Samoan Swat Team. In a match up between two teams trying to get on a roll we saw The Vachons simply dominate the SST. Samu never got in as The Vachons got the win.
3) The Sheik vs Masked Superstar. A decent match that saw The Sheik earn a submission win.
4) King Kong Bundy vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan. King Kong Bundy hit the Avalanche and won with a 5 count. A good PPV for the Heenan Family as they went 2-0.
5) Road Warriors vs Mr Fuji & Mr Saito for the Tag Team Championship in a No DQ match. A rematch from earlier that saw the champs on the verge of losing the belts and end up losing the match via DQ. This time the Warriors were hungry for a decisive victory and that is what they got. The challengers got in very little offense.
6) Andre the Giant vs Mil Mascaras. This was another rematch as these two faced off in the semi final of the World title tournament at Halloween Havoc. Just like that match this one saw Mil pull up the upset over the 8th Wonder of the World. He did not get to celebrate however as soon after the final bell someone from the crowd ran in and attacked him. It was none other than Bruiser Brody!!! What was the wild man doing in NWA:GCW and what was his beef with Mil Mascaras?
7) Randy Savage vs Ted Dibiase for the World Championship. A rematch from Halloween Havoc when these two faced off in the final of the World title tournament. As good as that match was this one was even better. So much back and forth and near falls. In the end, after slapping on his sleeper finisher three times to only have Randy fight them off, Ted put Randy in the figure four and got the champion to submit. Your winner and NEW World Champion...Ted Dibiase.
12/26 The post PPV show started with Heenan in the locker room to introduce the newest member of the Heenan Family. It was the wild man Bruiser Brody. Well that explains they Brody attacked Mascaras. The Heenan Family has had wars with Mil and been unable to get the better of him. So Bobby brought in a ringer. The Family sure has changed this year. From a team of mostly quality wrestlers to one more of muscle and brutality. The action kicked off with Les Thatcher picking up the win over Lanny Poffo. Cowboy Bob Orton won in the next match over George "the animal" Steele. The Midnight Express looked to get another win and move closer to a title rematch when they took on the team of Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Hillbilly Jim. However the Express got upset when Duggan hit a spear on Bobby to earn the pin. The main event saw new Family member Bruiser Brody take on Mil Mascaras. Brody was in control early and it seemed that Heenan would finally get some revenge against Mil but Mil fought back and when Bobby could not distract him nor the ref once again he tasted defeated. Brody looked shocked as we went off the air.
next week: #1 contender match for the World Championship
World Champion: Ted Dibiase Tag Team Champions: Road Warriors
AWA
12/1 Freddie Blassie took on Bryan Danielson to start this weeks show. Bryan was simply dominated and took the loss. Young new comer Magnum TA, who has been a hit with the ladies, has been on a roll but that came to an end when he lost to Red Bastien. It seems the young stud has much to learn. The main event was a World Championship title match, best of 3, with the champion Buddy Rogers taking on Harley Race. This was an instant classic. The first fall went to Race after hitting the piledriver finisher. In any other promotion he would have been the new champion. But this is AWA and the world title is defended in 2 of 3 falls. During the second fall Race was in control. The other members of the Four Horsemen tried to get involved but the ref was not having it as he had them escorted to the back. However the breaks in action seemed to let Rogers catch his breath and he slapped on the figure four to earn the victory and even the match at 1 fall a piece. The third and final fall was a slobber knocker that finally ended when Rogers was able to place Race in his finisher once again in the middle of the ring and finally Race had to submit. Winner 2-1 the champion Buddy Rogers.
12/8 Jimmy Hart is on the screen at the start of the show and says he is bringing a tag team...next week. Who is he bringing in with him? Someone he has managed before or a new team? The opening match saw Jimmy Valiant defeat Playboy Buddy Rose. Finlay and David Taylor, now calling themselves The Empire, took on the Love Brothers in tag team action. Sadly the new name did not come with a victory. After the match the Brothers were attacked by their enemies Iron Sheik and Volkoff. Once control is restored it is announced that both teams will face off at the first AWA PPV next month in a No DQ match. It will be a long wait till January to see these two tag teams have the chance to rip into each other. Red Bastien defeated Bill Dundee in the main event.
12/15 The show opens with The Empire in the ring waiting on their opponents. Out comes Jimmy Hart to introduce the tag team he is managing. It is the legend Bret "The Hitman" Hart and his younger brother Owen Hart, The Hart Foundation. Jimmy sure has a good one and the champs just might be in trouble. The Empire put up a good fight but lost the match in the end. The next match was one of extremes in regards to experience. Young Magnum TA vs the aged veteran Frank Gotch. Poor Frank has been on a horrible losing streak since he has come to AWA and this week did not change that as he was dominated from bell to bell. The main event saw the muscle of the Four Horsemen Killer Kowalski face off against a guy who has been on a run Red Bastien. Killer quickly derailed that as he simply dominated poor Red and made him live up to his name be it the red welts on his chest or the blood flowing from his forehead. He looked like he had been in a war.
12/22 Magnum TA saw his return to the win column short lived as he lost the opening match to Jimmy Valiant. Seems Jimmy has been having some success as a single wrestler. Perhaps he should stick there instead of teaming with his brother. Bryan Danielson got a rematch with Freddie Blassie and looked to get revenge for losing to him recently. He was on offense from start to finish. Poor Freddie could not get any traction but he did not go down easy. The main event was for the Tag Team Championship as the champs The Sheepherders took on challengers the Love Brothers. It seems The Sheepherders know they have many teams gunning for them and they wanted to send a message to those teams. They were all over the Brothers soon as the bell rang and simply destroyed their opponents. If the beating they took in the loss was not enough once the match was over Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff ran down and attacked them. Soon after that the Hamilton Wrecking Crew and Killer Kowalski jumped The Sheepherders as they were leaving. I guess one thing the champions can be happy about is that the Love Brother and the team of Sheik & Volkoff seem to focused on each other to really care about the world tiles. At least for now.
12/29 Killer Kowalski took on Bobby Shane in the opening match. Poor misguided Shane tried to pick up Killer for a body slam to start the match. It only went downhill after that as Kowalski got an easy win. Next match saw the Hart Foundation take on Jimmy & Johnny Valiant. The Valiants put up, shall we say, a valiant effort but just could not get the job done and Bret got the victory for his team when Johnny submitted to the Sharpshooter. Perhaps what we said about Jimmy was more right than we knew. Buddy Rogers came out to offer Frank Gotch a non title match. It seems that Rogers has high confidence due to Gotch's poor record since entering the AWA. The match started pretty even till Gotch tried to bounce off the ropes and Killer Kowalski tripped him up. After that Buddy took control and got the submission win thanks to his figure four.
next month: AWA's first PPV, Supercard.
World Champion: Buddy Rogers Tag Team Champions: The Sheepherders
ECW
12/7 Eddie Gilbert vs the masked warrior Delirious to kick off action. Delirious was in control almost the whole match till the end when Eddie his his finisher to get the win. Jerry Lynn defeated D'lo Brown in a solid match next. Tag action came after that as the team of Sandman & Tommy Dreamer beat the Naptown Dragons. Then in the back area Super Crazy confronts One Man Gang about The Shard when out of nowhere The Shard attacks Crazy. As be he beats Crazy down, One Man Gang just watches. The main event has RVD taking on Taz in a non title match. These guys have history and recently Taz returned and attacked the champion. However since then Taz has had some issues in his matches. His poor showing continued as RVD did not seem to have much trouble putting him away.
12/14 An exciting match to get the party started as Super Crazy took on The Shard. He got the win and tried to unmask The Shard but One Man Gang ran in and attacked Crazy. OMG laid out Crazy and then turned around and took a chair shot from The Shard. It looks like The Shard wants to do more damage when security runs down to stop him. As the other two recover security has to keep all three separated. Taz bounced back from his disappointing showing last week with an easy win over Larry Sweeney. Sabu battled Val Venis nest and Val earned the win via submission with a reverse figure four. The Tag Title Championship was on the line in the main event as die Jager faced off against Sandman & Tommy Dreamer. Lately die Jager has stepped it up when the belts were on the line but not this time as Sandman pinned Donst to earn the belts for his team. As the new Tag Team Champions celebrated the sound of a raven is heard through out the arena as we go off the air.
12/21 Sabu requested a rematch with Val Venis and got it to start the show. The results were basically the same except Val won with a pin this time. The Naptown Dragons took another loss as the Young Bucks beat them. Taz continued his march back to the top as he faced one of the guys who beat him recently, Eddie Gilbert. This time Taz dominated Eddie from start to finish and got a quick win. He sure looked impressive. One Man Gang was looking for some revenge in the main event against The Shard. He got the win but he had to hit the 747 two times. After the match Super Crazy ran down and attacked both of them with a chair. This is turning from a battle to a 100 year war.
12/28 The show starts with Super Crazy in the office of the GM demanding to know who The Shard is and what he wants. As he is going off One Man Gang comes in with the same demands. They are giving it to the poor GM when we go to the ring for the opening match. Larry Sweeney is in the ring waiting on his opponent. New comer to ECW Necro Butcher is announced and he runs down and starts attacking Larry even before the bell. Necro scores the quick win. He looks so insane he makes Super Crazy seem normal. Young Bucks face off against Val Venis & D'lo Brown next. The Bucks are being dominated when Matt pulls off an upset win out of nowhere thanks to an unexpected super kick. We got a good match between Crossbones and Rich Swann after the tag match. Swann just came up a bit short. Before the main event the camera shows The Shard in the back and says next week he will reveal who he is. FINALLY! Finally we will get some answers. RVD put his title on the line against Al Snow in the main event. Snow got in some offense but not a lot. RVD spend a good portion of the match beating down on Al outside of the ring including some chair shots that seemed to really daze Snow. Finally RVD laid Al down in the ring with a chair on top of him and hit the 5 Star Frog Splash to get the win.
next week: We finally learn who The Shard is. Oh and Sabu vs Taz in the main event. But mostly we get to learn who The Shard is.
World Champion: RVD Tag Team Champions: Sandman & Tommy Dreamer
CHIKARA
12/4 Sara Del Rey showed she can hold her own against the boys in the opening match by beating Archibald Peck. Next Ultramantis Black got the win over Pinkie Sanchez. Brodie Lee picked up a quick win after hitting his finisher on Green Ant. The main event Incoherence was upset by The Throwbacks.
12/11 We were treated to a Japanese legend in the opening match when Jushin Liger faced off against Icarus. It was a good match with high flying moves, counters and counters to counters. In the end the legend secured the victory. Daizee Haze wanted to show Sara wasn't the only girl that can go as she faced Archibald Peck but it was not to be as Peck scored a shocking quick win. The Throwbacks looked to pick up their 2nd point toward a title shot but came up short against former champs Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw. Claudie Castagnoli faced Chuck Taylor in the main event and the Swiss wonder got the pin victory.
12/18 The show begins with a mysterious masked man handing Ultramantis some kind of jewel. He says once it is used to get what you want it must be given away. Otherwise bad things will fall upon you. Ultramantis says he understands and they walk off in opposite directions. Pinkie Sanchez and Daizee Haze start off the action and Pinkie picked up the win. Brodie Lee went up against Jigsaw and just as quick as Lee won a couple weeks ago he lost this week. After the match he looked like he had no idea what just happened. Ultramantis Black beat Johnny Gargano in the next match. But all the announcers could talk about is what was that jewel he got, who gave it to him and what was it that Ultramantis wanted. The main event was a rematch from two weeks ago as Incoherence took on The Throwbacks again. This time they took the fight to The Throwbacks from the start and simply dominated the multi sport tag team. Thanks to a victory on a house show Incoherence now has 2 points. Next week it is announced they will face another 2 point team in former champions Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw to see who can get that all important 3rd point and thus a title shot at The Colony for the Campeonatos de Parejas titles.
12/25 The show starts with Sara Del Rey teasing Daizee Haze in the locker room about her recent losses. Daizee tells her to stop but when Sara doesn't Daizee attacks her. So much for xmas good will. They start brawling and work their way thru the entrance, down the ramp and into the ring. A ref runs in and calls for the bell. It ends up being a short match as Sara dominates and then pins Daizee. The next match was a xmas colors match with red and green, er wait it was pink and green as Pinkie Sanchez faced Green Ant. Green Ant must have got some good xmas gifts he wanted to get back to as he made short work of Pinkie and got a quick win. The one sided battles continued as Icarus dominated and won over Johnny Gargano. After the match the back stage reporter caught up with Ultramantis to ask about what we saw last week. Ultramantis would not say who the mysterious man was but did say the jewel was the Eye of Tyr. It had great power and could grant power over other people. When asked who he was planning on using it against he said he did not have time for any more questions as he had to get his men, Incoherence, ready for their important main event match but we all would find out next week. That was next. Incoherence was in control for most of the match early on. Then Hallowicked tossed Jigsaw out of the ring. That was a big mistake as Mike came in, took control and got the win. That means his team now has 3 points and earned a title shot. Meanwhile Incoherence lose their points and go back to a big fat zero. Guess Ultramantis needed even more time to get them ready. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.
next week: The show will is named "New Years, Old Faces". Eddie Kingston will defend the Young Lions Cup. We learn who Ultramantis wants to control with this Eye of Tyr, assuming it actually works.
Campeonatos de Parejas: The Colony Young Lions Cup: Eddie Kingston

ROH
1/6 Roderick Strong took on Donovan Dijak to start the weeks show. Strong took it to Dijak from the start and finished things quick when he rocked the poor newcomer with a Sick Kick. The next match saw the return of Rhino. He took on Michael Elgin in a battle of two big hosses. They slugged it out and the match went back and forth till finally Rhino put Elgin away with a Spear. After the match the HoT came down to try and get at Rhino but Elgin helped fight them off. It looks like the HoT has not forgotten how Rhino turned on them. Speaking of HoT, Matt Taven had a rematch with AJ Stlyes in the following match. Truth was not at ringside, perhaps to taking a right from Rhino earlier, and that might have hurt Taven as AJ picked up the win. Tag Team titles were on the line in the main event. The #1 contender War Machine took on the champions Matt Sydal & El Generico. The champions were in control most of the match as War Machine could not seem to get any traction. Eventually El Generico ended it with a Brainbustaaahhh!!!! This team did not look like much when they first formed but they have been dominating of late and look to hold the titles for a long while. After the match it was announced that next week we will have a #1 contender match for the World Championship. It would be between AJ Styles, Adam Cole and one more wrestler. The third wrestler is a surprise and someone that is not in ROH right now. Who could it be?
World Champion: Jay Lethal Tag Team Champions: Matt Sydal & El Generico
NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling
1/2 The opening match pits King Kong Bundy against Les Thatcher. Les tried his best but he could not overcome the size advantage of Bundy. The match ended after Bundy beat down Les outside the ring and Les could not make it back in before the 10 count. So Bundy was the winner via count out. Next saw single action by two tag team members as Hawk of the Road Warriors took on Mr Fuji. Hawk took control from the start and with a few exceptions he kept it through out the match before finally picking up the pin. We had tag teams in action in the next match. The Vachons took on Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Hillbilly Jim. It was a match of two teams heading in opposite directions. The Vachons have been sliding as they keep losing while Duggan & Jim have been winning and possibly moving into position for a tag title shot. The main event was a #1 contender match for the World Championship between former champion Randy Savage and Mil Mascaras. This was an amazing back and forth match that saw both men come close to getting a pin. Finally Savage took it outside, hit a flying ax handle, tossed Mil back in the ring and hit a Flying Elbow Drop to get the win and earn a title shot. So we will be getting another great match between Randy Savage and Ted Dibiase.
World Champion: Ted Dibiase Tag Team Champions: Road Warriors
AWA
1/5 A rematch between Magnum TA and Red Bastian kicked off the show. The young Magnum was looking to make up for a loss to Red from a few weeks back. He was not going to give Red the chance to do it again as he took it to Red from the bell and his his finisher quickly and picked up the W. This kid sure looks like he has a great future ahead of him. The Four Horsemen's Hamilton Wrecking Crew took on The Empire in tag action next. The Tolos boys had David Taylor stuck in their corner at the start and worked him over. It looked like they would pin him for a quick win but he got in a few shots and was able to tag in Finley. Finley got some good offense in and made a couple pin attempts but then the Crew regained control and did not give it up. They continue on their path to facing the Tag Champions. In fact they have a title match this coming Sunday at the first AWA PPV, Supercard. The main event was a match between rivals William Muldoon and Bryan Danielson. It was a bit hard hitting with some good wrestling and in the end it was Muldoon who came out on top. Danielson was very upset after. He grabbed a mic and challenged Muldoon to one more match. Muldoon said he had nothing to prove. He is far better than Danielson. But Bryan was not going to accept that. So he decided to make an offer Muldoon can not refuse. He said one last match at Supercard but not a normal match. It will be a loser leaves town match. The crowd gasped at this and stopped Muldoon in his tracks as he was leaving. He stood there, thought about it for a bit, turned his heard around and said "you got it". The crowd went wild as both men stared down each other and the show went off the air. Wow what a crazy turn of events. This for makes the PPV a must see.
World Champion: Buddy Rogers Tag Team Champions: The Sheepherders
ECW
1/4 We were treated to Necro Butcher in the opening match again as he faced off with Chris Candido. Poor Candido did not stand a chance as Necro attacked him at the bell and simply destroyed him, to the pleasure of the crowd. It seems like he is a big hit with the ECW fans. The next match was between a couple guys who had not made much head way in ECW. Eddie Gilbert took on Larry Sweeney. Eddie showed who the better wrestler was from the start but finished the match in a less than admirable way with a fire ball to Larry's face. After the pin Larry needed help to the back. Will Larry just take this or will he be looking for revenge.
After the commercial break following the last match The Shard came down to the ring. He asked for a mic and asked One Man Gang and Super Crazy to come down to the ring. Once they joined him in the ring, all three were eyeing each other, The Shard said they had wanted to know who he was. Well it was time to tell them. He grabbed the bottom of his mask and slowly started to pull it up. Both OMG and Crazy were leaning in and trying to get a look to see who he was. The Shard pulled his mask up over his chin, then his lips came into view and he moved it up past his nose when suddenly two men ran in and attacked OMG and Crazy with chairs laying them out. The announcers were wondering what was going on when one realized who the men were. "That is Kip James and BG James. What are they doing here?" The Shard pulled his mask back down and knelt down down by the laid out bodies of Gang and Crazy. "You two were just taken out by BG and Kip James. They are the tag team of Voodoo Kin Mafia. As far as your question of who I am, I am their leader. Welcome to your nightmare." With that he dropped the mic and stood up. He and the Voodoo Kin Mafia stood tall over Gang and Crazy as we went back to commercial.
The announcers were still abuzz about what just happened as we went to the next match. The Young Bucks faced off against the team of Jerry Lynn & Colt Cabana. The match had lots of action as the Bucks made numerous tags and all four men kept things quick with exciting moves. In the ends the Bucks showed they ARE young and it was the experience of their opponents that seemed to be the deciding factor. The crowd gave them a standing ovation after and both teams acknowledged each other. The main event was between Sabu and Taz. They went back and forth but slowly Sabu started to take control. He hit the triple jump moonsault a couple times but did not hit them very good and so did not get the pin. A bit later he went for it again but third time was not the charm as he missed it. That was the beginning of the end for Sabu. Taz took control and got the win.
World Champion: RVD Tag Team Champions: Tommy Dreamer & Sandman
CHIKARA
1/1 New Years, Old Faces. The year kicked off with CHIKARA and the show started with Ultramantis being asked in back who is he bring in. Who he is using the Eye of Tyr on. He would not give a direct answer but simply said that person will be in the main event against Eddie Kingston for the Young Lions Cup. We then go to the ring for the opening match. Sara Del Rey took on Pinkie Sanchez. It was a good close match but Pinkie was able to pull out the win. This was Sara's first loss since CHIKARA started on TV. When she got to the back she heard some laughing and looked over to see Daizee enjoying Sara's loss. Green Ant took on Brodie Lee in a rematch next. This match went the same as the last as Green could not get anything going against Lee and took the pin. Claudio Castagnoli went against Archibald Peck next and was dominating the band leader. He was on the way to a pin win and Peck knew it so he used his baton and got disqualified. Finally it was time for the main event. The champion Eddie Kingston came out first. Then Ultramantis came out with the Eye of Tyr. The crowd was getting restless to see who he had with him. Slowly someone came into view. The crowd popped when they saw it was a returning Delirious. The only difference was he was wearing a white mask as opposed to the green one has won his whole career. Was there any significance to this or was it simply a time for a change. Turns out it was not the only difference because as the match started he seemed a bit slow and unsure. Hardly the wild man we are use too. The one who seems out of control while still being in control. It hurt him too as Eddie ended up getting a quick win. Ultramantis was very upset after. He was yelling at Delirious and then told him to get to the back. How is Ultramantis going to react to his plans failing? And does he have more in mind than bringing Delirious back to The Order of the Neo-Solar Temple and this title shot that ended in defeat?

ROH
1/13 What an action pack show this week. The main event was a Triple Threat match for the #1 contender to the World Champion and one of the participants would not be known to the match. Before that we had some good matches. To open the show Samoa Joe took on SCUM member Steve Corino. Joe was in control and looked to be on the way to an easy victory. Then the rest of SCUM jumped in and attacked Joe causing Corino to get DQ'd. The next match had some solid tag team action as the Addiction faced off against the Worlds Greatest Tag Team. The Addiction controlled the match early but the WGTT fought back. Lots of tags and double teaming. In the end Kaz took the pin again and again Daniels did not look happy. Roderick Strong went up against Homicide next. Homicide was beating down Strong from the start and even got in a fork dig into his forehead out of the ref's view. Strong got mad after that and took it to Homicide and picked up the win.
Then it was time for the main event. First out was Adam Cole to a decent reaction. Next was AJ Styles to a good pop. The crowd got an AJ chant going. Both men looked at each other than toward to the entrance to see who their opponent would be. The crowd also was waiting in anticipation. The lights dimmed and the crowd went wild when the screen flashed "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived". That is right, Austin Aries was back in RoH. He took his time getting in the ring, playing up to the crowd. All three men shook hands tentatively. After the bell they looked at each other and AJ and Adam decided to work together and double team Aries. Was it possible they were upset at him coming and taking their thunder. After beating him down Cole turned on AJ and sent him out of the ring. For most of the rest of the match it was Adam vs Austin in the ring as AJ either laid outside of it or tried to get back in with little success. When AJ did get back in he was not in for long before being set back out. Finally Austin started taking control. He went up and hit the 450 splash. He went for the pin but AJ attempted a springboard leg drop to break up the pin. However Aries saw it coming and moved causing AJ to leg drop Adam causing more damage. Before AJ could react Aries picked him up for a brainbuster. Aries then deciding Cole was more damaged went for the pin. After the ref slapped the canvas three times we had a new #1 contender, Austin Aries. Could Jay Lethal be in trouble?

NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling
1/9 A tag team rematch got the action started as Midnight Express took on Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Hillbilly Jim. The Express was looking to avenge a loss to Duggan & Jim earlier. This was a brutal back and forth with the Express relying on their speed, quick tags and double teaming while their opponents used their size and strength advantage. In the end Eaton and Duggan were outside of the ring and Bobby lost his cool and grabbed a chair. After hitting Jim with it the ref disqualified his team. We think these teams are not done with each other. Two crazy men faced off next as The Sheik took on George Steele. This was a short match as The Sheik was in control from the start and like the first match this one ended outside the ring with a DQ due to chair shot. It was Steele using the chair to lose the match. The following match was an example of grit. King Kong Bundy went against former stable mate Angelo Poffo. Bundy hit his finisher Avalanche not once but twice and Poffo kicked out to the surprise of both Bundy and Heenan. King Kong continued to punish his opponent and later he hit a third Avalanche but instead of going for the pin he went and hit a forth thinking that was the end. But once again Angelo kicked out. Poor Bobby Heenan almost lost his mind outside of the ring. He was running around yelling and flaying his arms. He did not have to worry for long as soon Bundy hit a FIFTH Avalanche and finally was able to get the win. The main event was not in doubt as much. The Tag Team Champions Road Warriors ran down and attacked their challengers, The Dream Team, before the bell. The dominated with Dream Team getting in very little offense. Finally Hawk finished off Valentine with a gorilla press slam. It looks like no one in NWA:GCW is a serious threat to the Warriors. Is it time to look outside the fed for a challenger?

AWA
Big action for AWA this week as they had their first PPV along with their weekly show.
1/10 Supercard PPV
1) Hart Foundation vs The Empire. The Hart brothers pretty much dominated and Bret finished off Finlay with the Sharpshooter.
2) Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff vs Love Brothers in a No DQ match. After months of being annoyed by the Love Brothers the two foreigners got their revenge. They won the match and beat down the Brothers after. The cameras then went to the back where Harley Race, who was challenging for the World Title in the main event, was lying on the ground gripping his left knee. It seemed someone attacked him.
3) Killer Kowalski vs Magnum T.A. This match up between Four Horsemen member and the young rookie was a good match. At least from the beginning. Kowalski took control soon enough and finished off the rookie with his Claw Hold. After the bell he let go of the hold for a short while then went back to it. He ignored the ref's orders to let go as Magnum was in obvious pain. Suddenly someone came running down from the back. It was Nick Bockwinkel. Before he got his hand on Kowalski the Killer bailed out of the ring. Nick didn't bother to chase him as he checked on the hurt rookie.
4) The Sheepherders vs Hamilton Wrecking Crew for the Tag Team Championship. The good times continued to roll for the Four Horsemen as the Crew beat up and then just beat the tag champs. Your winner and new Tag Team Champions, the Hamilton Wrecking Crew. Will the Horsemen's dominance continue in the main event. Seeing as Race was hurt it would seem so.
5) William Muldoon vs Bryan Danielson is a Loser Leaves Town match. Muldoon was in charge early but Bryan fought back and after hitting Cattle Mutilation twice he got the three count. Muldoon just sat in the middle of the ring after in total shock. His career in AWA had came to an end. Meanwhile Bryan celebrated as his was going on.
6) Buddy Rogers vs Harley Race in a World Title Cage match. First Harley hobbled down to the ring and got inside. Then the champion came down as boos were rained down onto him. This would be a traditional cage match meaning the escape rules did not apply. As the bell rang Rogers took it too the challenger, working his knee over. Before long he slapped on the Figure Four and have the first fall in the best of 3 title match. Things did not look good for Harley. As the bell rang for the second fall Race came at Rogers like a desperate man. Which he was. He took control but it would not last long. Rogers put him in the Figure Four again and Race fought his way out of it but was in considerable agony. Buddy knew it and he quickly slapped it on again and forced Harley to eventually submit. Your winner 2 falls to none, Buddy Rogers. It was a clean sweep for the Four Horsemen and they now hold all the gold in AWA.
1/12 The aftermath of Supercard started with the Four Horsemen in the ring celebrating their dominance. It was interrupted by Nick Bockwinkel at the top of the stage. He challenged Killer Kowalski to a match tonight. Killer excepted and we had our main event set. The first match was Freddie Blassie vs Johnny Valiant. Johnny put up a decent fight but the vet Freddie got the win. Tag team action was next as Hart Foundation battled the team of Bill Dundee & Bobby Shane. It was obvious the Hart's had been teaming much, much longer and got the easy win. The main event saw Killer Kowalski and Nick Bockwinkel tear into each other. Surprisingly Nick was in control most of the way as Kowalski struggled to gain any momentum. Nick then slapped on the Sleeper and it looked like Killer was in trouble. The Hamilton Wrecking Crew tried to save him. As one brother tried to distract the ref the other came in to break the hold. But the ref was not falling for it, turned around to catch the interference and called for the bell. Your winner via DQ, Nick Bockwinkel. He did not get to celebrate as the Horsemen beat him down. As the show ended they stood tall over his body.
World Champion: Buddy Rogers Tag Team Champions: Hamilton Wrecking Crew
ECW
1/11 A lot happened this week. Show started with Dreamer walking in back and coming across a tall lanky wrestler. They seemed to know each other. Dreamer addressed him as Stevie. This Stevie said it had been a long time and it was weird that they ended up wrestling for the same promotion. So it seems this guy is a new ECW wrestler. As Dreamer walked off Stevie watched with a smirk on his face. He then made a phone call and said "hey boss, guess who I just ran into? Yep things are about to get interesting around here, huh". Then we cut to One Man Gang in the GM's office demanding a tag team match against the Voodoo Kin Mafia. The GM asked who he had in mind for a tag partner. OMG got a mean grin and said "I don't need no partner. I am One Man Gang. I can take those two punks on by myself". So the match was made.
The opening match was a rematch between two guys who do not like each other, Sabu and Val Venis. Recently Val had got the better of Sabu but finally the Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal Sabu had his revenge as he got the win. After the match we got a promo for a new wrestling coming in, "The King of the Trailer Park" Jon Moxley. It followed him around a trailer park as residents paid him respect. Guys came up to give him 6 packs of beer and cigarettes. Women in hot pants and halter tops yelled out and waved at him. He said this was his domain and next week we would see how he became a fighter. The next match saw Necro Butcher take on D'lo Brown. Brown could not do much as Butcher was all over him and hit Choose Death. In any other fed that would probably have got Necro disqualified but ECW is not any other fed. It seems the ref is giving wrestlers a LOT of leeway.
Before the next match we see Al Snow somewhere in a dark corner of the arena. He was sitting down and rocking back and forth. He had a wild look on his face. Kept mumbling something. The camera man got closer to see if he could pick up what Al Was saying. It sounded like he kept repeating the word "head" over and over. When Al looked up and saw the camera he growled and came at the camera that then cut off. The announcers were discussing what just happened. One said Al had not been seen in a couple weeks and in his last match he took some hard hits to his head. So maybe that is what he was talking about. Perhaps he had a concussion. It was time for the tag match. BG started off against One Man Gang. OMG used his massive size advantage to devastate BJ. He had a bunch of pent up anger and he was unleashing it all. He hit the 747 and went for the pin but Kip came in to break it up. With no one to stop him it was easy. The ref quickly got him out of the ring and ONG went back to the beat down he was giving BG. He tossed him outside of the ring to continue the punishment. Kip jumped off the apron and ran around to save his partner but it was all a set up. ONG knew he would and greeted him with a massive chair shot to the head. To be safe he hit Kip with the chair a few more times and then tossed BG back into the ring. A short time and another 747 later and the match was over. Wow, One Man Gang can beat a whole tag team on his own. The main event was a Tag Team Championship match between the champions Sandman & Tommy Dreamer and the challengers Jerry Lynn & Colt Cabana. The challengers took control early but the champs fought back and after Sandman hit the DDT on Colt the champs got the pin and retained their Championship. As they celebrated the sound of a raven is heard thru the arena.
World Champion: RVD Tag Team Champions: Sandman & Tommy Dreamer
CHIKARA
1/8 The show kicks off with a match involving the returning Japanese superstar Jushin Liger. He faced off against The Order of the Neo-Solar Temple member Hallowicked. This was a face paced match with lots of high flying. Of course Liger is the master of those kind of matches so of course he came out on top. New comer Shane Storm took on Archibald Peck in the next match. Peck did everything he could including using his baton but ended up eating defeat. This new comer looked pretty good. Delirious fought Johnny Gargano and a couple times started to look like the old Delirious but for the most part stayed in control of his emotions and got the win. We do not know but there is just something weird seeing a Delirious that is not out of control running around all over the place. In the main event Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw cashed in their points for a title shot against The Colony. Unfortunately it was to no avail as the champions won the match up 2-0. Where do the challengers go from here. Do they try and earn another 3 points or do they go in search of single success?

Rumors and News
- ROH will have a PPV next month. It will be their Anniversary show.
- Someone has been following Ultramantis Black around at house shows. They show up in the first row whenever he comes out to the ring but then disappear when he leaves.
- We reported last week of a talent returning to RoH. It seems Kyle O'Reilly has been wrestling in a tag team in Japan and they will be making their debut in RoH soon.
ROH
1/20 Michael Elgin and Donovan Dijak hooked up in the nights first match. The young rookie did a great job holding his own. It was a long brutal match. It seems Dijak was going to pull the upset but it was not to be. Kevin Steen went up against Samoa Joe next. Steen took it to Joe right after the bell but his control was short lived as Joe started gaining control. The action spilled outside of the ring. Steen tried to hit Joe with a chair but missed. Joe took it away and ended up hitting Steen forcing the ref to call for the bell. Winner by DQ, Kevin Steen. A rematch of the Top Prospect final followed. The result was different as The Brian Kendrick picked up the win after hitting his finisher early on and got the pin. Then it was time for the main event. World Champion Jay Lethal faced off against Austin Aries. It was a top notch match as both guys took control at different times. In a rarity for a HoT member match there was no outside interference. The match turned when Aries went for the 450 splash and missed. Awhile after Lethal slapped on the Koji Clutch and picked up the win. Jay Lethal is looking strong and it is questionable who can beat him. Who will he face at next months PPV?
World Champion: Jay Lethal Tag Team Champions: Matt Sydal & El Generico
NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling
1/16 The show starts with an announcement that NWA:GCW will be adding a new title belt, the US Heavy Weight Title. Next week they will announce who will be in the tournament. Then it was time for action. Mil Mascaras had a rematch with Bruiser Brody. In a rare occurrence one of Heenan's man got a win over Mil Mascaras. Next Mr Saito took on Koko B Ware. Once again Koko lost. Then we see Samoan Swat Team in their locker room getting ready for the next match. Captain Lou Albano walked in and said they have not been doing good but he can help fix that. He sits down to discuss some strategy as we go to commercial. SST vs Killer Bees is the next match. It seems the strategy session paid off as the SST was in control most of the match and got the win. The main event was a title match for the NWA Mid-Atlantic Hvy Wgt Championship. The champion Giant Baba took on Heenan Family member Cowboy Bob Orton. Earlier Heenan was happy when his man beat Mil and he was even happier after Orton won the match and the title. It had been awhile since the Family had some gold in it and now it does. Maybe he can get someone in the US tournament and get even more gold.
World Champion: Ted Dibiase Tag Team Champions: Road Warriors
AWA
1/19 Bryan Danielson started the action going up against the vet Frank Gotch. Gotch was trying to get off the long losing streak but it was not to be. Rookie Magnum T.A. faced off against Bill Dundee next. Magnum was in control early. Bill got a bit of offense in and then tossed Magnum outside of the ring. He went out after the rookie and started pounding on him. Magnum got mad and started to fight back. They were all over the place and finally Magnum went too far and gave a belly to belly suplex to Dundee tossing him onto the announcers table and the ref disqualified him. Magnum seemed confused that after some of the things that Dundee had done to him that this was what was considered crossing the line. The main event was between the former tag champions The Sheepherders and the Hart Foundation. It was a good match but the Hart brothers were too much for the former champs. With the Hart Foundation being on a winning streak since arriving in AWA it should not be long before they get a title shot.
World Champion: Buddy Rogers Tag Team Champions: Hamilton Wrecking Crew
ECW
1/18 The show starts with The Shard and the Voodoo Kin Mafia in back. VKM was telling The Shard they were sorry they lost last week. He said it was not a problem. They had a tag match tonight and he knew they would get the win. Then we see Al Snow somewhere in a dark area of the arena. He has his hands on his head as he said no over and over. Then he stopped, got quiet for a bit and slowly looked into the camera. He said "tell them I am coming and heads coming with me". Then the camera went to the announcers. "Um ah, what was that?" "Did he say head is coming with him?" "I think so but surely he meant to say hell, right?"
After the weirdness it was time for some action. Jerry Lynn was in single action against Larry Sweeney. Lynn proved to be too much for Sweeney and got a fairly easy win. Next was a tag team match between Voodoo Kin Mafia and the Young Bucks. BG started things for his team like last week and looked like he would never get to tag out like last week too. Young Bucks used very frequent tags to wear him down. He did eventually get to tag his partner Kip in. The match went back and forth with the Bucks keeping up the high volume of tags but eventually VKM used their strength advantage and got the win. We then get another promo for "The King of the Trailer Park" Jon Moxley. It shows him competing in backyard wrestling and in underground fight clubs. He then is talking to the camera. "As you can see I know how to kick ass. Well next week I start doing that in ECW. You all been warned".
Necro Butcher had another match and another win as he beat Rich Swann with the Choose Death. He has been pretty dominating since entering the ECW. The main event was a #1 contender match between One Man Gang and Taz. One Man Gang had a lot of momentum after beating a tag team last week by himself. It seemed Taz knew that because he took it to OMG from the start. He hit multiple different suplex's and while OMG got in some offense it was not enough as Taz got the win and the title shot at RVD.
World Champion: RVD Tag Team Champions: Sandman & Tommy Dreamer
CHIKARA
1/15 The show starts with The Throwbacks in the ring waiting on their opponents. The crowd was shocked when former ECW Tag Team Champions die Jager, Ares and Tim Donst, came out. Well it seems they were at least one of the teams CHIKARA was going after and this explains why they did not get a rematch with Sandman & Dreamer. The match was a sweet back and forth affair and in the end the new comers picked up the win in their debut. Archibald Peck had a match with Daizee Haze next. Daizee finally got a win. Will she be able to keep this going? Brodie Lee took on Icarus next. He used his height advantage and dominated the match for a fairly easy victory. The main event was a trios match between The Colony & Green Ant and Ultramantis Black & Incoherence. It was a fast paced match with many tags and guys getting in as their partner went out of the ring. In the end it was The Colony & Green Ant coming out on top.

Rumors and News
-The first match for the ROH Anniversary PPV has been announced. Tag Team Champions Matt Sydal & El Generico will be defending their titles against not one, not two but THREE challengers in a Four Corner Elimination match. Their opponents will be the teams of War Machine, Worlds Greatest Tag Team and Addiction.
-Speaking for ROH tag teams, the Briscoe Brothers have not been seen in awhile and the rumor is they might be on the move to another company.
ROH
1/27 The opening match was between Rhino and SCUM member Jimmy Jacobs. Jimmy was in trouble early as Rhino dominated him. It looked like Rhino was on his way to a victory when he got distracted by Steve Corino hopping on the ring apron. While Steve did not actually get involved he made a difference as Jimmy used the distraction to gain control and eventually hit his finisher for the win. After the match the screen showed a dragon looking menacingly then it shoots fire and the words "Coming Soon" flashed on the screen. What could that be about? Next we had a rematch from last month as Tommaso Ciampa take on HoT member Homicide. The match started off real good with Ciampa mostly in control. Once the match moved to outside of the ring thing fell apart. Both guys were brawling and the ref thought Homicide went to far and called for the bell giving Tommaso the victory via DQ. Tag team action followed as WGTT and Addiction had a rematch of their own. This time Addiction came out on top. Neither team wanted to shake hands after. In the main event AJ Styles and Adam Cole, the two guys who did not win the recent #1 contender match, faced off. AJ got the early advantage but could not keep it as Cole fought back and picked up the victory.
World Champion: Jay Lethal Tag Team Champions: Matt Sydal & El Generico
NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling
1/23 The show starts with the Tag Team Champions the Road Warriors being interviewed. They are talking about how they are the most dominating tag team these days and no one can challenge them. They are then interrupted by Captain Lou Albano. He said he is not managing a team and his guidance will get them to be able to beat the Warriors. Out comes the Samoan Swat Team. Both teams are jawing when another team comes out. Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Hillbilly Jim say they have beat some of the best teams and deserve a title shot. Lou says they have not beat his men. Before things could get out of hand it is announced that there will be a #1 contender tag match next week between the two teams and the winner will get a title shot the week after that.
After the commercial the participants in the US Hvy Wgt Championship tournament, which starts next week, are announced. They are NWA Mid-Atlantic Champion Cowboy Bob Orton, Mil Mascaras, Bruiser Brody, The Sheik, Masked Superstar, Les Thatcher, Mr Saito and Angelo Poffo.
The action starts with Heenan Family member King Kong Bundy taking on Giant Baba. It looked like Baba was going to take back to back losses to Family members after losing his title last week to Orton. Bundy controlled early but Baba fought back and got the win. Next we had two tag teams who had been losing of late and both were looking to change that trend as Midnight Express took on The Vachons. Stan Lane was in trouble early as the Vachon brothers kept him in the ring and worked him over. Eventually he got the tag and the Express started gaining control. They hit Veg-O-Matic on Mad Dog and looked to have the victory but Butcher broke it up and both teams brawled. Eventually the ref regained control and The Vachons went on to gain the win. The Midnight Express was not happy and both teams started to fight after the match. Looks like a rivalry is developing here. Masked Superstar picked up a W against Les Thatcher in the next match in what could be a preview of a US Title Tournament match. Then it was time for the main event World Championship match. Randy Savage was looking to regain the World title from Ted Dibiase and he took it to the champ from the opening bell. He was dominating as he never gave Ted time to breath let alone gain any momentum. Eventually Savage his ax handle outside of the ring, rolled Ted back in the ring and hit a flying elbow to gain the victory and become the new World Champion. This is his 2nd run with the title.
World Champion: Randy Savage Tag Team Champions: Road Warriors
AWA
Johnny Valiant took on a man not seen in AWA for awhile, Missing Link, in the opening match. It seemed Johnny knew how to confuse the crazy Link and picked up the win. Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff took on The Empire in tag team action next and came out on top. Who knew when these two first teamed they would become such a coherent team. They should be in line for a tag title match soon. The main event was a rematch between Nick Bockwinkel and Killer Kowalski. Nick took it too Killer and controlled most of the match. Every time Kowalski gained some momentum Nick took it back. He slapped on his Sleeper finisher but Killer was able to make it to the ropes to gain the break. However the damage was done as right after Nick put Killer in his version of the Figure Four and picked up the win. It looks like the Horsemen and Buddy specifically has a tough adversary.
World Champion: Buddy Rogers Tag Team Champions: Hamilton Wrecking Crew
ECW
The show starts with Chris Candido in the ring but no sign of Tammy Lynn Sytch. Then his opponent came out and the crowd was not sure what they were seeing. It was Al Snow but he had a more unkempt look as his hair was all over the place and he had something written on his forehead. It read "help me" but it was written backwards. If that was not bizarre enough he was holding what appeared to be a hairdresser's head mannequin. Al had a crazed look in his eyes. Someone needs to get this poor man some help. He hopped on the apron, faced the crowd, bent down placing the head in both hands between his legs and then stood upright as he lifted the head above his head and shook it forward and back violently. He then placed it on the turnbuckle in the corner and the match got underway. We had a back and forth match and it looked a few times like Chris was going to pick up a rare win. In one bizarre moment Al was in the corner and looked to be trying to tag out to the mannequin head. The match turned when Chris tossed Al into the corner where the head was resting. When Chris ran in to deliver a clothesline but Al grabbed the mannequin head and hit Chris with it. A most unusual head butt but it worked as it helped Al get the win.
After that weird match the Tag Team Champs, Sandman & Tommy Dreamer, came out to the ring. Sandman did most of the talking and said that they had no real challengers left in ECW so they were offering an open challenge to any tag team anywhere for next week for the tag titles. Wow this is big. Who will answer the challenge? The next match saw new comer Jon Moxley make his ECW debut as he took on Colt Cabana. Jon went right at Colt from the start and was very physical. It resulted in a quick, dominating win. Poor Colt never knew what hit him. Jon sure looked impressive in his debut. While this match was over fast the next one went on a bit longer as Sabu took on Super Crazy in a battle of some of the best high flyers. Both guys had chances to pick up the win but in the end it was Sabu that got his arm raised. After the match The Shard and the Voodoo Kin Mafia ran down and attacked Super Crazy. They left him laid out as they stood over him.
Finally it was time for the main event. It was a World title match between the World Champion RVD and #1 contender, and RVD nemesis, Taz. Things did not look promising for RVD as the ref was one Bill Afonso who has been known to favor Rob in his matches. The match started a bit slow as there was a feeling out process but soon picked up. RVD went for an early pin but did not get the usual quick count from Alfonso. Maybe Bill was going to call this right down the middle for a change. Taz started to gain control via a storm of suplexes and some big boots to the face. He went for a pin a couple times and it seems Alfonso made quicker counts. Finally Taz hit his Tazmission-Plex and Bill made a real fast three count and we had a new ECW World Champion. Taz jumped on the corner to celebrate his victory as an upset RVD got in Bill Alfonso's face. It seemed the former champ and ref were not on the same page. Just as things were heating up between them Taz came down off the turnbuckle and turned RVD around to get in his face. As that happened Alfonso kneeled down behind RVD and gave him an uppercut low blow. It seems Bill Alfonso has aligned himself with Taz. How will ECW officials handle one of their referees working with a wrestler in this way.
World Champion: Taz Tag Team Champions: Sandman & Tommy Dreamer
CHIKARA
Ultramantis Black is shown walking backstage when the show starts and he is confronted by the mysterious man that has been stalking him. The man demands Black hand over the Eye of Tyr. Ultramantis refuses saying he is using it again today. He walks off and the mysterious man says "You have no idea the trouble you are going to cause yourself...and CHIKARA".
Sara Del Rey faces off the Green Ant in the opening match. Green Ant is in control of early and looks like he will gain a rare win. Then he tosses Sara out of the ring and made the mistake to go after her. She gained control of things and tossed him back in. Before long she put him in the LeBell Lock and got the submissive win. Next die Jager took on the unusual team of Archibald Peck & Pinkie Sanchez. We are sure die Jager saw an easy chance to earn the 2nd of the 3 needed points to challenge for the Campeonatos de Parejas but that was not to be. The unusual pairing picked up the win as Pinkie pinned Tim. die Jager was angered by what happened and they brawled with the winners after the match. The next match was between Shane Storm and Johnny Gargano. Shane attacked as soon as the bell rang and hit his finisher early to get a dominating win. In the main event Mike Quackenbush went up against the monster Brodie Lee. Brodie used his size and power advantage to destroy Mike. In another shocker this night Mike put up little resistance before being pinned. Post match Ultramantis Black stood at the top of the ramp and held the Eye of Tyr high. Someone came running in from behind him. They were not recognizable at first but soon it was realized it was a returning Crossbones. He had a new outfit since last seen. He slide into the ring and started to beat down Quackenbush. The last time Crossbones had been seen in CHIKARA he had lost a match to Mike Quackenbush that had seemed to end their feud. After that he had been wrestling in NWA East Coast Wrestling which of course became ECW. After laying out Mike he got up and looked at Brodie Lee. They looked at each other but nothing happened as Lee just backed up and left the ring. Ultramantis came to the ring and joined Crossbones. It seems he used the Eye to bring back Crossbones and thus strengthen The Order of the Neo-Solar Temple. In fact the Temple now has every member that has ever been involved with it together at the same time for the first time. Five members strong. What does this mean for CHIKARA? And how will the mysterious man feel about Black not only not returning the Eye of Tyr but using it a SECOND time?

Rumors and News
- A mysterious message appeared on CHIKARA's web site saying "A Storm is Coming"
- ECW will be having a new PPV in March
ROH
2/3 Michael Elgin took on Samoa Joe in the opening match in a battle of two big strong men. The match was a good competitive one as it went back and forth but in the end it was Joe who got the pin. We then had the screen show a dragon looking menacing and the words "Next Week". So looks like the first post Anniversary show will have the answer to this message. Next match was between Roderick Strong and Matt Taven. Strong was pretty much in control the whole match and got the win. After we see Taven in the back yelling at Truth Martini. He is asking why Truth did not come out with him for his match and why no one can to help him. Truth is trying to calm him down but it is not working. Tag team action is next as War Machine takes on The Brian Kendrick and Moose. Kendrick started and held his own. He tagged in Moose and not long after things started going bad for their team as War Machine dominated Moose. They hit their finisher but Brian broke up the pin attempt. Soon after Moose was able to tag out and Brian was a house on fire. Before long he hit a flying forearm of the turnbuckle and got the win for his team in what can be called an upset. The main event was between two of the top single guys in ROH. The Greatest Man That Ever Lived Austin Aries and Adam Cole who has been on a roll of late. This was a good match and again a bit of an upset as Cole got the pin on Aries after a couple Florida Keys. After the match it was announced Cole would get the World title shot at the Anniversary ppv. That will be this coming Sunday.
World Champion: Jay Lethal Tag Team Champions: Matt Sydal & El Generico
NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling
1/30 The show starts with the first match in the US title tournament. It pitted Bruiser Brody against Les Thatcher. This was a quick match as Bruiser dominated Les and got the victory. Bobby Heenan was very pleased. Boris Zhukov destroyed Lanny Poffo in the next match as Lanny got in little offense. Another US title tournament match followed as Mil Mascaras took on Mr Saito. In what will be seen as a major upset Mr Saito moved on by beating Mascaras. Considering the difficulties the Heenan Family has had with Mil could Bobby try and sign Mr Saito soon. The main event was a #1 contender match between Samoan Swat Team and Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Hillbilly Jim. You can definitely see the influence Captain Lou Albano on the SST. They put up a good fight as this match went back and forth and back again but in the end Duggan and Hillbilly Jim came out with the win and the tag team title shot next week. Perhaps it is time for them to give their team name. Jim Jim? Two Jims? Nah best to stick with out a team name.

2/2 Magnum T.A. had a rematch with Bill Dundee from a couple weeks ago where they fought outside the ring and Magnum got DQ'd. This time he kept the match inside the ring and picked up the win. Every time this young man loses he bounces right back and wins. He has such a bright future. Bryan Danielson and Johnny Saint were next and had a wrestling classic. Bryan got the better of Johnny for most of the match but could not put him away as Johnny kept fighting back. Eventually they ran out of time and the match ended in a time limit draw. We are sure we will see these two again real soon. The main event saw the Tag Team Champions but their belts on the line against the Hart Foundation. In this battle of brother teams it was the Hart's who dominated. To be fair they dominated only one brother as Chris Tolos started the match and the Hart Foundation kept him in the ring. The champs were not going down easy thought as every time one of the Hart's went for a pin either Chris kicked out or John ran in and broke the attempt. Even Killer Kowalski ran down and got involved. But in the end the ability to make frequent tags was the difference as the Hart Foundation got the pin and became the new Tag Team Champions. How will the Four Horsemen respond to this turn of events?
World Champion: Buddy Rogers Tag Team Champions: Hart Foundation
ECW
2/1 The show kicks off with a match of high flyers as Jerry Lynn took on Rich Swann. Jerry showed how important experience is as he controlled most of the match and got the win. After the match we see the Tag Team Champions in back. Stevie Richards walked up to them and brings up how last week they offered an open challenge for a title match. Tommy looks a bit concerned but Richards said don't worry their mutual friend isn't interested in taking them up on it. He wishes them luck and says they can do the same for him as he has his first match next week and then walks off. Sandman tries to ask Tommy who Stevie was talking about but Dreamer just waved him off as he did not want to talk about it.
Next match is "The King of the Trailer Park" Jon Moxley against Eddie Gilbert. Eddie controls early but has trouble putting Jon away. He even used a fireball but Jon kicked out. Granted it was not full on but still impressive. It seemed that fired up, pun intended, Moxley as he started a comeback that ended in his getting the win. The following match saw the return of Adrian Street. He had not been seen in almost 3 months when he was injured by Bruiser Brody after Street beat Maurice Tillet in a loser leaves town match. It was due to that injury that Kevin Sullivan ended his Army of Darkness. Adrian was not alone as he had a valet with him, a Miss Linda. His first opponent since he came back was a tough one for the exotic one as he took on Necro Butcher. It turned out Adrian was up to the task even if he had to hit 3 finishers to get the win. This was the Butchers first loss since arriving in ECW. How will the wild one respond?
It was time for the main event. The Tag Team Champions Sandman & Tommy Dreamer came out. Sandman got on the mic and said "who has the nads to come challenge us?". There was a short wait and we are sure no one was expecting who came out. The crowd sure was not as they were shocked to see none other than Mr Fuji. Sandman looked to be at a loss for words so Tommy took the mic and asked who his partner was? Was Mr Saito with him? That being in reference to the recent tag partner of Mr Fuji. Mr Fuji then got a mic and dropped another bomb. He said "I am not here to challenge you myself but to manage the team that is. THEM!!!" he then pointed to the back and out came to big men wearing black jackets with spikes and black masks. Mr Fuji then mentioned their names as each took off a mask. The first guy had a painted face of red and silver. Fuji called him Ax. Then the next guy took off his mask and had a blue and silver painted face and Fuji said he was Smash. "They are Demolition and they will destroy you. ATTACK!!!" he yelled as this new tag team ran down and started brawling with the champs. Both tag teams fought for a few minutes before the ref was able to get things back under control. Demolition controlled the match early and were working over the Sandman. Eventually he was able to tag out to Dreamer. Then the champs started to gain control. It was a tough match but in the end, thanks to a couple shots of Sandman's Singapore cane, the champs held onto their belts. They sure are looking like a tough team to beat but we do not think they are done with this new team. Speaking of, how much damage is Demolition going to cause in ECW? Of course that is assuming they are here to stay and this was not a one shot thing.
World Champion: Taz Tag Team Champions: Sandman & Tommy Dreamer
CHIKARA
1/29 The show kicks off with tag team action. First out was a team new to CHIKARA but not TV, Naptown Dragons. The former ECW team has a tough first match as they took on former Campeonatos de Parejas champions Incoherence. They looked to be up to the challenge early as they were in control after the opening bell. However the Neo-Solar Temple team showed why they are a threat to any team as they got the win. Welcome to CHIKARA Dragons. Next Sara Del Ray went up against Pinkie Sanchez. Pinkie was dominating Sara then he tossed her out of the ring. He made the mistake, or was it, of going to far as he was beating her down and finally the ref disqualified him giving Sara the win. After he tossed her back in the ring and his recent tag partner Archibald Peck ran down and the two of them started to work her over. As they were Daizee Haze jogged down with a chair. Seeing the recent history between Sara and Daizee it looked like Sara was in big trouble. But after getting in the ring and seeing the laid out Sara who the two men were gesturing to Daizee did not swing the chair at her but at both men. The crowd went wild as she hit Pinkie in the gut and after he bent over on his back. Then she turned toward Archibald as he looked on shocked and hit him on the side of the head. Both men rolled out of the ring to try and recover. Meanwhile Daizee looked down at Sara who was slowly recovering herself and trying to figure what was going on. Instead of hitting her, Haze offered Sara her hand and helped her up. They had an uncomfortable stare off for a bit then seemed to come to an understanding. Daizee then asked for a mic and offered a challenge for a tag match next week against Archibald and Pinkie. Pinkie seemed fired up for it but Archibald did not and he quickly left. Have to wait to see if we get this match or not. As we go to commercial Sara and Daizee hit the turnbuckles and play up to the crowd.
We come back from commercial to a match between the returning Crossbones and the tag partner of Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw. We are sure Jigsaw was looking to get some revenge for his partner but this was not his day. Crossbones dominated the match as he came right at Jigsaw and simply physically assaulted him and before long picked up the victory. It seems Ultramantis Black has his Temple on point and on the path to ruling CHIKARA. Can anyone stop them now? The main event was a non title match between Young Lions Cup champion Eddie Kingston and Claudio Castagnoli. That was a good thing for Eddie as he had an off day and could not get on track before losing to Claudio.

Rumors and News
- another mysterious message on the CHIKARA web site, "The Sword will fall"
- the American Wolves have not been seen in ROH for awhile but they have reappeared in Japan. It seems they are doing a tour over there for now. It is unknown if they will return to ROH when they are done in Japan.
ROH
2/7 ROH Anniversary ppv:
1) Matt Sydal & El Generico (c) vs War Machine vs Addiction vs W.G.T.T. in a Four Corner Elimination title match. Many fans thought this should have been the main event before the card started and the way the match went they might have been right. Daniels and Hanson started off the action. Hanson had control early but soon Daniels took over. He worked over Hanson for a bit then tagged in his partner. Kaz continued the assault on Hanson and even made an unsuccessful pin attempt. He than tagged in Benjamin. The W.G.T.T. made some tags as they continued to punish Hanson and eventually pinned him thus eliminating War Machine. Benjamin got the pin but before he could celebrate El Generico ran in and attacked him. He could not cash in on the pearl harbor as Benjamin soon gained control and W.G.T.T. started wearing him down. Sydal made a couple pin saves but he made one less than needed as Benjamin got the pin on Generico and eliminated the tag team champions. So at the end of the match we would have new Tag Team Champions. Daniels ran in and went to work on a slightly tired Shelton. Addiction and W.G.T.T. went back and forth but in the end Daniels hit Angel's Wings on Benjamin and got the win for his team. The winner and NEW Tag Team Champions, Addiction.
2) Austin Aries vs The Brian Kendrick. The winner of the Top Prospect Tournament faced off against The Greatest Man To Ever Live. It looked like the vet took his opponent lightly as Kendrick pulled the upset after hitting his finisher for a third time.
3) Jimmy Jacobs vs Rhino. This was a rematch from a couple weeks ago. It started off back and forth but slowly Rhino started to gain control. Jimmy distracted the ref while Steve Corino jumped on the apron. Rhino went after him but missed. This distraction was enough for Jimmy as he hit his finisher and got the win.
4) Roderick Strong vs AJ Styles. A good match between two top guys that went back and forth. In the end Strong hit a Sick Kick and got the win. Styles was very upset after.
5) Kevin Steen vs Samoa Joe. Two brutes went at it and while Joe came close he could not put Steen away and in the end the leader of SCUM got the win.
6) Tommaso Ciampa vs Homicide in a No DQ match. Both men tore into each other. The match could go either way but turned when Truth Martini pulled the ref out. The distraction let Homicide regain control and get the win. Would the momentum for the HoT continue into the next match?
7) Jay Lethal vs Adam Cole in a World Title match. Cole had been on a role of late and he continued on that path to start this match. He hit a Florida Key early but Jay kicked out. Both men battled hard. Once Cole started getting closer to a victory Truth Martini pulled the ref out of the ring. Unlike the last match the ref did not stand for it. He was not going to let the match end this way but he threw Truth out. While Cole was watching this Lethal recovered. Cole turned around and Jay hit him. Then Jay hit a Lethal Injection but Cole kicked out. He could not kick out of the next one as Lethal hit hit his finisher again right away and got the win to retain his title.
2/10 The show started with Austin Aries in the ring demanding a rematch with The Brian Kendrick. He said he was embarrassed and needs to regain respect. Out came Kendrick with Moose. The Brian Kendrick said he is the better man and Aries needs to face that. If Aries wants to lose again that is fine by him. So we have a match. Austin showed why he is one of the best today as he dominated the match. Even Moose trying to get involved could not save Brian. After hitting a second brain buster Moose tried to get in the ring but Aries attacked him and went for the pin. Kendrick kicked out, as he did after Aries followed that up with a 450 splash but could not do it a third time as Aries hit another brain buster and got the win. We had another rematch between a vet and rookie as Roderick Strong took on Donovan Dijak next. If you remember when they met up a few weeks back Strong won when he clocked Donovan with a Sick Kick. This match went pretty much the same way as Strong got the win. After the match he helped Donovan up and showed him respect for putting up a good fight.
We came back from a commercial to see Addiction celebrating in the ring. They were talking about how they are the best tag team in wrestling. Suddenly some unknown music hit, a dragon appeared on the entrance screen and two men walked up the ramp. It was a returning Kyle O'Reilly and a veteran of wrestling Bobby Fish. Kyle said they are reDRagon and THEY are the best tag team in the world. Addiction are, or rather were, the best in ROH. Now that reDRagon are in ROH Addiction are no longer the best in ROH and soon they will realize that first hand. Because reDRagon are coming for the belts. From one return to another as Silas Young has a match with Adam Page. Young has not been seen in months. The young Page was in control early but once again it was the vet that got the win. The main event was between W.G.T.T. and former Tag Team Champions Matt Sydal & El Generico. Sydal started the match and had W.G.T.T. on their heels. Things changed once he tagged in his partner. W.G.T.T. slowly started wearing El Generico down and while Matt saved him once he could not do it again and W.G.T.T. got the win.
World Champion: Jay Lethal Tag Team Champions: Addiction
NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling
2/6 US Title tournament match started things as The Sheik took on Masked Superstar. The Sheik did not even wait for the bell as he attacked Superstar as soon as he entered the ring. He kept him on the defensive. The Sheik accidentally, or was it, bumped the ref. While he was down The Sheik hit a fireball on Superstar and got a quick win. Midnight Express faced off against Killer Bees in tag action next. It seems the Express are annoyed on their recent losing steak and being unable to get the tag titles as they took it to the Bees and got an easy win. In the final opening match of the US Title tournament Cowboy Bob Orton faced former stable mate Angelo Poffo. This match was full of action and both guys had their chances but in the end it was Orton who got the win. Could he be a double champion soon? Speaking of titles the Tag Team Championship was on the line in the main event as the Road Warriors battles the #1 contenders Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Hillbilly Jim. Duggan was in trouble early and it looked like it would be another easy victory for the champs. But he fought back and was able to tag in Hillbilly. After that the challengers were the ones in control as they started to do something not seen before, dominate the Road Warriors. There were many close pins but the Warriors would not go down easy. Animal tossed Duggan out of the ring and went after him. His anger got the better of him as he hit Duggan with a chair and got his team disqualified. The teams started to brawl and it took a lot of security to separate them. Things are not over between these teams that is for sure. Next week we will crown a new champion as we will have our first US Champion.

AWA
Three days before the AWA card we talked to the World Champion and leader of the Four Horsemen, Buddy Rogers, about their recent set backs. You can see the full interview on our web site but the highlight was he said that while they have slipped from the high point there were at after Supercard they will be back there soon. They are the Horsemen and they are the most powerful force in professional wrestling. It seems people have forgotten that but soon they will be reminded.
2/9 The show kicks off back stage as the Four Horsemen are beating down the young Magnum T.A. I guess we now know what Buddy was talking about. While the high points of their glory at Supercard was the Hamilton Wrecking Crew winning the tag titles and Rogers dominating Race while defending the world title that glory started with Killer defeating Magnum and beating him down after. It seems they were using that as a point to regain that glory. By the time security got to where they were to stop the assault Magnum was a bloody mess. He was left laying in a puddle of his own blood and the Horsemen were celebrating.
Bobby Shane took on Missing Link in the opening match. Shane was in control early and that seemed to frustrate the Link as before long he took things outside of the ring and swung a chair to earn a DQ loss. Former tag champions The Sheepherders went up against Love Brothers next. It seemed they were not prepared because the Love Brothers earned a quick win over the cousins. In the main event Nick Bockwinkel took on Freddie Blassie. The vampire like Freddie had Nick on the ropes early thanks to some hard hitting and lots of biting. However the vet's ability took over and before long Nick had the win.
World Champion: Buddy Rogers Tag Team Champions: Hart Foundation
ECW
2/8 The show starts with RVD in the locker room yelling at referee Bill Alfonso. RVD is saying Bill screwed him out of the title and he is going to pay for it. Bill is saying RVD is wrong, he had to make the three count and there was nothing he could do. RVD grabs Bill but before he can do anything he is attacked by Taz. After Taz lays out RVD Bill yells at RVD that he brought this on himself. He did not treat Bill with the proper respect like his man Taz does. Bill says he brought Taz to the top and he will keep him there. It is time for action as Stevie Richards makes his TV debut. His opponent is Val Venis. Val controls in the beginning but Stevie fights back and gets the victory. Next the Voodoo Kin Mafia takes on recent new comers Demolition. VKM knew they could not match Demolitions strength so they hit quick and kept moving. They used their speed and finesse to their advantage. However they turned their backs on their opponents after the win and payed for it. Demolition, with the help of Mr Fuji, attacked VKM and laid them out. Adrian Street had a match with Colt Cabana next. This was a great match as the advantage went back and forth between them. The difference in this match was Miss Linda. First he distracted Cabana while he had momentum thus letting Street regain the advantage. Later she would choke and claw at Colt while the ref was distracted or could not see. So in the end it was the exotic one that got the win. The main event looked to be a real good match as One Man Gang faced off against Sabu. It sure started that way but then the action spilled to the outside. Both men tore into each other like two wild beasts. They used chairs to hit each other and the ref was letting it go. Then they started to brawl in the crowd and that seemed to be the last straw. In a rarity in ECW these days the ref called for a DQ. In fact it was a double DQ with neither man winning. We are pretty sure these two will do battle again real soon.
World Champion: Taz Tag Team Champions: Sandman & Tommy Dreamer
CHIKARA
2/5 We begin with Sara Del Ray and Daizee Haze being interviewed in back about recent events. Daizee says she hates to admit it but Sara teasing her was the best thing for her. She had not been living up to her potential. What Sara did sparked a fire in her. Daizee says she has not lost since then with one exception. She slowly turns to look at Sara. She says that was the loss to Sara that she plans to avenge one day. Just not today. For now they will be teaming up and dealing with some mutual problems. Namely Archibald Peck and Pinkie Sanchez. Long as they are not too scared to face a couple ladies.
The opening match is a rematch between die Jager and The Throwbacks. This was a wild match as twice the men inside the ring ended up outside and their partners jumped in the ring to take over. In the end die Jager won. We then see Pinkie and Archibald in back. Pinkie says he is ready for this challenge and they can beat these little girls. Archibald is not so sure. He says they should refuse. Eventually Pinkie talks him into it and we have a main event set. Fire Ant vs Johnny Gargano is next. It has been awhile since we have seen Fire Ant in single action. He showed that he can do in solo as well as in tag action as he picked up the victory. After the commercial Shane Storm is in the ring waiting for Delirious. It seems like maybe he will be a no show when he finally comes out. At first he seemed a bit wild like the old Delirious but then he regained his composure and made his way to the ring. He wrestled a more traditional match and gained the pinfall win in dominating fashion. After two costumed men came into the ring and attacked Delirious. One of the men was quite large. Before long they had laid him out and stood over him. They did a salute and then slowly left. Finally it was time for the main event. Archibald Peck & Pinkie Sanchez took on Sara Del Ray & Daizee Haze. Sara and Pinkie started the match and Sara was in trouble before long. Pinkie and Peck tagged in and out a few times before Pinkie tossed Sara out of the ring. That was a mistake because Daizee came in got the better of Pinkie and quickly hit her finisher to gain the victory for her team. Will the ladies remain a team or will this be the end already?

Rumors and News
- ECW's next PPV will be named Barely Legal and be in March
- CHIKARA has announced they will have a trios tournament in April
- While Mr Fuji has not officially retired from wrestling he is planning on cutting back and focus on managing
ROH
2/17 Show starts with the World Champion Jay Lethal and Truth Martini in the ring. Jay is talking about how he is the greatest champion and he has beat all the top guys in ROH. In fact he is so dominating that ROH officials had to bring back guys like AJ and Aries to try and dethrone him but to no avail. Then Matt Taven's music hits and he slowly walks out to ring side. He says while it is true Lethal is a great world champion and has beat everyone he has faced he has not beat all the top guys in ROH. Because Jay has not faced him. Matt says he is a former champion and if Jay really wants to be the best he needs to face and beat him. With that Matt slowly walks off, looking back one time right before walking thru the curtain. Looks like there is more trouble in the House of Truth.
Silas Young takes on Donovan Dijak in the opening match. It is hard hitting between two tough men but in the end Dijak got a rare victory. Maybe the post match talk he had with Roderick Strong last week helped. Next it was time for the debut of reDRagon as they faced off against SCUM members Jimmy Jacobs & Steve Corino. Both teams had good members but it was obvious reDRagon had been teaming more frequently as they earned the win. We had Moose in a rare single match as he took on Adam Cole. Cole looked to be on the way to a win but Moose fought back and hit a Spear out of nowhere and got the upset win. The main event was between Roderick Strong who has been on a winning streak and the top guy of SCUM Kevin Steen. In another shocker Steen dominated Strong and before long slapped on a sharpshooter and got Strong to submit. We are sure Strong is going to want a rematch due to both how bad he did over and the fact he was made to give up.

NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling
2/13 Tonight we would crown a new champion as we will have the first ever US Title champion. The show opens with the Heenan Family in back. Bobby is saying tonight he will have two belts in the Family. He knows he will get one guy in the final but he has a good chance of getting two guys thus making it 100% sure he will have the US Title. He was hoping Bruiser was going to get revenge over Mil Mascaras but Mr Saito made sure Mil was not going to be a thorn in the Families side today. The Vachons chirped in and said they got a match too and they are starting on the path to tag gold. Bobby said that is right. He then turns to Bruiser Brody and asked "you ready big man?" and the two or them walked out for the opening match.
Bruiser Brody vs Mr Saito in the first semi final match of the US Title tournament got the action started. Two weeks ago Saito was able to pull the upset to get to this point but his luck had ran out. Brody dominated him and got an easy win. Heenan was excited as he was guaranteed of at least one man in the finals. The next semi final match was between Heenan's man Cowboy Bob Orton and The Sheik. Orton's Mid-Atlantic title was not on the line. The Sheik was in control early but lost focus and tried to throw a fireball a couple times and that gave Orton time to recover and he did not give up control and soon had a win and was moving on to the finals. We thought Heenan was going to pop he was so excited jumping up and down. He had both of his men in the finals and after the main event would have the US Title in the Family.
The Vachons battled the Dream Team in tag action next. The Dream Team have seemed lost since they lost their manager and this was another example of that. The Vachons kept Brutus Beefcake in the match and worked him over, keeping him from tagging out. Before long they had earned the win keeping the good times rolling for the Family. Greg Valentine seemed upset at his partner after the match. When we come back from commercial we see Heenan talking to his men Brody and Orton telling them how their plans worked to perfection. He turned to Brody and said this would be a quick match. All he had to do was lay down, let Orton pin him and Orton would be a double champion. "Let's go get our gold," and he left with his men. Orton was first and seemed happy while Brody let them start off and then slowly followed. After the introductions and the bell Heenan was gesturing Brody to lay down. He looked at the mat, Heenan and Orton. He kept looking at all three in different orders. Finally he moved to the middle of the ring and got down to one knee and stopped moving. Orton came over to him and suddenly Brody got up, grabbed Orton and tossed him across the ring. The crowd went wild as Heenan looked on with a shocked look on his face. Brody and Orton started to fight and wrestle. The match went back and forth and it seemed Orton would win anyway but Bruiser refused to go down and he hit a big boot and ended up with the three count and the US Title. Heenan did not know what to make of this. His stable had 2 titles but not the way he planned. Then again, did they have 2 titles or was Brody going to strike out on his own? The show ended with Heenan checking on Orton and Bruiser stomping around in the ring holding the US Title up high.
World Champion: Randy Savage Tag Team Champions: Road Warriors US Title: Bruiser Brody
AWA
2/16 The show kicks off with a replay of the beat down the Four Horsemen gave to Magnum T.A. last week. It is announced he is a bit hurt but will be ok. Also do to their actions the Horsemen would not be here this week except Buddy Rogers who will defend his World Championship against Nick Bockwinkel. How will Buddy handle not having his teammates around during his title defense? The first match is a rematch between Bryan Danielson and Johnny Saint. Johnny starts off in control but Bryan quickly turns things around and picks up a quick win. We had tag team action next as The Empire took on the unsual pairing of Playboy Buddy Rose & Bob Roop. Rose used dirty tactics while Roop wrestled a clean match. They had The Empire in trouble early but then Rose got caught cheating and got his team disqualified. Roop was yelling at him. I would be surprised if we see this pairing again but then again who would have thought we would see them at all. It was then time for the main event. Things started off slow as both guys were feeling each other out and Rogers seemed reluctant to tie up with Nick. Finally things started picking up and after hitting a piledriver Nick slapped on his Sleeper finisher and put Buddy out to win the first fall. After giving Buddy a moment to wake up and catch his breath it was time for the second fall. Nick looked to put Buddy away quick to finish the match and that aggression cost him. Buddy took control, wore Nick down and before long got Nick in the Figure Four and earned a submission in fall two. Both guys got a rest as the match stood at 1-1 and we were set for an exciting third fall. It was a good back and forth then suddenly Nick caught Buddy in the Sleeper and Buddy tried hard to get out but to no avail. Your winner 2 falls to 1 and new World Champion Nick Bockwinkel. How with the Horsemen deal with losing all their gold? To think it was just a month ago at Supercard they had all of it.
World Champion: Nick Bockwinkel Tag Team Champions: Hart Foundation
ECW
2/15 Show starts with a match between Necro Butcher and D'lo Brown. This was good match with both guys having runs where they dominated the other. In the end it was Butcher who got the win. After the match that crazy guy Al Snow ran down and hit D'lo Brown with his mannequin head, knocking him out. What IS his issue? Stevie Richards took on Chris Candido in the next match. Tammy was back by her man's side after missing his last match on TV. This was a nasty match with both guys coming up with big moves but unable to get the pin. It was a long match that saw both of them gasping for air near the end when Chris was finally able to get the pin on Stevie. Both guys were exhausted and the crowd gave them a standing ovation for their effort.
Next we had Young Bucks in the ring waiting to take on Demolition. This was going to be a classic match of contrasts, Demolition's strength vs the Bucks speed and athleticism. At least it would have been if the match happened. As Demolition was making their way to the ring Voodoo Kin Mafia ran out from back holding trash cans and jumped Demolition from behind. They beat Ax and Smash down. Then they laid the cans down and Kip powerbombed Ax onto one as BG gave Smash a DDT onto the other. As Demolition laid there VKM started to enter the ring. If they were planning on attacking the Young Bucks we do not know as the Bucks high tailed it out of there. Smart move on their part. BG got a mic and said last week Demolition taught them a lesson. This company is not like other wrestling companies. It is about fighting more than just wrestling. So they decided to show Demolition they learned their lesson by beating them down. There were two more things he had to say. One was they were changing their name to fit this new attitude. From now on they will be known as Voodoo KILL Mafia. Second they challenge Demolition to a hard core match next month at Barely Legal. When Demolition wakes up hopefully they will have an answer. Then it was time for the main event between RVD and Jerry Lynn. It was a pretty good match with RVD showing none of the cockiness he is known for and focusing on his opponent. He hit a leg drop to the back of Lynn as he laid over the barricade and got the win. He then asked for a mic. He said he had a rematch clause from the title match against Taz and he was cashing it in....NEXT WEEK. The crowd popped and started cheering R-V-D.

CHIKARA
The show starts with a match between Jigsaw and Icarus. Jigsaw used his speed to keep ahead of his opponent and gain the victory. Then we get an announcement that next week Japanese star Tiger Mask will be here. Next Ultramantis Black took on Green Ant. It seemed Ultramantis did not have his head in the game as Green Ant dominated and got the win. When the match is over the two mysterious men from last week ran out and tried to get Ultramantis Black but he ran off before they could. Who are they and what do they want with the Neo-Solar Temple? die Jager faced off against Naptown Dragons next in a match up of former ECW tag teams. Naptown put up a good fight but just came up short. This was the Jager's second point. They new that and got on the mic and said they want a match next week so they can pick up their third point and be able to challenge for the titles. If anyone has the balls meet them next week. Main event saw Mike Quackenbush with a chance to get revenge against Crossbones. Crossbones tried to overpower Mike but Mike used his ability to get the better of him and earn the victory. After The Order of the Neo-Solar Temple ran down to the ring. The announcers thought they were going to attack Mike but they did not. They simply surrounded Crossbones, helped him up and slowly left the ring. It seemed they were worried about another attack.

Rumors and News
- The first Trios teams for the CHIKARA Trios Tournament have been revealed. Ant Hill (The Colony and Green Ant) and Order of the Neo-Solar Temple (Ultramantis Black and Incoherence).
- First match for Barely Legal has been announced. Adrian Street will take on Necro Butcher. Necro will be looking to get back for his solo lost in ECW.
ROH
2/24 We start off this week's show with a match between Matt Sydal and Chris Sabin. Matt was trying to follow up his tag team success with some solo success. This would not be the start of that as Sabin picked up the victory. We then see Truth Martini in back trying to get into the locker room to talk to Matt Taven but the Hotties will not let him in. He says Matt has not been returning his calls or texts and tells the Hotties to give him a message "do not blow the best thing to happen to you". Samoa Joe faces off against Tommaso Ciampa in the next match. Joe was in control for a bit at the start but soon Tommaso started to tear into him. He had to hit Project Ciampa 3 straight times but he earned the win. In the next match we had tag team action between reDRagon and W.G.T.T. Kyle was in trouble from the start as the W.G.T.T. was out to show that is more than just a name. reDRagon tried fighting back but to no avail. How long before W.G.T.T. faces the champs Addiction? It was then time for the main event between Austin Aries and Matt Taven. Taven came out with the Hotties but no Truth Martini. It turned out to be a wise decision at least this time. At the start of the match the Hotties distracted Aries and Matt jumped him. Before long Matt hit his finisher and got the win. As the show ended he stood in the ring making the belt gesture as a sign to Jay Lethal what is on his mind.

2/20 Show starts with the backstage reporter trying to get a word from Bobby Heenan about what happened last week between his two men but he was not having it. About all he would say is everything was fine in the Family as they had double gold and they were going to be looking to get more soon. The first match was a rematch from the US tournament as Mil Mascaras was looking to avenge his loss to Mr Saito. This was a hard hitting affair as both men were in control at different times and looked like they were on the verge of a win. Unfortunately time ran out and the match ended in a time limit draw. We doubt this match ended things between these two stars. We had a new comer to NWA:GCW next as Jimmy Snuka made his debut against Boris Zhukov. Boris was in control early but soon Jimmy got the upper hand and hit the Superfly Leap for the victory. The SST faced off against the Killer Bees next and they rolled over the Bees for a fairly easy win. The main event saw two of the best square off as Ted Dibiase battled Giant Baba. Ted was in trouble early on but would not go down easy. He fought back and ended up getting the win. After it was announced he would get a title match against World Champion Randy Savage next week. Those two have been taking the title from each other. Will that trend continue or will Randy put an end to it?

2/23 There is a promo for Four Horsemen at the start. They are talking about how they have slipped from the greatness that is their destiny but not to worry. Soon they will regain the gold that is their birthright. They are the greatest in the world, they are the Four Horsemen. They hold up the Horsemen hand gesture as the promo ends. Opening match is Bobby Shane against Red Bastien. Shane was dominating Red but Bastien showed his testicular fortitude as he fought back and earned the win. There is a promo showing a spaceship flying through space and then the words "American Starship". Not sure what that is about. The Empire took on the Valiant Brothers next. It seemed the brothers were not on the same page to start as they had a disagreement on who should start but finally Johnny gave in and let Jimmy start. Turned out it might have been a good call as they dominated David Taylor and never let Finley tag in on the way to earning the upset victory. We were awarded with a great main event as Harley Race took on Frank Gotch. As you know Frank had been on a losing streak ever since returning to wrestling and coming to AWA. A few times it looked like Race would add to that streak but Frank showed signs of his past greatness and got his first win. It had been 3 1/2 months since he showed up in AWA and looked like he would not be around much longer but perhaps this is a sign his luck is changing.

2/22 The show starts with The Shard and VKM in back. The Shard says the Voodoo Kill Mafia attacking Demolition last week was like a hurricane. Right now is the Eye of the storm and they should enjoy the calm while they can. Because soon they will be hit with the back end of the storm and as everyone knows that is the worse part. Then Kip starts turning the handle of a siren making a whining sound. The Shard said, guess the calm is over and time for the rest of the storm. With that they head off for their opening match. VKM is in the ring when Demolition come out, quickly remove there masks and run in to start brawling with them. Once the ref was able to gain some control the match started and Demolition looked like they were going to make VKM pay for their sneak attack last week. However The Shard gets involved and was able to turn the tide in his teams favor and they got the win. We then get an announcement that the main event will be RVD cashing in his rematch clause. Al Snow took on D'lo Brown next. D'lo was looking to get back at Al for attacking him after his match last week. Al was in trouble early and even tried to tag in the mannequin head again. You could even say it was a sorta tag match as the head got involved as Al used it to hit D'lo a couple times and that seemed to turn the tide as Al got the win. Jon Moxley kept his winning ways as he beat high flyer Rich Swann. Rich put up a good fight but he did not have enough fight to beat a fighter like Jon. The main event was a title match between World Champion Taz and former champ RVD. Speaking of former, former ref Bill Alfonso came down with Taz. As the match began Taz took it to RVD and was dominating him. But RVD fought back and once the fight spilled to outside the ring he started gaining control. He made numerous pin attempts, each one coming close to ending the match. Then a masked man ran into the ring to break one of those pin attempts which gave Taz time to recoup and he was in control again. Before long he hit the Tazmission-Plex and got the win. Who was the mysterious masked man? Was he there to help Taz or just cause problems for RVD? Only time will tell.

CHIKARA
2/19 Tiger Mask faced off against Soldier Ant in the opening match. Tiger showed why he is slowly becoming a huge fan favorite in Japan thanks to his high flying. Every time Soldier Ant started getting some momentum Tiger would win it back. It seemed to frustrate Soldier Ant and he finally snapped when the two were battling outside of the ring. The ref declared Soldier went to far and disqualified him. Next we get a strange message about dark clouds are coming to CHIKARA and everyone has Ultramantis Black to thank for the dark times ahead. Next we got Brodie Lee vs Johnny Gargano in a solid match with both guys pulling out all the stops. In the end Brodie got the win. Claudio Castagnoli took on Shane Storm in the following match. Claudio was on top of his game and beat Storm. The main event was tag team action between die Jager and the team of Sara Del Ray & Daizee Haze. die Jager was going for their third point and thus the right to challenge the champions. Jager dominated Haze but could not pin here. After awhile Sara was able to get in and soon they were dominating her but she also would not go down easy. Eventually though Jager's offense was too much for the ladies and they got the win and earned their third point. How long before they cash them in and try and win the titles?

Rumors and News
-The first non CHIKARA team to be added to their King Of Trios tournament is the team of VKM and Shard from ECW. They are using the team name The Eye.
-Andre the Giant has left NWA and is currently a free agent. There is much speculation on where he will end up.
-The second match for the ECW PPV has been announced. VKM will take on Demolition. Considering their recent history this should be quite the war.
ROH
3/2 The show starts with talk about the main event. It will be a #1 contender match between Roderick Strong and Matt Taven. The talk was about how Roderick had been on a roll lately and looked primed for a title shot and how it has all but been confirmed that Taven was no longer in the House of Truth. The action then kicked off with a match between Michael Elgin and Adam Page. The youngster had few answers for Michael's offense and before long Michael had the victory. Next was a rematch between Silas Young and Donovan Dijak. This one turned out much the same as the first as Donovan used his size advantage to get the better of Silas. Tag team action came next in the form of War Machine vs Jimmy Jacobs and Steve Corino. War Machine used their massive strength advantage to make short work of the members of S.C.U.M. After the win Kevin Steen joined his mates in attacking War Machine. While they had the number advantage they could not get better of War Machine as the teams fought to a draw. It was then time for the main event. Strong had the early advantage and seemed to be on the way to a win when the Hotties distracted him. He was not distracted for long but it was enough for Taven to take control. After being worked over for awhile Roderick tried to gain control again but he just could not do it and eventually Matt finished him off. As Matt was celebrating in the ring the World Champion Jay Lethal and Truth Martini came to the top of the ramp and stared him down. Will Taven get the World title back around his waist or will he just be another notch on Lethal's gun?

2/27 Things start in the locker room with Heenan dealing with a heated discussion between Bruiser Brody and Cowboy Bob Orton. Before long Heenan notices the camera and he forces the camera man out of their locker. Looks like there is still bad feelings from the final for the US title a couple weeks ago. We then go to the ring for the opening match. Jimmy Snuka takes on Masked Superstar. Superstar started in control but before long Jimmy had it and kept on the offense until he had picked up the victory. The next match saw The Sheik take on Les Thatcher in a match up of the viciousness of The Sheik and the technical skill of Les Thatcher. The match went back and forth with neither being able to sustain any offense. Eventually time ran out and the match ended up in a draw. Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Hillbilly Jim took on The Vachons next. The Vachons came out with out their manager Bobby Heenan and it seemed that hurt them. They ended up dominated and lost pretty quickly. Then it was the main event. Randy Savage defended the World title against the former champion Ted Dibiase. Randy was in control early but after hitting his finisher and not getting the pin he started getting upset. He tossed Ted out of the ring and when he went out Ted took control. He held it for a short while but then Randy regained it. This time he tossed Ted out of the ring and hit the ax handle, tossed Ted back in the ring and hit the Flying Elbow a second time and got the pin. Randy did not get to celebrate however as right after the bell King Kong Bundy, Cowboy Bob Orton and Bruiser Brody hit the ring and started to attack Randy. Well it looks like Orton and Brody worked out their issues and are back on the same page. For his part after recovering Ted tried to get them to stop beating down the champion. He was rewarded by having the three men turn their attention to him. When it was all over the three Heenan Family members stood tall over the bodies of Randy Savage and Ted Dibiase.

Killer Kowalski took on Bob Roop in the opening match. Kowalski dominated his smaller opponent and got the W. The next match was between Bryan Danielson and Missing Link. Link tried using his strength and wild antics to get the win, even using a chair shot outside of the ring, but it was to no avail. Bryan ended up getting the win. The Hart Foundation defended their Tag Titles in the main event against former champions and members of the Four Horsemen, the Hamilton Wrecking Crew. The Crew were on top of their game. Both teams fought hard as expected. What was not expected is what happened when Bret Hart tried to break up a pin attempt of his brother. He got his body and one leg in the ring when he felt something tugging his other leg. He looked back to see his own manager Jimmy Hart holding on for dear life. That was enough to prevent the save and caused the Hart Foundation their titles. Bret jumped down off the apron to confront Jimmy. As he was yelling at his manager John Tolos had come up behind him and turned him around. Bret slugged John, knocking him down. As Bret looked down at him Jimmy Hart knocked him on the back of the head with the megaphone. John then got up and started kicking Bret. The Horsemen have gold again thanks to the betrayal of Jimmy Hart.

The show begins with Stevie Richards and his valet, who had been indentified as Tina Moretti, walking to the ring for the opening match. Stevie stopped and looked down a side hallway and the can panned to show Tommy Dreamer. Stevie and Tina walked over to him and Stevie said "Hey Tommy, you remember Tina don't you?". Tommy's smile quickly faded and he nodded toward them. They started to turn away when Stevie stopped and looked back at Tommy. "Oh by the way, our old friend has decided to join us here in ECW. He will be here next week". As Stevie walked off Tommy had a look of concern on his face.
Stevie had a rematch with Chris Candido to start things. Stevie tried desperately to get the win over Chris but it was to no avail as he fell short. Necro Butcher faced off against Jerry Lynn and used his brutality to pick up the victory. We had a new tag team in the next match as the Young Bucks took on the Mongols. The Mongols sure had a unique look. That look and their large size was not enough as the Bucks defeated them in their debut. The main event was a rematch from a few weeks back. In that match One Man Gang and Sabu fought to a rare double DQ. This match was as brutal as that one if not more so. It was a long back and forth tough match that saw both men have their chances at gaining the win. In the end after missing on hitting the 747 twice One Man Gang found that sometimes third time IS the charm as he hit it and finished off Sabu. A solid match full of exciting moments.

CHIKARA
Show starts with a rematch from last week as Tiger Mask takes on Soldier Ant. Tiger was looking to get some revenge for what happened last week. That is exactly what he did as he had a controlling win over Soldier Ant. After getting the win he left the ring. As Soldier was recovering the 2 mysterious masked men from a couple weeks back came into the ring and proceeded to attack Soldier Ant. They left him laid out. Claudio Castagnoli battled Chuck Taylor in the next match. Chuck was in control early but when he tossed Claudio out of the ring things changdd. Claudio was able to take control and before long got the win/ After the match the 2 mysterious men came down to ring side. Claudio got ready for them to attack but security ran down and ended up chasing the mystery men off. Who are they and what are they up too?
The Throwbacks took on the team of Sara Del Ray & Daizee Haze next. It was a good back and forth match but in the end The Throwbacks earned a rare victory. After the match it seemed everyone was looking around to see if the mystery men would show up again but it seems security chased them out of the building. The main event was between Mike Quackenbush and Ultramantis Black. Both men tore into each other but in the end it was Black that picked up the win. Right after the ref raised his hand the 2 mystery men returned and started beating Black down. Mike recovered from his loss and he started to fight the men off. They roll out of the ring and grab chairs. They look to try and get back in but Ultramantis recovered and he and Mike were working on keeping the men from getting back in the ring. Suddenly Claudio Castagnoli ran down and got in the ring. All three men looked to prepare for an attack from the mystery men. Then Claudio hit Mike from behind with a forearm and laid him out. Why did he do that? As we wondered if he was working with these men we quickly got an answer to that. The 2 men got in the ring and they along with Claudio surrounded Black. Before they could attack the rest of the Neo-Solar Temple ran down to protect their leader. Both sides faced off against each other across the ring. They stared at each other waiting to see who would make the first move. Then die Jager ran down to join the Neo-Solar members. With the numbers advantage it looked like Claudio and the mystery men were in trouble. Then another shocker as die Jager who had been standing behind the Neo-Solar Temple started to attack them. They were quickly joined by the other three. It seemed it was impossible to know who to trust. As they were laying out the Temple the crowd cheered as Del Ray & Haze ran down with chairs. As they entered the ring Claudio, die Jager and the mystery men started to back off. Ultramantis Black and Crossbones started to recover and got up to their knees when suddenly the ladies hit them with the chairs and laid them out. Claudio and the rest started to laugh as it seemed the ladies had not come to make the save but to join in the beat down. As the show ended the 7 men and women stood tall in the ring over the laid out bodies of the Neo-Solar Temple as the crowd rained down boos on them.
