Colin Delaney v. Claudio Castagnoli
The early story in this one was Delaney dominating his larger opponent both in and out of the ring. That does not mean that Castagnoli did not have his moments such as when he countered a deathjump smash with an uppercut in a crazy looking spot the nearly killed Delaney and lead to the first near fall of the bout. Delaney recovered and went on a run leading to a LUNGBLOWER for his own near fall. Castagnoli managed to hang on and waited for the one opening. He found it and crushed Delaney with a RICOLA BOMB but Delany kicked out of the cover much to the delight of ringside. However, the following bicycle kick ended it. Time: 3:20. Delaney 6, Castagnoli 3 Rating 2.5
Eric Ryan v. Robert Anthony
It looked early on that this may be a back and forth contest and then Ryan exploded on offensive including back to back Coast to Coast. Anthony barely kicked out of several pin attempts before the action went to the floor. Anthony countered the attack of Ryan and a DDT from the apron sent both men crashing through the ringside table. The referee calls for the bell and disqualifies Anthony. The fans love the match ending spot. Time: 1:19 Ryan 4, Anthony 7 Rating 1.5
Incoherence (Frightmare & Delirious) v. AC DC (Arik Cannon & Darin Corbin)
Frightmare and Delirious were able to keep Corbin in the ring for a good stretch but could not put him away even after a PRAYING MANTIS BOMB from Delirious. Cannon was a force when he was able to get into the match hitting both his opponents with Glimmering Warlocks during the contest. The end came off of that move which stunned Delirious and set up TOTAL ANARCHY for the win. Delirious is not pleased after the match and appears to be frustrated with Frightmare. Time: 3:31. Delirious 5, Frightmare 4, Cannon 4, Corbin 5 Rating 3.0
Louis Lyndon v. Matt Cross
These two really know how to move in the ring and as expected the pace is nuts. Cross counters a deathjump with a power slam for a big near fall and really dominates the balance of the match including a pair of shooting star presses. A flagpole splash leads to the three count for Cross. Time: 0:53. Lyndon 6, Cross 3 Rating 1.5
El Generico v. โDirtyโ Andy Dalton
Despite all the chanting and pleading from ringside, Generico takes an epic beating at the outset of this one as Dalton punishes his opponent in and out of the ring. A chair shot draws huge heat but Dalton cannot believe it when a PILEDRIVER does not get the job done. Slowly, Generico makes his comeback and ringside loses their mind when he finally goes on an offensive run. He scores with back to back tombstone piledrivers for his own near fall. From that point, the fans witness a back and forth war with both men hitting all of their signature spots aside from their finishers. They brawl on the floor and in the ring. Eventually, Dalton resorts to using the chair for the second time and this time it costs him the match via disqualification. Dalton leaves Generico laying in a heap in the middle of the ring with a piledriver. Time: 7:05 Generico 4, Dalton 5, Rating 4.5
Rockness Monsters (Johnny Yuma & Johnny Goodtime) v. Monster Mofia (โ#allegoโ Ethan Page &โWalking Weaponโ Josh Alexander)
Yuma gets the start against Alexander and looks impressive with his speed. They go to the floor and Yuma makes the mistake of going to ringside eating a rolling elbow for his trouble. Back in the ring, Yuma is still stunned allowing Page to plant him with a SPINNING DWAYNE for quick win Time: 0:44 Gootime 3, Yuma 4, Alexander 2, Page 3 Rating dud
Lance Hoyt v. Arik Royal
The fans expected some hard hitting action and that is exactly what they received. The exchange of chop and blows was awesome early on. Royal pressed the advantage early on including using a chair during a brawl on the floor. The referee let it go and the fight continued. Hoyt made an impressive comeback with his slight power advantage. He also made use of a chair before hitting a Texas Tower Bomb that rocked the fans. Hoyt was in charge from that point and put Royal away with DARK DAYS. Time: 2:17 Hoyt 3, Royal 5, Rating 2.5
Alpha Male Title Qualifier Four Way Match โ โLightningโ Mike Quackenbush v. Brodie Lee v. Bryan Danielson v. Rickey Shane Page
As is the case with these type of bouts there is plenty of chaos to try and follow. Lee is a monster early on using his size to dominate Quackenbush and Danielson. The fans get into the unorthodox offense of Page as well but neither man to get the three count. Despite being the smallest competitor in the match, Danielson goes on a tear against Lee with a series of kicks and even a German suplex that the fans eat up. Quackenbush has his moments tying Page up in knots and nearly ending it with a Quackendriver. The action continued to go back and forth until Lee gets the upper hand on Quackenbush planting him with a package piledriver and then crushing him with the BIG BOOT for the three count while Page and Danielson brawl on the floor. Lee advances to join Claudio Castagnoli in the finals. Time: 9:30. Danielson 3, Lee 4, Page 5, Quackenbush 6 Rating (2.0)
