Episode 1.07 LHC Quarterfinal A: Danny Hodge cruised to win over Les Thatcher finishing with a couple of pinpoint Standing Dropkicks to advance to the semis.
LHC Quarterfinal B: Bobby Shane COR over Tiger Mask. The shrewd Shane avoided a flying leap from the masked man, who landed awkwardly on his back. Tiger Mask could not answer the ten-count.
"Jersey" JJ, Dillon upset Lazer. The craft Dillon scored an upset in Lazer's debut match as the match spilled onto the floor. Dillon repeatedly used a foreign object and slammed Lazer into the ringpost. Dillon used an ELBOW DROP on a bloody Lazer to gain the controversial win, much to the disgust of his "home" crowd.
Tracy Smothers def. Randy Rose. Smothers kept the match in the ring and used a devastating slingshot dropkick after 2 other regular dropkicks could not keep Rose to the mat. Exciting win for the Southern boy.
Another SuperBrawl match is signed in an interview beamed from the control center: Masked Superstar has added a dimension to his vendetta agains the Heenan Family. He is switching the mask into "machine mode" and is calling himself Super Machine. He has recruited The Macho Machine to tag against John Studd and Rick Rude in SuperBrawl. Big Machine will also stand tall in the corner of the other Machines. This Macho Machine is wrestling's worst kept secret as Randy Savage wants Rude in the worst way as he has made several overtures to Savage's manager the Huntress (April Hunter). Ted Dibiase and Virgil offered a SuperBrawl title shot to the winner of an upcoming tag-team match between Team USA (Atlas and Patriot) versus Boris Zhukov and Bruiser Brody with Nikita Brezhnikov.

Episode 1.08 LHC Quarterfinal C: Johnny Kobra W, DQ over Jushin Liger! Kobra made an announcement that the Valley Girl is going to start hanging out with winners and will escort him to the ring from this point forward. The Valley Girl was the difference as Liger intercepted a purse thrown in by her, but was caught choking Kobra with it (in retaliation for using this outside the ring). Kobra moves on to the semis!
LHC Quarterfinal D: Jerry Lynn def. Johnny Saint. US versus UK here with Lynn using aerial moves to keep Saint off-balance. A high-cross body from the ropes, led to a CRADLE PILEDRIVER and a series of three dropkicks for the win.
SuperBrawl Title Shot on the line: North American Champion Buddy Rogers def. Dutch Savage. Rogers outclassed Savage from the onset and paved the road to SuperBrawl with a set of dropkicks for the win.
Tag-Team Challenge: Team USA (Atlas and Patriot) def. Bruiser Brody and Boris Zhukov (with Comrade Nikita). Brody and Atlas got into a shoving match before the ring announcer completed introductions but Atlas used his power to keep up with Brody while dominating Boris. Comrade Nikita interfered at the wrong moment for his team, distracting Brody with Atlas scooping Brody in a PRESS SLAM AND SPLASH for a pin. The crowd exploded and Brody was irate! Bruiser took his anger out on Nikita and chased both Russians to the back!
SuperBrawl is shaping up nicely and here is what is on tap: Title versus Title: Nick Bockwinkel vs. Buddy Rogers!
TWF Tag-Team Champions Megabucks (Andre and Dibiase) vs. Team USA (Atlas and Patriot)
Lumberjack Match, The Machines (Super and Macho Machine with cornerman Big Machine) vs. Rick Rude and John Studd (with Bobby Heena)
Plus the Light Heavyweight Championship Finals!

Episode 1.09 LHC Semifinal A: Danny Hodge def. Bobby Shane (with Mike Lano) . Lano was not much help to Shane in this one as he cowered away when the match spilled to the floor. Hodge sprung Shane over the top rope back into the ring and used a standing dropkick to move to the finals!
Rex Spectrum segment with Johnny Kobra and Valley Girl. Kobra traded barbs with the futuristic Rex and claimed the next interview he will have the two best possessions in the world: The Valley Girl and the Light Heavyweight Title Belt!
LHC Semifinal B: Jerry Lynn def. Johnny Kobra (with Valley Girl). Valley Girl kept Kobra out of trouble after Lynn rallied from Kobra's martial arts. However, Lynn turned Kobra's surprising run to the title after Kobra missed a top rope jump. Lynn moves to the finals, while Valley Girl nursed Johnny to health!
StarBoy def. Dark Invader. Invader claimed to sway StarBoy over to the Shadow Side during a recent non-televised tag-team match but StarBoy used a FLYING CROSS CHOP to gain the upset. Invader motioned to StarBoy to his corner after the match but the cosmic traveller was too busy celebrating to spend time with the Dark One.
Cobalt Commander def. Rad Racer with the COBALT CLUTCH. Not much of rematch but a clip of the SuperBrawl matches finished the broadcast. Episode 1.10 will feature the complete card along with segments for each of the main events and how the competitors got there! Fans are looking forward to that!

This is a very good promotion. I love the incorporation of the 80's Mania cards. Your Superbrawl card is shaping up very nicely. Team USA is one of my favorite aspects of your promotion. I think Atlas and Patriot have a real shot against the Mega Bucks but they are ALWAYS gonna be tough. Hope Bockwinkle is able to retain. I look forward to see how things play out for you.

Pro Wrestling America presents a Saturday Night Special on network television before we head into SuperBrawl.
Special Broadcast from Providence, RI as the last stop before SuperBrawl as some matches are a preview of some of the big matches.
Special Challenge Matches as the Megabucks face Team USA in singles competition: Tag-Team Co-Holder Ted Dibiase (with Virgil and Andre The Giant) vs. The Patriot (with Tony Atlas) ended in a Double DQ as both partners got involved in pull-apart brawl after some back and forth action spilled outside the ring. Because of this wild finish, Dibiase and Patriot were banned from the arena for the next match...
Tag-Team Co-Holder Andre The Giant W, DQ over Tony Atlas. Atlas was keeping up with Andre but used a title belt to slug Andre in the back after Virgil tossed the object into the ring. Ref called for a DQ to avoid the action getting out of hand like the opener.
Six-Man Tag-Team: Fantastics and Magnum TA vs. New Zealanders and Claudio Castignoli (with Johnny Fairplay). Fairplay's squad worked over the Fanastics with some sneaky double-teaming but the Fantastics and Magnum gutted their way back into the match. Claudio overpowered a weakened Bobby Fulton for the win after some wild interference from Butch!
Rick Rude with (Bobby Heenan) over Super Machine with (Macho Machine). This grudge match got rough in a hurry with some of PWA's biggest characters at ringside. Rude took advantage of all the confusion and used a Piledriver after slamming Super Machine outside the ring. The big tag-team lumberjack grudge match should keep things more in order during SuperBrawl.
Mania Grudge match: Star Boy def. Piranha. These two brought their rivalry to PWA as Star Boy used a falling headbutt to get the win. Fast match and things should get interesting with the big eight-man tag-team match scheduled for SuperBrawl.
Roddy Piper W, DQ over Larry Zbyszko. Larry continues his crusade to establish himself as a Living Legend, spouting that moniker and other hype on the house mike. Piper reminded him "that while Larry calls himself the Living Legend, I am the Legend Destroyer!" Piper pummelled his foe from the onset and Zbyszko used a chair on Piper's knee when he got into trouble. NEWS FLASH: These two motor mouths are now signed for an "in-ring" debate as part of SuperBrawl!
The broadcast concluded with this match as SuperBrawl looms on the horizon. The announcers reminded the fans to tune into the special preview show on Pro Wrestling America television network! Check your local listings for broadcast time.

ther Matches for the local audience in Providence:
Johnny Cobra with (Valley Girl) def. Jim Powers. Cobra continues to impress as Powers timing was way off. Finish occurred when the youngster missed a deathleap and Cobra moved in fast with an easy roll-up for the win.
Lazer def. Cobalt Commander after a SuperPlex. The commander spent much of the match arguing with any fan who got in his face (which was many). Lazer surprised him with some high-impact moves and positioned him for the big suplex for the pin! Ringside fans were ruthless in their mockery of the Commander.
Big John Studd (with Bobby Heenan) def. Macho Machine. Macho Machine flew around the ring to keep the big man off-balance. The wild and crazy Machine even tried a body slam but Rick Rude rushed to ringside so he could grab a leg toppling Studd on the masked man for the pin. Stunning ending but shows the lengths the Heenan Family will do to win.
Non-Title, The Crusaders (Dewey Robertson and Red Lyons) def. North American Tag-Team Champions Tolos Brothers via DQ. Proving that Pro Wrestling America covers all the Americas, The Crusaders continued their quest for the Canadian based tag-titles tonight. The Crusaders tried for a big win by using their speed and teamwork to baffle the brothers. The strategy worked as The Tolos Brothers clotheslined the referee after an extensive sequence of tags used by the Crusaders. The champions high-tailed it from the ring with their belts as the Crusaders checked on the official. Fortunately, the referee was more stunned than seriously hurt and walked to the back with the Crusaders help.

SUPERBRAWL "Battle of the Belts" at Meadowlands Complex
Barbed Wire Challenge: Kiwi Sheepherders def. The Fantastics. Non-televised opener, which saw the Fantastics bloody Butch Miller by throwing him into the wire. Fantastics finished off Butch with a headfirst whip into the barbed wire, sealing the win.
Claudio Castignoli (with Johnny Fairplay) def. Magnum TA. These two evenly matched wrestlers have produced some exciting close matches. Claudio used his power advantage and used three NEUTRALIZERS to pin Magnum. Claudio and Fairplay continued the punishment after the bell with Fairplay holding down Magnum for some vicious knee drops on the back. The injured Magnum was carted off in a stretcher.
Ally Match: North American Tag-Team Title Holder John Tolos with brother Chris def. Red Lyons with fellow Crusader, Dewey Robertson. Tolos rushed Lyons at the bell and clobbered the redhead before he knew what hit him. A FLYING KNEE DROP brought the older Tolos into the win column.
Light Heavyweight Championship Tournament Finals: Jerry Lynn def. Danny Hodge by COR to win the tournament. Many regarded this as the match of the night as both men's strengths were on display: chain wrestling matwork for Hodge and high-impact aerial moves for Lynn. An exciting exchange led to the finish as the Minnesota native Lynn broke loose from two pinfall attempts: first a sunset flip off the ropes followed by an OKLAHOMA ROLL could not get the job done. Lynn rebounded and hit a couple of cradle piledrivers but could not keep Hodge down for the count. A collision off the ropes sent Hodge outside the ring which led to Lynn hitting sunset flip power bomb. Hodge did not beat the 10 count from the floor and Lynn captured the gold!
Eight-Man Elimination Mania Match: Dark Invader, Cobalt Commander, Johnny Kobra and Piranha def. StarBoy, LaZer, Arizona Chance and Rad Racer. Four eliminates to two as Invader and Commander were the last two survivors. StarBoy exploded with the first two eliminations: SOMERSAULT KICK on Kobra and a CROSS CHOP on Piranha. Cobalt Commander double-teamed StarBoy with Invader's help and pinned him after stepping on his throat.
Lazer busted into the ring but the shrewd Commander avoided a leap and used a COBALT CLUTCH to even the sides at 2 on 2.
Commander and Invader continued their impressive team work and used a Commander Slammer on Rad Racer to leaving Arizona Chance as the last man on his side.
Arizona used several uppercuts and DDT to almost stage a comeback but the Invader hit the CORRUPTER power bomb to win the match. While Invader and Commander celebrated the big screen in the arena switched to a feed from the back. This time a sworn enemy of the Invader, Ace Arcadium challenged the duo to attack someone who has not just wrestled a grueling match. The Commander was going to continue his assault but Ace's distraction was enough for Arizona to grab his bullwhip from ringside to keep the duo at bay!
INTERMISSION In-Ring Debate: Roddy Piper vs. Larry Zbyszko with Bill Apter as in-ring moderator. Special judges for the debate were Gorilla Monsoon, Morton Downey Jr. and Bob Uecker. Things heated back up after intermission as Piper and Zbyszko traded barbs much to the delight of the crowd. While the judges were supposed to remain impartial, Downey also threw some cheap shots Piper's way. Piper tired of Downey interrupting him and slapped him across the chops. An irate Zbyszko got into Piper's face for laying a hand on the judges and Piper said he would not get physical with the judges but cannot promise keeping his hands off Larry! The debate ended with Piper running Zbyszko and Downey from the ring, challenging Zbyszko to a match! Monsoon and Uecker both gave the decision to Piper!
Tag-Team Championship Match with Special Referee Hacksaw Duggan: Champions Megabucks (with Virgil) DDQ with Team USA. Another great back and forth match between these teams with Duggan keeping things on the straight and narrow. A near pinfall resulted in all four men busting out into fisticuffs with neither team listening to Hacksaw! Duggan called for the bell as the teams battled into the corridor back to the locker room. Virgil got into Duggan's face and earned a knuckle sandwich for his efforts! While Team USA did not win the gold, fans were on their feet through the whole match and liked how Duggan took care of Virgil.
Grudge Match: Dutch Savage def. Steve Williams, DQ. Each man controlled the match at certain points with Williams using his power and Dutch using his ring savvy but the bad blood remained from King of Mountain when Savage dumped Dr. Death from behind. Doc unraveled the tape on Dutch's thumb and used it to choke Savage. The referee called for the bell as while the match was rugged, a blatant rules infraction was too much to ignore.
"The Battle of the Belts" Title vs. Title, Champion vs. Champion. North American Champion Buddy Rogers vs. TWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel (with Bobby Heenan). Wrestling News Photographer Mike Lano was at ringside to capture the action for the renowned magazine. Before the match a special challenge was broadcast from the big screen: JJ Dillon introduced the "International Champion" the Jet Set Strutter in a dramatic interview. The Strutter claimed himself the true champion and said he could beat the best SuperBrawl has to offer as the two champions in the ring were old news. Strutter was insulted that he was not invited to such a big event but Pro Wrestling America has not heard the last of him!
Rogers and Bockwinkel were somewhat confused by these antics but each kept their focus for the match on hand. The match itself was solid and each man had chances to nail down the dual titles. Rogers gained the advantage late in the match as the action spilled outside the ring. A wild brawl ensued and Mike Lano captured some classic photos of the action! This skirmish gave Rogers the slight edge he needed and captured Bockwinkel in the FIGURE FOUR. Bobby Heenan distracted the referee long enough to keep the match going but the leglock clearly weakened the champion's knees. Rogers caught a slowed-down Bockwinkel with an Atomic Drop and wrapped up the legs in double-cradle for the win. The Nature Boy captured the TWF title to go along with his North American belt! A stunned crowd was not expecting the longest reigning TWF titleholder to drop the belt! Lano continued to snap pictures of the new champion, which would likely make the latest edition of the Wrestling News.
Lumberjack Tag-Team Match: Macho and Super Machine vs. Rick Rude and John Studd. A typical lumberjack as each team was saved from allies and pestered by enemies. Andre The Giant, Ted Dibiase, Virgil, Bobby Heenan and Claudio Castignoli acted as lumberjacks for Heenan Family members Rude and Studd. The Machines had Big Machine, Team USA along with special machines Hacksaw and Piper Machines as their lumberjacks. Macho Machine and Rick Rude exchanged some high-impact offense which resulted in Macho Machine getting dumped outside the ring. Bobby Heenan claimed injury during the skirmish and motioned from the locker room for a replacement: a strange figure in a fur-covered hooded robe. This mystery man attacked Savage which looked like a choke or some type of clawhold. The only clue was the black shaggy beard popping from his hood and him screaming "oh yeahhhhhhh" while on top of Macho. Rude took advantage and gained a quick three count before the referee could sort out the happenings. An irate Macho Machine hit everybody in his way with a chair while looking for the mystery man: Rude, Dibiase and even a pleading Heenan! What a way to end the evening.
NOTES: SuperBrawl featured the crowning of both the heavyweight and light heavyweight champions. Plus the debut of newcomers Ace Arcadium and "International Champion" Jet Set Strutter! Pro Wrestling America has truly brought together the best talent of the wrestling world....Some matches did not resolve much as the rivalry between the Megabucks and Team USA has not featured a conclusive winner... Dutch Savage and Steve Williams is another rivalry which continues after SuperBrawl. These two rugged competitors may need a No-DQ match so both men can battle without restrictions. The Roddy Piper and Larry Zbyszko debate looks like it has unsurprisingly sprung an in-ring rivalry as well. Fans are clamoring to see these two square off...Another evenly matched bout between Claudio Castignoli and Magnum TA is on hold until Magnum TA recovers from that injury. Who will take the mantle for Magnum until his return? ....Macho Machine would love to have a crack at that mysterious hooded lumberjack. This wildman was dressed like a caveman with a furry robe and a wild beard, the only clue is he screamed "Oh Yeah" when assaulting the Macho Machine....All in all, a great SuperBrawl, see you soon from ringside!!
