So it is "maybe" right now, but leaning more towards yes. I was 6 years old during my only other trip to Philly (other than through the airport), so I would really like to go and see some of the site, not to mention do all of the G-Con activities. Really comes down to time off...I have the days, but need to verify nothing major is going on in the office.

I moved myself to maybe as I'm starting to wonder if the trip is worth the cost this year. I'll be traveling about as much as the con itself will last and that includes all the Friday stuff.

After years of maybe and probably next years, I am finally going to my first con! For once the money is somewhat plentiful and I have vacation time I am using, so I will see you regulars next month!

I found out today that my vacation request has been denied because a coworker put in for a weeks vacation long before I did. And with our extreme lack of employees I am stuck working, and will not be able to attend. To say I am bummed is an understatement, BUT I am going to say right now, that I WILL be at next years Con where ever it is at (MINNESOTA hint hint).

My plan is to get the time off for BOLA which is usually at the end of August so I just have to hope they announce it soon and I get my request in.

With TM changing it to one day, I am totally withdrawing interest in going. I can't convince myself to pay 300-400 bucks to go for 6 hours of con total. Hope things go back to normal and the regulars might be able to attend again.
