Really like how you're building up to the arrival of Colossus... And Splatter is hanging tough as top champion... Great stuff, as always! It's good to see you back here! Thanks as always for the kind words. We're only a few shows away from the start of the sequel to the GWF 2074/Gladiators feud from a while ago, so you've come back at a good time.

GWF Chaos 1/8/96 Sun Stadium, Eridanus, Vero
Backstage: Solaris
The manager makes his return to the GWF to let Proteus know that he has some protection tonight in his main event match against Hitman.
Match 1: Marcel de Sade vs. Serpent UnMan
A surprisingly good opening match eventually won by de Sade.
Commissioner's Office: Occult Overlord
The newly-returned manager requests a shot at the Six-Man Tag Team Titles. Since Carter has no idea who the third man on his team would be, he offers up a non-title shot later tonight.
Match 2: Billy Joe Boxer w/ Lord Nexus vs. Tendron w/ Doomsayer
Lord Nexus distracts Tendron from using THE SMOTHERING, and BJB rolls up the Destroyer for the win.
Ring: Commissioner Carter
This announcement is about changes to the Galaxian Invasion tournament format. It will still showcase a blend of new and veteran wrestlers, but instead of having the entire tournament during a pay-per-view, the first round will happen on GWF Chaos the next two weeks. All 4 of last year's semi-finalists (Vengeance, Asteroid, Lance At-Las & Whiplash as Marcel de Sade) will participate in this year's contest.
Backstage: Vengeance and Doomsayer
As the two pass by each other, Doomsayer lets the Aethran know that he'll be watching out for him tonight. Vengeance nods back.
Match 3: Flying Titans (Pulsar Prime, Dragonmaster & Sectarian) vs. Sign of the Zodiac (Gemini & Mesmer) & Ram (RE-INTRO) w/ Occult Overlord in a non-title match
Everyone is shocked when Ram returns under the influence of the Overlord. The surprising reveal doesn't help the potential challengers to victory however, as Dragonmaster pins Mesmer.
Backstage: Magnus Colby & Krakan
Colby offers condolences to Krakan for the loss of the Tag Team Titles last week, and makes Splatter available to him if he needs someone to help get revenge. Krakan thanks Magnus, and says he knows of someone else that would also be willing to help.
Match 4: Vengeance vs. Lance At-Las
Two of last year's Invasion semifinalists square off under the watchful eyes of the Cosmic Forces, who stand at the top of the ramp protecting from interference. Vengeance uses the peace of mind to completely brutalize Lance. During an out-of-ring brawl, Vengeance uses so many objects on At-Las that the ref has no choice but to disqualify him. As Vengeance brings his reign of misery, he constantly looks at the camera and tells Destructon 3000 this is what awaits the members of W.A.R.
Locker Room: Destructon 3000
The W.A.R. leader bursts into the area of Doomsayer's stable, and gets into the manager's face. 3000 reminds Doomsayer of what was said if he got involved, and then attacks. The Cosmic Forces return to the room in time to pull Destructon off their leader, but not without a lot of thrashing around and knocking over a bunch of equipment. Destructon 3000 is finally removed, and everyone else moves into the hallway, but the camera lingers in the room for a bit. A tight angle reveals that Doomsayer's time machine, long thought dormant, has been turned on in the ruckus....
Backstage: Cassandra
The Women's Champion is sitting bored as Vanity and Pegasus are playing cards and Maxine Babe is applying make-up. Cassandra calls over to Maxine and asks if she can wrestle. The response of "Kind of" is good enough, and Cassandra offers her a title shot.
Match 5: Cassandra vs. Maxine Babe for Women's Championship
Despite Maxine's lack of experience, the match is more brutal than expected. The result is predictable, however, and the Champion successfully defends.
Locker Room: Vigilante
A still-upset (and slightly heartbroken) Vigilante is sitting with his head in his hands when Krakan enters with a proposition for him.
Match 6: Superiority Complex (Prodigy & Skinhead) w/ Morpheus vs. Vanity Fair (Vanity & Pegasus) w/ Reynard B. Guile
Fantastic match that ends when Pegasus falls victim to the PERFECT TAG FINISHER.
Interview: Janus
He is still horrified that he dropped the Cosmos Championship to Defender of the Realm, but all title talk will be put on hold because Proteus must be dealt with, permanently.
Match 7: Proteus w/ Solaris vs. Hitman
Hitman has the upper hand most of the match. When it looks like Proteus is going to go down for good, Solaris signals to the back where a muscular, red-headed god-like being comes out to break up a pin attempt (INTRO: Heracles). Heracles stays by the ring, but it does Proteus no good as he gets pinned after HITMAN'S CARD. As Proteus is getting up, Janus comes out to the top of the ramp and challenges the Greek God to a Titan Death Match at Invasion. Proteus immediately accepts.

GWF Chaos 1/15/96 Actor's Playhouse, Oscar, Achener
Match 1: Invasion First Round: Vengeance w/ Killing Machine vs. Deathknight II
The Galaxian Invasion Tournament starts with the biggest first-round mismatch. When the referee is distracted, KM piledrives DKII onto the floor, and the result is a count-out.
Ring: Splatter & Magnus Colby
Colby wants Splatter to dispose of Christian, like he has disposed of so many GWF stars already. Colby pulls out a list, and starts rattling off the names of everyone Splatter has injured or taken out. When King Lear's name is read off, music fills the stadium, and out walks Exo-King (RE-INTRO). Exo-King says he's still here, and challenges Splatter to a tag-team main event.
Match 2: Invasion First Round: Beast Rider vs. Ram w/ Occult Overlord
The fans still haven't gotten over Ram's new identity, but their boos spur the Ani-Man on as he easily downs Terak.
Backstage: Maxine Babe
Still angry over the beating she got from Cassandra last week, Maxine asks Vanity if he will train her to wrestle better. Vanity cannot control his laughter, and Maxine shuts him up with a hard slap.
Match 3: Star Warrior & Thantos vs. Cosmic Forces (Matter & Anti-Matter) w/ Doomsayer
A good match is disturbed by W.A.R.--Holocaust jumps out of the crowd and attacks Matter when Thantos throws him out of the ring. When Holocaust delivers a piledriver, the referee calls for the disqualification, and the invader jumps back into the crowd.
Backstage: Doomsayer
As he gets the Cosmic Forces out of the ring area, he is furious and vows revenge on W.A.R. for their recent attacks.
Match 4: Invasion First Round: Asteroid vs. Marcel de Sade
Last year's Invasion winner Asteroid moves on with an easy victory over de Sade.
Ring: Commissioner Carter
He comes out to announce the four Invasion first round matches that will take place next week--Tendron vs. Colossus, Killing Machine vs. Serpent UnMan, Exo-King vs. Darkos, and Heracles vs. Thunder. He also announces the "between-rounds" matches at Invasion will be Splatter vs. Christian for the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship, Proteus vs. Janus in a Titan Death Match, and a just-signed 8-man Battlezone Match between Doomsayer's stable and W.A.R.
Match 5: Invasion First Round: Lance At-Las vs. Grunge
A really good contest between two well-matched wrestlers. The veteran At-Las pulls out the win, but Grunge shows a decent future could be upcoming.
Wrestler Check-In:
-Exo-King asks Christian to be his partner in tonight's main event -Colossus is studying tape on Tendron -Darkos is getting ready for his Cosmos Championship challenge, coming up next
Match 6: Defender of the Realm vs. Darkos for Cosmos Championship
During an out-of-ring brawl, Darkos blinds DotR with some sort of powder. Expecting an assault while he is blinded, DotR swings wildly, hoping to connect before he is forced to defend himself. Unfortunately, DotR connects with the ref, who calls for the DQ when he gets up.
Interview: Krakan
He issues a challenge to the Flying Titans--defend one title next week against a team Krakan puts together. If Krakan wins the title next week, the Titans have to put up their other title the following week.
Match 7: Christian & Exo-King vs. Splatter & Hitman w/ Magnus Colby
A back-and-forth match where both good guys get their chance in the ring against Splatter. Eventually, a 4-way brawl kicks off, and Exo-King tumbles out of the ring with Hitman. Splatter gives Christian THE SHREDDER and gets the pin. The Champion then kicks Christian out of the ring, and stands on the turnbuckle, holding the Championship belt high over his head...

GWF Chaos 1/22/96 Necrodome, Underneath, Preplanus
Match 1: Invasion First Round: Tendron w/ Doomsayer vs. Colossus
After the fanfare Colossus received before his first match, it was a letdown to see him win by DQ over Tendron. The rematch showcased his abilities more, and the Destroyer goes down for the three-count to the newcomer.
Backstage: Lord Nexus & Billy Joe Boxer
Nexus is taking a more active role in making sure his friends succeed, and he starts by re-pairing Billy Joe Boxer and Trainer Jim. Nexus feels this will help BJB go out on top when he retires next year.
Match 2: Invasion First Round: Killing Machine w/ Vengeance vs. Serpent UnMan
The UnMan is having a remarkable match, but gives in to his animal side, and ends up being DQ'ed for refusing to let go of STRANGULATION. As the ref calls for the bell, Second Order runs to the ring in an attempt to wipe out the Gladiators. Holocaust takes on Vengeance, and Raven injures KM after giving him a DDT onto a chair.
Locker Room: Lord Nexus & Flying Titans
Nexus checks in with the Six-Man Tag Team Champs, making sure they are prepared for whatever Krakan has in store for them later.
Match 3: Invasion First Round: Exo-King w/ the Collector vs. Darkos
Everyone is confused when Exo-King comes to the ring with the Collector as his manager. Having new leadership seems to work for the veteran, as he wins over Darkos swiftly.
Backstage: Vengeance & Doomsayer
Still angered, the Aethran asks Doomsayer to do whatever is necessary to end W.A.R. on Sunday in their Battlezone Match. Doomsayer says he has a couple of surprises in store.
Match 4: Flying Titans (Pulsar Prime, Dragonmaster & Sectarian) vs. Vigilante, Soldier of Fortune & Grunge w/ Krakan for Six-Man Tag Team Championship
The match is clean and exciting, and ends when Grunge pins Pulsar Prime after KILLER AIR GUITAR. Krakan's team celebrates in the ring, but the Flying Titans have had an issue with the match since the opposing team came to the ring....
Commissioner's Office: Lord Nexus
The camera cuts in to Nexus already berating Carter--"How could you let this happen!" Nexus is upset because Soldier of Fortune, by virtue of being on the third-place team at War Games, shouldn't be allowed any title shots until September of next year. Carter agrees, but needs a moment to think. The first thing he comes up with is that Krakan's team will not fight for the Tag Team Titles next week, Sign of the Zodiac will get that shot. Secondly, he has no other recourse but to call the earlier match a non-title one, and therefore the decision stands, but there was no title change.
Match 5: Invasion First Round: Heracles vs. Thunder
In the last of the first-round matches, Heracles blows through Thunder to advance, but the real action happens afterwards. Janus comes out intent on teaching the newbie to stay out of his affairs. He smashes Heracles repeatedly into the post, and the new god is taken out on a stretcher. Janus grabs the mic and lets Proteus know this is the fate that waits for him on Sunday.
Interview: Christian
In his rematch with Splatter at Invasion, he needs to make the most of his opportunity and stop the carnage that the Champion brings.
Backstage: Chopper Mattock
Lord Nexus finds Earthquake hiding in a corner, about 3/4 of the way reverted back into the Chopper Mattock persona. Nexus tries to help his former partner, but Mattock says Billy Joe Boxer made him this way, and now he must pay. Mattock rises to his feet quickly, pushes Nexus out of the way, and runs off.
Match 6: Billy Joe Boxer w/ Trainer Jim vs. Bishop Hell w/ Count Necros
Having an old friend around helps BJB, as he punches out Hell and gets the pin. Chopper Mattock races out of the back and gives several Lumberjack Cracks in a row to Boxer, leaving him a heap in the ring.
Commissioner's Office: Krakan
The manager is upset about the earlier rulings--yes, he mistakenly broke a rule, but there must be a different outcome that can be reached. Carter agrees, and now Krakan is suspended for 12 weeks, and is levied a huge fine.
Match 7: Meteor vs. Death Masque in a Titan Death Match
These two have squared off a number of times recently, all ending in disqualification. Now that this match can't end that way, Meteor is able to block a MELTDOWN with a chair and get the win.

Galaxian Invasion 1/28/96 Realm of Disaster, Dimension X
Match 1: Invasion Tournament Quarterfinal: Asteroid vs. Ram w/ Occult Overlord
Ram dominates the match and eliminates last year's Invasion winner.
Match 2: Invasion Tournament Quarterfinal: Colossus vs. Killing Machine w/ Vengeance
The cyborg continues to live up to the hype as he fends off interference from Vengeance to take the victory over his opponent.
Match 3: Invasion Tournament Quarterfinal: Heracles w/ Solaris vs. Lance At-Las
Heracles is still hampered by injuries inflicted by Janus on Monday night, and cannot put forth a full effort. At-Las tries not to add further damage while advancing himself to the next round.
Match 4: Invasion Tournament Quarterfinal: Vengeance w/ Killing Machine vs. Exo-King w/ the Collector
Exo-King gets caught going overboard in an out-of-ring brawl, and oddly enough, Vengeance advances after a DQ.
Match 5: Cosmic Forces (Matter & Anti-Matter), Tendron & ? vs. W.A.R. (Raven, Holocaust, Mace & Destructon 3000) in an 8-Man Battlezone Match
-Raven starts out strong for W.A.R., taking down both Matter & Anti-Matter
-Tendron manages to pin a worn-down Raven
-Holocaust wastes little time in getting a 3-count on Tendron
-Complete shock and confusion comes over everyone in the arena when Doomsayer comes out no longer confined to his hover-chair, but in a body walking to the ring! (RE-INTRO: Doomsayer). Unfortunately for him, he's not used to being upright, and the more-talented Holocaust finishes him off to secure the somewhat easy win for W.A.R.
-Things aren't over as Vengeance comes out, grabs a chair, and smashes Holocaust's hand with it. The Aethran takes off before Mace & Destructon 3000 can catch him, but the damage is done as medical staff needs to check out Holocaust.
Match 6: Invasion Tournament Semi-Final: Ram w/ Occult Overlord vs. Colossus
Ram doesn't have an easy time with Colossus, and ends up needing some assistance. Overlord distracts the ref, but not for long enough, as the official catches Ram hitting Colossus with the ring bell. A good run gets halted by DQ, and Colossus heads to the Invasion Final.
Match 7: Invasion Tournament Semi-Final: Lance At-Las vs. Vengeance w/ Killing Machine
At-Las endures a ton of punishment, but constantly comes back on offense to keep the Gladiator at bay. Time moves quickly in this exciting match, passing the half-hour and 45 minute marks. With no time limit in play, the wrestlers continue on past the point of exhaustion. A little after the one-hour mark, trainers come out to evaluate both participants. Commissioner Carter comes to the ring, and is told that it is not a good idea for either man to continue. Carter takes a moment to make a decision and then grabs the mic. To the disapproval of the crowd, Carter says he has no choice but to call the match a draw, and name Colossus the Invasion Tournament winner.
Match 8: Proteus vs. Janus in a Titan Death Match
After weeks of attacks, the two finally meet in the ring, and things do not go Proteus' way. Janus brutalizes the Greek God with multiple chair and table shots before getting him to submit with the GORDIAN KNOT. After the match, Janus continues to punish by executing several knee drops to Proteus' neck, injuring him.
Ring: Commissioner Carter
Since the Invasion Final isn't going to take place, Carter has found a replacement match. He lets the referee and ring announcer know who and...
Match 9: Billy Joe Boxer w/ Trainer Jim vs. Chopper Mattock
Earthquake has fully reverted back into his Chopper Mattock identity, and is anxious to face off against the man he perceives made him this way. Boxer is not ready for Mattock's insanity, and Chopper pulverizes his enemy. Mattock eventually gets a three-count, and he takes a couple of shots at Trainer Jim as he leaves the ring.
Match 10: Splatter w/ Magnus Colby vs. Christian for Galaxian Heavyweight Championship
The rematch for the Championship begins, but the broadcast is made aware of something happening in the last row of the stadium. A ruckus is being made by someone who is very odd looking due to his being completely white. The man then makes his way from the top of the the arena down to the bottom of the upper deck, disappearing into the concourse, and then re-emerging in the lower deck. He continues down, onto the floor level, and then hops the ring barrier when he approaches it. At this point, both men in the ring have become aware of this strange man, and both move in to intercept as he starts to enter the ring. The intruder looks at both wrestlers before attacking alternating punches on them. Once they are both stunned, he knocks Splatter out after delivering a DDT from the top rope. Moving on to Christian, he picks him up, climbs to the top rope again, lifts the former Champion high over his head, and sends him crashing through the announce table. The stunned crowd is silent as the man looks into the camera and says "I am Infinity, and the end of the GWF begins now!" DEBUT: Infinity

An impressive display by Colossus in the Invasion tourney... Too bad the audience didn't get to see a proper final...
Still can't believe Splatter is holding that top prize... As if Christian wasn't a big enough challenge - It looks like a new player has entered the game... And Infinity does not appear to be messing around... Awesome work, as always!

Thanks Pariah and barflymike4ever as always for checking in! A pretty lackluster event is the start of the next big storyline...I wish I could say more about Infinity, and what's coming in regards to Splatter. Good news is, I'm really excited to type this stuff up, so hopefully work/life timing stays stable and I don't disappear for a while..lol.
