This waqs posted on the Filsinger games twitter, a pic that Pete Beck and I believe is actually from 2000. Old time Gcon attendees, how many of these folks can you name?

Some I know, others I don't, but you can't miss Mike Fortune no matter what.

I am front row, right hand corner...(wearing the red Jamestown Jammers "Bat" hat.) My sons (going left in the picture from me) Daniel (wearing the A's hat) and Dillon (wearing his backwards). Pretty sure this was the second year the boys and I drove up to Jamestown for GalactiCon from Mississippi.
I sent the tweet to my boys and we had a good time talking about all the stuff they did there and on the road...Good times thanks to Filsigner Games! #FG30

That is funny Jim. This will make it even worse...my boy are now 23 and 21; they are both done with college! In the picture they were 7 and 5.

Nearly made G-Con in 2000, but unfortunate circumstances prevented that.

In 1999 I started creating characters for the COTG then put out my first set in 2000 and went to G-Con for the first time in 2001. I have some photos of that event too I should post. G-Con 2001 was my favorite one. It had a decent amount of players you had special guest Chuck Carter for that one. I got to met Tom for the first time and spoke with him on game card changes way back then even. I met so many friendly people it really did feel like a family get together especially at that old mansion. You know they always say your first time is usually the best and for me that was the case 2001 had a really good time. I later attended a few in the row I went to G-con 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2007 I think was my last one. That 9 hour plus drive started to no longer become worth the trip as less players that I knew were attending and once it moved from the Sheldon house the magic of G-Con changed for me, but it was still pretty cool to hang out with Tom even for a few hours. Now that it is going to be in Philly it figures so close for me I can hop on a train and be into Philly in about an hour.

I'm in there! Pretty much in the center of the back row, just to the left of Mike Fortune. Wow, that was a long time ago! I think I was 17-years-old at the time. I miss the Sheldon House days as well, but as long as the Con is in reasonable driving distance. I will try my best to get there.
