I had a blast this weekend! I continued my usual losing ways at GalactiCon, but it's all good. My wife had a great time as well, especially since she got to eliminate me from two separate tournaments. Huge kudos go out to TTX for keeping things running! He did a great job. I can't wait to see everyone again!

I made it to the Finals of the GWF Tourny and was eliminated by Wiggy. I was a first round loser most of the weekend. Still a very fun time!

GalactiCon 2016 Mission Accomplished!
Close to 2100 miles driven through 5 States.
3 Professional Sporting events (MLB, RoH, & MLS)
Had Primanti Bros. for the First time and a Philly Cheesesteak @ Pat's, King of Steak for the first time.
Ran the "Rocky Steps" (piece of cake, BTW...) & got to tour the Little League World Series Complex (in South Williamsport, PA) on the way home (something I have wanted to do for a long time, next time I go there it will be during a LL World Series!)
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!
Had a Great Time Seeing Long Time Friends and Making New Ones at GalactiCon!
In Tournament Action...went to the Final four of the "Indies Tournament" and Won my Pool in the Canada Cup with Bounty Hunter, losing out to "Mr. GalactiCon 2016", "Dayton" Dave Little (who had Matter).
-----
BTW, yes my daughter had a good time too.
Highlights for her included visiting Eastern State Penitentiary and the Philadelphia Museum of Art (the Art inside), & The MLS game. And most importantly the ICE CREAM at Bruster's after the MLS game & at Penn State's Berkey Creamery (which we got at the end of out tour there).
-----
As always...HAD A BLAST & CANNOT WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN!

We went to the Penitentiary on Sunday after lunch with the G-Con gang. Interesting place...I can say that I still don't ever want to be incarcerated...anywhere! 2100 miles was the total from the trip to include all of the running around Philly and all of the places we visited on the way there and back. We put in a couple hundred miles around Philly, so to and from was likely somewhere near 1,800. The way I see it, might as well make the most of it when you are out there on the road!

Eastern Pen is on my bucket list of places to go. I would love to go on a ghost tour there!!
