As always, take it with a grain of salt because I saw it online...BUT...I just read that Vince has "reportedly" put in a bid to buy TNA, as have the Smashing Pumpkin himself, Billy Corgan and Sinclair Broadcasting (ROH). From what I read, WWE would shut down the company (of course) and assume ownership of the video library. Mixed feelings on this...I am by no means a TNA fan, but never want to see people lose jobs because they are taken over by some big corporation...

If Vince does pick up TNA he could easily keep it up and running in some form for a little while and do something with the belts. Maybe unification with the NXT belts.
TNA could also replace NXT as the "Developmental" brand and they could leave Impact in Florida and use people who aren't quite ready for NXT. NXT could then become final stop before people go full time on the road with Raw or Smackdown. It opens up a world of possibilities, depending on what Vince and Hunter want to do with it.
I'm sure Vinny Mac is eyeing the library with more and more former TNA talents coming to the WWE these days, and career retrospective Blu-Rays and DVD are still hot sellers.

If Vince does buy Tna i doubt we'll see any sort off story line like the invasion. The only that would change is Wwe would mention wredtlers pasts in Tna. Although with Aj Styles as Wwe champion they have the perfrct set up to do an invasion story line. Darn now my imagination is running wild with fantasy booking scenarios.

I normally am pretty anti-TNA, but maybe thats more Anti-Dixie TNA. I have actually been mildly interested in what Billy Corgan has brought to the product recently. Hopefully he will be the owner and do something new and different with the product.

If Vince bought it he would close it down and just take the library. An AJ Styles DVD collection looks good right about now. Plus more content for WWE Network.

Latest news is TNA does not have the money to produce Bound For Glory PPV or the next set of TV tapings. Looks like WWE is in play as a potential buyer. Stay tuned...

I read this on 411mania...
According to Pwinsider.com, Dixie Carter has had more talks with WWE over the last week or so regarding a possible deal. The site also states that the sale situation had become complicated (similar to the previous report) and that Carter is free to sell to whomever she wants. There’s still the chance that Billy Corgan can make a deal, but the site adds that, “the reality is this, the fuse on the TNA bomb is close to the end.”
