WWA #5 Grand Olympic Auditorium; Los Angeles ---Our opener once again sees Masked Canadian cheat to win a match, this time against prelim wrestler, Chief Joe Omega. This time he claimed Angelina Jolie was in the crowd and belted Omega w/ the FOREIGN OBJECT with the referee distracted. ---The Hollywood Blonde vs Tony Atlas/Koko B. Ware feud continues, this time in singles form as Atlas battled Bobby Shane. Tony manhandles his smaller opponent before winning w/ PRESS SLAM & SPLASH in a dominating performance. ---The Tag Team Power Series portion of our card features the returning Fantastics as they battle WWA's own, Red Bastien/Billy Red Lyons. Mis-communication between Bastien/Lyons results in Bastien getting caught w/ the ROCKET LAUNCHER as The Fantastics score their 3rd win of the Series. The Fantastics face the legendary, Hamilton Wrecking Crew next week in the TTPS. How will Rogers/Fulton fare against the Tolos Brothers? ---Our next match featured another chapter in the Pepper Gomez/Ray Stevens rivalry but this chapter didn't get very fair coming out of the gate. Gomez quickly hit a Mexican Leap but Nick Bockwinkel pulled Gomez out of the ring during the pinfall attempt. This caused a huge brawl between Bockwinkel and The Crusher as Gomez and Stevens eventually joined in. Officially, the match was declared a NO CONTEST but it took several minutes for security to break up the melee. --- Antonio Rocca/Ilio DiPaolo were looking for a measure of revenge against The Valentines as the popular duo has been on the losing end physically so far in this budding feud. Rocca was a 'Man on a Mission' throughout this match as he kept the father-son team off balance with his acrobatic style. The Valentines recovered once DiPaolo was in the ring and Johnny got several close nearfalls w/ the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER. However, DiPaolo made the hot tag to Rocca who cleaned house. The finish saw Antonio lift Greg up for the ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER to score the win. ---Our Main Event saw Mil Mascaras defend the Americas' championship against challenger, King Kong Bundy. Mil had difficulties early own as he would use power moves against his opponent, such as an Octopus Hold, the Indian Deathlock, and a Bow & Arrow, but Bundy would just power out of the moves. An early ending almost happened as Bundy dropped an Elbow off the Ropes for a close nearfall. Bundy went to work, trying to soften Mil up for his finisher, and hit several Power Drops and Running Power Slams. Bundy dropped the AVALANCHE on the champion but insisted on a '5-count' but Mil was able to get a shoulder up at 4, to Bundy's dismay. To the crowd's approval, Mil made a huge comeback as the champion started using his agility advantage. Finally, Mil started hitting his double finishers one after another but to Mil's surprise, Bundy kept kicking out!! The champion went back up top for the FLYING BODYPRESS but Bundy caught Mil in mid-air and hit a ring shaking Power Drop! However, Mil was too close to the ropes and a frustrated Bundy kicked the champion to the floor. Once, outside the ring, Bundy took his frustrations out on the champion but in doing so forced the referee to DISQUALIFY him for hitting several AVALANCHEs as Mil was trapped against the ringpost. An irate Bundy posed with the belt as EMTs tended to the champion to close the show. The official decision was rendered as a DQ win for Mil and the champion retains his title in his 2nd title defense.

WWA #6 Grand Olympic Auditorium; Los Angeles ---We start as Magnificent Muraco gets a dominating win over Scott Casey, winning w/ the HAWAIIAN HAMMER. The big news concerning this match was that Capt Lou Albano accompanied Muraco to the ring. ---Like last week, we see a continuation of the Hollywood Blondes vs Tony Atlas/Koko B. Ware feud in singles action as Gorgeous George uses a distraction from Cherie Dupree to steal a win over Koko B. Ware. Koko was setting up for his GHOST BUSTER finisher as Dupree sprayed Ware in the face with her hair spray. George applies his Gorgeous Grip for the finish. ---Once again, Billy Red Lyons/Red Bastien have communication problems in their match with Nick Bockwinkel/Ray Stevens. Lyons/Bastien collide mid-ring allowing Bockwinkel to stuff Bastien with a Piledriver before locking in the BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER for the finish. Afterwards, Bastien shoves Lyons away as Billy tries to help Red to the back. --- Freddie Blassie makes an appearance as he def. Dewey Robertson w/ the SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER. Once again, he hears catcalls from the crowd concerning his repeated silence on accepting Rikidozan's standing challenge. ---In a wild, brutal match, Wild Bull Curry steals a win from The Destroyer. Destroyer is running rampant over Curry, setting up for a Sensational Suplex. However, Bull grabs Destroyer's mask, twisting it sideways so Destroyer can't see. While the referee is trying to help Destroyer, he fails to notice Bull clobber Destroyer w/ BRASS KNUCKLES! Destroyer drops like a rock, allowing Curry to pick up the win. ---Our Main Event has The Fantastics vs the Hamilton Wrecking Crew in the Tag Team Power Series. The two teams put on a good match with the Tolos' barely able to get out of several Fantastic ROCKET LAUNCHERS. However, the heelish tactics of the HWC is the difference as Chris Tolos drills Tommy Fulton with a Running Boot to the Face as Rogers is climbing the turnbuckles. This allows John Tolos to drop the FLYING KNEE DROP on Rogers for the win. The Fantastics are the most successful TTPS team so far with a 3-1 record.

I have to say I am really enjoying your fed gabe72 and the callback to the great action from the Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles. Your roster seems perfect for the fed and I love that you are using Omega (albeit with a slight name change) as I did the same in my fed for a while. He fits right in. Great stuff and I will be following along for sure.

Thanks cruefan68 for the comments and I'm glad you like my version of the WWA. WWA #7 Grand Olympic Auditorium; Los Angeles ---We were suppose to open with the return of Bobo Brazil taking on the mysterious Mr X but what we got was a complete mugging. Mr X turned out to be The Sheik in a mask and he attacked as soon as he hit the ring. Bobo was blindsided as Sheik raked him across the forehead with a sharpened, stubby #2 pencil. Sheik kept up the attack, focusing on Bobo's shoulder area with a painful Sadistic Hammerlock before locking in the CAMEL CLUTCH! Bobo was in the painful hold for what seemed like an eternity as it was later told that Abdullah Farouk had chained the doors to the technico locker room shut. Finally, security was able to break up the mugging but Bobo was seriously hurt again by his arch-nemesis. ---Once the crowd settled down, we continued as King Kong Bundy crushed Chief Joe Omega w/ the AVALANCHE and a 5-count. Bundy will get another shot at Mil Mascaras and the Americas' championship next week in a match that was demanded by Mil. ---Taking a break from both of their feuds, Pampero Firpo/Wild Bull Curry out-muscled Tony Atlas/Koko B. Ware as Firpo forces Koko to submit to EL GARFIO. ---In a very competitive match, Don Leo Jonathan def. Greg Valentine w/ the MORMON SWING. Johnny Valentine tried to get involved but was cut off by The Destroyer before any damage could be done. --- Ray Stevens and The Crusher traded shot for shot in their match. Nick Bockwinkel tried to get involved but was sent to the back by the referee. Eventually, Crusher caught Stevens w/ the CRUSHER BOLO for the win. ---Our Main Event saw the Hamilton Wrecking Crew take on WWA's own, Antonio Rocca/Ilio DiPaolo in the Tag Team Power Series. Rocca ran circles around the Tolos Bros but they took Ilio to the woodshed. Rocca makes the hot tag but misses a deathjump setting up a Brutal Double Team followed by John dropping the FLYING KNEE DROP on the popular Rocca for the finish.

WWA #8 Grand Olympic Auditorium; Los Angeles ---Our opener, once again, sees the Masked Canadian booed out of the building for his antics against SD Jones. Masked Canadian distracts the referee again by yelling out a famous celebrity who is suppose to be in the crowd. Once the referee turns to look, Masked Canadian belts Jones w/ the FOREIGN OBJECT and gets the win to the loud jeers of the crowd. Billy Red Lyons confronts Masked Canadian on his way back to the locker room about his antics. Billy is overheard telling MC that he is making a mockery of our sport and it needs to stop now. --- Capt Lou ALbano brings his charge, Magnificent Muraco out for his match against Dewey Robertson. Albano makes Muraco's case for a title shot and Muraco doesn't disappoint in the ring. Muraco is in firm control and wins the bout with consecutive Asiatic Spikes to the throat. ---Our next bout is the weekly Tag Team Power Series as the Hamilton Wrecking Crew run their TTPS record to 3-0 with a win over Tony Atlas/Koko B. Ware. Tolos Brothers take the win when John hits Koko w/ the FLYING KNEE DROP. Next week, the TTPS gets Main Event status as the Tolos Brothers face The Destroyer/Don Leo Jonathan. --- Freddie Blassie is out to take on Red Bastien and continues to hear catcalls from the crowd over his non-response to Rikidozan's challenge weeks ago. This angers Blassie who takes it out on Bastien by repeatedly ramming his foe into the ringpost. Bastien is a bloody mess and Blassie earns a DQ loss in the process. Afterwards, Blassie takes the Auditorium house mike and addresses the crowd. Before touching on the Rikidozan challenge, he riles the crowd up even more by calling them pencil neck geeks. One fan is so enraged, he had to be restrained by security at ringside from entering the ring. Eventually, Blassie accepts Rikidozan's challenge and the two will meet as the Main Event of Card #10 in two weeks. --- The Fantastics are back in the area for the week as they battle The Valentines. Rogers/Fulton look on top of their game as they trap Greg in the ring for long periods of the match. The ending comes as they hit Greg w/ the ROCKET LAUNCHER to get the win. ---Our Main Event is next as Mil Mascaras defends the Americas' championship against his new arch-nemesis, King Kong Bundy. As per their last match, Bundy out-muscles Mil when the champ tries to get his arsenal rolling with a set of power moves in his repertoire. Bundy takes control and soon hits the AVALANCHE but Mil is able to kick out at a 3-count when Bundy calls for a 5-count! Mil rallies but Bundy catches the champ coming off the top turnbuckle with a ring shaking Running Power Slam that has Mil in serious trouble. Once again, Bundy hits the AVALANCHE, calling for another 5-count but Mil gets a shoulder up at 4! Bundy is furious, alleging a slow count from the referee. This allows enough of a momentary distraction for Mil to roll Bundy up in a Victory Roll to get the win and retain his championship for the 3rd time. Afterwards, an irate Bundy attacked the champion and left him laying with successive AVALANCHEs before security could get Bundy out of the ring. Bundy promised Mil that this would not be the last time they meet in the ring.

That was a great finish in the America's title match with Mascaras surviving the five count Avalanche to beat King Kong Bundy. That was also a great win over The Fantastics over Johnny & Greg Valentine in the semi-final. As noted you have some great L.A. style action going on here.

Great action but what else can Bundy do? Seems like Mil keeps coming out on top. Unsure if Bundy is worthy of a specialty match like a cage but maybe a match where winner reaches 10 tokens or 10 pin rating.
Would like to see the Fantastics in the title picture, I remember their stint in WCW/NWA/JCP where they were announced from the City of Angels.

Thanks for reading and the comments. I have an idea to get Bundy one more match with Mascaras later down the line to end this feud. As far as the tag team title picture, I'm leaning towards doing a round robin between the 3 teams with the best TTPS record. Look for an announcement after a few more cards on that front.WWA #9 Grand Olympic Auditorium; Los Angeles ---In our opener, Bobby Shane and Koko B. Ware renew their feud as Koko overcomes Shane's heelish tactics and an interference attempt by Cherie Dupree to win w/ the GHOST BUSTER. ---Once again, Capt Lou ALbano comes out to make his case for Magnificent Muraco getting a title shot. Muraco also doesn't disappoint in the ring as he takes Billy Red Lyons apart, winning w/ the HAWAIIAN HAMMER. Later in the week, it was announced that Muraco would get a shot at the Americas' championship against Mil Mascaras at Card #11. However, after this match, the Masked Canadian came down to mock Lyons which led to a brawl between the two. MC clocked Lyons w/ the FOREIGN OBJECT before security could get them separated. Lyons had to be helped to the back. ---Speaking of the champ, Mil Mascaras teamed with Antonio Rocca/Ilio DiPaolo to take on King Kong Bundy/The Valentines. This match broke down several times and was in danger of being thrown out. Bundy took advantage of a distracted referee to smash Mascaras with the title belt before dropping consecutive AVALANCHEs on the champion to get the win for his team. ---Our next match was a lot better than it should have been on paper as Red Bastien battled Pampero Firpo. The two put on a **** match that saw Bastien escape the EL GARFIO several times and Firpo kick out of Bastien's ATOMIC DROP finisher. With both men wore down, Bastien slipped coming off the turnbuckles in an attempt to hit a Flying Body Press. Firpo quickly applied EL GARFIO as Bastien struggled to get out of the hold. Eventually, Bastien went down and submitted to the move, giving Firpo the win. --- The Crusher vs Gorgeous George had to follow that last match. Even though, it wasn't as good as the Firpo/Bastien match, it was still entertaining. George tried to stall things on several occasions, causing Crusher's blood pressure to boil. This gave Cherie Dupree openings to distract Crusher but Crusher fought through the distractions to win with the CRUSHER BOLO. ---Our Main Event saw Hamilton Wrecking Crew battle The Destroyer/Don Leo Jonathan in the Tag Team Power Series. Destroyer/DLJ dominated the opening portions of the match and looked to be well on their way to a win. However, DLJ stayed in the ring too long for Destroyer's liking and an small argument ensued between the two technicos. The Tolos' used the distraction to gain the advantage over DLJ. They hit their FLYING KNEE DROP finisher and Chris Tolos prevented Destroyer from making the save to go 4-0 in the TTPS.

WWA #10 Grand Olympic Auditorium; Los Angeles ---The Tag Team Power Series starts us off as the Hamilton Wrecking Crew takes on two members of the Armstrong Family in Bob and Brad. It was explained that this match went on first as the Armstrongs had a late flight back to the East Coast. Bob/Brad were simply overmatched in this bout. Bob held strong but Brad was ineffective after suffering a Brutal Double Team in the Tolos' corner. The match ends mercifully soon after as John Tolos dropped his FLYING KNEE DROP finisher on the younger Armstrong for the finish. The Tolos' Brothers are 5-0 in the TTPS. Next week, the Tolos' face Pampero Firpo/Wild Bull Curry. --- Billy Red Lyons has called out the Masked Canadian for his antics for a couple of weeks and they finally meet in the ring. Billy takes it to his masked opponent but MC, once again, distracts the referee with his antics. Lyons gets put down w/ FOREIGN OBJECT during the distraction as MC picks up another tainted win. --- Nick Bockwinkel vs Pepper Gomez is next as the crowd is anxious to get a Gomez win over Bock. However, the fans would be disappointed as Nick takes control early on after clipping Gomez' knee from behind. Gomez put up a fight but eventually falls to Bock's FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. --- Pampero Firpo/Wild Bull Curry are rolling towards their TTPS match next week as they steamroll Tony Atlas/Koko B. Ware. Firpo finishes off Koko w/ EL GARFIO for the finish. ---Both Johnny Valentine and The Crusher are being looked at as contenders for the Americas' championship as this match appears to be a contender's elimination match. Johnny starts strong but can't put the double-tough Crusher away. Crusher kicks out of two ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHERS and starts to make his comeback. Johnny tries to mount a comeback of his own but eats the CRUSHER BOLO coming off the ropes. Crusher takes an important win. ---Our Main Event featured Freddie Blassie versus Rikidozan. Blassie finally answered Dozan's open challenge from Card #2. The match was very good in the early going but Blassie soon had the advantage with his heelish tactics. However, Dozan roared back to hit consecutive THUNDEROUS CHOPS that drove Blassie to the arena floor. Blassie decided he had had enough and simply walked away taking the COUNT-OUT loss. The fans were irate that Blassie would take such an easy way out. Promoters scrambled to prevent a near riot and announced that The Destroyer was in the building and has agreed to face Rikidozan. The crowd was on the edge of their seats for the whole match as the duo put on a MOTY classic. Dozan would fight out of several Destroyer FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK attempts before firing back with his THUNDEROUS CHOPS finisher. The vicious chops wore Destroyer down as Dozan scored the win after hitting Destroyer w/ the HIPLOCK. Afterwards, the crowd gave the duo a standing ovation but Destroyer was not happy about the outcome. Destroyer reluctantly shook Dozan's hand briefly before heading to the back to close the show.

I'm really liking the run by the Masked Canadian, he seems pretty polished in the ring. I wonder who it could be under that hood? It would have been cool to see Pepper Gomez win but Nick Bockwinkel is an elite talent and it was not surprising to see him victorious. How can you not like the team of Pampero Firpo & Wild Bull Curry? I'm hoping for big things from them in the TTPS. I really liked that huge win by The Crusher over Johnny Valentine. Good stuff. The main event was wild with Fred Blassie walking out leading to an impromptu match between Rikidozan and The Destroyer. I am really enjoying your LA based fed.
