I just now got caught up. Love that you are back with ONX! I too was surprised that Jay Lethal took Elgin out with his champion card being so good but it was a nice surprise. I also figured Havoc would have held onto her title longer, but Vanessa Kraven is tough. And then there is Kevin Steen. It is so easy yet so hard to hate anything he does, but I am rooting him on. Love all the action and will follow along.

Love all the action and will follow along. Right now, Steen and Lethal are the guys making the most waves in this company... To be completely honest, I was happy that Lethal took the top prize from Elgin... And if I bring Elgin back in the future, I think I'm going to use his original ROH card instead of the championship edition... I'm also having fun incorporating the females into the mix... And by not relegating them to a single brand, it should give me more options on how best to incorporating them into the action... Truly appreciate you taking the time to share a few thoughts, my friend... Hoping that you enjoy what's in store... Many thanks!

It is so cool to see you back with ONX and that last card was great. It was awesome to see reDRagon retain the tag titles beating Roppongi Vice in the main event but man the fans had to be pissed off. This was like Goldberg-Lesnar II all over again but being a big reDRagon fan I am happy with the result.
Johnny Gargano over ACH was my match of the night and it is always cool to see "Johnny Wrestling" get the win. I am hoping to see Cheerleader Melissa get another shot at Vanessa Kraven as that was a tough DQ loss for the "Future Legend". The tension between Christopher Daniels and Claudio Castagnoli over SoCal Val is great, looking forward to seeing how that plays out.

The tension between Christopher Daniels and Claudio Castagnoli over SoCal Val is great, looking forward to seeing how that plays out. Daniels and Castagnoli had a lot of success as a team in OutBreak with Val as their manager... But, I really wanted to use Claudio's Chikara card... Then I remembered that time in the WWE when Edge & Christian battled the Hardy Boyz over the services of Marlena... Thought it might be fun to steer these two in a similar direction... We'll see how it plays out... Melissa is definitely getting some support from the fans for a rematch... President Marquez will have to discuss it with the championship committee, for sure... I was also happy to see Gargano win the World Cruiserweight title shot... He will be the next to challenge AR Fox... Two of the best in that division, I think... Many thanks for taking the time to read and comment, my friend... Much appreciated!

ONX 5: Core (2.1) from Detroit, MI
Jonathan Gresham vs. Tommy End Tommy End defeated Jonathan Gresham with a disqualification at 11:55 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Gresham charges into the ring and starts brawling with his opponent before the opening bell. End retaliates with a series of kicks and tempers flare when the fight spills out to the floor. With no regard for the ref's warnings, Gresham delivers a solid chairshot and End is awarded the technical decision. (Fatigue: End 4 - Gresham 4)
- Championship Match - Sami Callihan vs. Timothy Thatcher for the ONX Network Championship Sami Callihan defeated Timothy Thatcher with a count-out at 9:49 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Callihan has a bit of difficulty maintaining momentum in this rugged exchange between two intense competitors. While Thatcher uses a scientific approach, the champion decides to take it to the extreme. He drives his opponent into the ringside steps, busting him open. Without breaking stride, he follows up with a shotgun knee off the apron and Thatcher is unable to beat the count back into ring. (Fatigue: Callihan 3 - Thatcher 5)
Sami Callihan retained the ONX Network Championship
Anthony Nese vs. Matt Riddle Anthony Nese defeated Matt Riddle with a REVERSE PILEDRIVER at 10:10 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Riddle hits a ferocious series of strikes, but fails to transition smoothly to his submission based arsenal. Nese bounces back with a high impact suplex combination and picks up a well deserved victory. (Fatigue: Nese 2 - Riddle 2)
Freelance Wrecking Crew vs. PowerPlay Petey Williams defeated Arik Cannon with a disqualification at 3:17 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: Quick tags by the international duo of Koslov and Williams makes it impossible for their opponents to mount any serious threat. Rolling out to the floor, Cannon catches Williams with a cheap shot and vents his frustration with a blatant choke against a guardrail. Koslov tries to help his partner and gets blindsided by Suge D. Having seen enough, the ref calls for the bell. (Fatigue: Cannon 1)
- Back Talk - Flanked by the members of the Crusade (Matt Taven & Michael Bennett), Maria complains about the officiating that cost them their match against Sabotage (Brian Kendrick & Paul London) on the last show. "We deserve a shot at the ONX World Tag Team Championship. Management better remember the old saying... You don't know what you got until it's gone."
Domi-Nation (Jon Davis & Uhaa Nation) walk onto the runway, pointing at that they also lost on the previous show, but they are not here to make excuses. They tell Maria to stop whining and let her team do their talking in the ring. Taven and Bennett are furious, demanding a match against the two intruders. ONX president, Dave Marquez, says everyone will get their chance to prove themselves, informing both teams that they are now scheduled to meet later on the same show. Maria cries foul, claiming that her team needs time to prepare. Davis and Nation appear satisfied with the development.
Dalton Castle vs. Drew Gulak Drew Gulak defeated Dalton Castle with an UNIVERSITY STRETCH at 5:23 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Using a combination of perfectly executed holds, Gulak stretches out his opponent. Castle draws upon the energy of the fans and the attention of his 'boys' to mount a comeback. Disgusted by the spectacle, Gulak attacks one of the 'boys' and Castle loses focus. Gulak uses this opening to trap Castle in his punishing dragon sleeper with body scissors. The ref stops match when Castle becomes unresponsive. (Fatigue: Gulak 1 - Castle 4)
Pushing his fallen foe out of the ring, Gulak makes sure to point out that he has just defeated the number one contender for the ONX Network Championship.
Crusade vs. Domi-Nation Matt Taven defeated Jon Davis with a HAIL MARY at 6:29 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Taven and Bennett cut the ring in half, preventing Nation from being able to legally tag into the match. The ref cuts him off each time he tries to enter the ring, and the Crusade use the distractions to further their own cause. Davis endures a lot of punishment, but eventually falls to his opponents and their tandem spike piledriver. (Fatigue: Davis 4)
Athena vs. Daizee Haze Daizee Haze defeated Athena with a disqualification at 5:08 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Athena gets the best of this heated exchange, but accidentally strikes the ref when he gets too close to the action. The technical decision is all Haze needs to put herself in the number one contender spot for the ONX Ladies Open Championship. (Fatigue: Haze 3)
- Next Episode - ONX 8: Core (3.1) from Cleveland, OH - In the main event, Austin Aries will take on Chris Sabin as both men continue their quest for gold. - The ONX World Tag Team Championship will be on the line when ReDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly) meets Sabotage (Brian Kendrick & Paul London). - ONX Ladies Open Champion, Vanessa Kraven defends the belt against Daizee Haze. - Three high profile cruiserweight contenders will be involved in a Triple Threat: Anthony Nese, Drew Gulak and Zack Sabre Jr. - Also appearing: Cedric Alexander, Shawn Daivari, (free agent) Rude Boy Riley, the Crusade (Matt Taven & Michael Bennett) w/ Maria and more!
- Championship Match - Jay Lethal vs. Roderick Strong for the ONX World Heavyweight Championship Jay Lethal defeated Roderick Strong with a LETHAL INJECTION at 19:34 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Interference by The Dark Menace turns out to be the deciding factor in this spectacular display of willpower and athleticism. After nailing the champion with a SICK KICK, the challenger applies the STRONG HOLD, an elevated Boston crab with a knee to his opponentβs back. When the ref checks on Lethal, he fails to witness The Dark Menace strike Strong across the head with his cane. This is the only respite that Lethal needs to finish Strong with his trademark handspring off the ropes into an Ace Crusher. (Fatigue: Lethal 5 - Strong 6)
Jay Lethal retained the ONX World Heavyweight Championship

Gresham put up a fight but met The End Callihan is oding well as the Network Champion. (Still not sure if I like the new gimmick in Lucha) Nese solved the Riddle. the Pure Athelete doing alright FWC got DQ'd against PowerPlay. some interesting pairings Dalton Castle loses to Gulak...and Gulak making his bid for a shot. The Crusade over Domi-Nation Daizee with the DQ and Jay Lethal retains the title over Strong. Good show and the next show looks to be just as good.

Callihan had some trouble putting away Thatcher and there may still be some unfinished business there but Drew Gulak is now (rightfully) knocking on the door.
Lethal wins by the grace of the Dark Menace. I think Strong may want another crack at the title. And a follow up to their five star match would be good for business.
Looking forward to what happens next!

Pleased that you enjoyed the second offering from the Core brand, barflymike4ever and aceldamas... Although this fed doesn't receive nearly as much attention as my GWF, it's a helluva lot of fun to play when the mood strikes me... Callihan is one of my favorites in the game and I'm always happy when he comes out on top in a somewhat reckless manner... Not yet sure what I think about his gimmick in Lucha Underground... Thinking that it COULD be something, but WILL it be something? Loving the White Rabbit Tribe though... Drew Gulak is someone that I always wanted to perform better... Here's hoping this is a sign of things to come... Dalton Castle will challenge Callihan for the ONX Network title at ONX 9: Fear the OutBreak (a combined show)... Maybe Gulak can grab a shot the next time the title comes to the Core brand... Roddy Strong vs Jay Lethal, Part 2... Something to consider... Always appreciate the awesome feedback, my friends... Many thanks!

ONX 5 had some interesting results and most surprising to me was Crusade beating Domi-nation. I was half expecting that protesting by Maria, Bennett and Taven to backfire on them but they pulled it out. Truth Martini bailed out Jay Lethal in the main event and for that alone Roderick Strong deserves a rematch for the ONX World title. It was cool earlier to see Sami Callihan retain the ONX Network title as I thought that Timothy Thatcher might beat him for it.

Unfortunately, he will have to take a number... Because next up will be Kevin Steen at ONX 9: Fear the OutBreak... Which will be another show that combines all three brands... But, it was actually The Dark Menace that bailed out Lethal and not Truth Martini... Got the name for the Menace's new stable from the name of the most recent COTG set - Regime Change... Always appreciate the excellent feedback, my friend... Many thanks!
