the last two days of MLW Memorial Cup results will not be posted tonight, I am dealing with an unexpected major death in my family today however, as she would say, "the show must go on"- and it will, but later this week when I am hopefully feeling better than I am right now Sorry for your loss. My gran died 3 weeks before Xmas so I feel your pain.

Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) MLW Memorial Cup Night 3 May 27, Year 1 (First Half of show)
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Dark Match: Lenny Lane (managed by Rock Riddle) defeated "The Rocker" Marty Jannetty by countout
- this match ended in countout when Rock Riddle tripped Jannetty as he was trying to reenter the ring forcing Jannetty to fail to make it before the 10 count was finished
Match #1: Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Pampero Firo (managed by Rock Riddle,) The Destroyer, and Trish Stratus in a United States Championship #1 contender's four way elimination match
- for this match, United States Champion Bobo Brazil provided guest color commentary
- Stratus pinned Firpo after 2 consecutive Chick Kicks
- Duggan pinned The Destroyer via FLYING SPEAR
- Duggan pinned Stratus via FLYING SPEAR
- as a result, Duggan receives a United States Championship match against Brazil tomorrow on Night 4!
Match #2: Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson defeated The Fantastics in a Special Attraction match
- the Fantastics controlled the majority of the match but Blanchard and Anderson won when Anderson pinned Bobby Fulton via GOURDBUSTER
Match #3: Rock N Roll Express defeated Midnight Express (managed by Jim Cornette) in a Quarter-Finals match
- a great match, Rock N Roll Express advanced to the Semi-Finals when Robert Gibson pinned Dennis Condrey after DOUBLE DROPKICK
- afterward, Cornette and the Midnight Express were visibly furious about being eliminated
Match #4: VWF Tag Team Champions Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page defeated Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (both managed by Shawn Daivari) in a Quarter-Finals match
- the Iron Sheik and Volkoff had the current VWF Tag Team Champions in trouble for most of this match, but Savage and DDP escaped and advanced to the Semi-Finals when DDP made a sudden reversal and then pinned the Iron Sheik with a Discus Clothesline
- as a result of surviving to the final night tomorrow, Savage and DDP do not have to defend the VWF Tag Team Championship on Night 4.
Match #5: Big Van Vader defeated Rob Van Dam (accompanied by Curt Hennig) in a Special Attraction match
- Vader won via a POWER BOMB
- afterward, DiBiase appeared and laughed at his defeated enemy RVD and said Vader, who is now 3-0 this weekend in Special Attraction matches, will be awarded with a Special Attraction match next month at Extreme Rules if he also wins his match tomorrow night.

Vader is simply trashing the opposition... If he continues on this tear, gotta wonder if DiBiase will try to sign him to a full-time contract...
Really fun first half to night three of this awesome tournament... And sorry for not mentioning this sooner...

Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) MLW Memorial Cup Night 3 May 27, Year 1 (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #6: Ronnie Garvin defeated Lex Luger in a Special Attraction match
- Luger was determined to avenge getting eliminated by Garvin in last night's 10 man tag elimination match but Garvin once again used his HANDS OF STONE to get a pinfall on Luger.
Match #7: Road Warriors defeated Miracle Violence Connection in a Quarter-Finals match
- a good match that saw the Road Warriors avenge their loss to the MVC on Monday's RAW that cost them a first round bye in the tournament, Road Warriors advanced to the Semi-Finals when Road Warrior Animal pinned Steve "Dr. Death" Williams via the DOOMSDAY DEVICE.
Match #8: Bruiser Brody and Jimmy Snuka defeated Lou Thesz and Buddy Rogers in a Quarter-Finals match
- Snuka pinned Thesz after a SUPERFLY LEAP
- afterward, VWF Champion and VWF Chairman of the Board "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase appears and is delighted at his enemies Thesz and Rogers getting eliminated. DiBiase however says he has some good news for Thesz and Rogers and that is one of them will be receiving the VWF Championship title shot against him tomorrow night- but first they will have to wrestle each other in a match and then he (DiBiase) will dispatch the exhausted winner afterward. as he leaves the ring, DiBiase laughs hysterically at his plan to make his enemies Thesz and Rogers wrestle against each other tomorrow
Match #9: Great Muta defeated Dusty Rhodes and Barry Windham in a triple threat Special Attraction match
- Muta got the victory by making Windham tap out to a bridging chinlock
Match #10: Ric Flair defeated Sting in a Special Attraction match
- Flair won via his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK

Now that they've knocked the MVC out of the running, it probably looks as though the Roadies have this tournament nailed down... Personally, I think nothing could be farther from the truth... Brody and Snuka just defeated two of the best in the history of the game... In fact, I think Thesz and Rogers were picked to win it all by someone that does historically well at predicting the final outcome of this illustrious event. Very cool that Muta scored the win in that special Triple Threat... And the Nature Boy is still showing - To be the man you gotta beat the man... WOOOOOOOO!

Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) MLW Memorial Cup Night 4 May 28, Year 1 (First Half of show)
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Dark Match: Curt Hennig (accompanied by Rob Van Dam) defeated "Dr. Death" Steve Williams (accompanied by Terry Gordy)
- this match, featuring 2 of the wrestlers on the opposing teams in the upcoming War Games match at the Great American Bash in just over a month from now, ended in a victory for Curt Hennig after 2 straight HENNIG PLEXES
Match #1: The Steiners defeated Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson in a Special Attraction match
- Blanchard and Anderson controlled the majority of the action but the Steiners won when Scott Steiner pinned Tully Blanchard after a SUPER DDT performed in tandem with Rick Steiner.
Match #2: Sting defeated Sid Vicious by DQ in a Special Attraction match
- Vicious controlled the majority of the action but became DQd when the action spilled out of the ring and he started acting psychotic and smashed Sting with a steel chair
Match #3: Rock N Roll Express defeated VWF Tag Team Champions Randy Savage (accompanied by Malia Hosaka) and Diamond Dallas Page in a Semi-Finals match
- Rock N Roll Express advanced to tonight's tournament finals when Ricky Morton pinned Savage after 3 straight DOUBLE DROPKICKS as Robert Gibson hit DDP with a flying headscissors
- afterward Savage and DDP's chemistry issues, which had had been defused through the first several nights of the tournament, flared up again as they started to shove each other in frustration over tonight's defeat until they were separated by Hosaka. Savage then threw one of the VWF Tag Team Championship belts hard at DDT and left the ring separately with Hosaka
Match #4: Road Warriors defeated Bruiser Brody and Jimmy Snuka in a Semi-Finals match
- an evenly paced match in regards to offense, Road Warriors advanced to the finals when Road Warrior Hawk pinned Snuka after a double clothesline
- as a result it will be the Rock N Roll Express vs the Road Warriors in the MLW Memorial Cup Finals later tonight!
Match #5: Buddy Rogers defeated Lou Thesz in a VWF Championship #1 contender's match
- both Thesz and Rogers shook hands at the start of this match as Striker and Zbyszko comment that VWF Chairman of the Board "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase not only deviously made these two tag team partners, who are his enemies, wrestle against each other for a shot at his (DiBiase's) VWF Championship later tonight but he also made them wrestle the final match of the first half to give the winner less recovery time
- a good match, Thesz scored more pinfall attempts but Rogers scored the victory via his FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE
- as a result, Rogers gets a chance to regain the VWF Championship later tonight
