I use OpenOffice and I have all of my feds roster, records and results all in one folder. I then break things down to yearly folders so I can easily look back at my feds history and records. It's a free program and their are frequent updates for it. I've got the same program. It's an excellent clone of Microsoft Office, as it easily allows me to open and edit and save documents in .XLS format.

OpenOffice and Google Drive have made my life a lot easier when it comes to organizing my feds. I still like to track stuff in notebooks but not to the degree I used to.

Open Office and Google Drive are the way to go, especially if you want to books some shows on the sly at work. It's crazy to think I used to track all of this stuff in notebooks.

Yeah, that "at work" part is pertinent for me as well.

Anyone else with feedback? I want to see if there is anything else to really mull my options.

for what I put in the computer I use MS Excel...basic spreadsheet for tracking titles.
I also have a spreadsheet that I print out for setting up my cards and win/loss tracking. I am sure I could do more of this on the computer, but it "just feels so right" to put pen to paper when I am playing...
A long time ago when MS Windows had it, I used to use the "flashcard" program to track titles...after every card I would create a new flashcard with the results of the title matches from each card...I think I still have the file on my other computer, but I don't know if I will ever be able to open it since the program is long removed from Windows...will have to look next time I jump on that system.

I still use pencil, a highlighter, and big spiral notebooks to keep track of basic results, rankings, and injuries. I do my detailed card recaps on Word and also do a lot of different spreadsheets on Excel.
A couple years ago I got lazy and didn't back up my files for a few months. My truck got broken into and my laptop was stolen. Although I lost just a few card recaps, without having my results on paper I would've never remembered the details of those cards (promos, matches, who won, etc). Lesson learned and now I back up once a week!

For me I like to utilize the title history threads on this board as it allows me both a resource to refer to easily and simultaneously also share my results with others.
For example, I have a title history thread for my Combat Vegas Wrestling (CVW) fed that not only keeps track of my title histories but also records notable achievements such as my annual Best of the Best winners and my annual Tournament of Death winners. I like it because I don't have to keep it in a notebook and I just copy and paste it and add to it with a new post whenever a new title change occurs (very easy to manage.)
this is what it looks like:
following The Sound of Violence:
Combat Vegas Wrestling (CVW)
CVW Championship 1. Drake Younger, Show #2: Out with the Cold, In with the Gold (February Year 1)- Show #10: Halloween Havoc (October Year 1) 2. Danny Havoc, Show #10: Halloween Havoc (October Year 1)- Show #12: Cage of Death (December Year 1) 3. Drake Younger, Show #12: Cage of Death (December Year 1)- Show #13: Cool and Usual Punishment (January Year 2) 4. Joey Ryan, Show #13: Cool and Usual Punishment (January Year 2)- Show #19: Liquor and Poker? I Don't Even Know Her! (July Year 2) 5. Masada, Show #19: Liquor and Poker? I Don't Even Know Her! (July Year 2)- Show #20: Tangled Web (August, Year 2) 6. Drake Younger, Show #20: Tangled Web (August, Year 2)- Show #22: The Sound of Violence (October, Year 2) 7. Kevin Steen, Show #22: The Sound of Violence (October, Year 2)- current
Wired Championship 1. "Sick" Nick Mondo, Show #19: Liquor and Poker? I Don't Even Know Her! (July Year 2)- current
CVW Tag Team Championship 1. The Tribe, Show #3: March Madness (March, Year 1)- Show #4: No Rain, Lots of Pain (April, Year 1) 2. The Brisoces, Show #4: No Rain, Lots of Pain (April, Year 1)- Show #10: Halloween Havoc (October, Year 1) 3. Los Banditos, Show #10: Halloween Havoc (October, Year 1)- Show #12: Cage of Death (December, Year 1) 4. The Briscoes, Show #12: Cage of Death (December, Year 1)- current
Best of the Best winners 1. Sami Callihan (Year 1) 2. Drake Younger (Year 2)
Tournament of Death winners 1. Sami Callihan (Year 1) 2. Masada (Year 2)

I use a spreadsheet for tracking performance ratings.
When I'm playing, I use an A4 pad, pen, dice tower, a handful of dice all different colours.

I almost forgot, I really like using this Round Robin bracket generator. Even if you're not doing a tournament, I like having it so I can keep track of what matches I've already done to cut down on repeats. www.printyourbrackets.com/round-robin-generator.php
