I am aware of the allegations about Snuka, but I was still really sad to hear this news today. For awhile in the early 2000s, Jimmy Snuka was living here in Las Vegas while his son Jimmy Snuka Jr. (aka Deuce) was training at a local Indy fed which preceded today's main local fed FSW. I got to meet Snuka and he signed my copy of his LOW card back in 2009 when he was present for FSW's first-ever casino show at the Silver Nugget for which in the main event he was at ringside for his son Jimmy Snuka Jr. and hit the SUPERFLY LEAP from the 2nd turnbuckle on Disco Inferno. I am glad Snuka was included in the first LOW color set and he will continue to live on in my LOW fed where he is currently feuding with Gorgeous George. RIP Superfly!

RIP. I will choose to remember his awesome series of matches with Bob Backlund circa 1982. One of the first live shows I attended was at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY, that year to see Backlund vs. Snuka for the title. To this day my brother and I swear that we heard a four count when Snuka had Backlund pinned after a diving headbutt but the referee kept the match going. Of course Backlund would go on to retain the title crushing my hopes of seeing "Howdy Doody" lose the gold that night. Snuka was an electrifying performer in his prime no question.
