GWF: A New Era
In the year 2074, in the month of April, on the planet Deimos, Omega and Morpheus finalized their meeting with Galactics Champions Inc. to fund the biggest wrestling organization in almost 30 years: The Galaxian Wrestling Federation. The first order of business for Omega and Morpheus was to sign potential superstars, and a talent raid of Pleiades Outlaw Wrestling was agreed upon. The biggest signees included K.O. Keller, Screw, The Tag Teams of Paladin Power and Defiance, and Ricken Prince. However, one of the living legends of professional wrestling, Torin Caelum, was brought in by Morpheus from the Sagitta Grasps League to much fanfare. Torin Caelum had been revered as one of the pioneers of the underground wrestling circuits. Omega announced that a 10 man tournament for the inaugural GWF Galaxian Championship was to be held in the month of July, and the winner would be decided in the month of August. Also announced was a 4 team tag tournament for the inaugural GWF Galaxian Tag Team Championships, held in the month of August. At the same press conference Omega made these huge announcements, Morpheus made an even bigger one: Anyone from anywhere in the galaxy could come into the GWF, to compete and earn a chance at the glory that came with being a GWF superstar. By May, 2 tag teams(The Crosscurrents and The Mensans) and 3 singles competitors (Santon, Commander Sam, and Torpor) had thrown there name into the hat for the inaugaral GWF Galaxian Championship and Tag Championship Tournaments. In June, a mysterious note showed up at the recently built GWF headquarters(at the time, it was but a one story building) that read: "GWF, we are here to take these tournaments by storm. Signed, D S." Omega extended the singles tournament to 19 men, challenging the D S to show up. He also extended the Tag Team Tournament to 8 teams, with the introduction of a couple more teams. GWF Galaxian Title Tournament First Round Card: Torin Caelum Vs. Vortex One Member of D S? Vs Ricken Prince The other member of D S? vs Trotarus Morpheus Vs Cordsar Santon Vs Commander Sam Screw Vs. Torpor K.O. Keller Vs Thetis Solar Flare Vs Blood Moonstrike Vs Jammer Omega recieves a first round bye for pulling the 1 seed in the tournament. To Be Continued...

Great opening bracket. My pick is Torin Caelum to win it all. He was a monster back in this era for me. Can't with for the results.

GWF: A New Era, July 2074
The arena on Albiero, home of Blood and Jammer, hosts the first ever GWF event, with only potential investors in the product invited to watch the first round of the GWF Galaxian Heavyweight Championship Tournament.
Torin Caelum VS. Vortex:
Torin Caelum over Vortex via Abdominal Stretch at 15:58
Match Rating: 3.00
Notes: Torin Caelum put on a wrestling clinic, but could not seem to put away the resilient Vortex. Much more competitive than originally thought, the investors even started cheering for the underdog Vortex towards the end. However, Caelum puts him away, and looks almost stunned at the investors as he strides away from the ring. (Fatigue: Vortex-3 Torin Caelum-0)
Trotarus VS. One member of D S:
Blacklash over Trotarus via Sundown at 4:46
Match Rating: 2.25
Notes: A man in a leather jacket makes his way down to ringside, announcing himself as Blacklash, mastermind behind the D S, better known as Dorado Sundown. He says that his goal is to demolish Omega, and to a lesser extent, Morpheus. Trotarus makes his way down to ringside, and completely demolishes Blacklash in the opening minutes. However, Blacklash is just one Sundown away from victory, and puts his opponent away with ease. (Fatigue: Blacklash-1 Trotarus-2)
Bullwhip VS. Ricken Prince:
Bullwhip over Ricken Prince via Twelve O’clock High at 14:00
Match Rating: 3.50
Notes: Blacklash stays at ringside, and announces the other member of Dorado Sundown, Bullwhip. Ricken Prince awaits Bullwhip in the ring, and the second Bullwhip enters, a huge brawl between the two big men begins. An absolute slobber knocker of a match, Bullwhip barely escapes defeat, planting Ricken Prince with two Twelve O’clock Highs for the win. (Fatigue: Ricken Prince-2 Bullwhip-2)
Morpheus vs Cordsar:
Cordsar over Morpheus via DQ at 1:25
Match Rating: 0.25
Match Notes: A furious Morpheus just destroys Cordsar with a steel chair just minutes after the match starts. Morpheus demands a mic, and screams into it that he is infuriated that Dorado Sundown thinks so lightly of him. He says that what he just showed is just a preview of what he will do to Dorado Sundown. (Fatigue-Cordsar-0 Morpheus-0)
Santon the Loner VS. Commander Sam:
Santon the Loner over Commander Sam via running clothesline at 4:12
Match Rating: 1.75
Match Notes: Back and forth match between the two, but Commander Sam’s inexperience was his downfall. Both men shake hands after the match. (Fatigue: Santon-0 Commander Sam-2)
Screw VS. Torpor
Screw over Torpor via Freakish Face Slam at 2:01
Match Rating: 0.75
Match Note: Complete domination by Screw as he advances to the second round of the tournament to face Blacklash. (Fatigue: Torpor-2 Screw-0)
K.O. Keller VS. Thetis
K.O. Keller over Thetis via Ten Count at 17:45
Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: Very competitive match, with the other member of the Crosscurrents showing very impressive resiliency and guts. K.O. Keller thanks the investors for their time, bows, and exits the ring. (Fatigue: Keller-1 Thetis-3) Solar Flare VS. Blood:
Blood over Solar Flare via Disqualification at 10:34
Match Rating: 2.25
Notes: Blood picks up the win after Jammer comes down to ringside to distract the ref. Blood opens up one of the scars on his forehead, and throws a chair into the hands of Solar Flare. The ref has no choice but to disqualify the Titan. (Fatigue: Solar Flare-1 Blood-1)
Moonstrike VS. Jammer:
Jammer over Moonstrike via Bad Night at 1:56
Match Rating: 0.75
Notes: Jammer completely dominates Moonstrike. From the outset, it is clear that Jammer is a man on a mission in this tournament. After the match, Solar Flare runs out from the back, still upset about the distraction from Jammer in his last match. Blood meets him, and a brawl between the four takes place, eventually broken up by Omega and a team of security. (Fatigue: Moonstrike-2 Jammer-0)

Morpheus getting knocked out (or knocking himself out) of the first round is HUGE! Dorado Sundown are two of my favorite characters so I love that they are advancing. What if they have to fight each other? That's be awesome! And my pick Torin Caelum passes through. Great stuff. Can't wait for the next round!

I suspect that Morpheus may cause some havoc for Dorado Sundown unless they are careful... I should be rolling this card tonight, and results should be up tomorrow morning! Soon, the tag tournament!

Omega VS. JammerTorin Caelum VS. BullwhipK.O. Keller VS. BloodScrew VS. BlacklashCordsar VS. Santon The Loner No fair making me choose between Torin and Bullwhip. Still think Bullwhip takes it. If I'm remembering correctly from when I played these early days, K.O. Keller can be a spoiler too.

GWF: A New Era Late July 2074
The Second Round of the Inaugaral GWF Galaxian Heavyweight Championship Tournament is held on Aethra, in front of the entire Aethran Military and Minister of War. This crowd is by far the rowdiest that most of these superstars have seen, with hometown hero Santon and outsider Screw potentially receiving the most support from them. Omega VS. Jammer
Omega over Jammer via Disqualification at 0:57
Match Rating: 0.25
Match Notes: Jammer gets a quick disqualification after a low blow outside the ring. Jammer seems not to care, and walks to the back as if nothing happened. (Fatigue: Jammer-0 Omega-0)
Bullwhip VS. Torin Caelum
Torin Caelum over Bullwhip via Caelum Grip at 7:23
Match Rating: 2.50
Match Notes: Good match where both men showed their best. Bullwhip got locked in the Caelum Grip when Morpheus emerged from the back, standing silently 100 feet from the ring. After the match Caelum turned to the investors and put a finger over his lips, as if to silence them. (Fatigue: Caelum-0 Bullwhip-2)
K.O. Keller VS. Blood
K.O. Keller over Blood via Ten Count at 4:23
Match Rating: 1.50
Match Notes: Blood worked over Keller for the first 4 minutes very methodically, and was wearing down his opponent when Paladin Power rushed down to ringside. Jammer intercepted them, but the distraction was still enough for Keller to reverse a back body drop into a piledriver, and finish him with the Ten Count. (Fatigue: Blood-1 Keller-0)
Screw VS. Blacklash
Screw over Blacklash at 10:01 via rollup
Match Rating: 3.25
Match Notes: Mild applause from the crowd for the cleansed one, Screw. Screw used his power advantage for the majority of the match, throwing around the smaller Blacklash. Towards the end, Blacklash started to gain momentum, but a surprise rollup by Screw ended the match. After the finish, Bullwhip ran down to the ring and started beating down on Screw, but Morpheus made the save and chased both Doradons away with a series of clotheslines. A visibly angry Screw grabs Morpheus around the throat and throws him into a corner, exiting the ring and staring at him. (Fatigue: Screw-0 Blacklash-3)
Cordsar VS. Santon The Loner
Santon over Cordsar via disqualification at 6:15
Match Rating: 1.25
Match Notes: The crowd erupted when Santon made his entrance. This was the man they had waited all night for. Santon controlled the match very effectively, trying to disorient his opponent with shots to the head from all angles. Cordsar eventually became so frustrated that he got disqualified by the referee for choking out Santon way past the 5 count. Around 5 Aethran soldiers rushed to the ring to kill Cordsar for what he had down, but security kept them at bay and escorted the Mensan to the back. (Fatigue- Santon-1 Cordsar-2)

Well Dorado Sundown are out, but they'll get their revenge in the Tag Tournament I'm sure. Tori Caelum and KO Keller advance. I say one of them winds up champ.
Hope are you tracking your time?
Great stuff!
