I feel like this card will be one of those ones to remember for a long time. Some great matches and we still do not know what the other attractions are. Interested to see what surprises you have in store for us. Hope you enjoy what the promoters have in store... Trying to throw some guys into the mix that haven't received much exposure in WGV so far... Also hoping that this tournament delivers the opportunity to expand on existing stories while creating a few new ones... Always appreciate the excellent feedback, my friend... Many thanks!

WRESTLING GONE VIRAL3T: TOTAL TRIPTYCH TOURNAMENT1.13 from the Mohegan Sun Arena(Part 1 of 2)3T - Opening Round: AR Fox, Ethan Page w/ Seleziya Sparx and Robert Anthony vs. Icarus and American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) Icarus and American Wolves defeat AR Fox, Ethan Page and Robert Anthony via disqualification when Anthony shoves the ref while trying to run Icarus into the rails outside the ring. This leads to a heated dispute when Page blames Anthony for their team's disappointing loss. (Tokens: Icarus 1) 3T - Opening Round: 2 Cold Scorpio, Rhino and Rob Van Dam vs. Claudio Castagnoli, Roderick Strong w/ Truth Martini and Scorpio Sky Claudio Castagnoli, Roderick Strong and Scorpio Sky defeat 2 Cold Scorpio, Rhino and Rob Van Dam via submission when Sky forces Scorpio to tap out with an ACE CRUSHER AND ROLL INTO A DRAGON SLEEPER. Before the opening bell rings, Rhino shocks his team by hitting RVD with a GORE! The collision drives RVD hard against the rails, knocking him senseless. Rhino seals the deal by shaking hands with Martini and becoming a member of his House of Truth. Despite a valiant effort, 2 Cold Scorpio eventually succumbs to the overwhelming odds. (Tokens: Strong 1 - Scorpio 5) Special Attraction: The Hobo vs. Blue Meanie Blue Meanie defeats The Hobo via pinfall with a MEANIESAULT. A truly crowd pleasing affair that receives a standing ovation! (Tokens: Meanie 3 - Hobo 3) After the match, Blue Meanie has some fun tormenting Nigel McGuinness at the commentary table. McGuinness offers a good natured challenge, stating he will find a partner to take on Meanie and The Hobo on the next show. 3T - Opening Round: El Generico, Jigsaw and Tim Donst vs. Garden of Evil (Delirious, Tursas & Ultramantis Black) El Generico, Jigsaw and Tim Donst defeat Garden of Evil via pinfall when Donst pins Ultramantis Black with a Gator Roll. The ref offers plenty of leniency in this wild exchange. Tursas uses his size for an impressive showing, but the Garden's latest recruit is not enough to fend of the athletic talent of their opponents. (Tokens: Jigsaw 2, Donst 2 - Tursas 1, UMB 2) WGV Tag Team Title Match: Incoherence* (Frightmare & Hallowicked) vs. S.C.U.M. (Jimmy Jacobs & Steve Corino) Contest ends in a draw as a result of a double disqualification when Jacobs tries to hit Frightmare with his RAILROAD SPIKE, leading to a wild brawl. As the ref calls for the bell, Eddie Kingston and Homicide charge to the ring and take out both members of S.C.U.M. with cooperative chairshots! Incoherence retains the WGV Tag Team Championship. (Tokens: Frightmare 2 - Jacobs 1) 3T - Opening Round: Shane Hollister and Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. Johnny Yuma and AC/DC (Arik Cannon & Darin Corbin) Johnny Yuma and AC/DC defeat Shane Hollister and Young Bucks via pinfall when Corbin pins Hollister with GINGER SNAP, a modified cutter. (Tokens: Yuma 2 - Hollister 1) Twisted Metal Showdown: Sami Callihan vs. Drake Younger Sami Callihan defeats Drake Younger via pinfall with a headlock driver. With the hostility between these two competitors at its peak and a WGV Interstate title shot on the line, both men dig deep to win this final encounter. Callihan busts Younger open with an exploder suplex into the cage and the blood loss takes a heavy toll. (Tokens: Callihan 2 - Younger 4) ...INTERMISSION...

Some nice results as always, especially enjoying Generico Jigsaw and Donst getting a win. Donst is absolutely tearing it up since WGV opened its doors... It was unfortunate that his undefeated streak came to an end a little while back when he lost his bid for the Interstate title against Adam Pearce... El Generico and Jigsaw have certainly been holding their own as well... They'll get Yuma & AC/DC in the quarterfinals - Who seem to be working well together... Always appreciate the continued interest, my friend... Part 2 will be up soon... Many thanks for staying tuned!

I thought I would post my thoughts during intermission:
Sami Callihan over Drake Younger in the Twisted Metal bout was great, especially the exploder suplex into the cage. I'm pulling for Callihan to win the WGV Interstate title. Incoherence vs. S.C.U.M. for the tag titles was pretty intense but it was cool to see Hallowicked & Frightmare retain. The Blue Meanie entertains in his own unique way but now has to deal with Nigel McGuinness. Not a smart move by the Meanie and The Hobo gets drawn into it too. Looking forward to seeing who Nigel picks as his tag partner.
The 3T action was great including some nice upsets especially Johnny Yuma & AC/DC getting past the Young Bucks & Shane Hollister. I really liked that win by Castagnoli, Strong and Scorpio Sky over Rhino, Rob Van Dam & 2 Cold Scorpio in what I consider the best match of the 3T action thus far. I was a bit bummed to see the Garden of Evil eliminated but I like their opponents as well. Looking forward to the next round of action.

Callihan and Younger have given me one of the best long-running programs in my fed's short history... And Callihan deserves this shot at the Interstate title as he got the best of Younger at almost every stage of their rivalry... Younger is still waiting on his rematch against Pearce (being the former champ and all that)... He's just gonna have to wait a bit longer... Rhino flipping on his partners and joining the House of Truth was a spontaneous decision... 2 Cold Scorpio gave it his best, but the overwhelming odds were just too much... Fortunately, I've found a place for 2 Cold on the next show to reward his noble effort... It would have been kinda cool to see Jacobs & Corino win the tag belts... Just so SCUM would be in control of even more gold... However, there is also something to be said for a little stability in the title scene... Truly appreciate the awesome feedback, my friend... Part 2 is all ready to post... Many thanks for staying tuned!

WRESTLING GONE VIRAL 3T: TOTAL TRIPTYCH TOURNAMENT 1.13 from the Mohegan Sun Arena (Part 2 of 2)
3T - Opening Round: Leva Bates and Briscoes (Jay & Mark Briscoe) vs. Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and Mike Bennett w/ Maria Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and Mike Bennett defeat Leva Bates and Briscoes via pinfall when Cole pins Jay Briscoe with Colelateral, a scoop brainbuster. Using some questionable double team tactics, Cole and O'Reilly pave the way for an upset. Mark tries to help his brother, but gets ordered back to his own corner by the official. Maria and Bennett work together to remove Leva from the equation, ramming her up against a metal barricade. (Tokens: JBriscoe 3)
3T - Opening Round: Masada and Philly's Most Wanted (BLK Jeez & Joker) vs. Tommaso Ciampa and WGTT (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) Tommaso Ciampa and WGTT defeat Masada and Philly's Most Wanted via pinfall (snake eyes) when Benjamin pins Jeez with PAYDIRT, a leaping reverse STO. A blind tag by WGTT catches Jeez completely by surprise and leads to a sudden finish. (Tokens: Jeez 1)
Unhappy with what he perceived as a fast count, Masada attacks Benjamin with a kendo stick! Grabbing a fire extinguisher, Joker sprays Haas and Ciampa with foam to prevent them from helping their partner. Security arrives to stop the assault, but Benjamin is seriously hurt. Commissioner Marquez determines that Ciampa and Haas will be permitted to find a substitute for the remainder of the tournament. (Benjamin injured for 3 cards. Masada suspended for 5 cards and Joker suspended for 3 cards.)
Jay Lethal vs. Bryan Danielson Jay Lethal defeats Bryan Danielson via submission with a figure four leglock. Danielson actually manages to reach the bottom rope, but Michael Elgin knocks his hand away when the ref is looking in the other direction! Lethal receives an immediate rematch for the WGV World title. (Tokens: Danielson 2)
3T - Opening Round: Brodie Lee and The Tribe (Hawaiian Lion & Navajo Warrior) w/ Olivia vs. The Ant Hill (Green Ant, Fire Ant & Soldier Ant) The Ant Hill defeats Brodie Lee and The Tribe via pinfall when Soldier Ant pins Brodie Lee with tandem diving stomps. Spectacular teamwork by the Ants leads to a stunning victory over former WGV Network and WGV Tag Team champions. (Tokens: Lee 3, Warrior 2)
3T - Opening Round: Joey Ryan and Los Banditos (Rico Dynamite & Tito Escondido) vs. Arik Royal and C&C Wrestle Factory (Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander) Arik Royal and C&C Wrestle Factory defeat Joey Ryan and Los Banditos via submission when Arik Royal forces Rico Dynamite to tap out with a Kobe Clutch. Making a profound statement, Royal overpowers Rico and claims victory for his team in record time! (Tokens: n/a)
WGV World Title Match: Kevin Steen* vs. Eddie Kingston Kevin Steen defeats Eddie Kingston via pinfall with F-CINQ, a fireman's carry facebuster. Steen dominates the opening moments, busting Kingston open against a ring post after a low blow that goes unseen by the official. Homicide tries to tip the scales in Kingston's favor, but he gets taken out by Jimmy Jacobs and Steve Corino. Although he manages to briefly turn things around, Kingston fails to capitalize on his Blank Check opportunity. Kevin Steen retains the WGV World Championship - a successful version one title defense. (Tokens: Steen 2 - Kingston 5)

The second half was even better than the first. I can't believe I forgot to note Rhino turning on his team as the way he did it was pretty sick leaving them in a handicapped situation. For once I had no problem with S.C.U.M. interference as Homicide interfered first in the main event. The hard earned Blank Check for Eddie Kingston didn't pay off and Kevin Steen retains. Next up is Jay Lethal and after that win over Bryan Danielson I would think that Lethal is more than ready to challenge "Wrestling's Worst Nightmare".
I was hoping to see Dem Boys and Leva Bates advance in the 3T but it was not to be. Cole, O'Reilly and Bennett, not to mention Maria, got away with murder there. The injury to Shelton Benjamin was pretty brutal as Masada lost his cool. It will be interesting to see who Ciampa and Haas choos as their partner for the next round. It was good to see Marquez hand down some swift suspensions. I am really looking forward to round two of what has already been a memorable event.

Homicide definitely proving he can stoop even lower than SCUM if the necessity arises... Unfortunately, it did nothing to help Kingston in his bid for the World title... When Steen is firing on all cylinders, he is one tough SOB... I'm personally looking forward to Lethal getting his rematch, as this will be a rubber match of sorts between him and Wrestling's Worst Nightmare... Each have challenged the other for the belt and both times, the challenger won the match... With Benjamin out, things could get a little rocky for Haas and Ciampa... It probably won't be a big surprise when their replacement is announced, as Ciampa has tagged up with this former champion in the past... It will become apparent when the revised lineup for the next show is posted... Always appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, my friend... Many thanks!

ugh to many kids didn't get to pick.. Icarus & the Wolves with the win starting off the 3T Castagoli, Strong & Sky win. an intrersting trio to be sure Blue Meanie with a win! and who doesn't like the Meanie. I keep hoping BWO will be in a chikara set or another one. nostalgia. OLE! Generico, Jig & Donst now here could be the cinderella team to go the distance wow. a draw as Incoherence keep the tag belts but SCUM will get them eventually. Yuma & AC/DC derail the superkick party man the 3T is shaking things up with some interesting results. Sami Callihan with the win. but I don't think this is going to be the end of this fight. INTERMISSION... Future Shock and Bennett over Bates & Briscoes. surprise there Ciampa & WGTT scratch out the win. or lightening strike a win and Masada upset injured Benjamin after well that takes out Ciampa and Haas of the 3T unless we get a new partner or they run handicap...which I just read. d'oh read then type. Lethal slays SCUM's American Dragon in a part to Elgin prowling around and Lethal gets a shot at the world title. wow. the Ants beat Lee & the Tribe. I thought for sure that it would have been a shut out Royal & C&C get the win. kinda glad I didn't post any of my picks I thik I only got 4 right so far. and Steen retains! this is how you do it losers he is the cream of the crop, the man on top, the tower of power to sweet to be sour, funky like a monkey...... um yeah sorry mini channeling Savage. Great stuff Pariah. always feel bad if I miss a show or post. keep up the great stuff
