Really enjoying this and love your rating system! Hey joebreakdown! Very glad you are digging this my friend! The rating system definitely helps me with the questions of whose in first place and deserves the title shots. There's going to be an extra rinkle with the managers getting involved with potentially upping the stakes, making the matches worth double the ratings points (starting in the second months cards after the (12th card)). But more to follow. Thanks Joe - also enjoying your and Kats feds, I am still catching up but I really enjoy the way you guys post!

What a match between Giant Baba and Yukon Eric, that was awesome. I also enjoyed the tag match and that was quite a win for Rich and Mulligan over Sullivan and OMG. Cool to see Road Warrior Hawk with a squash win in the opener. Good stuff, looking forward to more action. Hey cruefan68 - very glad you enjoyed that last card my friend. It was an interesting card - especially that Baba / Eric match, there were times when it really could have gone either way, but those were the main momentum shifting moments for sure. I'm a huge Giant Baba fan, but Yukon Eric won me over as well and I found myself pulling for him towards the end. Thanks again man for being a part of this! I'm hoping to have the next show ready at some point tomorrow. Dying to see how Rodz and Andre are as a team. I am a big fan of Baba as well, I always enjoy watching his matches and rolling them out in the game. Andre and Rodz will definitely be fun to watch. It would be wild to see them have great success as a team and have that go to Rodz' head

Now I'm really looking forward to that match! Excellent my friend.

Andre and Rodz reminds me of the tag tourney I ran who picked Andre and Heenan. Heenan scored every pin after Andre thrashed the opponent.

Month 1 - Card 8 - Match Results:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chris CandidoĀ vsĀ Nature Boy Buddy Rogers:
Chris Candido pins Buddy Rogers via his BLONDE BOMB finisher...
Chris Candido took the even more arrogant than he was Nature Boy to town, reversing Rogers initial offense and not looking back from that moment on. After hitting a near perfect Vertical Suplex for a 2 & 1/2 count against Rogers, Candido took his offense quickly to the next level, executing his finisher BLONDE BOMB - A Top Rope Powerbomb for an unexpected underdog victory. Candido's scorching hot manager Tammy Sytch blew her man a kiss from her front row seat...
Chris Candido - Rating = ( + 48 ) Buddy Rogers - Rating = ( - 48 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Johnny Valentine & Greg ValentineĀ vsĀ Johnny Rodz & Andre the Giant:
Johnny Valentine & Greg Valentine defeated Johnny Rodz & Andre the Giant via submission, Johnny Rodz tapped out to Greg Valentines finisher - FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK...
Johnny Rodz turned some heads in this match at first by going toe to toe and even getting the better of Johnny Valentine for a while. Even when inevitably Johnny Valentine got the upper hand, Rodz withstood a considerable amount of punnishment kicking out of three ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER pin attempts. When Rodz made the hot tag, the entire momentum of the match changed. Andre quickly overpowered Valentine and hit a crippling version of his BIG SPLASH which would have won the match had not Greg Valentine kicked Andre in the head, breaking up the pin. Johnny Valentine then came back against Andre to the point that he had to tag out to Rodz. Back in the ring Rodz again gave it all, but once Johnny tagged off to his son Greg, he quickly trapped Rodz in his finisher. The soon to enter the League team of Christopher Daniels and A.J. Styles, sitting at ringside compared notes often during this match mostly about how to deal with Andre...
The Valentines - Rating = ( + 42 ) Rodz & Andre - Rating = ( - 42 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The SheikĀ vsĀ Frank Gotch:
Frank Gotch pins The Sheik via his Iowa Backdrop...
A second before the bell rang is when The Sheik exploded. It took a while for Frank Gotch to get his bearings against an offense filled with nothing but; Hair Pulls, Mouth Stretchers, Eye Gouges, Face Rakes and 4 & 1/2 second Chokes Against The Ropes. The kicker was when The Sheik bit open Gotch's forehead and trip/pushed him through the ropes causing Gotch to crack the back of his head open on the steel ring steps. As soon as the Sheik was outside the ring by Gotch, somebody from underneath the ring wearing a white robe passed The Sheik some sort of metallic Foreign Object. The Sheik then proceeded to shred Frank Gotch's face further. A second after The Sheik Face Raked Gotch again back inside the ring, is when Frank Gotch exploded.
He proceeded to trap The Sheik in so many locks and holds that eventually The Sheik was rendered a howling crippled mess. Announcers Solie and Ventura mentioned that they had never seen Gotch bring his opponent specifically to the edge of tapping out, then release the hold, just to keep torturing him. While Gotch had blood dripping down his face, he applied his GOTCH TOEHOLD just long enough to inflict a near unbearable amount of pain on The Sheik only to release the hold...twice. He then executed his Iowa Backdrop to end it...
Frank Gotch - Rating = ( + 44 ) The Sheik - Rating = ( - 44 )

Well, well, well... Tag team competition or not, Andre already has a smudge on his record... Rodz might not want to let that happen too often...
Something disturbing about watching Gotch sink to The Sheik's level (not all the way, but close)... Maybe that white robed man beneath the ring chose the wrong ally...
Huge win for Candido to open the show... Can't wait to see him team up with the Macho Man...
Excellent stuff!

Oh dear, Andre lost but Rodz gave it his all...great showing!
Also huge victory for Candido in a battle of two cocky blondes.
Wonderful show and cool concept.
Looking for a few more results before we see some updated rankings.

I think next time Andre will have to keep Johnny Rodz on the apron and do all of the work himself. Andre can't be a happy camper with Rodz putting a blemish on his normally clean record. Frank Gotch vs. The Sheik was an intense main event. Gotch was bludgeoned beyond recognition but he fought back and took it to The Sheik. Good stuff. Chris Candido over Buddy Rogers was a big upset, I was not expecting to see that. Huge win for Candido and the "Macho Man".
